Design Of A Decision Support System For Prioritizing Village Infrastructure Development Using The SAW Method

Abstract: Village infrastructure development planning often faces challenges in determining priorities due to limited budget allocations and assessment mechanisms that still tend to be subjective. This study aims to build an objective,… tive, transparent, and measurable Decision Support System (DSS) to determine the priority order of infrastructure development proposals in Asam Jawa Village, Torgamba District. The applied solution integrates the Rank Order Centroid (ROC) method to calculate criteria weighting based on relative importance, and the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to process the alternative ranking calculation. The evaluation was conducted on 23 physical infrastructure proposals using four main criteria: urgency level (C1), physical condition (C2), benefits (C3), and population size (C4). The results indicate that alternative A4 (Construction of Borehole Well and Public Toilet at Field) and alternative A18 (Sejahtera Street Concrete Cast) achieved the highest preference score of 1.000000, followed by other infrastructure proposals in a structured manner. The combined use of ROC and SAW methods is proven to be effective and consistent in generating accurate rural development priority rankings. The integration of these two methods facilitates village government officials in making accountable decisions while minimizing cognitive bias risks in optimizing development budget allocation.

Development Of A Non-Intrusive RFID Elevator Access Control System For Residential Buildings

Abstract: This study developed and evaluated a standalone, non-intrusive radio frequency identification (RFID)-based elevator access control system for a four-story residential building. The system used an Arduino Uno, an MFRC522… RFID reader, and relay interfaces to regulate access to Floors 2, 3, and 4. Authorized card identifiers and floor permissions were stored locally, enabling offline operation without an external database or network connection. The relays interfaced only with the elevator push-button circuits and did not modify the original controller, motor drive, door mechanism, or safety system. Performance was evaluated using 47 registered cards and three unregistered cards, with each card tested 50 times, producing 2,500 authentication trials. Under the tested conditions, all registered cards were correctly authenticated according to their assigned floor permissions, while all unregistered cards were rejected. The system achieved 100% authentication accuracy, 100% correct relay activation, and 100% unauthorized-card rejection. Stable card detection was obtained at distances of up to approximately 1 cm. The first-floor button remained independent of the RFID module to preserve minimum accessibility during module failure. The proposed system provides a practical and low-cost retrofit solution for floor-specific elevator access control in small residential buildings.

LEADERSHIP AND WORK-LIFE AS DRIVING FACTORS FOR EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT AND PERFORMANCE

Abstract: This study examines how leadership and work-life balance influence employee performance directly and indirectly through employee engagement at the Fisheries Service of Central Maluku Regency. A descriptive quantitative,&#8230; causal-correlational design was applied to the entire population of 49 employees using total sampling. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, path analysis, and Sobel tests to estimate direct, indirect, and mediating effects. The findings show that leadership significantly affects employee engagement (beta = 0.582; p < 0.001), while work-life balance also has a significant, although smaller, effect on engagement (beta = 0.129; p = 0.005). Employee engagement strongly affects performance (beta = 0.942; p < 0.001). In contrast, the direct effects of leadership (beta = 0.034; p = 0.613) and work-life balance (beta = -0.008; p = 0.756) on performance are not significant. Sobel testing confirms that employee engagement mediates the effect of leadership on performance (p = 0.00015) and the effect of work-life balance on performance (p = 0.03). The model explains 92.4% of the variance in performance. The study's novelty lies in demonstrating, within a local public-sector context, that leadership and work-life balance improve performance primarily by strengthening employee engagement rather than through direct effects. These findings imply that public organizations should prioritize engagement-oriented leadership and work-life policies to achieve sustainable employee performance.

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of work skills, work discipline, and work motivation on employee performance with a reward scheme as a moderation variable in BU17 employees of PT. Tjiwi Chemical Paper Factory, Tbk.&#8230; bk. The research uses an explanatory quantitative approach using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method. The research population amounted to 379 employees with a sample of 192 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire based on the Likert scale and analyzed using SmartPLS 3.0. The results of the study show that work skills, work discipline, and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. In addition, reward schemes have been shown to be able to moderate the relationship between job skills, work discipline, and work motivation to employee performance significantly. These findings suggest that rewards not only serve as a form of organizational reward, but also as a work behavior reinforcer that is able to increase the effectiveness of individual contributions to performance achievement. This research provides theoretical implications in the development of the human resource management literature based on reinforcement theory and human capital theory, as well as practical implications for companies in designing a fair, transparent, and performance-based reward system to increase organizational productivity and effectiveness.

NUTRITIONAL QUALITY, SENSORY ACCEPTABILITY, AND ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY OF FUNCTIONAL STEAMED SPONGE CAKE (BOLU KUKUS) FORTIFIED WITH PUMPKIN (CUCURBITA MOSCHATA) AND GREEN PEA FLOURS

Abstract: Steamed sponge cake (bolu kukus) is a widely consumed traditional snack in Indonesia; however, its reliance on refined wheat flour limits its micronutrient and dietary fiber density. Incorporating composite flours from indigenous&#8230; ndigenous crops, such as tropical pumpkin (Cucurbita moschata) and green pea (Vigna radiata L.), offers a promising strategy for nutritional fortification and dietary diversification. This study aimed to evaluate the proximate composition, sensory acceptability, statistical differences, and production cost feasibility of steamed sponge cakes formulated with varying proportions of pumpkin and green pea flours as partial replacements for refined wheat flour. An experimental design was applied using three formulations: AF09 (Control: 100% wheat flour), BW91 (10% pumpkin flour, 20% green pea flour), and CB88 (15% pumpkin flour, 15% green pea flour). Proximate testing measured moisture, ash, protein, fat, crude fiber, and total carbohydrates (by difference). Sensory acceptance (color, aroma, taste, and texture) was evaluated by 50 semi-trained panelists using a hedonic scale. Data were analyzed non-parametrically using Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Kruskal-Wallis, and post-hoc Mann-Whitney tests. All formulations complied with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI 01-3840-1995) for moisture (31.69%–33.74%), total ash (0.66%–1.05%), crude protein (5.80%–6.65%), and crude fat (1.64%–2.82%). Formula CB88 achieved the highest crude fiber content (0.69%) and lower total energy density (269.88 kcal/100 g). Kruskal-Wallis testing indicated statistically significant differences (p<0.05) among formulations for color, taste, and texture, while aroma exhibited no significant variation (p=0.672). Formula CB88 emerged as the optimal treatment, receiving superior sensory acceptance ratings for color (90% liked) and crumb softness (88% liked) driven by natural β-carotene and pectin-moisture gelation. Production cost analysis demonstrated high economic feasibility for CB88 at IDR 3,374 per 55 g serving. Partial substitution with 15% pumpkin flour and 15% green pea flour (Formula CB88) yields a nutrient-dense, fiber-enriched, and cost-effective functional snack suitable for targeted school nutrition and dietary diversification programs.

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY THROUGH COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT: TRANSFORMING SPENT COFFEE GROUNDS INTO AROMATHERAPY CANDLES AND ROOM FRESHENERS IN JINGKANG VILLAGE

Abstract: Spent coffee grounds are one of the organic wastes that remain underutilized despite their significant potential to be transformed into value-added products. This community service program aimed to enhance the knowledge&#8230; and practical skills of the residents of Jingkang Village in converting spent coffee grounds into aromatherapy candles and air fresheners based on the principles of the circular economy. The program employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach consisting of problem identification, program planning, training implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and reflection. The activity involved 15 participants, including community members, micro-enterprise actors, and women's community groups. Program effectiveness was evaluated using pre-test and post-test assessments and analysed through a Paired Sample t-test. The results demonstrated that the average participant score increased from 46.70 to 86.00, representing an 84.15% improvement. Statistical analysis confirmed a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores (p < 0.001). Furthermore, all program success indicators were achieved, including a 100% attendance rate, 100% participant competency in producing the products, a participant satisfaction level of 93.30%, and all products meeting usability standards. The novelty of this program lies in integrating the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, circular economy principles, and quantitative statistical evaluation into a community empowerment model utilizing spent coffee grounds as value-added products. This model has strong potential to be replicated in other coffee-producing communities to promote sustainable waste management and local economic development.

SUSTAINABILITY COMMUNICATION STRATEGY IN @EOS_INDONESIA TIKTOK CONTENT IN BUILDING ELECTRIC VEHICLE EDUCATION

Abstract: The increasing use of electric vehicles in Indonesia is a step in the framework of transforming the transportation system to be more environmentally friendly to achieve the Net Zero Emission target of 2060. However, the&#8230; increasing use of electric vehicles is not only due to technical and policy changes, but also communication efforts. This study attempts to analyze the sustainability communication strategy used by the TikTok account @eos_indonesia in providing education related to electric vehicles. This study uses a qualitative method with a content analysis approach, These methods consist of digital participatory observation and documentation, The data collection is an analysis of the TikTok account @eos_indonesia content data that will be taken with a time span of April 2025 - June 2026 according to the classification that has been made, the data collected includes: video content (visual, audio and narrative). and content analysis has stages, starting from determining the unit of information, data sampling, recoding or recoding data (coding), grouping based on certain categories until finally interpreting the meaning contained in the message content. The research results show that sustainability communication strategies are carried out through five approaches: providing environmental education, reducing the complexity of electric vehicle technology, storytelling based on user experience, digital visual persuasion, and combining economic and environmental benefits in every communication message. This study contributes to the field of digital communication and sustainability communication by demonstrating the potential effectiveness of social media as a public education platform towards green transportation transformation in Indonesia.

IMPLEMENTASTION OF BUSINESS ETHICS IN VESPA SALES AND PURCHASE AGREEMENTS IN THE SCOOTER GARAGE KRANGKENG INDRAMAYU PERSPECTIVE SHARIA ECONOMI LAW

Abstract: This study aims to analyze in depth the implementation of islamic business ethics in the sale and purchase of classic Vespa motorcycles at Garage Scooter krangkeng, Indramayu Regency, trough the perspective of Sharia Economic&#8230; nomic Law. As part of sociological phenomenon and contemporary automotive creative economy, transactions of used motorcycles with high historical value are often faced with technical information asymmetry between business actors and consumers. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive method with a normative-empirical case study approach. Primary data were collected directly from the field through participatory observation and in-depth interviews with Garage Scooter owners and consumers, while secondary data were obtaied through participatory observastion and-depth interviews with Garage Scooter owners and consumers, national regulitions. The result of the study indicate thet transaction practices at Garage Scooter Kangkeng are carried out through a direct sale and purchase scheme (bal’ musawamah) and an indent system for ordering modification restorations. Business actors have implemened basic islamic business ethics values such as honesty (shiddiq0, trustworthiness, transparancy, and reponsibility for product qualit. However, crucial loopholes are still found in the form of weak black and white doumentation (written contracts), which opens up the potential fo uncertainty (gharar) and manipulation of minor information (tadlis)related to detalled machine specifacitions and the accuracy of restoration times. Penerapan Metode MOORA Pada Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Pemilihan Ketua Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa

Abstract: Pemilihan Ketua Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) merupakan proses penting dalam menentukan mahasiswa yang memiliki kompetensi terbaik untuk memimpin organisasi kemahasiswaan. Namun, proses seleksi yang masih bergantung pada&#8230; da popularitas dan penilaian subjektif berpotensi menghasilkan keputusan yang kurang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) menggunakan metode Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) untuk membantu proses pemilihan Ketua BEM secara objektif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan pembina BEM untuk menentukan kriteria dan bobot penilaian. Lima kriteria yang digunakan meliputi kepemimpinan, kemampuan komunikasi, pengalaman organisasi, integritas, dan indeks prestasi kumulatif (IPK). Tahapan metode MOORA terdiri atas penyusunan matriks keputusan, normalisasi, perhitungan nilai optimasi, dan proses perangkingan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alternatif K1 memperoleh nilai optimasi tertinggi sebesar 0,473 sehingga direkomendasikan sebagai Ketua BEM terpilih. Penerapan metode MOORA mampu menghasilkan proses pengambilan keputusan yang lebih objektif, sistematis, transparan, dan akurat sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai alat bantu dalam menentukan Ketua BEM berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan. The selection of the Student Executive Board (BEM) President is an important process in determining the most qualified student to lead the student organization. However, conventional selection processes often rely on popularity and subjective judgments, which may lead to less optimal decisions. This study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method to support a more objective selection process. Research data were collected through interviews with BEM advisors to determine the assessment criteria and their corresponding weights. Five criteria were used, namely leadership, communication skills, organizational experience, integrity, and grade point average (GPA). The MOORA method consists of decision matrix construction, normalization, optimization value calculation, and ranking. The results indicate that candidate K1 achieved the highest optimization value of 0.473 and was therefore recommended as the selected BEM President. The implementation of the MOORA method provides a more objective, systematic, transparent, and accurate decision-making process, making it an effective tool for supporting the selection of the most suitable BEM President based on predetermined criteria.

Digital Transformation and Human Capital Development: The Role of Digital Leadership, Employee Agility, and Sustainable Performance

Abstract: Digital transformation has become a strategic priority for organizations seeking to enhance competitiveness and achieve sustainable performance in dynamic business environments. This study examines the effect of digital&#8230; leadership on sustainable performance through the mediating role of employee agility within the context of human capital development. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed using survey data collected from employees involved in digital transformation initiatives. Data were gathered through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to assess the direct and indirect relationships among the proposed constructs. The findings indicate that digital leadership significantly enhances employee agility by fostering adaptability, continuous learning, and responsiveness to technological change. Employee agility was found to have a strong positive effect on sustainable performance, suggesting that agile employees contribute substantially to organizational resilience, innovation capability, and long-term effectiveness. Furthermore, employee agility partially mediates the relationship between digital leadership and sustainable performance, demonstrating that the influence of leadership on sustainability outcomes operates largely through workforce adaptability. These results highlight the critical role of human capital development in digital transformation and provide empirical evidence that sustainable organizational performance can be achieved when digital leadership is effectively translated into agile employee behavior. The study contributes to the growing literature on digital transformation and human resource management by offering an integrated framework that links leadership, employee capabilities, and sustainability-oriented organizational outcomes.
