Development Of A Non-Intrusive RFID Elevator Access Control System For Residential Buildings

Abstract: This study developed and evaluated a standalone, non-intrusive radio frequency identification (RFID)-based elevator access control system for a four-story residential building. The system used an Arduino Uno, an MFRC522… RFID reader, and relay interfaces to regulate access to Floors 2, 3, and 4. Authorized card identifiers and floor permissions were stored locally, enabling offline operation without an external database or network connection. The relays interfaced only with the elevator push-button circuits and did not modify the original controller, motor drive, door mechanism, or safety system. Performance was evaluated using 47 registered cards and three unregistered cards, with each card tested 50 times, producing 2,500 authentication trials. Under the tested conditions, all registered cards were correctly authenticated according to their assigned floor permissions, while all unregistered cards were rejected. The system achieved 100% authentication accuracy, 100% correct relay activation, and 100% unauthorized-card rejection. Stable card detection was obtained at distances of up to approximately 1 cm. The first-floor button remained independent of the RFID module to preserve minimum accessibility during module failure. The proposed system provides a practical and low-cost retrofit solution for floor-specific elevator access control in small residential buildings.

Studi Instalasi Listrik Gedung Sekolah Dasar Negeri 002 Bontang Utara

Abstract: Electrical installations in school buildings play a vital role in ensuring safety, comfort, and effective learning environments and therefore must comply with the General Requirements for Electrical Installations (PUIL).… This study aims to analyze the electrical installation condition of SDN 002 Bontang Utara through the evaluation of lighting systems, power requirements, conductors, protection systems, and air conditioning based on PUIL 2011 standards and DIALux simulation. The study employed a field research method with a quantitative descriptive approach through observation, technical measurements, documentation, and lighting simulation analysis. The findings indicate that the school’s electrical installation still exhibits several discrepancies with actual technical requirements, particularly regarding the number and capacity of lamps, air conditioner capacity, and electrical power demand. DIALux simulation revealed that several rooms have not yet met the required lighting standards, while power analysis demonstrated that the actual demand of 25,794 VA exceeds the installed capacity of 22,188.8 VA, thereby necessitating adjustments to the protection and conductor systems to enhance installation safety and efficiency. The study concludes that the electrical installation of SDN 002 Bontang Utara requires improvements in lighting, cooling systems, power capacity, and electrical protection. The novelty of this research lies in its integrated evaluation of elementary school electrical installations through field analysis, PUIL 2011 technical calculations, and DIALux simulations across rooms with diverse functions, thereby producing more comprehensive and applicable recommendations.

Studi Instalasi Listrik pada Gedung Sekolah Budi Bakti Samarinda

Abstract: This study was conducted to evaluate the quality of the electrical installation at Budi Bakti School Building in Samarinda by emphasizing aspects of reliability, safety, energy efficiency, and compliance with applicable… electrical installation standards. The research approach involved field surveys to obtain empirical data, measurements of lighting intensity, calculations of the required number of lighting points according to the function and characteristics of each room, as well as technical analysis of installation components, including conductors and protection systems. All observed data were compared with theoretical calculations to identify the level of conformity as well as potential deviations that could cause problems. The findings indicate that although the electrical installation remains operational, there are significant discrepancies, particularly in the distribution of lighting intensity, the number of lighting points, and the selection and placement of protective components that do not fully meet the standards. These discrepancies affect the optimality of lighting, reduce user comfort, and present potential safety risks. Therefore, this study recommends adjustments to the installation design, prioritizing the optimization of the lighting system, the use of standard-compliant components, and the implementation of energy efficiency principles as part of a comprehensive improvement effort. The implications of these findings highlight that regular evaluations and updates of electrical installations in educational buildings are essential to create a safe, comfortable, and productive learning environment. Thus, the results of this research not only provide practical contributions for school management but also offer a scientific basis for developing technical standards of electrical installations that are more responsive to educational needs.

Through the hermeneutic method, this research identifies the use of IoT in several contexts. The findings obtained in the novel are 1) Smart Buildings, 2) Smart Farming, 3) Smart Home, 4) Smart City, and 5) Smart Healthcare. The results show that IoT technology is a key element in achieving a more advanced and connected digital society, bringing positive impacts in daily life and providing smart solutions to various global challenges.

K-MEANS CLUSTERING METHOD FEASIBILITY OF SCHOOL BUILDING REHABILITATION IN KABUPATEN ASAHAN

Abstract: Abstract: School building construction is an important part of educational facilities and infrastructure. Many elementary school buildings in Asahan Regency are damaged, unfit for use or lack facilities including classrooms… oms and other supporting infrastructure. The results of the selection that are not transparent in deciding the feasibility of rehabilitation and construction of elementary school buildings are often subjective and time-consuming. This causes decisions to be taken that cannot be made as quickly as possible and inequality, where schools that actually need rehabilitation more do not get priority for rehabilitation. The purpose of this study is to implement data mining in the selection of school building construction projects with the K-Means clustering algorithm in clustering the feasibility of rehabilitation of elementary school building construction. The results of this study found 31 elementary schools that are eligible for school building construction rehabilitation and 4 are not eligible for school building construction rehabilitation. This study is expected to provide a significant contribution in increasing the efficiency of school building construction selection and more transparency towards elementary school buildings to be rehabilitated.        Keywords: education authorities; k-means; rehabilitation and construction of school buildings.    Abstrak: Pembangunan gedung sekolah ialah bagian penting dalam sarana dan prasarana pendidikan.  Banyak gedung Sekolah Dasar di Kabupaten Asahan menderita kerusakan, tidak layak pakai atau kekurangan fasilitas meliputi ruang kelas dan infrastruktur pendukung lainnya. Hasil penyeleksian yang bersifat tidak transparan dalam memutuskan kelayakan rehabilitasi dan pembangunan gedung Sekolah Dasar sering kali bersifat subjektif dan memakan waktu lama.Hal tersebut menyebabkan keputusan yang diambil tidak dapat dilakukan secepat mungkin serta ketimpangan, dimana sekolah yang sebenarnya lebih membutuhkan rehabilitasi justru tidak mendapatkan prioritas untuk direhabilitasi. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengimplementasi data mining pada pemilihan proyek pembangunan gedung sekolah dengan algoritma K-Means clustering dalam mengcluster kelayakan rehabilitasi pembangunan gedung sekolah dasar. Hasil Penelitian ini terdapat 31 sekolah dasar layak untuk direhabilitasi pembangunan gedung sekolah dan 4 tidak layak untuk direhabalitasi pembangunan gedung sekolah. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam menaikkan efisiensi penyeleksian pembangunan gedung sekolah dan lebih transparansi terhadap gedung sekolah dasar yang akan direhabilitasi. DEVELOPMENT OF AUGMENTED REALITY IN UNDERSTANDING THE NETS AND RIBS OF SPATIAL BUILDINGS

Augmented Reality is developed using 3D modeling, rigging, and animating methods, which are then combined using Unity. The results of the development of Augmented Reality applications in understanding the nets and ribs of this building space have been validated by experts and users. The validation results of this Augmented Reality application are rated Very Good. Banyak materi pelajaran yang lebih baik disampaikan bila menggunakan media berbasis teknologi. Salah satu media yang dapat digunakan adalah Augmented Reality. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan Augmented Reality dalam menyampaikan materi jaring-jaring dan rusuk pada Bangun Ruang. IMPLEMENTATION OF THE (MFEP) MULTIFACTOR EVALUATION PROCESS METHOD IN DETERMINING SCHOOL RENOVATION

Abstract: Abstract: The Government of Indonesia has established National Education Standards relating to facilties and infrastructure with the aim that every school-age child can enjoy a proper and quality education. However, in Batu… atu Bara District, educational problems cannot be handled optimally, especially in the suurbs, there are still many school buildings in unfit for use conditions which are quite apprehensive and no longer sufficient to accommodate the increasing number of students each year. Realizing the importance of education, the Government of Batu Bara Regency has provided a budget for school renovations which are considered to be inadequate. For policy making that is oriented towards equal rights to obtain quality and relevant education, to create a computer- based system and use the Multifactor Evaluation Process method which is implemented into the Sublime Text 3 programming language, and theb MySQL database, to assist policy makers in analyzing data school- school data that is noy suitable for renovation. This system is expected to be able to provide suggestions and provide the information needed to prioritized for enovation.   Keywords: decision support system; multifactor evaluation process; school renovation     Abstrak: Pemerintah Indonesia telah menetapkan Standar Nasional Pendidikan yang berkaitan dengan sarana dan prasarana dengan tujuan agar setiap anak usia sekolah dapat menikmati pendidikan yang layak dan bermutu. Namun di Kabupaten Batu Bara masalah pendidikan masih belum dapat ditangani secara optimal, terutama di daerah pinggiran masih banyak bangunan sekolah dengan kondisi yang tidak layak pakai dan cukup memprihatinkan dan tidak lagi memadai untuk menampung siswa yang bertambah setiap tahunnya. Sadar akan pentingnya pendidikan, Pemerintahan Kabupaten Batu Bara telah menyediakan anggaran untuk  renovasi  sekolah yang dinilai kurang layak. Untuk pengambilan kebijakan yang berorientasi pada kesamaan hak untuk memperoleh pendidikan yang bermutu dan relevan maka dibuat sistem berbasis computer dan menggunakan metode Multifactor Evaluation Process yang diimplementasikan kedalam bahasa pemrograman Sublime Text 3, dan database MySQL, untuk membantu para pemangku kebijakan dalam menganalisis data-data sekolah yang tidak layak untuk dilakukan renovasi. Dimensions of Community Religious Tolerance in Bejijong Village, Trowulan District, Mojokerto Regency

That is the step and purpose of researchers in analyzing the conditions and environment of the Bejijong village community. Researchers use descriptive qualitative research with observation methods, interviews, and literature studies. Based on what has been found, religious tolerance in Bejijong village is very good with the showing of community activities and activities that illustrate the value of tolerance, such as interfaith dialogue, cultural festivals, and the appearance of the environment seen from the diversity of buildings with the presence of characteristics that accompany each other from various religions.

Developing Green Infrastructure: Management of Madrasah Building Construction with Green Building Principles

Abstract: This study examines the management processes involved in developing green infrastructure for Islamic educational institutions, specifically focusing on the construction of madrasah buildings using green building concepts.… . It investigates how environmental sustainability principles can be systematically integrated into the planning, design, construction, and operational phases of madrasah development projects. Utilizing a qualitative case study approach combined with document analysis, this research analyzes two madrasah building projects in Indonesia that have implemented green building strategies. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with project managers, architects, contractors, madrasah leaders, and stakeholders, alongside analysis of project documents, designs, and specifications. Findings reveal that successful implementation requires an integrated management approach encompassing green design adaptation to local context, sustainable material sourcing, energy and water efficiency integration, waste management during construction, and life-cycle cost considerations. The study identifies key enablers including leadership commitment, technical expertise, community participation, and Islamic ethical alignment, while highlighting challenges such as budget constraints, regulatory gaps, and technical capacity limitations. This research contributes a framework for madrasah green building project management that balances environmental responsibility with educational functionality and Islamic architectural values.
