he authority of the Province of North Sumatra, has 111 students across elementary, junior high, and senior high school levels. SLBN Tanjungbalai is led by Mrs. Resti, S.Pd., supported by 13 teachers and 1 administrative staff member. This media integrates an interactive kinesthetic system, binary Braille sensors, and artificial intelligence (AI) capable of recognizing Braille letter patterns based on tactile input and providing real-time voice feedback. Braille letters are converted into six-dot binary codes (Braille-cell), such as A (100000), B (110000), C (100100), D (100110), up to Z (101011). These binary combinations are detected by tactile sensors or push buttons, then processed by an ESP32S connected to a 2004 LCD with I2C, a DFPlayer Mini, and a speaker to produce the corresponding letter sounds. The socialization activity was conducted at SDLB Negeri Kota Tanjungbalai, involving companion teachers and eight blind students. The activities included device demonstration, usage training, and interactive trials. The results show positive responses from both teachers and students, as the media enhances motivation, accuracy, and speed in learning Braille letters. RICKI-Braille proved to be more interactive and adaptive compared to conventional Braille learning media.

Abstrak: Media Reading And Interaction Console With Kinetic Intelligence – Braille versi prototipe bertujuan memperkenalkan inovasi teknologi pendidikan bagi peserta didik tunanetra di SLB Negeri Kota Tanjungbalai. Sekolah yang berada di bawah naungan Provinsi Sumatera Utara ini memiliki 111 siswa dari jenjang SD, SMP, hingga SMA. SLBN Tanjungbalai dipimpin oleh Ibu Resti, S.Pd., dengan dukungan 13 guru dan 1 tenaga tata usaha. Media ini memadukan sistem kinestetik interaktif, sensor Braille biner, dan kecerdasan buatan (AI) yang mampu mengenali pola huruf Braille berdasarkan input titik-titik taktil, kemudian memberikan umpan balik suara secara real-time. Huruf Braille dikonversi menjadi kode biner enam titik (Braille-cell), misalnya A (100000), B (110000), C (100100), D (100110), dan seterusnya hingga Z (101011). Sensor taktil atau push button membaca kombinasi biner tersebut, lalu memprosesnya melalui ESP32S yang terhubung dengan LCD 2004 + I2C, DFPlayer Mini, dan speaker untuk menghasilkan suara huruf yang sesuai. Sosialisasi dilakukan di SDLB Negeri Kota Tanjungbalai dengan melibatkan guru pendamping dan delapan siswa tunanetra. Kegiatan mencakup demonstrasi alat, pelatihan penggunaan, serta uji coba interaktif. Hasilnya, guru dan siswa memberikan respons positif karena media ini meningkatkan motivasi, ketepatan, dan kecepatan belajar huruf Braille. RICKI-Braille terbukti lebih interaktif dan adaptif dibanding media Braille konvensional.

yer Mini at MAS Islamiyah Hessa Air Genting. Activities covered needs assessment, system design, audio preparation, installation, training, and evaluation. The system achieved 100% timing accuracy and 40% cost efficiency compared to conventional bell systems. It operated reliably, produced clear audio, and integrated smoothly with the school’s sound system, improving punctuality among teachers and students. The solution is low-cost, easy to maintain, and replicable for other schools. Project outputs include one functional prototype, training materials, and a manuscript submitted to a nationally accredited journal. After this program, the partner experienced improved discipline among teachers and students due to a more organized and punctual bell schedule. In addition, school operators are now able to operate and maintain the system independently, resulting in more efficient school operations.

Abstrak: Operasional bel sekolah yang masih manual di sejumlah sekolah pinggiran menyebabkan ketidakteraturan jadwal dan menurunnya kedisiplinan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menerapkan sistem bel otomatis berbasis Arduino Nano, modul RTC DS3231, dan DFPlayer Mini di MAS Islamiyah Hessa Air Genting. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan perangkat keras dan lunak, perekaman konten audio, instalasi sistem, pelatihan operator, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu meningkatkan ketepatan waktu pembunyian bel hingga 100% dibandingkan sistem manual, serta menurunkan biaya implementasi hingga 40% dibandingkan bel komersial dengan fungsi sepadan. Sistem beroperasi stabil, memiliki kualitas audio yang jelas, dan terintegrasi baik dengan sound system sekolah, sehingga berdampak pada peningkatan kedisiplinan guru dan siswa. Solusi ini tergolong ekonomis, mudah dirawat, dan berpotensi direplikasi di sekolah lain dengan karakteristik serupa. Luaran kegiatan meliputi satu unit prototipe berfungsi, modul pelatihan, serta naskah artikel ilmiah yang diajukan pada jurnal terakreditasi nasional. Setelah kegiatan ini, mitra mengalami peningkatan kedisiplinan guru dan siswa karena jadwal bel menjadi lebih teratur dan tepat waktu. Selain itu, operator sekolah kini mampu mengoperasikan dan merawat sistem secara mandiri sehingga kinerja operasional sekolah menjadi lebih efisien.

unpleasant odors, and increased dependency on chemical fertilizers and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The main constraints are limited knowledge, skills, and access to waste processing technology. This community service program aims to optimize the utilization of cattle waste as organic fertilizer and alternative energy through the implementation of the Sustainability Techno-Integrated Agrofarm model. The method employed involves a participatory approach through extension, training, consultation, and the application of the appropriate MetaCow technology as a household-scale biogas digester. Program success was evaluated using pre-test and post-test instruments, analyzed by n-gain and paired sample t-test to assess improvements in participants’ knowledge and skills. The results demonstrate a significant enhancement in the community’s ability to process waste into economically valuable organic fertilizer and biogas, while also strengthening the institutional capacity of Sanggar Tani as a center for sustainable agricultural technology learning. This program contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in clean energy, sustainable production, and environmental preservation.

Abstrak: Masyarakat peternak sapi di Desa Branjang, Kabupaten Semarang menghadapi permasalahan utama yakni penumpukan limbah ternak yang belum dikelola secara optimal. Hal ini berdampak pada pencemaran lingkungan, munculnya bau tidak sedap, serta meningkatnya ketergantungan akan pupuk kimia serta gas elpiji. Kendala atama adalah karena keterbatasan pengetahuan, keterampilan, serta akses terhadap teknologi pengolahan limbah. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan limbah ternak sapi sebagai pupuk organik dan energi alternatif melalui penerapan model Sustainability Techno-Integrated Agrofarm. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif melalui penyuluhan, pelatihan, konsultasi, dan penerapan teknologi tepat guna MetaCow sebagai digester biogas rumah tangga, serta evaluasi keberhasilan melalui pre-test dan post-test yang dianalisis melalui uji n-gain dan paired sample t-test untuk menilai peningkatan tingkat pemahaman serta keterampilan peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan kemampuan masyarakat dalam mengolah limbah menjadi pupuk organik dan biogas yang bernilai ekonomis serta memperkuat kelembagaan Sanggar Tani sebagai pusat pembelajaran teknologi pertanian berkelanjutan. order to improve their job readiness. The activity took place at Balai RW 08, Kalideres, and West Jakarta. This program was motivated by the condition of high school/vocational graduates in RW 08, most of whom come from lower-middle-income families and are therefore more inclined to enter the workforce directly rather than pursue higher education. Thus, training is needed to enhance practical skills relevant to industry requirements.The training focused on three main aspects, developing a professional curriculum vitae (CV), strategies for facing job interviews in both Indonesian and English, and practicing digital skills through the use of Canva for CV creation. Participants were actively engaged through interactive sessions, simulations, and collaborative exercises. The results of the program indicated increased awareness, confidence, and skills among participants in preparing themselves to enter the workforce. The conclusion of this program is that integrating digital literacy and English proficiency in community-based training can enhance the competitiveness of high school/vocational school graduates and make a tangible contribution to supporting their readiness for the job market.

Kegiatan ini berlangsung di Balai RW 08, Kalideres, Jakarta Barat. Program ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi lulusan SMA/SMK di RW 08 yang sebagian besar berasal dari keluarga ekonomi menengah ke bawah, sehingga cenderung lebih memilih langsung bekerja daripada melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pelatihan yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan praktis sesuai kebutuhan industri.Pelatihan difokuskan pada tiga aspek utama: penyusunan curriculum vitae (CV) profesional, strategi menghadapi wawancara kerja dalam bahasa Indonesia maupun bahasa Inggris, serta keterampilan digital melalui penggunaan Canva untuk pembuatan CV. Peserta terlibat secara aktif melalui sesi interaktif, simulasi, dan latihan kolaboratif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran, kepercayaan diri, dan keterampilan peserta dalam mempersiapkan diri menghadapi dunia kerja. Kesimpulannya, integrasi literasi digital dan kemampuan bahasa Inggris dalam pelatihan berbasis masyarakat dapat meningkatkan daya saing lulusan SMA/SMK serta memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam mendukung kesiapan mereka menghadapi pasar kerja.

HSAR Jaso Danau in Nagari Tikalak, Solok Regency, experienced a 35% decline in sales turnover over the past two years due to limited digital marketing and reliance on conventional sales. In addition, production capacity could only meet about 60% of market demand, with inconsistent product quality caused by the absence of written SOPs. The program was implemented using a participatory approach through stages of socialization, technical training, innovation adoption, and mentoring. The main focus included the development of production SOPs, logbooks and digital bookkeeping, organizational structuring, and digital marketing strategies using websites, QR Codes, and social media. The results revealed significant improvement in five key aspects: business recording, production, distribution, branding, and digital marketing. The average score increased from 2.7 (fair) in 2024 to 4.0 (good) in 2025, with the highest achievement in business recording and digital marketing through the activation of an official website and marketplace integration. This transformation demonstrates that digitalization of local food MSMEs not only improves product quality and consistency but also expands distribution channels, strengthens competitiveness, and supports the achievement of the SDGs, particularly women’s empowerment, poverty alleviation, economic growth, and sustainable consumption and production.

Abstrak: Program ini bertujuan mentransformasi produk olahan ikan bilih khas Danau Singkarak melalui digitalisasi usaha guna meningkatkan daya tarik wisata dan nilai tambah pangan lokal. Mitra kegiatan adalah POKLAHSAR Jaso Danau di Nagari Tikalak, Kabupaten Solok, yang mengalami penurunan omzet hingga 35% dalam dua tahun terakhir akibat keterbatasan pemasaran digital dan masih mengandalkan penjualan konvensional. Selain itu, kapasitas produksi hanya mampu memenuhi sekitar 60% permintaan pasar, dengan kualitas produk sering tidak konsisten karena ketiadaan SOP tertulis. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif melalui tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, penerapan inovasi, dan pendampingan. Fokus utama meliputi penyusunan SOP produksi, logbook dan pembukuan digital, pembentukan struktur organisasi, serta strategi pemasaran berbasis website, QR Code, dan media sosial. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan signifikan pada lima aspek utama: pencatatan usaha, produksi, distribusi, branding, dan pemasaran digital. Skor rata-rata naik dari 2,7 (cukup) pada 2024 menjadi 4,0 (baik) pada 2025, dengan capaian terbesar pada pencatatan usaha dan pemasaran digital melalui aktivasi website resmi dan integrasi marketplace. ns as it depends on weather conditions, requires 2–3 days, and produces products that are less hygienic and inconsistent in quality. The purpose of this activity is to provide a solution through mentoring and training in the use of the electric emping melinjo dryer (KEPINGJO) so that partners are able to operate the equipment and increase production capacity. The implementation method includes several stages: preparation, technology socialization, training, trials, evaluation, and mentoring. The results show that the partners actively participated and were able to operate the equipment independently. The use of the electric dryer resulted in a reduction from 1 kg to 0.64 kg within 1 hour at a temperature of 55 °C, which is much faster than the traditional drying method that takes 2–3 days. In addition, the moisture content of emping melinjo, initially 29% in the wet condition, decreased to 9.5% after the drying process using the electric dryer. The final product is more hygienic, evenly dried, and has a longer shelf life. The application of the KEPINGJO electric dryer has proven to increase productivity, product quality, and household income while strengthening the role of universities in delivering appropriate technological innovations.

Metode tersebut memiliki banyak keterbatasan karena bergantung pada cuaca, membutuhkan waktu 2–3 hari, serta menghasilkan produk yang kurang higienis dan tidak seragam. Tujuan kegiatan adalah memberikan solusi melalui pendampingan dan pelatihan penggunaan alat pengering elektrik emping melinjo (KEPINGJO) agar mitra mampu mengoperasikan dan meningkatkan kapasitas produksi. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tahap persiapan, sosialisasi teknologi, pelatihan, uji coba, serta evaluasi dan pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan mitra aktif berpartisipasi dan mampu menggunakan alat secara mandiri. Penggunaan alat pengering elektrik memperlihatkan penyusutan dari 1 kg menjadi 0,64 kg dalam waktu 1 jam pada suhu 55 °C, jauh lebih cepat dibanding metode tradisional 2–3 hari. Selain itu, kadar air emping melinjo yang semula sebesar 29% pada kondisi basah menurun menjadi 9,5% setelah proses pengeringan menggunakan alat pengering elektrik. Produk yang dihasilkan lebih higienis, kering merata, dan memiliki daya simpan lebih lama. Penerapan pengering elektrik KEPINGJO terbukti meningkatkan produktivitas, kualitas, serta pendapatan rumah tangga, sekaligus memperkuat kontribusi perguruan tinggi dalam menghadirkan inovasi tepat guna.

timal because the teachers lack a for-mal educational background in the field, causing students to have difficulty mastering basic vocabulary, pronunciation, and understanding instructions. This research aims to address this problem by implementing an Activity Based Learning (ABL) approach, which emphasizes active student involvement through direct activities such as games, songs, visual simulations, and pronunciation exercises. This activity was carried out in four sessions on July 22, July 25, July 29, and August 4, 2025. Evaluation results indi-cate notable improvement. Among the five participating students, four students (80%) showed an average 20% increase in basic vocabulary mastery compared to pre-activity levels. Ninety percent demonstrated clearer pronunciation, and all students (100%) re-ported feeling enthusiastic and more motivated to learn. These findings confirm that the Activity Based Learning (ABL) approach is effective in enhancing participation and learning motivation while creating an enjoyable and meaningful learning experience. All students expressed interest in joining similar activities in the future.

Abstrak: Penguasaan Bahasa Inggris sejak usia dini memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk kompetensi generasi muda untuk menghadapi tantangan global di masa depan. Di Sanggar Belajar Tembesi Sidomulyo, pengajaran Bahasa Inggris belum optimal karena pengajar tidak memiliki latar belakang pendidikan formal di bidang tersebut, sehingga siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam penguasaan kosakata dasar, pelafalan, serta pemahaman instruksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan menerapkan pendekatan. Activity Based Learning (ABL), yang menekankan keterlibatan aktif siswa melalui aktivitas langsung seperti permainan, lagu, dan latihan pelafalan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam empat sesi pada tanggal 22 Juli, 25 Juli, 29 Juli, dan 4 Agustus 2025. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan. Dari lima siswa peserta, empat siswa (80%) mengalami peningkatan penguasaan kosakata dasar rata-rata 20% dibandingkan sebelum kegiatan. Sebanyak 90% siswa menunjukkan per-baikan pelafalan, dan seluruh peserta (100%) menyatakan merasa senang serta lebih termotivasi mengikuti pembelajaran.Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan Activity Based Learning (ABL) efektif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi dan motivasi belajar, sekaligus menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan dan bermakna. Seluruh siswa juga menyampaikan minat untuk mengikuti kegiatan serupa di masa mendatang.

h the installation of lightning rods and education on bad weather conditions at sea. This activity was carried out in Segoro Tambak Village, Sedati District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. The participants in this activity are local fishermen who are members of the KUB Geronggong. The methods used in this activity include 1. Initial Survey; 2. Socialization; 3. Training Session; 4. Technology Application; and 5. Mentoring and Evaluation. The results of the pre-test and post-test showed that the fishermen's level of understanding increasing by 8%. Based on the questionnaire results, the majority of fishermen gave positive feedback of this activity. In terms of program assessment, 71.4% of participants stated that the material provided was very easy to understand, and 82.1% of participants considered the speakers' delivery to be very clear. The opportunity to ask questions was also considered sufficient by 64.3% of participants, while in terms of satisfaction, 85.7% of participants stated that they were very happy to participate in this activity. All participants (100%) stated that this activity increased their knowledge, improved their preparedness for bad weather, and encouraged the application of knowledge in their daily lives.

Abstrak: Masih banyak nelayan tradisional di Indonesia yang penghasilannya turun di musim penghujan karena kendala cuaca buruk. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keselamatan nelayan melalui pemasangan alat penangkal petir dan edukasi cuaca buruk saat melaut. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Segoro Tambak, Kecataman Sedati, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur. Mitra dari kegiatan ini merupakan nelayan lokal yang tergabung dalam Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUB) Geronggong. Metode kegiatan meliputi 1.Survey Awal; 2.Sosialisasi; 3.Pelatihan; 4.Penerapan Teknologi; serta 5.Pendampingan dan Evaluasi. Dari hasil pre-test dan post-test didapati tingkat pemahaman nelayan meningkat sebesar 8%. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner, mayoritas nelayan memberikan penilaian positif terhadap kegiatan ini. Pada aspek penilaian acara, sebanyak 71,4% peserta menyatakan materi yang diberikan sangat mudah dipahami, dan 82,1% peserta menilai penyampaian narasumber sangat jelas. Kesempatan bertanya juga dinilai sangat cukup oleh 64,3% peserta, sedangkan dari sisi kepuasan, 85,7% peserta menyatakan sangat senang mengikuti kegiatan ini. Seluruh peserta (100%) menyatakan kegiatan ini menambah pengetahuan, meningkatkan kesiapan menghadapi cuaca buruk, serta mendorong penerapan ilmu dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

However, students at SMKN 1 Kalipucang still need information about the steps of making mockups that are in line with the standards of the real working industry. The Architecture Study Program at UKDW has an Architectural Communication Techniques class that learns about making model mockups for architectural presentations. Therefore, SMKN 1 Kalipucang in collaboration with the Architecture Study Program of UKDW held a workshop on mockup making for the 11th grade students of the DPIB Department of SMKN 1 Kalipucang so that students can develop knowledge in making mockups. This activity used a training method that began with an explanation and continued with a workshop held in groups. From the workshop, 100% of students were able to make a simple building mockup in a limited time.

Abstrak: SMKN 1 Kalipucang merupakan salah satu SMK di Indonesia yang menawarkan jurusan Desain Pemodelan Informasi Bangunan (DPIB). Siswa pada jurusan DPIB dididik agar siap untuk bekerja dalam hal menyajikan informasi bangunan secara visual dalam bentuk maket maupun animasi. Program Studi Arsitektur UKDW memiliki kelas Teknik Komunikasi Arsitektur yang mengajarkan tentang salah satunya pembuatan maket model dalam presentasi arsitektur. Oleh karena itu, SMKN 1 Kalipucang bekerjasama dengan Program Studi Arsitektur UKDW mengadakan workshop pembuatan maket bagi siswa Kelas XI Jurusan DPIB SMKN 1 Kalipucang agar siswa dapat mengembangkan ilmu dalam membuat maket. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode pelatihan dengan penyuluhan dan workshop secara berkelompok. Dari workshop yang telah dilakukan, 100% siswa mampu untuk membuat maket bangunan sederhana dalam waktu yang terbatas.

simulation of traffic dynamics. However, its utilization has not been optimal among consultants, including PT HAGEN AMERSA VETA, due to limited knowledge. This community service aims to raise the competence of PT HAGEN AMERSA VETA staff through VISSIM training. The method uses blended learning, combining theory, case studies, and hands-on practice. The evaluation was conducted through pretest and post-test. The pretest results showed an average score of 56.18, reflecting limited basic understanding. After the training, the post-test score increased significantly to 84.79, demonstrating an understanding of the concept to practical application of VISSIM. The training proved to significantly improve consultant competency, benefiting participants while improving the quality of the company's services in transportation projects.

Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi dalam perencanaan transportasi membuka peluang besar bagi konsultan untuk meningkatkan akurasi dan efisiensi analisis lalu lintas. Salah satu alat penting adalah software VISSIM, yang memungkinkan simulasi dinamika lalu lintas secara realistis. Namun, pemanfaatannya belum optimal di kalangan konsultan, termasuk PT HAGEN AMERSA VETA, karena keterbatasan pengetahuan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi staf PT HAGEN AMERSA VETA melalui pelatihan VISSIM. Metodenya menggunakan blended learning, menggabungkan teori, studi kasus, dan praktik langsung. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pretest dan post-test. Hasil pretest menunjukkan rata-rata skor 56,18, mencerminkan pemahaman dasar yang terbatas. Setelah pelatihan, skor post-test meningkat signifikan menjadi 84,79, menunjukkan pemahaman konsep hingga aplikasi praktis VISSIM. Pelatihan ini terbukti meningkatkan kompetensi konsultan secara signifikan, memberikan manfaat bagi peserta sekaligus meningkatkan kualitas layanan perusahaan dalam proyek transportasi.
