slamic fasting—particularly Ramadan and sunnah fasting—and cellular repair processes through biological mechanisms such as autophagy, cell regeneration, and mitochondrial function enhancement. Using an integrative literature review method, this study synthesized findings from scientific and Islamic sources retrieved from databases including PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar from 2015 to 2025. The findings reveal that fasting positively affects systemic inflammation reduction, improved insulin sensitivity, metabolic regulation, and the prevention of premature aging and degenerative diseases. Moreover, fasting strengthens psychological and spiritual dimensions, supporting mental health and enhancing emotional resilience. This synergy between biological and spiritual benefits highlights fasting as a holistic health strategy. The study affirms that Islamic values align with modern preventive health principles and offer a solid foundation for spiritually based health promotion. Further research is recommended to evaluate specific biomarkers related to fasting-induced cell regeneration.

tative approach with data collection techniques through closed questionnaires. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents who were selected randomly. The results of the partial test analysis (t-test) show that self-efficacy has a significant effect on academic stress, with a significance value of 0.001 (p <0.05) and a calculated t value of 3.300 which is greater than the t table of 1.98472. This indicates a positive influence between self-efficacy and academic stress. In addition, the coefficient of determination (R square) value of 0.316 indicates that 31% of the variation in academic stress can be explained by the self-efficacy variable, while the remaining 69% is influenced by other factors outside the study. The normality test using the Monte Carlo approach produced a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.249, which means that the data is normally distributed. Thus, this study confirms the importance of the role of self-efficacy and social support in reducing students' academic stress.

such as the State Civil Apparatus (ASN), advocates, and the press in Padang City in the aspect of social geography studies. The methods used in this research are observation and literature study. Observations were conducted to identify the location of government offices, law firms, and press offices, while literature studies used secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) report and thematic maps. The results show that the civil servant profession is concentrated in the centre of government to support the efficiency of public services, particularly in West Padang and East Padang. Advocate firms are located around economic centres and courts, which facilitate access for people who need legal services. Meanwhile, the press profession is concentrated in the city centre to support fast and efficient information distribution. The distribution of these professions is influenced by accessibility, population concentration, and the socio-economic needs of the community. The findings provide an overview of how geographical factors play an important role in the distribution of professions in Padang City. It is hoped that this research can serve as a reference for more strategic development planning and human resource management in the future.

se of this study is to analyze public perceptions of the implementation of the principles of accountability, transparency, openness, and the rule of law in public services in Gurinda Jaya Village, Merauke Regency, and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of village officials and community service users. The results indicate that the implementation of good governance principles has not been optimal, characterized by discrepancies in service delivery times with established standards, limited public understanding of service information, inconsistent transparency practices, and an unfulfilled sense of justice and legal certainty in public services. The study's conclusion confirms that strengthening apparatus capacity, improving discipline and integrity, and strengthening village government commitment and community participation are important implications for realizing more effective and accountable village governance.
Abstract:This study is motivated by the low level of senior high school students’ critical thinking skills in Biology learning in Indonesia and the urgent need for instructional innovations that effectively foster higher-order thinking…
thinking skills. The primary research problem lies in the inconsistency of findings from previous studies regarding the effectiveness of Project-Based Learning, thus necessitating a comprehensive analysis to obtain more robust and integrated conclusions. The study aims to examine the effect of Project-Based Learning on students’ critical thinking skills and to identify moderating factors influencing this effect through a meta-analysis of 27 relevant studies. The results indicate that Project-Based Learning has a significant impact, with a cumulative effect size of 0.98, categorized as large and consistent, supported by low heterogeneity (I² = 18.70%) and strong resistance to publication bias. The findings further reveal that critical thinking indicators serve as the most dominant moderating factor, while sample size and additional variables do not show significant influence, and the standalone model demonstrates slightly higher effectiveness than combined approaches. The conclusion affirms that Project-Based Learning is effective in enhancing critical thinking skills through contextual, active, and student-centered learning. The novelty of this study lies in the systematic integration of multiple studies through meta-analysis, producing strong empirical evidence, as well as the comprehensive identification of moderating factors that have been rarely explored, thereby contributing both theoretically and practically to evidence-based Biology education development.
Abstract:Educational program evaluation serves as a strategic element to ensure the improvement of learning quality at the elementary school level, particularly as schools are required to be adaptive to students’ diverse learning…
ng needs. A major issue frequently encountered is teachers’ limited capacity to implement evaluation models that are simple, sustainable, and relevant as a basis for instructional decision-making. This study aims to analyze the application of simple evaluation through formative and summative approaches as a systematic effort to enhance the quality of learning in elementary schools. The formative approach is employed throughout the instructional process to provide immediate feedback, identify students’ learning difficulties, and adjust teaching strategies in real time, while the summative approach is applied at the end of the instructional period to assess the level of goal attainment and the overall effectiveness of the program. The findings indicate that a balanced implementation of both approaches enables teachers to design learning activities that are more responsive, measurable, and oriented toward continuous improvement. Practically designed simple evaluations also encourage teachers to take an active role as controllers of learning quality rather than merely as curriculum implementers. The conclusion of this study confirms that the integration of formative and summative evaluation in a simple yet systematic manner effectively improves learning quality while strengthening a reflective culture in elementary school settings. The novelty of this study lies in its emphasis on an evaluation model that is easy to apply, contextual, and oriented toward teachers’ daily pedagogical decision-making, thereby offering a practical alternative for elementary schools with limited formal evaluation resources.

inability of educational programs. This article originates from the issue of the limited use of comprehensive evaluation as a basis for educational decision-making, which causes evaluation to be frequently perceived merely as the measurement of learning outcomes. The research problem focuses on how the concepts, functions, and models of educational program evaluation can be comprehensively and applicatively understood based on experts’ perspectives. This study elaborates the ideas of Ralph Tyler, Cronbach, and Stufflebeam, who emphasize evaluation as a provider of meaningful information, a means of identifying program strengths and weaknesses, and a foundation for continuous improvement. The research method employs a literature study by reviewing books, scientific articles, and relevant journals discussing educational evaluation. The findings indicate that evaluation serves a formative function for continuous quality improvement and a summative function as a form of public accountability, encompassing aspects of policy, curriculum, learning processes, learning outcomes, and educational resource management. Various evaluation models, such as CIPP, Provus, Stake, Kirkpatrick, and the Logical Model, are identified as systematic frameworks that are complementary and contextual for application according to program needs. The conclusion confirms that educational program evaluation plays a strategic role in improving learning quality through planned measurement processes, the provision of accurate feedback, and data-based program adjustments. The novelty of this study lies in its comprehensive synthesis of evaluation concepts, functions, and models, presented integratively as a conceptual–practical guide for policymakers and educational practitioners, positioning evaluation not merely as an administrative activity but as an instrument for sustainable educational quality development.
Abstract:Inclusive education is a global mandate that emphasizes the importance of providing education that ensures access, participation, and learning success for all students, including children with special needs (CSN). In this…
s context, children with mild intellectual disabilities present unique challenges, particularly related to limitations in cognitive aspects, social adaptation, and self-regulation. The main issue addressed in this study is how structured individual learning strategies can be effectively implemented to support the achievement of competencies for students with mild intellectual disabilities in inclusive elementary school settings. The aim of this research is to conduct a theoretical review of the effectiveness of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) as a pedagogical approach based on individual needs, responsive to the unique characteristics of learners. The method used is a systematic literature review with a qualitative-descriptive approach through the examination of scientific publications, academic books, and national policies related to inclusive education and differentiated learning services. The analysis results show that the IEP plays a strategic role in optimally accommodating the learning needs of students with mild intellectual disabilities, emphasizing flexible planning, realistic goals, and progress-oriented evaluation. The effectiveness of the IEP increases significantly when it is designed through cross-professional collaboration among general education teachers, special education teachers, and parents. The conclusion of this study affirms that the implementation of IEP not only strengthens the pedagogical dimension of inclusive education but also promotes a paradigm shift towards more adaptive and humanistic education. The novelty of this study lies in the conceptual integration and practical implementation of the IEP for students with mild intellectual disabilities in elementary schools, which remains limited within the scope of national research.
