This study aimed to develop an Integrated Communicative Competence Model for business education through the synthesis of previous empirical studies and recent international literature. A conceptual research design employing an integrative evidence synthesis approach was used to analyse empirical findings on bilingual competency, pair interaction, communicative competence, and professional readiness. The synthesis demonstrates that bilingual competency provides the linguistic and intercultural foundation for effective communication, while pair interaction functions as a collaborative learning mechanism that strengthens authentic communication practices. The interaction of these dimensions enhances communicative competence, which subsequently improves students' professional readiness and graduate employability in multilingual business environments. The proposed model contributes to communication studies by integrating bilingual competency and collaborative learning into a unified conceptual framework and provides practical guidance for curriculum development and communication-oriented learning in business education.

This research problem focuses on how the process of cultural commodification affects the meaning of the tradition, as well as how intercultural communication strategies are employed by the community to convey cultural values to diverse audiences. This study aims to analyze the relationship between cultural commodification and intercultural communication practices in the Nyawang Bulan tradition, as well as to identify adaptation strategies implemented by the community to preserve the core meaning of the tradition. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a post-positivist paradigm. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results indicate that the Nyawang Bulan tradition undergoes a process of commodification through artistic performances, cultural markets, and digital branding, allowing local culture to be consumed more widely without losing its fundamental meaning. Intercultural communication strategies, including message and symbol accommodation, enable tourists to understand the values of the tradition while maintaining local identity. The tradition serves as an adaptive space for cultural dialogue, integrating preservation, cross-cultural interaction, and community economic empowerment.

issue of ethnic, religious, and racial differences, this study seeks to uncover the universal and contextual dimensions of the principles of diversity in Islamic teachings. Gadamer's hermeneutic approach is used as a theoretical framework for critically interpreting Qur'anic texts, with the aim of contributing to the treasure trove of modern interpretations of pluralism. The findings of the study show that the Qur'an, through verses that emphasize the unity of humanity and respect for diversity, provides a strong foundation for the implementation of diversity values. The discussion also explained the social implications of the application of the principle of diversity according to the Qur'an, including in the context of politics, education, and intercultural relations in pluralistic societies. By integrating critical analysis of sacred texts with empirical data and theoretical studies, this article is expected to make a significant contribution to the research treasure trove of Islamic studies and pluralism. This research emphasizes that the role of the Qur'an in upholding the value of diversity is multi-perspective; It not only provides spiritual guidance, but also offers an ethical framework that can foster the construction of an inclusive, just, and harmonious modern society. The purpose of this research is to elaborate on the role of the Qur'an as a source of values of diversity and pluralism, by tracing relevant verses and relating them to the social reality on the ground. Thus, this research not only aims to provide textual analysis, but also examines the practical application of the teachings of the Qur'an in promoting peace and social justice in the era of globalization. was conducted through two online training sessions via Zoom meetings. The implementation followed five stages: Training Needs Analysis, Planning, Training Implementation, Evaluation, and Documentation. The Training Needs Analysis identified participants’ needs related to Indonesian cultural knowledge. Based on the findings, training materials and learning activities were designed during the planning stage. The implementation stage consisted of interactive sessions introducing Indonesian cultural diversity, traditions, and values. Evaluation was conducted through participant feedback and assessment of learning outcomes, while documentation recorded the entire process and results. The findings demonstrated that the program effectively enhanced participants’ understanding of Indonesian culture. Evaluation results revealed that 92% of participants indicated that they were motivated, felt confident, and developed a positive self-image regarding their understanding and appreciation of Indonesian culture. These results suggest that online cultural training can be an effective way to promote cultural awareness and empower participants to engage more confidently with Indonesian cultural values.

Abstrak: Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta dari Misamis University mengenai budaya Indonesia, bahasa Indonesia, serta posisi bahasa Inggris yang digunakan di Indonesia. Program ini dilaksanakan melalui dua sesi pelatihan daring menggunakan Zoom Meeting. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui lima tahapan, yaitu: Analisis Kebutuhan Pelatihan (Training Needs Analysis), Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan Pelatihan, Evaluasi, dan Dokumentasi. Tahap Analisis Kebutuhan Pelatihan dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan peserta terkait pengetahuan tentang budaya Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut, materi pelatihan dan aktivitas pembelajaran dirancang pada tahap perencanaan. Tahap pelaksanaan terdiri atas sesi-sesi interaktif yang memperkenalkan keberagaman budaya, tradisi, dan nilai-nilai yang dimiliki Indonesia serta bahasa Indonesia. Selanjutnya, evaluasi dilakukan melalui umpan balik peserta dan penilaian hasil belajar, sedangkan dokumentasi digunakan untuk merekam seluruh proses dan hasil kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa program ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman peserta mengenai budaya Indonesia. Hasil evaluasi mengungkapkan bahwa 92% peserta menyatakan termotivasi, merasa lebih percaya diri, serta mengembangkan citra diri yang positif terkait pemahaman dan apresiasi mereka terhadap budaya Indonesia. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan budaya secara daring dapat menjadi metode yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kesadaran budaya serta memberdayakan peserta agar lebih percaya diri dalam memahami dan mengaplikasikan nilai-nilai budaya Indonesia.

donesian in everyday life functions not only as a means of communication, but also as a representation of the community's social identity. This study aims to analyze the multilingual communication practices of Central Java–West Java border communities and to explain the role of language in representing community social identity. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review method supported by social-contextual reflection. Data were obtained from various scientific sources discussing multilingual communication, social identity, intercultural communication, bilingualism, and multilingualism. The analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, theme categorization, meaning interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that border communities flexibly use Javanese, Sundanese, and Indonesian according to the context of interaction, social relations, and communication needs. The practices of code switching and code mixing are important parts of daily communication as forms of social and cultural adaptation. In addition, language use functions as a symbol of cultural identity, a means of identity negotiation, and a mechanism of social integration in a multicultural environment. The findings affirm that multilingual communication is a representation of dynamic social identity and reflects the ability of border communities to maintain social harmony amid cultural diversity.
