The Effect of Inflation, Interest Rates, and Exchange Rates on Stock Returns With The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) as an Intervening Variable in Indonesia 2016–2025

Abstract: This study examines the effect of inflation, interest rates (BI7DRR), and exchange rates (USD/IDR) on stock returns of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk., with the Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) as an intervening variable.… e. Using a quantitative explanatory research design, monthly secondary data spanning January 2016 to December 2025 (120 observations) were analysed using Pearson correlation and two-stage path analysis (OLS regression). Results indicate that inflation and exchange rates significantly influence IHSG, while the BI Rate does not. However, neither macroeconomic variables nor IHSG significantly affect Telkom's stock returns either directly or indirectly. The model explains only 2.7% of the variation in stock returns, suggesting that company-specific and sectoral factors dominate return determination. These findings imply that IHSG does not serve as an effective mediating channel between macroeconomic conditions and individual stock returns for Telkom. Investors in the telecommunications sector should prioritise fundamental and sectoral analysis over macroeconomic indicators when making portfolio decisions

An Empirical Analysis of Financial Ratios and Financial Performance among Telecommunication Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, 2022–2024

Abstract: The rapid growth of the telecommunications industry, driven by increasing demand for digital services, is not always accompanied by stable financial performance due to cost pressures, competition, and infrastructure investment… stment requirements. This condition requires companies to manage their finances effectively, making financial ratio analysis important in evaluating corporation performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of activity ratios, liquidity ratios, and solvency ratios on the financial performance of telecommunication companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2022–2024 period. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive research design. The data used are secondary data obtained from financial statements. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with 18 companies over a three-year period, resulting in 54 observations. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression with SPSS. The independent variables include activity ratio (TATO), liquidity ratio (CR), and solvency ratio (DER), while the dependent variable is financial performance (ROE). The outcome show that partially, the activity ratio does not have a substantial effect on financial performance. Meanwhile, liquidity and solvency ratios have a negative and substantial effect on financial performance. Simultaneously, all three ratios have a substantial effect on financial performance. These findings indicate that financial performance is influenced by asset management, the ability to meet obligations, and capital structure.

ANALYSIS OF PT TELKOM INDONESIA (PERSERO) TBK'S READINESS FOR CORPORATE TRANSFORMATION FROM A BUSINESS-TO-CONSUMER (B2C) MODEL TO A DIGITAL BUSINESS-TO-BUSINESS (B2B) MODEL IN RESPONDING TO GLOBAL BUSINESS COMPETITION: A CASE STUDY OF PT TELKOM INDONESIA (PERSERO) TBK

Abstract: The Indonesian telecommunication industry is currently experiencing saturation in the Business-to-Consumer (B2C) market segment, prompting PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk to aggressively execute business transformation… by shifting toward a Business-to-Business (B2B) Digital model to maintain relevance amidst increasingly competitive and dynamic global business competition. This shifting phenomenon demands comprehensive internal readiness, particularly regarding resource orchestration and marketing ambidexterity maturity to balance traditional connectivity business with the exploration of high-value digital service innovation. This research employs a quantitative methodology with descriptive and causal approaches to dissect and objectively measure the level of organizational readiness in facing such market disruptions. Primary data collection was conducted with 385 respondents consisting of employees and strategic stakeholders involved in the transformation process at PT Telkom Indonesia using a nonprobability sampling technique with a purposive sampling method. All collected data were subsequently processed and tested using the SmartPLS version 4 analysis tool to ensure accuracy in modeling the complex relationships between the variables. The data analysis techniques utilized include descriptive statistics to provide a general overview of the data and variance-based Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the significance of relationships between latent variables within the research model. The research findings project that corporate strategy significantly and positively influences business transformation success and B2B Digital model development, while simultaneously providing a strong direct impact on strengthening the company's competitiveness at the global level. The analysis results also indicate that internal transformation effectiveness and the implementation of B2B digital solutions are primary determinants capable of substantially enhancing the company's ability to compete across borders in the digital platform era. Furthermore, the mediating roles of business transformation and B2B Digital model variables have proven to be crucial in reinforcing the link between corporate strategic orientation and the achievement of sustainable international competitive advantage. Overall, this study provides an empirical foundation regarding the importance of precise resource orchestration for Telkom Indonesia to realize its vision as a preferred digital telco capable of winning competition in international markets.

CIVIL-MILITARY CORRIDOR RESILIENCE MODEL FOR INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT IN INDONESIA’S OUTERMOST BORDER ISLAND: EVIDENCE FROM MIANGAS ISLAND

Abstract: Infrastructure management in outermost border islands is not only a matter of physical development, but also a strategic issue related to sovereignty, community welfare, connectivity and national defence. This article examines… amines infrastructure management on Miangas Island, one of Indonesia’s northernmost outer islands bordering the Philippines. Although Miangas already has several basic and strategic infrastructures, including roads, an airport, a port, electricity facilities, clean water sources, telecommunications, health facilities and security infrastructure, these assets have not yet functioned as an integrated and reliable system. The main problem is therefore not the absence of infrastructure, but the gap between physical availability and functional performance. This study uses a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach based on field observation, semi-structured interviews and document review. Data were analysed using the Miles and Huberman model, supported by STEEP+M and SWOT analysis. The findings show that infrastructure management in Miangas is influenced by three main indicators: infrastructure availability and quality, connectivity and accessibility, and infrastructure sustainability. Internally, Miangas has strengths in its strategic geography, existing infrastructure assets, state institutional presence, social cohesion and strong national identity. However, these strengths are constrained by weak service quality, limited maintenance, unstable connectivity, a fragile local economy and inadequate maritime surveillance. Externally, Miangas benefits from national legal support, strategic policy status and Indonesia–Philippines cooperation, but faces threats from cross-border dependence, illegal fishing, border violations, environmental pressure and geopolitical sensitivity. The SWOT analysis places Miangas in the WO quadrant, meaning that external opportunities should first be used to overcome internal weaknesses. This article proposes the Civil-Military Corridor Resilience Model as an integrated framework that connects public services, logistics, energy, local markets, maritime security and territorial defence in one border resilience system.

THE UTILIZATION OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT TOOLS IN IMPROVING EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT PT TELKOM INDONESIA

Abstract: PT Telkom Indonesia, as the largest telecommunications company in Indonesia, has implemented Jira within its Digital Business and Technology Division as a primary project management tool to support collaboration, task organization,… ganization, and project monitoring. This study focuses on three key independent variables individual competence, organizational culture, and training and development which are considered essential elements in improving human resource quality. These factors directly influence team capability as a mediating variable, which in turn affects employee performance as the dependent variable. The research was conducted through a survey of 146 respondents from the Digital Business and Technology Division of PT Telkom Indonesia. The findings are expected to provide strategic insights for optimizing the use of project management tools to enhance employee performance, ensuring that their implementation aligns with team characteristics, organizational culture, and technical readiness.

INFLUENCE OF THE DIGITAL ECONOMY ON ECONOMIC GROWTH IN INDONESIA

Based on these, digital business has great potential to drive economic growth.Digitalization is an interesting topic to research in encouraging technological progress and stimulating economic growth. Economic activities nowadays cannot be separated from the use of information & communication technology through telecommunications networks and the use of internet by conducting e-business transactions. E-business or digital business is a projection of new talents that can inspire competitiveness. Digital business is currently growing rapidly around the world, including Indonesia, proven by the increasing number of internet users. The Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) announced that the number of Indonesian internet users in 2024 reached 221,563,479 people from a total population of 278,696,200 people in Indonesia in 2023. This condition is also followed by the increasing number of e-commerce users in Indonesia which has continued to increase since 2020, until in 2023 the number of e-commerce users in Indonesia is 58.63 million users. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research, a method that been used by researchers through a literature study approach and analyzing all information regarding the research topic. This research intends to find out how does the impact of digital business on Indonesian economy. The results show that digitalization has changed many aspects of Indonesian society, including the economy. The development of technological advances and digitalization give  positive impact on Indonesia's economic growth.

Analisis Visual Pengaruh Noise Terhadap Kualitas Sinyal Analog dan Digital Menggunakan Software Audio

Abstract: Signal interference or noise is one of the main problems in data transmission that can reduce information quality in both analog and digital systems. This study aims to visually analyze the effects of noise using audio software.… oftware. The method used is simulation-based, where a pure signal is used as an initial reference before being subjected to various levels of interference. The analysis results show that in analog signals, noise causes permanent waveform distortion that is difficult to recover. In contrast, digital signals tend to maintain data integrity as long as the interference does not exceed a certain threshold. These differences in signal characteristics can be visually observed through waveform displays in the software. The results indicate that digital systems have advantages in maintaining signal quality in noisy environments and have the potential to be used as educational media for basic telecommunication and signal processing studies.

Pengenalan Teknologi OLT Dalam Optimasi Manajemen Jaringan Bagi Siswa SMK N 1 BP Mandoge

Abstract: Abstract: This community service activity aims to introduce Optical Line Terminal (OLT) technology as the main device in GPON-based Fiber to the Home (FTTH) access networks to students of SMK Negeri 1 BP Mandoge in order… to improve their technical understanding regarding fiber optic network management. The main problem faced is the limited knowledge of students regarding optical access network architecture, OLT-ONU communication mechanisms, and service and bandwidth management. The methods used include observation, interviews, direct practice, and question and answer sessions. The practical activities focused on introducing OLT device architecture, basic GPON concepts, logical port configuration, service VLAN management, and network performance monitoring. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' technical understanding of fiber optic network operation and management. This activity supports the improvement of student competencies according to the needs of the telecommunications industry. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan pengetahuan siswa mengenai arsitektur jaringan akses optik, mekanisme komunikasi OLT–ONU, serta pengelolaan layanan dan bandwidth. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, praktik langsung, dan sesi tanya jawab. Kegiatan praktik difokuskan pada pengenalan arsitektur perangkat OLT, konsep dasar GPON, konfigurasi logis port, pengelolaan VLAN layanan, serta monitoring kinerja jaringan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman teknis siswa terhadap pengoperasian dan manajemen jaringan serat optik. OPTIMIZATION OF DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM (DSS) CUSTOMER SERVICE OF TELECOMMUNICATION COMPANIES WITH MOORA METHOD

Abstract: Abstract: Decision Support System (DSS) in telekomunication company service is the key to improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This study aims to assess and select the optional customer service strategy&#8230; ategy using the Mutly Objective Optimization on The Basic of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method. This approach is used to analyze various indicators such as respon time, complaint resolution, service cost and costomer satisfaction to find the most efficient solution. The research finding indicate that the MOORA method can provide from the calculation results, it was found that the age range <25 years was ranked first as users who felt satisfied with Product Quality, Price, Service Quality, and the most telecommunications users and the second rank was the age range 25-35 years, the third rank was the age range 36-45 years, the fourth rank was the age range >45 years. The implementation of DSS strengthened by MOORA is expected to improve the quality of service and competitiveness of companies in the competitive telecomunication industry.  Keywords: customer service; DSS; MOORA; telecomunication; optimization    Abstrak: Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (DSS) dalam layanan perusahaan telekomunikasi merupakan kunci untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan dan efisiensi operasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai dan memilih strategi layanan pelanggan opsional dengan menggunakan metode Mutly Objective Optimization on The Basic of Ratio Analysis (MOORA). Pendekatan ini digunakan untuk menganalisis berbagai indikator seperti waktu respons, penyelesaian keluhan, biaya layanan dan kepuasan pelanggan untuk menemukan solusi yang paling efisien. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode MOORA dapat memberikan Dari hasil perhitungan, ditemukan bahwa rentang usia <25 tahun menduduki peringkat pertama sebagai pengguna yang merasa puas terhadap Kualitas Produk, Harga, Kualitas Layanan, dan pengguna telekomunikasi terbanyak dan peringkat kedua adalah rentang usia 25-35 tahun, peringkat ketiga adalah rentang usia 36-45 tahun, peringkat keempat adalah rentang usia >45 tahun. RECOMMENDATION FOR THE BEST GAMING PHONE USING THE WEIGHT PRODUCT METHOD

Abstract: Abstract: Mobile phones, as essential telecommunication devices today, are equipped with numerous features. The plethora of mobile phone models, especially gaming phones, requires consumers to be discerning in choosing a&#8230; phone for everyday use. The problem is that many consumers do not understand how to purchase a phone that meets their specific criteria. The specifications that must be considered when selecting a gaming phone that fits within a budget and meets criteria include performance or specifications, screen quality, battery life, RAM, network connectivity, and price. A decision support system is a part of information systems designed to facilitate decision-making processes based on data or common everyday problems. The Weighted Product (WP) method is typically used in decision-making that involves multiple criteria to be considered simultaneously. Based on the WP method calculations, it was found that the recommended smartphone alternative is determined by the highest vector value (V) ranking according to user-defined criteria. The analysis results indicate that the recommended smartphone alternative is Alternative 1 with a score of 0.376, which is the Infinix GT 10 Pro, due to its comparable specifications to other models but with a more affordable price." Keywords: decision support systems ; gaming cellphone; recommendation   Abstrak: Handphone sebagai perangkat telekomunikasi yang menjadi kebutuhan utama saat ini sudah dilengkapi dengan banyak fitur. Banyaknya keluaran jenis handphone khususnya handphone untuk game membuat konsumen harus pintar memilih handphone yang dapat digunakan setiap harinya Permasalahannya adalah konsumen banyak yang tidak paham bagaimana membeli handphone sesuai kriteria yang cocok. Adapun spesifikasi yang harus di saat akan memilih jenis handphone game yang sesuai dengan budget dan kriteria diantaranya adalah perfoma atau spesifikasi, tingkat kualitas layar, daya tahan batrai, RAM, koneksi jaringan, dan harga. Sistem pendukung keputusan merupakan bagian dari sistem informasi yang digunakan untuk memudahkan proses pengambilan keputusan berdasarkan data atau permasalahan yang sering ditemui dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Metode Weighted Product umumnya digunakan dalam pengambilan keputusan yang melibatkan banyak kriteria yang harus dipertimbangkan secara bersamaan. Berdasarkan proses perhitungan dengan metode WP maka didapatkan bahwa alternatif smartphone yang direkomendasikan untuk dipilih adalah smartphone yang ditentukan berdasarkan peringkat nilai vektor (V) tertinggi sesuai dengan kriteria yang ditetapkan oleh pengguna. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa alternatif smartphone yang direkomendasikan adalah Alternatif 1 dengan skor 0.376, yaitu Infinix GT 10 Pro karena memiliki spesifikasi yang hampir setara dengan yang lain namun dengan harga yang lebih terjangkau.
