K. Brantakesuma, Rasikhansa, Rosalina
Abstract: This study investigates the influence of attention-seeking behavior and loneliness on problematic social media use among early adults who are active social media users in the Jabodetabek area. A total of 201 participants… were selected through self-selected surveys. The instruments used include the Bergen Social Media Addiction Scale (BSMAS) for measuring problematic social media use, the Attention-Seeking Scale for assessing attention-seeking behavior, and the UCLA Loneliness Scale version 3 for evaluating loneliness. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that attention-seeking behavior and loneliness have a significant impact on problematic social media use, with an R² of 0.661, indicating a 66.1% contribution. The data analysis showed that attention-seeking behavior (p-value < 0.001, t = 8.185) and loneliness (p-value < 0.001, t = 6.086) both significantly influence problematic social media use. In conclusion, both attention-seeking behavior and loneliness significantly contribute to problematic social media use among early adults in Jabodetabek.

Adiba, Fairuz Raniah Adiba Putri, Kurniawati, Dewi, Nurbani, Nurbani
Abstract: This study analyzes the construction of traumatic marriage reality in early adulthood in Medan City following parental divorce, focusing on intrapersonal communication. The research also explores the forms of traumatic marriage… arriage experiences in this context. The study employs the theories of reality construction, family communication, intrapersonal and interpersonal communication, reasoned action, social judgment, trauma, marriage, divorce, and early adulthood. Using a constructivist paradigm and qualitative descriptive method, the study involved five informants: two aged 24, two aged 25, and one aged 19. The results reveal that four informants construct marriage as complex, burdensome, and not a life goal, while one informant shifted from subjective to objective reality, viewing marriage as a source of happiness and a life goal. Three informants experienced complex marriage trauma, while two experienced simple trauma. Interestingly, not all informants with negative marriage constructions experienced complex trauma. Specifically, informants NA, AAP, and AN had negative constructions with complex trauma; informant VWY had negative constructions with simple trauma; and informant HS had a positive construction with simple trauma. This study highlights the diverse ways early adults in Medan City construct and experience the reality of marriage after parental divorce.

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE LEVEL OF CIGARETTE SMOKE EXPOSURE AND SERUM TRIGLYCERIDE LEVELS AMONG STUDENTS

Al-Jufri, Muhammad Sony, Dewi, Yulia Ratna, Maulani, Yulita
Abstract: Cigarette smoke exposure is a significant health threat that may trigger lipid metabolism disorders, particularly by increasing serum triglyceride levels through nicotine-stimulated production of Very Low-Density Lipoprotein… tein (VLDL). This study aimed to analyze the correlation between cigarette smoke exposure levels and serum triglyceride levels in students to identify cardiovascular risks among the productive age group. This study employed an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 83 participants were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Participants' levels of exposure to cigarette smoke were assessed, and their serum triglyceride levels were analyzed using the GPO-PAP enzymatic method. Statistical analysis was performed to determine the significance of the association between smoke exposure levels and serum triglyceride levels. The findings indicate no statistically significant correlation between the level of cigarette smoke exposure and serum triglyceride levels among the study participants (Spearman's rho, p = 0.882). Most participants were classified as having mild cigarette smoke exposure and exhibited serum triglyceride levels within the normal reference range. Furthermore, the relatively homogeneous exposure levels and the young age of the participants may have contributed to the limited variability observed in the study. In conclusion, mild cigarette smoke exposure was not significantly associated with serum triglyceride levels among young adults.

INCLUSIVE CARE MODELS ELDERLY HEALTHCARE: A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW

Yulia, Rahma, Gusni
Abstract: This study applied a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to identify, appraise, and synthesize open-access empirical evidence on inclusive care models in elderly healthcare. The review followed PRISMA 2020 and searched PubMed,… bMed, Scopus, Web of Science, DOAJ, and Google Scholar for studies published between 2015 and 2025. Eligible articles were original research (quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods) focusing on service delivery or care models for older adults and explicitly addressing inclusivity, integration, person-centeredness, or collaborative care, with full-text availability in English or Indonesian. From 1,280 records, 1,010 unique articles were screened, 80 full texts were assessed, and 10 studies were included in the final synthesis. Across studies, inclusive elderly care was most consistently implemented through integrated, person-centred, team-based delivery combining comprehensive assessment, individualized care planning, coordinated follow-up, and cross-sector collaboration. Stronger benefits were typically observed among frail older adults when care intensity was aligned with comlplex needs by risk stratification and case management. Mental health integration emerged as a critical component for community-dwelling older adults, supporting the integration of psychological care into routine elderly healthcare pathways rather than parallel programs. Evidence from institutional settings indicated that partnership-based models involving nurses, caregivers, and older adults can improve functional outcomes. Overall, the findings support scaling integrated community and institutional partnership approaches, while future research should strengthen reporting on implementation fidelity, equity impacts, and cost-effectiveness to guide sustainable adoption of inclusive, gerontic-friendly care models.

CRIMINAL RESPONSIBILITY OF CHILDREN IN BRAWLS THAT RESULTED IN DEATH IN REVIEW OF LAW NUMBER 35 OF 2014 (STUDY OF DECISION PN TANJUNG KARANG NUMBER 11/PID.SUS-ANAK/2025/PN TJK)

Benny Karya Limantara, Carissa Novira Putri
Abstract: Student brawls involving children remain a recurring social phenomenon in Indonesia and frequently result in serious criminal offenses, including those causing death. Children as perpetrators of criminal acts occupy a special… ecial position within the criminal justice system; therefore, their criminal liability cannot be equated with that of adults. This study aims to analyze the criminal liability of children involved in brawls resulting in death and to examine the application of legal provisions in the Decision of the Tanjung Karang District Court based on the Child Protection Act and the Juvenile Criminal Justice System. The research employs normative juridical and empirical juridical approaches through the study of statutory regulations, analysis of court decisions, and interviews with law enforcement officers. The data were analyzed qualitatively to describe the implementation of juvenile criminal law. The findings indicate that child offenders may still be held criminally liable while observing the principle of the best interest of the child. Judges consider both juridical and non-juridical aspects, including the child’s role in the offense, age, psychological condition, and social inquiry reports, resulting in sanctions that emphasize rehabilitation rather than retribution. This study concludes that the application of juvenile criminal law in cases of brawls resulting in death is in accordance with prevailing legal provisions; however, improvements in the quality of case handling by law enforcement agencies are still necessary to ensure balanced and sustainable child protection and justice for victims.

Abstract: Clean and healthy community that must be practiced continuously so that it becomes a habitual pattern. Living a clean and healthy lifestyle must be done wherever we are. Moreover, nowadays, children living behavior (PHBS)… ) is an action or activity carried out by a person or are lazy about maintaining cleanliness, for example washing their hands before eating, brushing their teeth before sleeping and so on. Children have more potential to imitate adult behavior, rather than carrying out commands (voices) or instructions from adults. Adults must practice clean and healthy living behavior continuously (consistent) and correctly, both at home and outside the home. That way, children will have a pattern of clean and healthy living behavior that will be practiced throughout their lives. The problem with students at SDN 106168 is that there are still students who snack randomly, throw rubbish out of place, during breaks students play under the hot sun so they sweat and smell like sweat, and they don't wash their hands after playing or doing activities outside the classroom. Thus, we as proponents want to provide socialization activities on the benefits and disadvantages of clean and healthy living behavior efforts. It is hoped that this activity can provide benefits for students in increasing their enthusiasm for learning.
