Abstract:This study aims to understand the communication used by the leader, describe employee work discipline, and analyse the leadership communication strategy used to improve work discipline at the Somolo-Molo District Office.…
A descriptive qualitative case-study design was employed. Seven informants were selected purposively: one key informant (the District Head), two main informants (the District Secretary and the Head of General Affairs Subdivision), and four supporting informants (employees/staff). Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation and analysed through data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing, and verification. The findings show that leadership communication is open and two-way and combines meetings, assemblies, direct communication, letters/dispositions, digital media, and informal communication. Work discipline is categorised as fairly good but not yet fully consistent. In measurable qualitative terms, all seven informants described attendance as generally maintained, while all seven also identified occasional lateness and the need for stronger consistency; effective use of working hours, leave/out-of-office reporting, and completion of some tasks still require reminders. Leadership communication is implemented through informative, persuasive, educational, repetitive, role-modelling, personal coaching, supervision, gradual reprimand, proportionate firmness, evaluation, and positive reinforcement approaches. Identified improvements include better punctuality, more orderly absence reporting, more effective use of working hours, and faster task completion. Sustainable discipline requires consistent rule enforcement, routine briefings, documented follow-up, multichannel communication, and exemplary conduct across all levels of leadership.
Abstract:This study aims to explore and understand the dynamics of community participation in the village development planning process (Musrenbangdes) in Tambayoli Village, Soyo Jaya District, North Morowali Regency. Using a qualitative…
itative approach, data were collected through purposive sampling, open data collection methods, and analysis of both textual and visual materials. The primary methods of data collection included participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document review. The findings reveal that, although some awareness of Musrenbangdes has been achieved through existing announcement systems, the overall effectiveness of community participation remains limited. Many residents perceive the process as a formality, with decisions dominated by specific stakeholders, leading to low levels of trust and engagement. The study identifies significant barriers to active participation, such as inadequate information dissemination, lack of transparency, and limited involvement in both the implementation and benefit-sharing of development projects. The research suggests that for Musrenbangdes to be more effective, there needs to be a concerted effort to enhance transparency, ensure equitable information distribution, and create a more inclusive participatory framework. These findings have implications for improving governance and promoting sustainable development at the village level.

elated to preventive, repressive, rehabilitative, and reintegrative efforts. The aim of this research is to analyze the Implementation of the Coastal Community Empowerment Program in Labean Village. This study utilized a qualitative approach with data collection techniques involving interviews, observations, and documentation with stakeholders such as the Social Affairs Office, village heads, community leaders, and related institutions to assess the strategies and evaluations conducted. The research findings show that communication strategies through direct meetings, print media, and social media have been successful in disseminating program information. Collaborations with village heads, community leaders, and a well-organized bureaucratic structure demonstrate strong efforts in supporting the program. However, the evaluation of concrete actions by the Social Affairs Office concerning preventive, repressive, rehabilitative, and reintegrative efforts needs further attention. In conclusion, there is a need for a focus on evaluating concrete actions and improvements in social evaluation strategies to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of the Coastal Community Empowerment Program in Labean Village.
Abstract:This study aims to improve children's singing ability through the use of video-based learning in second-grade students at SDN 6 Kabila, Bone Bolango Regency. The research problem identified was the low singing ability of…
students due to the lack of engaging learning media. Video-based learning was employed to help students understand pitch, rhythm, and lyrics, thereby enhancing their confidence, interest, and singing skills in music education. This study adopted a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design following the Kemmis and McTaggart spiral model, conducted in two cycles (Cycle I with two meetings and Cycle II with one meeting). The subjects were 21 second-grade students (9 males and 12 females). Data collection techniques included observation, tests (performance assessments), interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively to determine improvements in students' singing ability across four indicators: pitch accuracy, rhythmic accuracy, lyric mastery, and expression with self-confidence. The results showed that students' initial singing ability was low, with only 28% achieving the minimum mastery criterion (KKM). After implementing video-based learning, students' mastery increased to 43% in Cycle I Meeting I, 62% in Cycle I Meeting II, and 90% in Cycle II Meeting I. Teacher activity improved from 60% (adequate) to 96% (excellent), and student activity increased from 59% (adequate) to 96% (excellent). These findings demonstrate that video-based learning effectively improves children's singing ability, confidence, and active participation in music education at the elementary school level.

Abstract:This study aims to analyze the impact of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on tax aggressiveness in mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). A quantitative approach was used in this research, with secondary…
ondary data obtained from financial statements and annual reports of companies over a certain period. The results show that GCG, particularly independent board commissioners and the frequency of board meetings, has a negative and significant impact on tax aggressiveness. However, the influence of the audit committee and the nomination and remuneration committee on tax aggressiveness is not significant. These findings underscore the importance of stronger GCG implementation to reduce risks associated with corporate tax policies. This study provides important implications for companies and regulators in enhancing effective corporate governance to reduce tax aggressiveness in the mining sector.
Abstract:Fernando BSM U-19 players continue to experience confusion in implementing defensive collaboration, which hinders their ability to execute defensive strategies effectively. This coaching clinic activity aims to facilitate…
e coaches and players in understanding, implementing, and developing defensive system patterns, particularly mixed defense patterns in futsal. This community service was carried out through three meetings, beginning with a pre-test in the form of a questionnaire containing 15 questions regarding defensive pattern strategies. After the coaching clinic, a similar questionnaire was administered again as a post-test. The results of the activity showed an increase in understanding of up to 80% among players and coaches after participating in the training. This finding confirms that the coaching clinic method is able to deliver material systematically and easily understood, so it can be an effective alternative strategy in improving the understanding of defensive tactics in futsal.

Abstract:This research examines how decentralization policy in Indonesia shapes public administration strategies in tourism destination development across two major cities in West Sumatera: Padang City and Bukittinggi City, which…
possess distinct geographical characteristics, governmental structures, and fiscal capacities. Through a comparative literature study finds that Padang City adopts a coastal modernization strategy oriented toward infrastructure and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions), whereas Bukittinggi City develops a heritage conservation and community based governance approach. Decentralizations demonstrates a characteristics of asymmetrical governance, where fiscal capacity and geographical context significantly determine the local government’s ability to formulate tourism strategies. This study contributes to the theory of destination governance and decentralizations by ooffering the perspective that regional autonomy does not automatically enhance policy effectiveness: rather, it must be supported by institutional capacity, collaboration, and policy fit with the unique characteristics of the tourist destination.
