Abstract: Changes resulting from the learning process can be seen in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The aim of this research is to determine differences in learning outcomes for the subthemes of plant growth and… d development through the Problem-Based Learning and Discovery Learning models. This research was carried out at Ciasmara 01 State Elementary School, Bogor Regency, Class IV A, and IV B in November, the odd semester. The research instrument uses pretest and posttest instruments which produce an N-Gain calculation for the Project Based Learning model of 80 with high criteria and an N-Gain value for the Problem Based Learning model of 73 with very high criteria. So the N-Gain in the experimental class with the Problem Based Learning model is greater than the control class with the Discovery Learning model. The researcher also carried out a normality test with the Lilliefors test for both samples having a normal distribution because the values for both samples were smaller than the L table. In the Problem-Based Learning class group, the value Lcount ≤ Ltable was obtained, namely 0.028 ≤ 0.189, and in the discovery learning class group, the value Lcount ≤ Ltable was obtained, namely 0.041 ≤ 0.189. Then, in the homogeneity test, the data is homogeneous because it is smaller than X2table, a value of 0.75 ≤ 5.991 is obtained. Furthermore, in the hypothesis test, the count of 7.29 was greater than the table of 2.01808, indicating that H0 (null hypothesis) was rejected and Ha (alternative hypothesis) was accepted. Based on the research results above, it can be stated that the problem-based learning and discovery learning models have differences in learning outcomes for the sub-theme of gratitude for diversity, in other words, the problem-based learning model is more effective than the discovery learning model for the sub-theme of gratitude for diversity.

Legal Regulation Prevention Of Child Marriage: The Perspective Of Lawrence M. Friedman and Sadd al-Dzarīʿah's Legal System

Aisyatul Azizah, Sudirman Sudirman, Isroqunnajah Isroqunnajah
Abstract: This study examines the effectiveness of regulations preventing child marriage in the city of Surabaya after the enactment of Law No. 16 of 2019, which raised the minimum age for marriage to 19 years, but still allows for… r marriage dispensations through Article 7 paragraph (2). This normative loophole raises academic questions about how the law works in social reality and how preventive measures can be institutionalized. This study aims to assess the implementation of regional policies, particularly Perwali No. 32 of 2024, and to examine the practices of religious courts in deciding on marriage dispensations using Lawrence M. Friedman's Legal System Theory and the principle of Sadd al-Dzarīʿah as analytical tools. Empirical research methods were used through interviews, observations, documentation, and qualitative analysis of two cases of marriage dispensation that were rejected and granted. The results of the study show that the significant decrease in the number of marriage dispensations in Surabaya occurred due to the synergy of the legal structure (Religious Court, DP3APPKB, Ministry of Religious Affairs, RT/RW), legal substance through the Perwali which tightened procedures, and changes in the legal culture of society. The courts applied new standards that are more protective and based on maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah , making marriage dispensations an emergency mechanism rather than a legalization of child marriage. This study provides theoretical implications in the form of an integrative model between maqāṣid and the modern legal system, as well as practical implications in the form of recommendations to replicate the Surabaya model in other regions in an effort to protect children.

Does Company Size and Profitability Matter? Investigating the Moderating Effects of Growth in Cash Flow on Stock Performance

Agus Fuadi, Dian Sulistyorini Wulandari, Fedia Chairunnisa
Abstract: This research examines the intricate relationships between company size, growth in cash flow, and stock performance, revealing complexities that challenge traditional financial analysis. While company size is often associated… iated with stable stock performance due to advantages such as economies of scale and market power, the findings indicate that size alone does not positively impact stock performance. Furthermore, the study demonstrates that growth in cash flow does not significantly moderate the relationship between company size and stock performance. This suggests that external factors, such as regulatory changes or market sentiment, may play a more decisive role. The results underscore that cash flow, while an important indicator of financial health, does not enhance the influence of company size on stock performance, particularly in certain industries where external conditions prevail. This underscores the need for a more comprehensive evaluation approach that considers a broader range of factors when assessing stock performance. It's time to move beyond traditional metrics like profitability and cash flow growth and equip ourselves with a more robust set of tools for analysis. Ultimately, this research advocates for a multifactorial approach to stock performance evaluation, emphasizing the importance of understanding the interplay between various variables, including industry trends and macroeconomic conditions. By adopting this comprehensive perspective, investors and analysts can make more informed decisions and strategies, enhancing their ability to navigate the complexities of the financial markets.
