ing approaches tend to be ineffective in addressing these issues. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in enhancing students’ cognitive abilities in learning Physics through a meta-analysis. The PBL model emphasizes student-centered learning, where students are invited to solve real and relevant problems, thus increasing engagement and deeper conceptual understanding. Data were collected from 20 research articles published between 2017 and 2024, which discuss students’ cognitive abilities and the PBL approach. The meta-analysis results show that PBL has a significant effect on improving students’ cognitive abilities in Physics, with 13 articles showing high effect sizes, 3 articles moderate effect sizes, and 4 articles low effect sizes. PBL has proven effective in developing students’ critical, creative, and analytical thinking skills. Additionally, PBL enhances students’ active participation in the learning process and facilitates the understanding and application of Physics concepts in various practical situations. This study asserts that PBL is an effective method for improving students’ cognitive abilities in learning Physics at the high school level, by fostering critical thinking, communication, and practical knowledge application skills. These findings underscore the importance of using innovative learning models such as PBL to advance Physics education and improve student learning outcomes.

The purpose of writing this literature review is none other than to explain in detail the development of individuals in facing developments in science, which has so far become a topic of discussion in the world of education. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, namely research in the form of a literature study which aims to analyze, evaluate, identify, observe, find and determine relevant research topics. The results of data analysis conclude that science and technology are human achievements that must be utilized in understanding and practicing something. In line with this principle, science is actually a process experienced by individuals in their development. The poorer the knowledge, the narrower the insight in understanding something, the narrower a person's thinking about a science. In conclusion, development is a skill in the structure and function of the body or an increase in more complex abilities in a regular and predictable pattern as a result of experience and the maturation process. Development is also very closely related to social, motor, intellectual and emotional abilities. So it becomes very necessary how a learning design is formed to provide freedom to be creative on an ongoing basis in order to optimize and develop students work.

This research uses qualitative methods with a literature approach in the form of laws, government regulations, articles and books that are relevant to the research topic. This research aims to provide an understanding of the importance of registering Intellectual Property Rights for creative industry to ensure the law protection of the intellectual property that has been created. The research results show that every creative industry player needs to register copyrighted works with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property. Apart from that, synergy is needed between the Government and the public in increasing awareness of creators or creative industry players to register copyrighted works as Intellectual Property Rights through regulations and facilities provided by the authorized government institution, namely the Directorate General of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Law and Rights. Structuralism is a perspective that underlines analysis of structures in English language, especially through English literary works. It is also known that structure in English language is meant to be universal rather than particular. Through an exploratory approach within qualitative research, this manuscript underscores structuralism as a way to identify aspects of literature regarding training of writing couplets. Couplet is a work that pays attention to pouring imaginations from the authors’ mind towards a structured sense of lyrical poem. Though the ideas come from various authors’ imaginations, this kind of literature and its writing process may still open to various possibilities in advance. In conclusion, the training of writing couplets is essential not only to give knowledge about patterns of poems in English literature, but also to get it in line with students’ everyday experience and imaginations.

Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi komunikasi kini tak hanya digunakan oleh invidu tetapi juga dimanfaatkan oleh instansi pemerintahan maupun swasta. STMIK Royal sebagai perguruan tinggi yang ada di kisaran juga menggunakan teknologi komunikasi seperti media sosial dan website untuk menyampaikan informasi kepada mahasiswa dan masyarakat luas. STMIK Royal khususnya Media dan Informasi merupakan lembaga yang bertanggung jawab atas konten yang digunakan sebagai publikasi kampus, dan untuk memaksimalkan publikasi ini maka Media dan Informasi membutuhkan Critical Path Method dalam memanajemen konten. Critical Path Method merupakan salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan pada aplikasi manajemen konten karena metode ini berorientasi pada waktu dengan menganalisis kegiatan-kegiatan yang akan dijadikan prioritas untuk dikerjakan. limited, particularly in optimizing the potential of local plants available around students. This community service activity aims to implement the ecoprint pounding technique with students at Alam Leuser Middle School. The approach used included counseling, simulation, training, and evaluation. The counseling provided basic knowledge of the ecoprint method. The results showed that participants successfully implemented the pounding technique using local leaves and plants. The resulting ecoprints have the potential to become superior products. Local plants that produce the sharpest patterns include Centrosema pubescens, Carica papaya leaves, Ricinus communis L., Cosmos sulphureus, and Pinus. However, further training and intensive mentoring are still needed to improve product quality. This activity is expected to increase students' creativity in using environmental resources as learning tools. This activity introduces simple and easily marketable creative economic ideas. In addition, this activity raises students' awareness of the use of natural materials in textile arts, thereby supporting environmental conservation.

Abstrak: Ecoprint merupakan teknik pewarnaan kain ramah lingkungan yang memanfaatkan pigmen alami dari tumbuhan. Namun, pemanfaatan teknik ini sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan di sekolah masih terbatas, khususnya dalam mengoptimalkan potensi tumbuhan lokal yang tersedia di sekitar peserta didik. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan teknik menumbuk ecoprint dengan siswa di SMP Alam Leuser. Pendekatan yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan, simulasi, pelatihan, dan evaluasi. Penyuluhan memberikan pengetahuan dasar tentang metode ecoprint. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa peserta berhasil melakukan teknik menumbuk menggunakan daun dan tumbuhan lokal. Ecoprint yang dihasilkan berpotensi menjadi produk unggulan. Tumbuhan lokal yang menghasilkan pola paling tajam antara lain Centrosema pubescens, daun Carica papaya, Ricinus communis L, Cosmos sulphureus dan Pinus. Namun, pelatihan lebih lanjut dan pendampingan intensif masih diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dalam menggunakan sumber daya lingkungan sebagai alat pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini memperkenalkan ide-ide ekonomi kreatif yang sederhana dan mudah dipasarkan. Selain itu, kegiatan ini meningkatkan kesadaran siswa tentang penggunaan bahan alami dalam seni tekstil, sehingga mendukung konservasi lingkungan.

This application enables MSMEs to store and manage archives in a systematic, secure, and efficient manner. The implementation method of this community service consisted of training activities using approaches such as socialization, technical training, and direct field assistance. Silau Bonto Village, located in Asahan Regency, has a significant number of MSME practitioners, many of whom have never used digital data archiving systems. To address this issue, an archive management application that utilizes a database system was introduced, specifically using a Macro VBA-based application aimed at helping MSMEs manage their archives more quickly and neatly.

Abstrak: Di Desa Silo Bonto, UMKM yang paling terdampak adalah sektor kuliner dan kerajinan tangan, yang memiliki intensitas transaksi harian cukup tinggi namun masih dilakukan tanpa sistem digital yang memadai. Melalui kegiatan ini, tim pengabdian memperkenalkan dan melatih pelaku UMKM menggunakan aplikasi manajemen arsip berbasis digital yang mudah dioperasikan. Aplikasi ini memungkinkan pelaku UMKM untuk meyimpan, dan mengelola arsip secara sistematis, aman, dan efisien. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah dalam bentuk pelatihan dan pendekatan yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, dan pendampingan langsung di lapangan. Desa Silau Bonto adalah desa yang ada di Kabupaten Asahan yang saat ini masyarakatnya sudah banyak sebagai pelaku UMKM, namun tidak sedikit masyarakat pelaku UMKM yang sama sekali belum menggunakan arsip data secara digital. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut diperlukan aplikasi manajemen arsip data yang proses penyimpanannya menggunakan database yaitu dengan menggunakan aplikasi macro VBA dengan tujuan dapat membantu para pelaku UMKM dalam pengelolaan arsip menjadi lebih cepat dan rapi.

racter learning approaches can lead to a lack of effectiveness in the formation of students' personalities to think logically, critically and innovatively. Therefore, the implementation of creative-educative programmes as an effort to strengthen students' character through innovative and enjoyable activities. This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of the creative-educative program in strengthening student character at SMPN 3 Slahung, Ponorogo. The research method employed is qualitative research with a post-positivism paradigm on students. The approach in this research employs an interpersonal approach to be able to meet face-to-face directly with students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation to obtain an in-depth description of the implementation of the programme. The findings of this study show that the creative-educative program at SMPN 3 Slahung, Ponorogo is able to significantly improve students' discipline, responsibility and literacy attitude to be able to internalise moral values, especially in the fields of fiqh and tahfidz al-Qur'an. This confirms that the creative-educative approach can be an effective model for character learning in junior secondary schools.

Abstrak: SMPN 3 Slahung Ponorogo menghadapi tantangan utama dalam penerapan karakter, terutama terkait mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai moral dengan metode pembelajaran yang menarik bagi siswa. Kurangnya inovasi dalam pendekatan pembelajaran karakter dapat menyebabkan kurangnya efektivitas dalam pembentukan kepribadian siswa untuk berpikir secara logis, kritis dan inovatif. Oleh karena itu, penerapan program kreatif-edukatif sebagai upaya untuk memperkuat karakter siswa melalui kegiatan yang inovatif dan menyenangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas program kreatif-edukatif dalam penguatan karakter siswa di SMPN 3 Slahung, Ponorogo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan paradigma post-positivisme pada siswa. Adapun pendekatan pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan interpersonal untuk dapat bertatap muka secara langsung bersama siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi guna memperoleh gambaran mendalam mengenai implementasi program tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa program kreatif-edukatif di SMPN 3 Slahung, Ponorogo mampu meningkatkan disiplin,tanggung jawab dan sikap berliterasi siswa secara signifikan untuk dapat menginternalisasi nilai-nilai moral khususnya bidang fiqh dan tahfidz al-Qur’an.
