Abstract:This study aims to construct an integrated constellation model and determine optimal strategies for reinforcing lecturers’ professional commitment at leading private universities in Bogor. Utilizing the POP-SDM (Modeling…
ng and Optimization of Management Resources) framework, the research integrates elements of local wisdom and organizational support within a systemic approach to human resource development. The exploratory qualitative phase involved in-depth interviews and focus group discussions to uncover major determinants influencing professional commitment. From the thematic analysis, four principal variables emerged—teamwork, organizational climate, religiosity, and work motivation—which were validated through expert judgment. Quantitative verification was subsequently performed using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique to examine both direct and indirect relationships among constructs. The analysis confirmed that all variables exert positive and significant effects on lecturers’ professional commitment, with work motivation being the most dominant factor. To refine improvement priorities, the SITOREM (Scientific Identification Theory for Conducting Operational Research in Educational Management) method was applied, identifying indicators that should be improved, maintained, or further developed. The findings offer empirical and practical insights, including: (1) a validated POP-SDM–based commitment model combining cultural and organizational dimensions; (2) evidence-based strategies to enhance lecturer professionalism; and (3) an optimization framework to guide sustainable lecturer development in higher education institutions.

Industrial expansion's direct and indirect effects on job creation, economic diversification, technological advancement, and resource distribution are all examined in this analysis. Considering the varying degrees of development and infrastructure across Indonesia's regions, the study also identifies the distinct impacts of economic disparities across these areas. The results emphasize the need for tailored policy interventions that consider regional discrepancies and foster fair economic growth post-pandemic. Contributing to the economic recovery of the nation, the study finds sectors of the Indonesian economy with potential for expansion in the post-pandemic period. Employing the shift-share analysis and qualitative descriptive method, help determine if any changes have occurred in the configuration of the economic system during the post-pandemic period. The findings indicate that each of the five provinces, namely Bali, Riau Islands, Banten, East Borneo, and Yogyakarta, possesses distinct competitive advantages that are unique to their respective regions. However, none of the industries in these five areas possesses a significant degree of expertise in any particular industry. The research also emphasizes the lack of dedicated business activities focused on a specific industry.

Abstract:Increased productivity in SMEs in terms of quality service delivery is crucial for economic growth and development. Most SMEs are bedevilled with destructive workplace deviant behaviour, particularly the incivility of owners/managers…
ners/managers and employees towards customers, which have different consequences for workplace performance parameters such as a decline in sales, low patronage, and by extension, weak gross domestic product contribution. Using the social exchange theory, this cross-sectional study examined the influence of workplace incivility on productivity among 365 owners/managers, supervisors, and employees of SMEs in the liquefied petroleum gas sub-sector in Lagos State. Stratified proportionate sampling was utilized to select the respondents. The outcomes revealed that workplace incivility in the form of rudeness, discourteous disposition, and derogatory remarks predicted productivity in terms of an interaction between customers and employees and the capacity of the service process. Also, our findings accentuated the essence of avoiding direct and indirect costs that are linked with workplace incivility. The study recommended the communal and positive interpersonal relationships between owners/managers, employees, and customers and suggested training on emotional intelligence as a panacea for behavioral responses.
