Abstract: The palm oil industry plays a strategic role in Indonesia's economy, including in Merauke Regency, which is one of the developing palm oil plantation areas in Papua. However, challenges in production efficiency, environmental… ental sustainability, and competitiveness remain obstacles in the industry's value chain. Innovation in various aspects of the value chain, such as productivity improvement through agricultural technology, processing efficiency, and product diversification based on palm oil, is a key factor in enhancing the industry's competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the role of innovation in the palm oil industry value chain in Merauke Regency by identifying the types of innovations applied and the factors that support or hinder their adoption. The research employs a qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies. The findings indicate that upstream sector innovations, such as the use of superior seedlings and digital plantation management, have improved productivity and efficiency. Meanwhile, downstream innovations in palm oil processing and value-added product diversification still face challenges, particularly in infrastructure and regulatory aspects. Abstract: Strategic planning of educational support facilities and infrastructure constitutes an essential aspect in enhancing the overall quality and efficacy of educational systems. The availability and suitability of educational… l facilities serve as critical determinants influencing the smooth execution of teaching and learning activities, as well as the attainment of long-term institutional objectives. A frequent challenge encountered by educational institutions is the discrepancy between actual needs and the allocation of facilities and infrastructure, potentially leading to resource inefficiencies and degradation of educational service quality. Hence, an in-depth investigation into comprehensive strategic planning mechanisms is imperative to support precise, data-driven decision-making processes. This study employs a literature review methodology, integrating diverse scholarly sources, including indexed international journals, academic textbooks, national education policies, and other pertinent documents, to delineate an adaptive and sustainable conceptual framework for strategic planning. The findings affirm that the strategic planning process for educational facilities and infrastructure encompasses three principal stages: (1) empirical and prospective needs analysis, taking into account learner dynamics and curricular changes; (2) budget planning prioritizing fiscal efficiency and optimal resource utilization; and (3) procurement prioritization based on urgency, relevance, and impact on educational quality enhancement. The scope of facilities and infrastructure planned includes various categories ranging from physical infrastructure, consumables, immovable assets, to modern educational technology devices. The novelty of this research lies in the development of a holistic and participatory strategic planning model that accommodates the needs of all stakeholders and adapts to the evolving global educational landscape. Practical implications of this study are anticipated to reinforce governance in the procurement of educational facilities and infrastructure, ensuring effectiveness, transparency, and sustainability, while simultaneously supporting national educational transformation toward superior quality and heightened competitiveness.

Diyah Ayu Safitriy, Yulia Paramita Rusady
Abstract: Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that occurs as a result of prolonged inadequate nutrient intake, beginning as early as the prenatal period, and leading to impaired physical growth and cognitive development in children.… hildren. This condition remains a strategic public health issue because it has direct implications for the quality of human resources and national competitiveness in the future. This study focuses on the role of the family, particularly pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers, in preventing stunting through adequate nutritional fulfillment during the first 1,000 days of life, with an emphasis on exclusive breastfeeding practices. The method employed is a conceptual review based on scientific literature and relevant health policies to analyze the relationship between early nutritional adequacy and the risk of stunting in children. The findings indicate that stunting not only results in children having a height below the age-standard norm, but also disrupts brain development, which in turn affects learning ability, productivity, creativity, and children’s readiness to face future educational and social challenges. Family-based approaches to stunting prevention have proven effective, as the family represents the primary and earliest environment for meeting children’s nutritional needs. Exclusive breastfeeding during the first six months of life emerges as a key strategy, as it optimally fulfills infants’ nutritional requirements and reduces the risk of malnutrition. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that strengthening the role of the family through nutritional education for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers is a strategic step toward sustainable stunting prevention. The novelty of this scientific work lies in its integrative emphasis on family-based approaches and the optimization of exclusive breastfeeding as a foundation for improving human resource quality from early life, encompassing not only physical, but also cognitive, emotional, and social dimensions of child development.

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of shipping cost efficiency and freight forwarder quality on export delivery performance at PT Sinar Sawit Sentosa, a palm oil exporting company facing challenges related to rising… g logistics costs and increasing demands for delivery timeliness. The research problem focuses on the extent to which shipping cost efficiency and the quality of freight forwarder services can improve export delivery performance in a measurable and sustainable manner. A quantitative approach was applied by collecting survey data from the company’s logistics managers and export managers to capture perceptions and experiences related to the research variables. Data analysis was conducted using structural equation modeling to examine the causal relationships among shipping cost efficiency, freight forwarder quality, and export delivery performance. The results indicate that shipping cost efficiency has a positive and significant effect on export delivery performance through reduced operational costs, improved logistics coordination, and smoother export processes. Freight forwarder quality is also proven to have a positive and significant effect through enhanced service reliability, documentation accuracy, and delivery timeliness. The conclusion confirms that the combination of cost efficiency and logistics service quality constitutes a strategic factor determining the success of corporate export delivery. The novelty of this study lies in integrating the measurement of cost efficiency and freight forwarder quality using a SEM approach applied to the Indonesian palm oil export industry, a context that has received limited empirical attention. This contribution provides empirical evidence for the development of export logistics management and strategic decision-making, enriches the academic logistics literature, and offers practical implications for improving national export competitiveness, formulating corporate policies, and managing long-term logistics partnerships based on measurable performance and efficiency orientation. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for future research and professional practice in agribusiness sectors oriented toward global markets with high logistics risks and intense competition that demand continuous, data-driven managerial innovation grounded in reliable and context-specific empirical evidence for the future of national industries.
