Marketing Performance of Pomelo Oranges in Padang Lampe Village, Ma'rang District, Pangkajene Kepulauan Regency

Abstract: This study aims to determine the pattern of marketing channels and analyze the costs, margins profits, and economic efficiency of each pomelo orange marketing channel in Padang Lampe Village, Ma'rang District, Pangkep Regency.… gency. A sampling of producers was carried out by Simple Random Sampling while marketing institution samples using the tracing method or (snowball sampling) namely by tracing sales and purchases of pomelo oranges from producers to consumers. The results of the study showed that there are two types of marketing channels in Padang Lampe Village, Ma'rang District, Pangkep Regency, namely, channel I: Farmers--------Collectors --------- Inter-Island Traders ----------- Retailers --------------- Consumers. Furthermore, Marketing Channel II is from Farmers ----------- Retailers ----------- Consumers. In Marketing Channel I, the total marketing cost is IDR 25,660,000/7500 pomelo fruits, the total marketing margin is IDR 78,750,000/7500 fruits, and the total marketing profit is IDR 46,790,000. In Marketing Channel II, the total marketing cost is IDR 1,175,000/300 fruits, the marketing margin is IDR 2,250,000 and the total marketing profit is IDR 1,075,000. Marketing Channel II is the most efficient pomelo marketing channel because it has the lowest marketing margin, which is IDR. 2,250,000/300 pieces and has the highest Farmer's Share value, namely 57.14%.

Marketing Strategy For Micro Small To Medium Enterprises at 777 Sweet Fruit Shops in Gowa District

Abstract: The growth of MSMEs is increasingly widespread, especially the 777 fruit sweet shop business which markets various kinds of fruit, both local and imported. In the current era, MSME players should be able to utilize digital… al media to market their products so that consumers become more familiar with the products produced by these MSMEs. This research aims to determine the marketing strategy carried out by the 777 fruit sweet shop business to increase sales. This research is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The informant was determined deliberately, namely the business owner of Sweet Fruit Shop 777. The data collection procedures used in the research included observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained was analyzed using SWOT analysis. Based on the research results, show that the strategy implemented by the 777 fruit sweet shop business in Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi Province is in quadrant one, namely Aggressive (growth-oriented strategy), which is a very profitable situation with implementation through Marketing Strategy. The coordinates of point x are the coordinates of the IFAS strategy with a coordinate point of 2.83, while the coordinates of point y are the coordinates of the EFAS strategy with a coordinate point of 2.07. The strategy that needs to be improved in fruit marketing is to make maximum use of digital marketing to reach a wider market.

PENINGKATAN DAYA SAING PRODUK UMKM MELALUI PELATIHAN FOTOGRAFI PRODUK UNTUK STRATEGI MARKETING KREATIF

Abstract: This community service activity aimed to enhance the competitiveness of SME products through product photography training as part of a creative marketing strategy. The training was conducted during the 63rd Anniversary Education… ducation Exhibition of Universitas Negeri Makassar, involving six types of SME products: iced coffee, creative bags, accessories, packaged food, passion fruit drinks, and grilled bread. Participants were equipped with basic photography techniques and hands-on practice. Survey results showed a significant increase in photography skills and participants’ understanding of the importance of visual presentation in digital promotion. The training proved effective in improving SMEs’ promotional capabilities and product appeal in the digital era.

Abstract: Organosol soil has a very high content, but has a low soil acidity (pH) (acidic). As well as the occurrence of very slow decomposition of organic matter. The treatment with Ananas comosus (L.) Merr. extract, which contains… ns bioactive compounds such as bromelain enzymes, organic acids, and simple sugars, can accelerate the decomposition of organic matter and support the activity of soil microorganisms. The Local Microorganisms (MoL) applied, such as Solanum lycopersicum (L.) and Saccharum officinarum Linn., contain various functional microbes such as Lactobacillus sp., Saccharomyces sp., and Azotobacter sp., which play a role in nitrogen fixation, phosphate solubilisation, and organic matter decomposition. Overall, the results of research and observations conducted on Organosol soil media treated with Ananas comosus (L.) Merr. extract with the addition of Local Microorganisms (MoL) Solanum lycopersicum (L.) and Saccharum officinarum Linn. has been proven to effectively improve the chemical properties and fertility of Organosol soil through its role in increasing microbial activity and accelerating the decomposition of organic matter. This indicates that innovations in the application of fruit and the role of local microorganisms have the potential to be developed as environmentally friendly technologies for sustainable soil management.

DESCRIPTION OF MODERN WOUND CARE USING RED FRUIT OINTMENT DRESING FOR Mr. S WITH DIABETICT ULCER IN GELANG VILLAGE RAKIT DISTRICT

Abstract: Background: Diabetic ulcers are a chronic complication frequently experienced by individuals with diabetes mellitus and significantly contribute to morbidity, mortality, and lower extremity amputation rates. Effective wound… und management is key to preventing further complications. Modern dressings based on the moist wound healing principle have been proven more effective than conventional methods, as they maintain wound moisture and support tissue regeneration. Objective: To describe the treatment of diabetic ulcers using the modern dressing method with red fruit (Pandanus conoideus Lamk) ointment in Gelang Village, Rakit District. Methods : This study used a descriptive case study approach involving one diabetic ulcer patient who met the inclusion criteria. Wound care was performed every two days for 14 days using modern dressing and red fruit ointment. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Results: There was an improvement in wound conditions after the application of red fruit ointment, marked by an increase in granulation tissue and a decrease in necrotic tissue. The active ingredients in the ointment such as β-carotene, tocopherol, oleic acid, and linoleic acid have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects that accelerate the healing process. Conclusion: Modern dressing with red fruit ointment is effective in accelerating the healing process of diabetic ulcers and can serve as an alternative topical therapy to support optimal wound recovery

THE EFFECT of TOMATO JUICE AND DRAGON FRUIT JUICE ON 2-HOUR POST PRANDIAL BLOOD GLUCOSE LEVELS IN TYPE 2 DIABETES MELITUS PATIENTS IN BAKULAN VILLAGE, KEMANGKON DISTRICT

Abstract: Background: Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by elevated blood glucose levels due to insulin resistance or impaired insulin secretion. One effort to help lower blood glucose levels is… s through complementary therapy using natural ingredients such as tomato juice and dragon fruit juice, which contain various active compounds such as lycopene, fiber, vitamin C, and antioxidants.Objective: To determine the effect of tomato juice and dragon fruit juice on 2-hour post prandial blood glucose levels in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. Methods: This research is a case study with two subjects who met the inclusion criteria. The intervention was administered for 7 days, during which subjects consumed tomato juice and dragon fruit juice. Blood glucose levels were measured before and after the intervention using an Easy Touch device. Results: The study showed a decrease in blood glucose levels after administration of both juices. This indicates that the combination of tomato juice and dragon fruit juice can significantly lower blood glucose levels. Conclusion: Administering tomato juice and dragon fruit juice can be an effective complementary therapy in lowering blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

PEMBUATAN BIOETANOL DARI MAHKOTA BUAH NANAS VARIETAS CAYANE DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN SACCHAROMYCES CEREVISIAE

Abstract: The scarcity of petroleum resources or other fuel sources encourages efforts to find alternative energy, namely Bioethanol.  Alternative raw materials that can be utilised in the manufacture of bioethanol from biomass are… re pineapple crowns. Making Bioethanol from Pineapple Fruit Crown Cayane Variety by Using Saccharomyces cerevisiae Microbes is by varying the weight of yeast and the optimum fermentation time on the level of bioethanol produced.  In this study using NaOH 1.5%w to degrade the lignin content in the crown of pineapple varieties cayane and H2SO4 2%v to convert cellulose into glucose. The research used variations in yeast weight of 7.5%; 10%; 12.5%w and variations in fermentation time of 2; 3; 4; 5 days in the fermentation process.  While the purification process uses simple distillation with operating conditions 78oC-80oC for 2.5 -4 hours.  Bioethanol obtained was tested for refractive index and gask romatography (GC). The test results obtained the optimum weight of yeast is 12.5 grams at 3 days fermentation time with bioethanol content of 6.154%.

Abstract: Mango Gadung Clonal 21 (Mangifera indica L.) is the result of crossbreeding between Gadung Mango and Arumanis, acknowledged as a native fruit of Pasuruan Regency. However, the sales of this fruit decline during the peak… harvest season, causing difficulties for farmers in processing ripe fruit. Therefore, technology is needed to enhance shelf life and create innovative products using Mango Gadung Clonal 21 (Mangifera indica L.) as the base ingredient, with the addition of antioxidants from red dragon fruit peel. The aim of this research is to assess the physicochemical and organoleptic characteristics and identify the best combination of adding dextrin and red dragon fruit peel to Mango Gadung Clonal 21 (Mangifera indica L.) powder. This study employed a randomized block design with two main factors: the addition of red dragon fruit peel extract (M) with 2 levels (15 grams and 20 grams) and the addition of dextrin (D) with 3 levels (15 grams, 20 grams, and 25 grams). The study was repeated three times, resulting in a total of 18 treatments. Analysis encompassed antioxidant activity, water content, solubility, as well as organoleptic evaluations of color, aroma, taste, and texture. The best results were observed in the M1D3 treatment (15 grams of red dragon fruit peel and 25 grams of dextrin), with an antioxidant activity of 58.96 mg/ml, water content of 9.15%, solubility of 79.31%, color rating of 3.56 (liked), taste rating of 3.8 (liked), aroma rating of 3.04 (somewhat liked), and texture rating of 3.76 (liked).   Keywords: Antioxidant, Clonal 21 gadung mango, Dextrin, Red dragon fruit skin

Abstract: Abstract: PT. Padasa Enam Utama, a palm oil plantation company, currently assesses the quality of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) based solely on physical aspects. They use Microsoft Excel without a specialized application system,… tem, which can lead to subjective assessments and the risk of fraud. This research aims to develop a predictive system for the quality of Fresh Fruit Bunches. Data collection was conducted using quantitative methods through direct observation and interviews with relevant parties. The study shows that the use of the K-Nearest Neighbor method provides the best accuracy with a more efficient calculation process. With this system, the company’s performance in making decisions regarding FFB quality is expected to improve. The system helps reduce human errors in quality assessments and offers visualizations that make it easier for users to understand the classification of production quality. Although the results are reliable, there is still room for further development, such as improving accuracy through more advanced data preprocessing techniques or using more complex machine learning models. Padasa Enam Utama, sebuah perusahaan perkebunan kelapa sawit, saat ini menilai kualitas produksi Tandan Buah Segar (TBS) berdasarkan aspek fisik saja. Mereka menggunakan Microsoft Excel tanpa sistem aplikasi khusus, yang dapat menyebabkan penilaian tidak objektif dan risiko kecurangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem prediksi mutu kualitas Tandan Buah Segar. Dalam pengumpulan data, digunakan metode kuantitatif melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara dengan pihak terkait. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode K-Nearest Neighbor memberikan akurasi terbaik dengan proses perhitungan yang lebih efisien. Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan kinerja perusahaan dalam membuat keputusan terkait mutu produksi TBS dapat meningkat. Sistem ini membantu mengurangi kesalahan manusia dalam penilaian mutu TBS dan memberikan visualisasi yang memudahkan pengguna memahami klasifikasi mutu produksi. Meskipun telah memberikan hasil yang dapat diandalkan, masih ada ruang untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut, seperti peningkatan akurasi melalui teknik preprocessing data yang lebih canggih atau penggunaan model-machine learning yang lebih kompleks. DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM DALAM PEMILIHAN BUAH KELAPA SAWIT TERBAIK MENGGUNAKAN METODE MOORA

Therefore we built a decision support system using the MOORA method to identify the best/good quality of oil palm fruit. With a quantitative research methodology, which uses a lot of numbers starting from the data collection process to its interpretation. Based on the results of the research we have done, that the sale of quality palm fruit will be carried out by a fruit quality selection system using the MOORA method. And when building a decision support system for choosing oil palm fruit according to the MOORA method, the results of testing 10 alternatives achieved the highest score of 35.5   Keywords: SPK; MOORA; oil palm fruit                                  Abstrak:Kelapa sawit merupakan tanaman penghasil minyak sawit. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas minyak sawit, antara lain kadar air dan pengotor. Salah satu faktor yang paling penting adalah kematangan buah. Kematangan buah kelapa sawit pada dasarnya merupakan faktor yang sangat penting bagi kualitas minyak mentah. Oleh karena itu kami membangun suatu sistem pendukung keputusan dengan memakai metode MOORA untuk mengenali mutu buah kelapa sawit terbaik/ bagus. Dengan metodologi riset kuantitatif, yang di dalamnya menggunakan banyak angka mulai dari proses pengumpulan data hingga penafsirannya. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian yang telah kami lakukan, bahwa penjualan buah kelapa sawit  yang berkualitas akan dilakukan oleh suatu sistem pemilihan kualitas buah dengan menggunakan metode MOORA. Dan pada saat membangun sistem pendukung keputusan pemilihan buah kelapa sawit menurut metode MOORA, hasil pengujian 10 alternatif mencapai skor tertinggi yaitu 35,5.   Kata kunci : SPK; MOORA; buah kelapa sawit
