The Effects of Market Access and Logistics Efficiency on The Competitiveness of Salt Farmers in Jeneponto Regency

Abstract: constrained by limited buyer options, price-information gaps, high distribution costs, inadequate storage facilities, and fragmented product flows. This study examines the effects of market access and logistics efficiency&#8230; y on the competitiveness of salt farmers. A quantitative explanatory survey was conducted with 100 active salt farmers. The three constructs were measured using a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through multiple linear regression. Market access had a positive and statistically significant effect on competitiveness (p < 0.05), indicating that broader buyer networks, timely price information, alternative marketing channels, and stronger negotiating opportunities improve farmers’ ability to reach markets and sustain sales. Logistics efficiency also had a positive and significant effect (p < 0.05); reliable transportation, lower distribution costs, appropriate storage, proper handling, and shorter delivery times help preserve quality and reduce avoidable losses. The simultaneous test confirmed that both variables jointly affected competitiveness (p < 0.05). These findings indicate that increasing production alone is insufficient when farmers cannot reach profitable markets through efficient product flows. Collective marketing, transparent market information, shared storage, coordinated transportation, and direct relationships with processing industries are therefore essential for strengthening farmers’ bargaining power and market performance

Analysis of factors influencing the production and marketing of salted anchovies in Barru District, Sumpang Binangae Village, Barru Regency

Abstract: This research aims to determine what factors influence the production and marketing of salted anchovies in Barru District, Sumpang Binangae Village, Barru Regency. The data used in this research are primary and secondary&#8230; data. The analytical method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research show that the factors that influence the production of salted anchovies in the variables of labor (X1) and capital (X2) simultaneously have a significant effect on the amount of salted anchovy production in Barru District, Sumpang Binangae Village, Barru Regency. The marketing channels for salted anchovies in Barru District, Sumpang Binangae Village, Barru Regency consist of 3 (three) marketing channel patterns, namely: salted anchovy processors-consumers; (2) salted anchovy processor-trader collector-consumer; (3) salted anchovy processors- collecting traders- retailers- consumers. The lowest marketing margin value is marketing channel I, namely IDR. 640/Kg while the highest marketing margin value in channel III is Rp. 8,640/Kg.

ANALYSIS OF HOMOPHONE PHYRAMID LANGUAGE IN THE LANI TRIBE” PAPUA PEGUNUNGAN

Abstract: This study analyzes the phenomenon of homophone pyramid language in the Lani Tribe of Papua Pegunungan, revealing that homophones in the Lani language are not merely linguistic coincidences but embody unique phonological&#8230; patterns and semantic variations deeply connected to the tribe’s cultural and environmental context. Through descriptive linguistic analysis and field-based data collection, the study identifies several instances of lexical homophony such as tu (“door” / “road”), mayu (“rain” / “salt”), nengge (“eat” / “drink”), ngilu (“cucumber” / “snack”), eyo (“tree” / “barren”), kolee (“leader” / “older man”), abila (“pregnant” / “fat man”), and anuka (“head” / “Anuak tribe”). These examples demonstrate that meaning in the Lani language is primarily determined by contextual cues and pragmatic usage. The findings suggest that homophones in Lani function as linguistic features and cultural expressions that reflect the tribe’s perception of nature, community roles, and social identity. This research contributes to a broader understanding of Papuan linguistics and underscores the importance of preserving indigenous languages as repositories of cultural knowledge and intellectual heritage.  

Optimalisasi Pemberdayaan Desa melalui Program Unggulan dan Kemitraan Persyarikatan KKN MAs 68 Desa Buatan I

Abstract: The Community Service Program (KKN) MAS 68 at Buatan I Village, conducted from July 31 to September 10, 2025, was initiated in response to several challenges faced by the community, including limited educational and healthcare&#8230; thcare facilities, inadequate public amenities, environmental conditions requiring improvement, low socio-cultural activities, and limited local MSME development. The students implemented six main programs: establishing a reading corner; collaborating with the integrated health post (Posyandu) through elderly exercise, nutrition education, and supplementary feeding; renovating and organizing the village maternity post (Polindes); conducting greening and community clean-up activities at schools and the village; organizing the 17th August 2025 Independence Day celebration; and developing MSMEs based on egg-laying ducks into salted eggs and salted egg crackers. Methods employed included participatory observation, socialization, mentoring, hands-on practice, and active participation in socio-cultural activities. Evaluation was conducted through discussions with partners, field notes, and visual documentation. The results showed an improvement in literacy, the establishment of healthy habits among children and the elderly, a greener environment, successful organization of the Independence Day celebration, and increased economic value of local MSMEs. The program also enhanced students’ soft skills and strengthened synergy among students, villagers, and village officials, thus providing a positive impact on the community capacity of Buatan I Village.

Implementasi Teknologi Ozon Untuk Meningkatkan Lama Waktu Simpan Ikan Kembung Di Desa Air Genting

Abstract: Mackerel (Rastrelliger sp.) is a type of marine fish widely consumed. Several factors influencing it include affordable prices, delicious taste, and the ability to be processed into various dishes. However, mackerel fish&#8230; has a weakness: it quickly declines in quality if not managed properly. In the face of increasing demand, it is crucial to meet the need for fish with an optimal level of freshness. Methods have been used to maintain the freshness of fish, such as salting, freezing, and using plant ingredients. However, the use of natural ingredients from plants often has a low shelf life and can cause a decrease in fish quality. The method used in community service activities in Air Genting village is counselling. Counselling is carried out through the delivery of material, discussions (in the form of questions and answers), and explanations about tools capable of producing ozone. This activity aims to inform the public about technology with the ozone system. This technology can increase the shelf life of mackerel and keep the quality of the fish good and still suitable for consumption.             Keywords: fish; curing; ozone

Abstract: Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Peyek is a small-scale business that focuses on production and sales, peyek traditional Indonesian snacks that all people can consume, rempeyek business is a potentially profitable&#8230; able business idea supported by simple products and small capital made from materials such as flour, peanuts, or salted fish grouse. Peyek MSME businesses can be run by individuals or small groups with limited resources. This business can be run from home or a small pro-duction site with the aim of meeting local or regional market demand. It is important to maintain product quality, promote products productively and keep up with the times so that they can adapt to market developments so that the business can be sus-tainable. Given the importance of PIRT permits and halal certificates in marketing a product, we were given the opportunity to serve in Serdang village regarding PIRT permits and halal certificates. Usaha UMKM peyek dapat dijalankan oleh individu atau kelompok kecil dengan sumber daya terbatas. Bisnis ini dapat dijalankan dari rumah atau tempat produksi kecil dengan tujuan memenuhi permintaan pasar lokal atau regional. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pendapatan UMKM, memperbaiki legalitas usaha, menggunakan media social untuk pemasaran, meningkatkan kesadaran Masyarakat tentang produk local, pemberdayaan social ekonomi dan mendorong inovasi produk serta edukasi berkelanjutan. AUTOMATIC DISTILLATION OF SALT GROUND WATER BECOME FEATURED FOR CONSUMPTION

Abstract: Abstract: Salty groundwater is water that comes from the ground, has a high salt content and is unfit for consumption. The problem faced by the community is the difficulty of obtaining clean water which makes people buy&#8230; clean water for their daily needs such as drinking, bathing, washing and so on. The community processing salty groundwater so that it can be drunk is still not efficient, because it is still done manually by cooking the salty groundwater using a pot and stove to produce water vapor, then it is collected using a glass or other container. The purpose of this research is to produce an automatic distillation device using an electric water heater to be able to detect water temperature, salt content, and water level with rocks using the Arduino Uno Microcontroller. The method used in this study uses data collection and system development (prototype) methods. The results of the research resulted in an automatic distillation device that can separate the salt content in salty groundwater so that the water is suitable for consumption and also produces salt that can be used by the community for household needs.             Keywords: distillation apparatus; microcontroller; prototype; salty groundwater     Abstrak: Air tanah asin merupakan air yang berasal dari dalam tanah, memiliki kadar garam yang tinggi dan tidak layak untuk dikonsumsi. Masalah yang dihadapi masyarakat adalah kesulitan akan air bersih membuat masyarakat membeli air bersih untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari seperti minum, mandi, mencuci dan lain sebagainya. Masyarakat mengolah air tanah asin agar dapat diminum masih belum efisien, karena masih dilakukan secara manual dengan memasak air tanah asin menggunakan panci dan kompor untuk menghasilkan uapan air, kemudian ditampung menggunakan gelas atau wadah lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan suatu alat destilasi otomatis menggunakan pemanas air listrik untuk dapat mendeteksi suhu air, kadar garam, dan level ketinggian air dengan batuan menggunakan Mikrokontroler Arduino Uno. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data  dan pengembangan sistem (prototype). Hasil penelitian menghasilkan suatu alat destilasi otomatis yang dapat memisahkan kadar garam pada air tanah asin sehingga air tersebut layak dikonsumsi dan juga menghasilkan garam yang dapat dimanfaatkan masyarakat untuk keperluan dalam rumah tangga.   Kata kunci: air tanah asin; alat destilasi; mikrokontroler; prototype

PEANUT SHELLING MACHINE USING A PETROL ENGINE

Abstract: This study discusses a peanut shelling machine driven by a gasoline-engineered motor . In Indonesia, many processed peanut products require peanuts as a component, such as salted peanuts, peanut oil, peanut paste, peanut&#8230; tofu, and others. Manual peanut shelling is usually inefficient and time-consuming. Therefore, with this machine, which can automatically peel peanuts, it will greatly help save time and increase production capacity. Based on planning calculations for the planned components, the following data was obtained: Gasoline engine used = 5.5 Hp , Pad = 6005 , Belt length to peeler = 65 inches , Belt length to blower = 25 inches , Diameter pulley blower = 4 inches , Pulley diameter peeler = 11 inches , Diameter pulley driver = 2 inches . After analyzing the production/manufacturing costs of this machine, the price for manufacturing 1 peanut peeling machine was Rp4,019,372.24 .

Government Digital Marketing Communications for Tourism Development in Bejijong Village

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the tourism potential and marketing strategies in Bejijong Village, a village with a rich history and culture from the Majapahit Kingdom era located in Mojokerto Regency, East Java Province. This&#8230; is study explores how village managers conduct managerial and marketing activities to attract tourists and promote local products. The research method involves a SWOT analysis to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the Marketing Mix’s 7P approach implemented by the village. The results of the study indicate that Bejijong Village has several significant advantages, including historical heritage such as Brahu Temple, Petilasan Siti Inggil, and Maha Vihara Majapahit, as well as local products such as smoked salted eggs, lemon juice, pukis lumer (melting) bertoping, tahu lontong (compress rice), and Cempaka batik handicrafts and wayang kulit. However, the challenges faced include less than optimal website management, lack of effective digital marketing strategies, and entrance fees that may be insufficient to support maintenance. This study introduces novelty in marketing strategy analysis by integrating the SWOT and Marketing Mix’s 7P approaches to provide in-depth insights into how management and marketing can be improved. These findings are expected to be a reference for other villages in designing more effective marketing strategies and suggesting improvement steps that can increase the attractiveness and sustainability of culture-based tourist destinations.
