t learning autonomy. Higher education institutions providing distance education face challenges in delivering digital learning materials that are not only easily accessible but also capable of sustainably enhancing students’ learning motivation. The research problem addressed in this study focuses on the extent to which the utilization of Android-based digital learning materials influences the learning motivation of students at Universitas Terbuka. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of using Android-based digital learning materials on students’ learning motivation in the context of distance education. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method as the research design. The research sample consisted of 97 Universitas Terbuka students from UT Ambon, UT Gorontalo, and UT Makassar, selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires, while data analysis was conducted through simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results of the analysis indicate that the utilization of Android-based digital learning materials has a positive and significant effect on students’ learning motivation, as evidenced by a regression coefficient value of 0.442 and a significance value of 0.000, which is below the 0.05 significance threshold. These findings confirm that improvements in the intensity and quality of using Android-based digital learning materials are directly associated with increased student learning motivation. The novelty of this study lies in strengthening empirical evidence on the effectiveness of Android-based digital learning materials in a cross-regional distance education context, while also providing practical contributions to the development of digital learning strategies aimed at enhancing the learning motivation of Universitas Terbuka students.
Abstract:Indonesian Migrant Workers constitute a labor group that makes a significant contribution to the national economy through remittances, particularly from regions with high migration intensity such as East Nusa Tenggara Province;…
ovince; however, the strong public interest in working abroad is often not accompanied by adequate understanding of safe migration procedures, protection mechanisms, and the rights and obligations of migrant workers. This condition has led to serious problems, including the increasing number of non-procedural migrant workers, deportation cases, and vulnerability to human trafficking crimes, indicating an information and communication gap between migrant worker protection institutions and prospective migrant workers. This study aims to analyze the communication strategies implemented by the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Service Center of East Nusa Tenggara Province in enhancing public awareness of migrant workers’ rights. A qualitative approach with a descriptive method was employed to provide an in-depth portrayal of the communication practices carried out by the institution, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation of socialization activities, and documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, while the conceptual analytical framework was based on the Shannon–Weaver Two-Way Communication Model to assess message delivery effectiveness, communication channels, message recipients, and feedback mechanisms. The findings indicate that the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Service Center of East Nusa Tenggara Province has implemented various communication strategies, including direct community outreach, pre-departure orientation, the use of visual and audio media, and cross-sector collaboration with local governments and community leaders. Although these strategies contribute to increasing public knowledge regarding migration procedures and migrant workers’ rights, their effectiveness remains constrained by low literacy levels, challenging geographical conditions, and weak feedback mechanisms from target communities. The study concludes that strengthening dialogic and participatory communication, simplifying messages to improve comprehensibility, and adapting communication media to local cultural contexts are essential for improving migrant worker protection. The novelty of this study lies in integrating a two-way communication model with the socio-cultural context of East Nusa Tenggara as a basis for formulating more contextual, adaptive, and community-empowering communication strategies for migrant worker protection.
Abstract:This study aims to empirically analyze the effect of exchange rates and interest rates on the stock prices of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020-2024 period. The research employs a quantitative…
uantitative approach with a causal-associative design and utilizes secondary data obtained from official publications of Bank Indonesia (BI) and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The research population consists of 45 banking companies, from which 20 companies meeting the sampling criteria were selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted comprehensively through descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing with the assistance of SPSS software. The findings reveal that, partially, exchange rates have a significant negative effect on stock prices, and interest rates also exert a significant negative effect. Furthermore, simultaneous testing confirms that both independent variables significantly and negatively influence banking stock prices. These results highlight that macroeconomic volatility, particularly exchange rate fluctuations and interest rate movements, are crucial determinants to be considered in capital market analysis. Academically, this study contributes to the literature on the relationship between macroeconomic indicators and stock price dynamics, while practically, the results may serve as a reference for investors in making investment decisions, for policymakers in formulating economic stabilization strategies, and for banking institutions in anticipating market risks arising from both global and domestic economic uncertainty.
Abstract:The Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program was developed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia as a step towards modernizing higher education and bridging the…
gap between the academic world and the workforce. Although it has been widely adopted in various universities, the efficiency of this program in enhancing students’ job readiness remains a key question. The aim of this research is to evaluate the implementation of the MBKM program and its impact on students’ job preparation, including both soft skills and hard skills. The background of the issue reveals a gap between higher education graduates’ competencies and the needs of the workforce, which has driven the government to initiate the MBKM policy as a solution to better prepare students for the dynamics of the labor market. The research problem focuses on the effectiveness of MBKM program implementation across various universities and how it affects students’ job readiness. Through a comprehensive literature review method, this study analyzes various scientific publications, policy reports, and evaluation studies related to MBKM from 2020 to 2024. The findings indicate that the implementation of MBKM still varies across higher education institutions with several challenges, such as infrastructure readiness, administrative systems, and stakeholder understanding. However, a positive correlation was found between student participation in the MBKM program, particularly in industry internships and collaborative projects, and improvements in adaptability, problem-solving skills, and technical competencies needed in the workforce. The novelty of this research lies in the comprehensive mapping of critical factors in the implementation of MBKM as well as the development of a sustainable evaluation framework that universities can use to enhance the effectiveness of the MBKM program in preparing graduates who are job-ready and globally competitive.
Abstract:Communication is a fundamental aspect of human life that enables individuals to connect and interact with one another. In the context of an organization, communication plays a crucial role in building effective relationships…
hips among its members. Harold Lasswell described communication as a process that can be explained through the following questions: “who says what in which channel to whom with what effect?” This question highlights the complexity of communication within an organization, which is also relevant for study in organizations such as the Student Representative Council of Muhammadiyah University of Palangkaraya, especially in the context of significant changes that are taking place. This study aims to understand the dynamics of communication in the cadre training process between the management and members of the organization. The primary focus of the research is to explore how communication occurs between the management and members during cadre training activities. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type, along with data collection techniques involving interviews and documentation. To ensure data validity, the researcher employs triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. The findings of the study show that communication in the cadre training process is divided into two categories: internal and external communication. Internal communication involves interactions between the management and members within the organization, with freedom in conveying information between leaders, managers, and members. Meanwhile, external communication focuses on the relationship between the organization and other institutions, to convey aspirations in accordance with its tasks and authority. Additionally, the cadre system in this organization combines both formal and informal training, although there are differences in how each faculty representative conducts cadre training. Overall, this organization is able to implement a more optimal cadre system, especially in preparing the core management.

s and opportunities, and formulate appropriate development strategies to create a greener campus. The research methods used include surveys, in-depth interviews, secondary data analysis, and field observations to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current situation. The findings of the study indicate that UMB faces several challenges, including the limited green open space, which only covers 15% of the total campus area, suboptimal waste management, and the low awareness of the academic community regarding environmental sustainability issues. However, there are several opportunities that can be leveraged, such as the utilization of renewable energy technologies, government policies that increasingly support environmentally friendly initiatives, and the potential for collaboration with external partners from both the private sector and government institutions. The proposed development strategy focuses on five main aspects. First, increasing the campus’s green open space to 30% of the total campus area. Second, the implementation of renewable energy, such as the installation of solar panels, to reduce dependence on fossil fuels. Third, waste management based on technology to effectively recycle waste. Fourth, the application of digital-based environmental education to raise awareness among the academic community. Fifth, maximizing student participation in sustainability activities. This strategy aims to reduce carbon footprints, improve resource efficiency, and create a campus ecosystem that supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

ecognition for the efforts they have put into the work they perform. This study focuses on the regulation of rewards for inmates working in correctional facilities, as well as an evaluation of the fairness aspect in their distribution. The study adopts a normative legal analysis approach, utilizing primary legal sources such as laws and government regulations, as well as additional references discussing inmates’ rights in correctional institutions, particularly those related to the payment system for the work they perform. The study finds that the regulations governing inmates’ rights, including those related to wage distribution, are outlined in Article 14 of Law No. 12 of 1995, Government Regulation No. 32 of 1999, and the Minister of Justice Decree No. M.01-PP.02.01 of 1990. From the researcher’s perspective, the distribution of rewards aligns with the principle of fairness because, in addition to receiving rewards, inmates also receive valuable skill training for their future after leaving the correctional institution.

ive legal regulations. Fatwas issued by scholars play a crucial role in providing legal guidance for Muslims in Indonesia, particularly in the context of technological and modern economic developments such as e-commerce, sharia fintech, and digital investments. Using a qualitative approach with literature study, this research analyzes various fatwas issued by the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) and the factors influencing the scholars' decisions, including technological advancements, societal needs, and globalization. Furthermore, this study identifies obstacles in the implementation of fatwas, such as limited public understanding and potential conflicts with government regulations. The research finds that, despite the challenges, there is significant potential for aligning fatwas with positive legal regulations in Indonesia. Collaboration between scholars, religious institutions, and the government is essential to ensure the effective implementation of fatwas and create an inclusive and just legal system for Muslims. The synergy between fatwas and regulations is expected to support the sustainable development of the Islamic economy and contribute to the building of a more prosperous and harmonious Indonesian society.
Abstract:Strengthening Village communities improves living standards, produces sustainable benefits for the community, encourages community independence and initiative, develops the Village economy, improves the environment, and…
forms community financial institutions, are efforts to create activities that make this possible. Increasing the creativity and productivity of the people of Babakan Village who face several obstacles in strengthening the fish cultivation population, including the dry season causing drought, this has an impact on the development of fish cultivation, the outreach and training by the Babakan Village Government for fish cultivation groups regarding their potential, the cultivator community has not been maximized. Fish lack insight and knowledge so that fish farming management is carried out by autodidacts. The conclusions obtained show that the role of the village government in strengthening the "Mina Kariya" fisheries cultivation group in Babakan Village, Pangandaran District, Pangandaran Province is basically functioning and very good. However, it still faces several obstacles, such as the lack of consensus among all breeders and it is still not optimal. So far we have not found an alternative to making our own food, so fish food still needs to be purchased. Farmers' skills and knowledge are still low and there are no alternative aquaculture techniques that can help farmers run their operations effectively. There is no research that focuses on the role of the Village Head in empowering community business groups, especially in Pangandaran Regency, so it is urgent in this research to find solutions to solve the problems that occur.
