Abstract: The Family Planning program has long been known as an important intervention in efforts to reduce maternal and child mortality rates. This research uses the SLR method by collecting and analyzing literature from various academic databases. Inclusion criteria included studies evaluating the impact of Family Planning programs on maternal and child mortality rates, published between 2019 and 2024. The literature selection process was carried out in two stages: initial screening and quality assessment using PRISMA guidelines. A total of 15 studies met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed in this study. The findings show that the Family Planning Program is effective in reducing maternal mortality through increasing access to reproductive health services, health education, and use of contraception. Apart from that, the Family Planning program is also effective in reducing child mortality by improving maternal health and preventing unwanted pregnancies. Challenges identified include limited access to health services in remote areas, cultural barriers, and lack of policy support. Joaquim Pinto, Yenny Puspitasari
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the role and contribution of families in the implementation of Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI) and the impact of family participation on child health outcomes. In addition, this… is study also identified factors that support or hinder family participation in the IMCI program. The method used was a systematic literature review of various published studies. The method used is a systematic literature review with the main data source of 15 previous studies on the theme to be examined in this study so that the data makes a new finding. The main findings of this study show that family education, social and community support, health policies, and family experiences and perceptions of IMCI are important themes that influence the successful implementation of IMCI. Effective education of families improves their understanding and skills in managing childhood illnesses, while support from health workers and the community can increase family participation in IMCI programs. Supportive health policies and appropriate interventions also play an important role in ensuring the program's effectiveness. However, lack of motivation and adequate information from health workers can be barriers to family participation. This study confirms the importance of active family participation in IMCI implementation to improve child health outcomes. Recommendations for further research include evaluation of the most effective educational methods, the influence of technology in supporting IMCI, and longitudinal studies to monitor the long-term impact of family participation. From a health policy perspective, improved training for health workers, strengthened social and community support networks, and improved accessibility of health information through various media are suggested to support better implementation of IMCI programs.

Almahdali, Humairah, Sakir, Ahmad Rosandi
Abstract: The conclusion of this study indicates that the implementation of offensive and defensive strategies in the Sub-District Office has proceeded adequately. Evaluation of offensive strategy indicators, such as the approach… among colleagues, shows a significant improvement. Although it is already quite good, further improvement is necessary, especially in terms of employees giving warnings to colleagues who violate rules. The family approach has also positively contributed to efforts to prevent bureaucratic pathologies. The weekly evaluations conducted by the section head with the team can be seen as a proactive step in maintaining performance quality. Although it is already quite good, there is a need for improvement to make these evaluations more effective in preventing and addressing violations. On the defensive strategy side, implementing mild sanctions in the form of written warnings has been effective. These sanctions are given to employees who violate rules, such as being absent without notice for 6 to 10 days. Moderate and severe sanctions have also been well implemented when needed, indicating readiness to respond to more serious violations. Overall, offensive and defensive strategies in the Sub-District Office of Pitumpanua are already quite good, but continuous improvement is needed to ensure their effectiveness in dealing with various situations and cases of bureaucratic pathologies in the future.
