ularly in fields that intersect with global issues, such as Islamic economic law. This research is using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research involved interviews, observations, and data analysis to identify students’ English competencies and challenges. The Findings in this research show that students require strong skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening, especially to understand international literature, compose academic and legal documents, and participate in global discourse. However, students face major obstacles such as limited vocabulary rela ted to Sharia and economic terminology, and a lack of confidence in speaking due to minimal exposure. Despite these challenges, students demonstrate high motivation to improve their English for academic advancement and career opportunities. The study emphasizes the need for English instruction tailored to the specific demands of Islamic economic law to better prepare students for global competitiveness

Based Learning (PBL). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tahapan mulai dari merencanakan pembelajaran, melaksanakan, observasi dan refleksi, yang dilakukan dari siklus I sampai siklus II dan seterusnya sampai diperoleh rekomendasi, hasil belajar peserta didik dan daya serap klasikal peserta didik pada siklus belajar terakhir tuntas. Subyek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 15 Kerinci. Jumlah peserta didik kelas VIII yang diteliti sebanyak 16 orang. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari tanggal 07 Januari 2023 – 05 Februari 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran seni musik materi bernyanyi lagu daerah secara unisono mengalami peningkatan, mulai dari siklus I ke siklus II, Hasil belajar peserta didik mengalami peningkatan selama menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning. Peningkatan hasil belajar tampak pada jumlah peserta yang mencapai KKM bertambah banyak dan meningkat sebesar 32,14%. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar di siklus I sebesar 71,66 dan pada siklus II rata- rata hasil belajar meningkat menjadi 85,69. Kemudian tanggapan dan sikap peserta didik terhadap model problem based learning yang diterapkan sangat positif.

Utilizing a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods, data were gathered through field observations, structured interviews with traditional elders (Tua Adat), and documentation of the ritual steps. The findings reveal that the ritual embodies deep philosophical values, including cosmic balance, kinship solidarity, and cultural identity preservation. Furthermore, the Bau Lolon ritual functions as a social mechanism that strengthens communal bonds among the villagers. Despite modern societal shifts, the people of Kolilanang continuously preserve this ritual, demonstrating a resilient synthesis between ancestral traditions and contemporary community life.

rnization and shifts in the lifestyle of younger generations have led to a diminishing understanding of its symbols, ritual language, and moral messages, thereby placing its existence at risk of marginalization. This study addresses the question of how the theological meaning and anthropological values of Natoni are understood and actualized within Christian communities, and to what extent this tradition contributes to the formation of faith identity and social cohesion. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the practice and its meanings. The findings reveal that Natoni functions as a contextual medium of prayer, a means of internalizing faith teachings, a bond of communal solidarity, and a vehicle for transmitting values of respect, responsibility, and intergenerational togetherness. The tradition provides an integrative space between incarnational theology and local cultural realities, thereby enriching contextual expressions of Christian spirituality. The study concludes that the revitalization of Natoni requires synergy among the church, traditional leaders, families, and educational institutions to ensure its continued relevance and responsiveness to contemporary challenges. The novelty of this research lies in its simultaneous integration of theological and anthropological analyses of Natoni as a contextual praxis of faith rather than merely a cultural phenomenon, thus offering a conceptual contribution to the development of Indonesian contextual theology.
