These conditions highlight the need to reconstruct the spiritual responsibility of Christian parents so that the family may once again serve as the primary center of faith formation. This study aims to analyze the essence of Christian parents' spiritual responsibility from theological and pedagogical perspectives, explain its implementation in Christian Religious Education within the family, and examine its implications for the development of children's faith, character, and spirituality. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a library research method. The findings reveal that parents' spiritual responsibility is manifested through exemplary living, faith-based communication, spiritual discipline, and sustainable family relationships. The study also proposes a conceptual model consisting of four main components: theological foundation, pedagogical relationship, family spiritual practices, and children's character transformation. It is concluded that reconstructing parents' spiritual responsibility strengthens the family as the primary context of Christian Religious Education while fostering synergy among families, churches, and educational institutions. The novelty of this study lies in integrating theological and pedagogical perspectives into a contextual, dialogical, participatory, and transformative model for reconstructing the spiritual responsibility of Christian parents.

. This condition highlights the importance of a strong theological foundation for cultivating Christ-centered spirituality. This study aims to examine the concept of the ethics of the cross in Philippians 2:5–11 from the perspective of Pauline Christology, identify the ethical values embedded within the passage, and explain their implications for congregational spiritual formation. The study employs a qualitative method with a theological-expository approach through library research and exegetical analysis of Philippians 2:5–11. The findings reveal that the ethics of the cross is rooted in Christ’s self-emptying, His taking the form of a servant, His obedience unto death on the cross, and His subsequent exaltation by God. This ethical framework is expressed through three principal values: relinquishing personal rights and privileges, serving with humility, and demonstrating complete obedience to the will of God. The findings further indicate that congregational spiritual formation should be centered on the transformation of the mind, a life characterized by service, and communal relationships that reflect the character of Christ. The novelty of this study lies in its formulation of the ethics of the cross as a systematic and Christ-centered model of spiritual formation that bridges Pauline Christology and the spiritual development of contemporary congregations.

The study employs a qualitative approach using a case study method to explore community-based learning processes through family apprenticeship, direct observation, and practical experience that integrates technical skills, aesthetic sensitivity, spiritual values, and Javanese philosophy. The findings reveal a distinctive learning ecology that emphasizes the internalization of tacit knowledge, character formation, and the close relationship between learning processes and socio-cultural life. The community also demonstrates adaptive resilience through its ability to adopt innovation without abandoning core cultural principles. The conclusion confirms that ethnopedagogical practices among the Muntilan stone carvers represent an effective and relevant contextual education model to support the preservation of intangible cultural heritage while addressing the challenges of modern education. This study aims to analyze the relevance and contribution of the philosophical streams of Essentialism and Reconstructionism in the development of contemporary Christian Religious Education. The research employs a qualitative approach through a literature review, using descriptive–interpretative analysis of relevant scientific, philosophical, and theological sources. The findings indicate that Essentialism makes a significant contribution to strengthening the foundations of faith, shaping Christian character, and internalizing core Christian values that are normative and sustainable. Conversely, Reconstructionism positions CRE as a means of social renewal that encourages learners to actively engage in justice, social responsibility, and societal transformation. The integration of these two philosophical approaches enables CRE to develop holistically by balancing spiritual, moral, and social dimensions within the educational process. The conclusion of this study affirms that Essentialism and Reconstructionism possess strategic relevance as a philosophical foundation for contextual and transformative Christian Religious Education. This condition raises both conceptual and practical issues regarding how to design a model of Islamic Religious Education that systematically, applicatively, and contextually integrates scientific knowledge and spirituality within contemporary higher education. This study aims to formulate such an integrative framework through a qualitative approach based on an in-depth literature review of books, journal articles, and research findings, which are analyzed thematically and conceptually. The results identify three main strategies: the development of an interdisciplinary curriculum that internalizes ethical–tawhidic values within professional sciences, the implementation of value-based pedagogy that connects spiritual concepts such as as-sidq and al-amanah with real-life case studies, and the strengthening of campus culture that supports value internalization through co-curricular activities and community service. The synthesis of findings indicates that this integrative model has the potential to enhance students’ moral awareness, spiritual resilience, and ethical decision-making capacity in responding to the dynamics and complexities of modern life. The conclusion emphasizes that the integration of scientific knowledge and spirituality in Islamic Religious Education is not merely a curricular supplement, but a strategic necessity in higher education. The novelty of this study lies in the formulation of a conceptual framework that positions spirituality as an overarching paradigm that provides meaning, direction, and ethical responsibility for the entire structure of knowledge, while offering an applicative model to overcome the dichotomy between secular science and religion in order to produce graduates with strong character, reflective capacity, and a commitment to social responsibility. In the current era of globalization, the wetonan tradition is faced with various challenges that threaten its survival. Changes in people’s attitudes and mindsets, urbanization, and doubts about traditional values are some of the main challenges. Shifting values and priorities in society, changes in value and belief systems, and doubts about the role of tradition in the era of globalization are some of the main challenges. However, preserving the wetonan tradition is crucial to maintaining a rich and diverse cultural identity and strengthening the solidarity of Javanese indigenous communities. To maintain and face the challenges of the wetonan tradition remaining relevant and valued by the community, concrete steps are needed. In facing this challenge, it is important to continue to educate the public about the cultural and spiritual values contained in the wetonan tradition, as well as to replant these values to strengthen the sustainability of the wetonan tradition amid the ongoing flow of modernization and globalization.
