LIBRARY LITERACY MANAGEMENT IN MOTIVATING STUDENTS' INTEREST IN READING AT DRIVING SCHOOLS IN STATE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLS BARITO KUALA

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to find out  the literacy management of school libraries, supporting and inhibiting factors, and strategies that can be applied by the library in an effort to motivate students' interest in reading… reading at SMPN 3 Alalak and SMPN 4 Alalak as driving schools.The theory used in this study is the theory according to George R Terry. The methodology of this research uses a qualitative approach and this type of research uses qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that library management in SMPN 3 Alalak and SMPN 4 Alalak in motivating students' interest in reading includes the function of Planning is the development of collections and reference services. The Organizing Function is the division of library work programs and reference services. The function of Direction/implementation is the development of collections. The supervisory function is collaboration and partnership. Supporting and inhibiting factors to motivate students' interest in reading at SMPN 3 Alalak and SMPN 4 Alalak as driving schools include technological advancements, collection of reading materials, human resources, facilities and infrastructure. Strategies that can be applied by the library in motivating students' interest in reading as a driving school are increasing collection materials, providing adequate facilities and infrastructure, providing good services, holding additional programs such as conducting regular and continuous promotions. It can be concluded that at the end of the study, data was obtained for student visits to the SMPN 3 Alalak library reaching 27%, which is not yet classified as high student visits, while for SMPN 4 Alalak reaching 65%, it is classified as high student visits.

Abstract: The quality of education of a nation is largely determined by the quality of human resources especially educators. Therefore, it is a necessity for every educational institution to improve the quality of teaching staff.… The purpose of study are to find out how the development of human resources process from teacher staff to improve the quality education and how the supporting and inhibiting factors to impove the quality education at SD Islam Permata Mojosari. This study used a qualitative approach to the type of case study, which research is carried out at SD Islam Permata Mojosari. Data collection is done using techniques: interviews, observation, and documentation. While the data obtained were analyzed through several stages namely: Condensation, data display, and verification of conclusions as well as checking the validity of the data. The process of developing human resources educators has been going well, but there are still shortages here and there both in terms of implementation and evaluation of the results of the development.

Implementasi Peraturan Menteri Dalam Negeri Nomor 72 Tahun 2022 di Kabupaten Merauke

Abstract: This study provides an overview of the implementation of the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 72 of 2022 in Merauke Regency. The purpose of this study is to analyze and comprehensively describe the implementation… mentation of the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 72 of 2022 in Merauke Regency and to identify the factors inhibiting its implementation in the region. This study applies Edward C. III’s policy implementation theory and uses a qualitative research approach through in-depth interviews with 16 informants to explore their meanings, perceptions, and understandings. A semi-structured interview approach was employed to enable the researcher to obtain flexible yet focused data, as stated by Prof. Dr. Lexy J. Moleong (2014). The study utilized an interactive data analysis technique consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Digital Population Identity (IKD) policy in Merauke Regency has been carried out in accordance with directives from the central government through a tiered and continuous communication mechanism. However, its implementation has not yet been optimal at the regional level. The main obstacles include limited socialization, low understanding and acceptance of the policy among implementers, the absence of specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for IKD, and the lack of motivation, commitment, and integrity of human resources, ICT infrastructure, and budgetary support. In addition, the social, economic, cultural, and geographical conditions of the community also hinder the utilization of IKD, resulting in its limited use and the continued dominance of physical population documents. The findings of this study emphasize the need to strengthen communication aspects, resources, implementers’ commitment, and policy adjustments to local conditions in order to achieve the objectives of the IKD policy effectively and equitably.

Presepsi Masyarakat terhadap Penerapan Prinsip Good Governance di Kampung Gurinda Jaya Kabupaten Merauke

Abstract: This research is motivated by the suboptimal implementation of good governance principles in public services at the village level, which influences public perceptions of the performance of government officials. The purpose… se of this study is to analyze public perceptions of the implementation of the principles of accountability, transparency, openness, and the rule of law in public services in Gurinda Jaya Village, Merauke Regency, and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of village officials and community service users. The results indicate that the implementation of good governance principles has not been optimal, characterized by discrepancies in service delivery times with established standards, limited public understanding of service information, inconsistent transparency practices, and an unfulfilled sense of justice and legal certainty in public services. The study's conclusion confirms that strengthening apparatus capacity, improving discipline and integrity, and strengthening village government commitment and community participation are important implications for realizing more effective and accountable village governance.

Abstract: This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of Minimum Service Standards (MSS) implementation at the Department of Population and Civil Registration (Disdukcapil) in Merauke Regency, South Papua Province. MSS are crucial… cial instruments for guaranteeing community rights to quality basic services, including civil administration services. Despite their establishment, challenges persist in ensuring that services provided align with the stipulated standards. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. Key informants included the head of the department, service-providing staff, and representatives of community service users. The findings indicate that MSS implementation at Merauke Disdukcapil has generally been underway, though its effectiveness varies across service types. Some MSS indicators, such as service waiting times and cost certainty, have been well-met. However, challenges are still present in aspects like the availability of adequate human resources, sub-optimal socialization of MSS to the community, and the need for improved supporting infrastructure. Limited access to information and public understanding of service rights also act as inhibiting factors. Thus, the effectiveness of MSS at Merauke Disdukcapil can be enhanced through strengthening human resource capacity, improving facilities and infrastructure, and intensifying socialization efforts. This study recommends the necessity of regular evaluation and continuous improvement to ensure excellent civil administration services for all communities in Merauke.

Mengembangkan Kognitif Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun dengan Permainan Gerbong Angka

Abstract: Number carriage game which is a simple math learning activity that is easy to play and can solve or find the sum of the results provided by the educator. The purpose of this study is to describe the results of cognitive… development in totaling to group A PAUD KIA-KIRA Sedati Sidoarjo. The data analysis technique uses 3 stages, namely data reduction; data presentation; and conclusions or verification. Then triagulation and validity are carried out. The group studied was Group A (ages 4-5 years) totaling 14 students. Data was collected from the results of observation sheets and field notes.The results showed that the cognitive development of group A PAUD KIA-KIRA in adding up with the numbers carriage game at the stage of development as expected (BSH) but on the indicator symbol of numbers at the stage began to develop (MB). Factors that support the implementation of the number car play activities, namely students who are enthusiastic to play even though there are some who are not familiar with numbers and homeroom teacher support is always helpful while the inhibiting factor is the cognitive ability to read the symbols of student numbers is still lacking, because the media at school is lacking inadequate as well as the lack of creativities educator makes educational props tools (APE).

Analisis Kemudahan Penggunaan Kartu Digital Santri pada Koperasi Pondok Pesantren Hidayatullah Samarinda

Abstract: The advancement of financial technology has encouraged Islamic boarding schools to implement digital transaction systems to improve the effectiveness of cooperative services. This study aims to analyze the ease of use of… the student digital card and identify the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting its implementation at Hidsam Mart Cooperative, Hidayatullah Islamic Boarding School, Samarinda. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, with data analyzed through the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings indicate that the student digital card is easy to understand, operate, access, and learn, thereby accelerating transaction processes, improving service efficiency, and supporting more systematic financial record-keeping. The main obstacles identified include technical disruptions, network limitations, and the absence of independent features for checking account balances and transaction histories. The novelty of this study lies in its specific analysis of the ease of use of student digital cards within the context of an Islamic boarding school cooperative by emphasizing user experience as the primary basis for evaluating the implementation of a digital transaction system. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for the development of digital transaction services in Islamic boarding school environments.

Strategi Manajemen Humas dalam Menaikkan Jumlah Siswa di SMP Negeri 6 Satap Baraka

Abstract: This research examines Public Relations Management Strategies to Increase the Number of Students at SMP Negeri 6 Satap Baraka. The study focuses on how public relations management strategies enhance student enrollment at… SMP Negeri 6 Satap Baraka, including supportive and inhibiting factors affecting the implementation of these strategies. The approach used is qualitative with a descriptive analysis. Data sources include the school principal, vice principal, PR team, committee, and the community. Data collection methods consist of interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques involve data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that public relations management strategies to increase student enrollment at SMP Negeri 6 Satap Baraka include: 1) Operational Strategies such as the PR team having specific efforts or mechanisms to manage PR programs involving the community and school committee; 2) Persuasive and Educational Strategies including distributing brochures containing the school's vision, mission, and advantages, as well as conducting socialization to emphasize the importance of education for children; 3) Social Responsibility Strategies like door-to-door visits to maintain relationships between the school and the community, and participating in community and institutional activities; 4) Collaboration Strategies involving partnerships with local health centers and participating in community work activities; 5) Supporting factors such as community support and maintaining harmonious relationships fostering good school credibility; 6) Inhibiting factors such as inadequate road infrastructure and the majority of parents being farmers, making it difficult to reach them. The triggering factor discouraging enrollment in this school is the presence of more competitive schools with larger student bodies and an Islamic environment.

Pelatihan Legalitas Usaha dan Sertifikat Halal Keripik Ubi di Desa Sei Bluru

Abstract: In Sei Beluru Village, Meranti District, there are still problems in understanding the legality of business permits and the importance of halal certification. Many micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the village… ge do not yet have official business legality and halal certification, which is one of the inhibiting factors in expanding the market and increasing consumer confidence. The process of registering business legality and halal certification is considered complicated and requires adequate knowledge and assistance. The method used in this community service activity is direct training and assistance to cassava chip entrepreneurs in Sei Bluru Village. The training includes socialization regarding the importance of business legality and halal certification, a guide to registration procedures and a simulation of the process of managing business permits and halal certification. Assistance is provided to assist participants in filling out forms, completing documents, and carrying out the application process independently. The purpose of this activity is to increase the understanding of entrepreneurs regarding the importance of business legality and halal certification and to assist them in the process of managing both aspects. After this activity is carried out, it is hoped that cassava chip entrepreneurs in Sei Bluru Village can increase the competitiveness of their products in the market, especially markets that prioritize product halalness and clear business legality. Keywords : business legality; halal certificate; training; cassava chips; UMKM   Abstrak : Di Desa Sei Beluru Kecamatan Meranti masih mengalami masalah pemahaman mengenai legalitas izin usaha dan pentingnya sertifikasi halal.  Banyak usaha mikro kecil menengah (UMKM) di desa tersebut yang belum memiliki legalitas usaha resmi dan sertifikasi halal sehingga menjadi salah satu faktor penghambat dalam memperluas pasar dan meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen. Proses pendaftaran legalitas usaha dan sertifikasi halal dianggap rumit dan memerlukan pengetahuan serta pendampingan yang memadai. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan secara langsung kepada para pelaku usaha keripik ubi di Desa Sei Bluru. Pelatihan meliputi sosialisasi mengenai pentingnya legalitas usaha dan sertifikasi halal, panduan tata cara pendaftaran serta simulasi proses pengurusan izin usaha dan sertifikasi halal. Pendampingan dilakukan untuk membantu peserta dalam mengisi formulir, melengkapi dokumen, dan melakukan proses pengajuan secara mandiri. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman para pelaku usaha mengenai pentingnya legalitas usaha dan sertifikasi halal serta membantu mereka dalam proses pengurusan kedua aspek tersebut.   Kata kunci: legalitas usaha; sertifikat halal; pelatihan; keripik ubi; UMKM

Abstract: The use of natural resources for the implementation of development is closely related to the environment and spatial planning. These two things have so far tended to be unplanned and unsustainable, the result of which is… a decline in the quality and function of the environment, including the natural resources within it. Environmental problems are increasing day by day, this indicates that environmental policy has not been successful. The community service activity was carried out on Friday 26 July 2024 at the Subak Sibang Kaja Abiansemal Hall. The problem formulation in this report is firstly, What is the form of community synergy to realize sustainable development in environmental management? and secondly, what are the inhibiting factors in realizing sustainable development? The aim of this report is to find out the synergy of society in realizing sustainable development in environmental management and what factors are obstacles in realizing sustainable development. This implementation method uses socialization where implementation is carried out through lectures given by resource persons with the aim of making the community understand the importance of management. environment .  The results of the first community service activities are in the form of synergy which occurs in the form of cooperation between the community and the government in environmental management such as establishing a waste bank and the first inhibiting factors in sustainable development, lack of public awareness, the absence of legal regulations that provide appropriate sanctions. firm and finally the existence of climate change in an area   Keywords: environment; improvement; sustainable developmen.
