Analisa, Suci, Fianingtyas, Mawarda Alistina, Chamami, M. Rikza

RESEARCH PARADIGMS AND METHODS

Maritasari, Donna Boedi, Sulastri, Dina Fitri, Septiani, Jumiarti, Anggara, Arya
Abstract: Research paradigms and research methods are two fundamental components that determine the quality, consistency, and credibility of scientific research. However, there are still misunderstandings regarding the relationship… p between research paradigms and research methods, particularly in determining the approach that best suits the research objectives. This study aims to analyze the concept of research paradigms and their relationship to the selection of research methods. The study employs a qualitative approach using library research through the analysis of various relevant scientific sources, including books, journal articles, and conference proceedings. Data were analyzed using content analysis to identify and synthesize various concepts related to research paradigms and methods. The results indicate that research paradigms—such as positivism, post-positivism, interpretivism, constructivism, pragmatism, and the critical paradigm—possess distinct characteristics that influence the selection of research methods. Furthermore, the pragmatist paradigm serves as the dominant foundation for the use of mixed methods. This study makes a theoretical contribution by clarifying the relationship between research paradigms and research methods and serves as a practical reference for researchers in determining the appropriate research approach.

Belasa, Sitra Yani, Paledung, Marannu, Tijahahu, Sheilla Vilensia, Unawekla, Dean Marchia, Mantouw, Rosdiana Yudith, Salamor, Feliks Jhonrey, Malik, Wahyu, Rompas, Shean Juan, Belasa, Nurlina
Abstract: Plastic waste is an environmental problem that continues to increase along with the development of community economic activities, especially in traditional market areas. Mardika Market, Ambon City, as a center of trade and… nd community economic activities, produces a fairly high volume of plastic waste, requiring effective and sustainable management. This study aims to analyze plastic waste management and its implications for community economic activities in the Mardika Market area of Ambon City. The study used a qualitative descriptive method with a literature study and document analysis approach. Data were obtained from publications from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the National Waste Management Information System (SIPSN), scientific journals, government reports, and various relevant documents. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that plastic waste management in the Mardika Market area still faces various challenges, including the high use of single-use plastics, limited community participation, and the suboptimal implementation of the Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle (3R) principles. These conditions have implications for the cleanliness and comfort of the market environment, which can affect community economic activities, especially visitor comfort and trading activities. Therefore, synergy between the government, traders, and the community is needed to improve the effectiveness of plastic waste management to support the creation of a clean, comfortable, and productive market environment.

Analisis Miskonsepsi Siswa SMA Pada Materi Gelombang Stasioner Ujung Bebas Dan Strategi Penanganannya

Herman Jufri Andi, Chairatul Umamah, Lailatul Qomariyah

Neurodiversity in Human Resource Management: A Bibliometric Analysis and Research Agenda for Indonesia

Rahmawati, Andi
Abstract: Neurodiversity conceptualizes autism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, and related cognitive differences as natural variations in human cognition rather than individual deficits. Although this perspective… erspective has gained increasing attention in human resource management (HRM), the intellectual structure and relevance of the existing literature to the Indonesian context remain insufficiently understood. This study maps the development of global research on neurodiversity and HRM and identifies research priorities for Indonesia. A bibliometric analysis was conducted using 993 records retrieved through a Boolean search combining neurodiversity- and HRM-related terms. Following a PRISMA-guided screening process, keyword co-occurrence, density, overlay, and total link-strength analyses were performed using VOSviewer. The analysis identified 43 dominant terms grouped into four thematic clusters: (1) inclusive HRM and diversity management, (2) workplace accommodation and disclosure, (3) intervention and school-to-work transition, and (4) ADHD and occupational mental health. The findings indicate that autism spectrum disorder and ADHD remain the most prominent topics in the literature. The field has gradually shifted from predominantly clinical and educational perspectives in 2020–2021 toward workplace accommodation in 2022 and more strategic HRM-oriented discussions during 2023–2024. However, link-strength analysis reveals that relationships between core HRM concepts and issues of accommodation, disclosure, and occupational mental health remain relatively fragmented. Moreover, Indonesia-specific and developing-country perspectives are absent from the dominant keyword structure. These findings demonstrate a substantial geographical and conceptual research gap. Accordingly, the study proposes five priority research themes to advance neurodiversity-inclusive HRM in Indonesia and provides a foundation for future empirical, policy-oriented, and organizational research.

Co-Production and Collaborative Networking In The Public Entrepreneurship Ecosystem

Wicaksono, Deni, Wardiyanto , Bistoro
Abstract: Public service innovation in the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia has been historically dominated by the managerial logic of New Public Management, which positions efficiency and quantitative… uantitative targets as the measure of success. This approach fails to build long-term relational capacity among entrepreneurs, government, and the broader supporting ecosystem. This article analyses HETERO SPACE (House of Entrepreneurs, Technology-driven Ecosystem, Resource Optimization, Supportive Programs, Accessible Network, Collaborative Environment), a public service innovation developed by the Cooperatives and SME Office of Central Java Province, which received outstanding recognition in the 2025 Public Service Innovation Competition. The analysis applies a New Public Governance framework with emphasis on two sub-theoretical dimensions, namely co-production and collaborative networking. The research approach is a qualitative case study drawing on secondary data from the official Public Service Innovation System, implementation reports of the Central Java Cooperatives and SME Office, and relevant academic literature. The central argument is that HETERO SPACE is not merely an expanded MSME assistance programmed but a transition in the role of government from a sole service provider to an ecosystem orchestrator that mobilizes resources across actors. Findings indicate that HETERO SPACE success rests on three interrelated conditions, namely a platform design that facilitates inter-actor encounters, trust built through repeated interaction, and institutional commitment from the provincial government to share authority with non-state partners. The article contributes to Indonesian public administration literature by shifting the analytical arena of co-production from the social and health sectors to economic governance, and by demonstrating that New Public Governance principles can be operationalized concretely at the subnational level.

Does Dividend Stability Signal Firm Performance? Evidence from PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk

Anwar, Indah Lestari, Ramli, Anwar
Abstract: This study analyzes the dividend policy of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) during the 2020–2025 period using a quantitative descriptive approach and a longitudinal case study based on secondary data from audited… ed financial reports. The variables analyzed include Dividend Per Share (DPS), Earnings Per Share (EPS), Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR), Dividend Yield, and Free Cash Flow (FCF), with trend analysis using the Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR). The results show that DPS grows 6.05% per year, higher than EPS of 1.87%, resulting in DPR increasing from 80.00% to 93.95% in 2024. Nevertheless, strong and stable operating cash flow ensures that dividends remain supported by FCF, so there is no indication of financial distress. However, the increasing FCF-to-dividend ratio indicates the company's increasingly limited reinvestment space. The decline in net profit of 20.48% in 2025 also increases the risk of dividend policy sustainability. Furthermore, the increase in dividend yield was more influenced by stock price declines than dividend growth. This finding suggests that SOE dividend stability reflects not only fundamental performance but also institutional pressure from the government as the controlling shareholder, supporting the relevance of Agency Theory and Catering Theory in explaining dividend policy of state-owned enterprises in emerging markets

The Role of Competition Law in Regulating Corporate Conduct, Protecting Consumers and Enhancing Economic Efficiency

Bahrudin, Muhammad, Prabowo, Anang, Sujianto, Agus Eko
Abstract: This study aims to examine the role of competition law in regulating corporate conduct, protecting consumers, and enhancing economic efficiency in contemporary market economies. Amid increasing market concentration, digital… tal platform dominance, and the emergence of data-driven business models, competition law has become an essential regulatory instrument for ensuring fair competition, safeguarding consumer interests, and promoting sustainable economic development. This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the PRISMA 2020 framework. Relevant literature was systematically collected from six major academic databases, namely Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, Emerald Insight, and Taylor & Francis Online. The review process included identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and inclusion stages. A total of 78 peer-reviewed articles published between 2015 and 2025 were selected and analyzed using thematic synthesis techniques. The findings reveal that competition law performs four interconnected functions. First, it serves as a regulatory mechanism that shapes corporate behavior and prevents anticompetitive practices, including monopolization, cartel agreements, price-fixing, and abuse of dominant positions. Second, competition law enhances consumer welfare by promoting competitive prices, product quality, innovation, and consumer choice. Third, effective competition policy contributes to allocative, productive, and dynamic efficiency, thereby supporting long-term economic growth. Fourth, digital markets introduce new challenges associated with data concentration, platform dominance, network effects, and algorithmic pricing, requiring adaptive regulatory frameworks and strengthened institutional capacity. This study contributes to the literature by integrating Economic Efficiency Theory, Consumer Welfare Theory, Competition Policy Theory, and Regulatory Governance Theory into a comprehensive analytical framework that explains the relationship between competition law, corporate conduct regulation, consumer protection, and economic efficiency. The findings provide policy recommendations for competition authorities and governments, particularly in developing economies, regarding digital competition governance, institutional strengthening, cross-border enforcement cooperation, and data-driven market regulation.Unlike previous studies that focus on isolated dimensions of competition law, this research offers a holistic synthesis of legal, economic, consumer welfare, and governance perspectives. It further highlights how competition law can address emerging challenges in the digital economy while simultaneously promoting consumer protection and economic efficiency.
