Abstract:The problem of poverty is still the main challenge for development in rural areas of Indonesia. Limited employment opportunities and low access to productive economic activities cause some village communities to be economically…
mically vulnerable. One of the sectors that is considered to have great potential in reducing poverty levels is Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This article aims to conceptually examine the role of MSMEs in efforts to reduce poverty in rural communities by taking the context of Bantaeng Regency. The writing method uses a qualitative-descriptive approach through literature studies of scientific journals, reference books, and relevant official government documents published in the last five years. The results of the study show that MSMEs play a role as a driver of the local economy through the creation of job opportunities, increasing household income, and strengthening the economic independence of communities based on local potential. However, the development of MSMEs in rural areas is still faced with various structural obstacles, such as limited capital, low managerial capacity of business actors, and limited market access. Therefore, policy support and cross-stakeholder synergy are needed to optimize the role of MSMEs as an instrument to reduce poverty in rural areas
Abstract:The development of financial technology has encouraged the transformation of the digital payment system in Indonesia, one of which is through the implementation of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) developed…
oped by Bank Indonesia to integrate various QR code-based payment services. This payment system is expected to be able to improve transaction efficiency, speed up the payment process, and expand financial inclusion for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). However, the adoption rate of digital payment technology in the MSME sector still faces various challenges, both related to technological aspects, user psychological factors, and the influence of the social environment. This study aims to systematically examine the influence of constructs in the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT3) on the interest of MSMEs in using the QRIS payment system at Bank Syariah Indonesia with trust and perceived ease of use as mediation variables. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA approach to identify, select, and analyze relevant scientific articles in the 2020–2025 period. The literature search process produced 2,395 articles from a database of reputable scientific journals, then an elimination process was carried out based on inclusion and exclusion criteria so that 71 articles were obtained that were eligible for further analysis. The study stages were carried out systematically through the process of identification, screening, feasibility assessment, and determination of final articles. The results of the study show that the main constructs in the technology acceptance model such as performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions have an important influence on interest in using digital payment technology. In addition, additional factors such as trust and perceived ease of use have been proven to act as mediating variables that strengthen the relationship between technology construct and the intention to use QRIS by MSME actors. Trust in system security and ease of use of technology are crucial factors in increasing user confidence in digital payment services, especially in the context of Islamic banking-based financial services. The findings of this study provide a theoretical contribution to the development of a digital payment technology acceptance model based on UTAUT3 and provide practical implications for financial institutions and regulators in increasing the adoption of QRIS among MSME actors. The next research is suggested to develop an empirical model with a quantitative approach to test the relationship between variables more comprehensively in the context of the digital economy in Indonesia.
Abstract:This study examines the rapid expansion of the coffee shop industry in Makassar City as a phenomenon that creates not only economic opportunities but also increasing competitive saturation. As coffee shops in Makassar have…
ve developed beyond places of beverage consumption into urban social spaces linked to lifestyle, sociability, symbolic visibility, and identity formation, competition has become denser and more complex. The study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of how coffee shop owners and managers experience, interpret, and respond to this increasingly crowded market. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, the research employed in-depth semi-structured interviews with business actors involved in strategic and operational decision-making, supported by contextual observation and business-related documents. The findings reveal five main themes: market growth is experienced as both opportunity and pressure; similarity among coffee shops increases vulnerability and reduces perceived distinctiveness; entrepreneurs rely on continuous adaptation rather than fixed strategies; business sustainability is understood as stability, relevance, and survival rather than expansion alone; and competition is shaped not only by product and price, but also by ambience, visibility, symbolic value, and lifestyle alignment.
Abstract:This narrative review explores whether high-potential workers (HiPo) within Indonesian organizations across various sectors consistently exhibit elevated levels of emotional intelligence (EI), and it assesses the relevance…
ce of the Competency Based Model proposed by Boyatzis in the identification and development of HiPos. The review compiles freely accessible scholarly articles from 2024 to 2025, with a focus on research from Indonesia and includes one primary benchmark study on high-potential individuals for comparison, as studies specific to Indonesian HiPo are scarce. Findings reveal that being classified as a HiPo does not necessarily correlate with having high EI. Research directly related to high potential employees indicates that cognitive-intrapersonal skills such as initiative, desire for learning, and the ability to think outside conventional limits are stronger indicators of high potential than emotional-interpersonal skills. Research from various Indonesian sectors, including manufacturing, energy, construction, and public services, suggests that while EI plays a significant role in enhancing employee productivity, work performance, job satisfaction, and effectiveness in management, its influence typically operates through mediating factors instead of serving as a direct predictor. Furthermore, talent management research in Indonesia shows that numerous organizations still depend on performance evaluations and fragmented methods instead of comprehensive competency frameworks. This review concludes that the Competency Based Model is relevant in Indonesian organizations across different sectors; however, it should be viewed as encompassing a range of competencies rather than a single attribute. While EI is valuable, it is not an essential or sufficient criterion for determining high-potential employees.
Abstract:This research investigates how financial literacy affects the financial behaviors of students on Lombok Island. Utilizing a quantitative methodology, the study surveyed 110 students to gather relevant data. The findings…
reveal that a higher level of financial literacy has a substantial positive impact on students' financial habits and decision-making processes. Conversely, the role of financial technology (fintech) was found to be substantial in influencing or moderating these behaviors within the studied population. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of enhancing financial literacy programs to foster more responsible and informed financial practices among students. Developing such initiatives can contribute to better financial stability and decision-making skills in the future
Abstract:This study aims to develop and implement a sustainability reporting framework for Tulungrejo Village based on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards. Unlike evaluative studies, this research focuses on designing…
a village sustainability report that had not previously been available. The research process involved identifying sustainability issues, engaging stakeholders, and conducting a materiality analysis in accordance with GRI 3 to determine relevant topics. The selected material topics were then mapped into GRI 200 (economic), 300 (environmental), and 400 (social) standards, and compiled using the “with reference” approach. The findings indicate that village sustainability reporting can be implemented adaptively by selecting indicators that align with the village’s characteristics and capacity. This study proposes a GRI-based sustainability reporting framework that can serve as a practical guideline for village governments to enhance transparency and accountability in resource management.
Abstract:This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of literature (2015-2025) on Indonesian stock market resilience to Federal Reserve monetary policy shocks. Data were collected from Google Scholar using Publish or Perish 8 with…
h relevant keywords. A total of 82 publications with 476 citations (h-index = 9) were identified. VOSviewer was used for bibliometric analysis to map keyword co-occurrence in titles and abstracts. Network visualization revealed three dominant clusters: (1) Federal Reserve monetary policy and capital flow spillovers, (2) market volatility and investor behavior, and (3) financial resilience and domestic policy responses. The overlay timeline indicated a shift from spillover and volatility issues in mid-decade to resilience topics in recent years. The literature suggests that while the Indonesian stock market remains sensitive to Fed rate changes, it has shown growing resilience due to proactive domestic policy interventions
Abstract:This study aims to analyze the effect of increasing servicescape and modernization of Public Fuel Filling Station (SPBU) services on the purchase decision of Pertamax Series products with perceived value as a mediating variable.…
ariable. This study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach combined with bibliometric analysis to identify, map, and synthesize relevant research developments related to the quality of the service environment, modernization of fuel retail services, perceived value by consumers, and purchasing decisions. Research data was obtained from various reputable scientific articles indexed in academic databases such as Scopus and Google Scholar with a range of publications of the last ten years. The literature selection process is carried out systematically through the stages of identification, screening, feasibility, and inclusion using the PRISMA guidelines. Bibliometric analysis is used to map research trends, author collaboration, and keyword linkages analyzed using VOSviewer software. The results of the study show that increasing servicescape such as facility comfort, cleanliness, physical design, and the availability of supporting facilities is able to increase consumer perception of gas station services. In addition, service modernization through payment digitalization, self-service systems, and technology-based service innovations also strengthen customer experience. The combination of these two factors has been proven to increase perceived value which ultimately encourages consumers to make a decision to purchase Pertamax Series products. The findings of this study make a conceptual contribution to the development of a study of consumer behavior in the energy retail sector and provide practical implications for petrol station managers in designing strategies to improve service quality and modernize facilities to increase consumer preference for high-quality fuels.
Abstract:This study aims to systematically analyze the influence of ease of use and product safety on sales increase with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach combined…
d with bibliometric analysis. The research method uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with SLR techniques to identify, select, and analyze relevant scientific articles from various academic databases in a given publication period. The literature selection process is carried out through the stages of identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion so that a number of articles that meet the inclusion criteria are obtained. Bibliometric analysis is used to map research trends, author collaborations, and developments on topics related to ease of use, product safety, customer satisfaction, and sales improvement. The results of the study show that the ease of use of products or services contributes significantly to the perception of value and customer comfort in using the product, which ultimately increases the level of satisfaction. In addition, product safety is also an important factor that affects customer trust so as to strengthen consumer satisfaction and loyalty. Customer satisfaction has been shown to play a role as a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between ease of use and product safety to increased sales. The findings of this study confirm that companies need to optimize aspects of ease of use and product safety as a strategy to increase customer satisfaction and encourage sustainable sales growth. This study also makes theoretical and practical contributions in the development of marketing literature and consumer management, especially related to the integration of SLR approaches and bibliometric analysis in understanding the dynamics of factors that influence sales increases.
