PENGELOMPOKAN DATA PENDUDUK MISKIN DI SUMATERA UTARA MENGGUNAKAN K-MEANS

Safitri, Ayu, Rahmawati, Rizki, Wandira, Sri Ayu
Abstract: Abstract: The government has made many efforts to eradicate poverty in society by implementing programs such as pro-poor, basic food assistance and cash assistance which are useful for achieving the standards of a prosperous… rous society. The results of data processing are useful in future decision making. Considering the large amount of public data, finding out poor people is not an easy thing for the government to do, as is the case in North Sumatra. This research uses the K-Means Clustering (Multidimensional) method, making it easier to see patterns and structures in data that are difficult to see in the original representation. The application of the K-Means Clustering (Multidimensional) algorithm produces 3 clusters with a silhouette_score value of 33, namely cluster 0 with a high level of population poverty of 1, cluster 1 with a moderate level of population poverty of 4 and cluster 2 with a low level of population poverty as many as 28.

FPR-CONSTRAINED HYBRID DEEP LEARNING FOR IOT ANOMALY DETECTION

Nurkamila, Salma, Widodo, Suprih
Abstract: Abstract: Existing IoT anomaly detection studies have achieved high classification performance, but most focus on accuracy and F1-score without explicitly controlling the false positive rate (FPR). In addition, many approaches… oaches rely on a single detection perspective, limiting their operational reliability. To address this gap, this study proposes a hybrid anomaly detection framework integrating Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), Shannon entropy, and autoencoder reconstruction error. Shannon entropy is incorporated as an additional feature, while LSTM and the autoencoder capture temporal and reconstruction characteristics. The resulting hybrid representation is processed by a constraint-based threshold selection mechanism that enforces FPR . Experiments on the TON-IoT and Edge-IIoTset datasets achieved average F1-scores of 0.9250 and 0.9934, while maintaining average FPR values of 0.0091 and 0.0714, respectively. Analysis of entropy distributions showed consistent differences between normal and anomalous traffic across both datasets, indicating that Shannon entropy provides discriminative information for anomaly detection. These results demonstrate strong detection performance with controlled false alarms, while ablation studies confirm the significant contribution of Shannon entropy to overall model performance. Keywords: false positive rate; hybrid deep learning; Internet of Things; network anomaly detection; Shannon entropy     Abstrak: Penelitian deteksi anomali Internet of Things (IoT) telah menunjukkan performa klasifikasi yang tinggi, namun sebagian besar masih berfokus pada accuracy dan F1-score tanpa mengendalikan false positive rate (FPR) secara eksplisit. Kata kunci: deteksi anomali jaringan; false positive rate; hybrid deep learning; Internet of Things; Shannon entropy

The Existential Hope for Love in Sheerwood Anderson's The Dumb Man

Mohammed, Khaled Ahmed, Setiadi, Kostavialdus, Pasopati, Rommel Utungga, Firda, Erlis Hersetya, Ramadhani, Riska Dewi, Margaretha, Sherlly
Abstract: The research takes an insight look into the complicated representation of love, using the short story of The Dumb Man by Sherwood Anderson within the existentialism framework. The deaf and mute protagonist becomes a metaphor… phor for the universal human condition in his search for love and communication amidst a society that cares less. In his tacit quest for love, Anderson exemplifies an existentialist perspective: Love is not a desire—one feels—but a highly conscious effort to assert one's existence in reality, both freely chosen and constrained by society. This analysis is conducted through qualitative method and explorative approach in unpacking meaning from the narrative, with the contention that hopes for love functions as a central vehicle for self-transformation. It is in this quest for love that this story wrestles through the tension of aloneness with man's need to connect, representative of the complex, intertwined relationship between individual independence and the world outside. Ultimately, through this story, how it unfolds existentialism culminates into the relentless, sometimes painful pursuit of love—thereby bringing out the core role of existentialism in the journey towards self-actualization and insight into the human condition.

Abstract: This study aims to examine the application of the High-Low method, Scatterplot, and Least Squares in cost analysis, particularly in separating fixed and variable cost behavior. The research uses a library research approach… ch by collecting and reviewing literature from textbooks, journals, and official publications related to cost estimation and cost behavior modeling. The findings indicate that the High-Low method is simple because it uses only the highest and lowest activity levels, but its accuracy is limited due to reliance on extreme data points. The Scatterplot method provides a visual representation of the relationship between cost and activity, helping identify patterns and potential outliers; however, its results may vary due to subjective judgment in determining the cost line. Meanwhile, the Least Squares method is considered the most accurate because it utilizes all available data to produce the best-fit regression line, although it requires more complex calculations and statistical understanding. Overall, the selection of the most suitable method depends on the objective of the analysis, data availability, and the level of accuracy required
