The Influence Of Compensation And Benefits, Work Environment, And Employee Demographics On Employee Performance Mediated By Motivation In Paper Manufacturing Companies

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of compensation and benefits, work environment, and employee demographics on employee performance mediated by motivation in quantitative manufacturing companies using a survey method.… hod. The research population was all employees, with a sample of 104 employees selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The study's results indicate that compensation and benefits have a positive and significant impact on employee performance and motivation. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on motivation, but it does not have a direct effect on employee performance. Employee demographics have no significant effect on employee motivation or performance. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and has been shown to mediate the relationship between compensation and benefits, as well as the work environment, on employee performance. This research provides practical implications for company management in improving employee performance through improved compensation systems, conducive work environments, and increased work motivation.

Economic factors, such as reasonable tax rates and the enforcement of effective penalties, play a… significant role in improving compliance. Additionally, social-psychological aspects, including increased tax awareness, trust in government, and social norms, are critical in influencing taxpayer behavior. Demographic characteristics, such as age, education, and income levels, also affect compliance likelihood. To foster higher tax compliance, governments must adopt a comprehensive strategy that combines economic incentives, social influence, and educational initiatives. Addressing these diverse factors can lead to a more efficient tax system and encourage voluntary compliance among taxpayers.

Abstract: This study aims to analyze consumer segmentation in the traditional culinary business of a Madurese duck rice and fried chicken restaurant in Konawe Regency. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection… lection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants consisted of the owner, employees, and customers who had visited the restaurant two or more times. The analysis was conducted based on four types of market segmentation: geographic, demographic, psychographic, and behavioral. The results of this study indicate that this restaurant has a fairly broad market segment, encompassing both local and out-of-town customers, with consumers predominantly students, office workers, and families. Authentic taste, affordable prices, and fast service are the main factors attracting customers. Geographic segmentation indicates potential for expansion due to the increase in out-of-town visitors on weekends. Demographic and psychographic segmentation indicate that customers have a high interest in traditional, spicy dishes. Behavioral segmentation indicates the presence of loyal customers and repeat purchasing patterns. These findings provide important recommendations for businesses to develop more effective marketing strategies tailored to the characteristics of their target market.

THE IMPACT OF INSTAGRAM INSIGHT UTILIZATION ON CONSUMER PURCHASE DECISIONS AT RUMAH MADU IN BANDAR LAMPUNG

Abstract: The rapid development of digital marketing has significantly transformed business strategies, particularly for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Instagram has evolved beyond a social networking platform into… a strategic marketing tool equipped with analytical features such as Instagram Insight. This study aims to examine the effect of Instagram Insight utilization on consumer purchase decisions at Rumah Madu, an MSME operating in Bandar Lampung, Indonesia. This research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected from 92 respondents through structured questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS version 27. The independent variable is the utilization of Instagram Insight, measured through three dimensions: follower demographic analysis, follower active time analysis, and content performance analysis. The dependent variable is consumer purchase decision. Statistical analysis includes validity and reliability testing, classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity), simple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results suggest that Instagram Insight functions primarily as an internal strategic evaluation tool rather than a direct determinant of consumer purchasing behavior. This study contributes to the digital marketing literature by highlighting the gap between analytic tool utilization and actual consumer conversion in MSMEs. Practical implications emphasize the need for better data interpretation skills and integrated marketing strategies beyond analytics usage alone.

EARLY HIV DETECTION: A DESCRIPTIVE STUDY USING RAPID DIAGNOSTIC TESTS AT THE MARINA PERMAI COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER

Research This aim For analyze effectiveness of the Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) as method detection early HIV in the workplace Marina Permai… Community Health Center 2025. Research​ use design descriptive with total sample of 58 people who did HIV test . Examination done use Three immunochromatographic RDT strategies : ViroCheck ® HIV 1/2, Arkan Medical One Step Anti-HIV (1/2), and d3TEKS1 HIV 1/2 Antibody Rapid Test. Research results show that Of the 58 respondents , 5 people (9%) indicated results reactive and 53 people (91%) non- reactive . Based on characteristics demographics , cases reactive found in 3 women (5%), 2 men (3%), with distribution largest in the group aged 18–59 years (4 people, 7%) and 1 case (2%) in the group aged 0–5 years . This study conclude that immunochromatographic RDT effective as tool detection early HIV at the level service primary health with sensitivity and specificity high . Findings This support use of RDT as screening beginning in HIV prevention and control programs in facilities health community . THE INFLUENCE OF DIGITAL LITERACY, FINANCIAL LITERACY, GENDER, AND FEAR OF MISSING OUT (FOMO) ON STOCK INVESTMENT DECISIONS WITH INFORMATION DISCLOSURE AS A MEDIATING VARIABLE AMONG GENERATIONS Y AND Z IN WEST JAVA

Abstract: The This study is based on the phenomenon of increasing investment losses and FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) in Indonesia, with illegal investment losses amounting to IDR 139 trillion and FOMO among young people rising to 80%… % by 2024. This trend aligns with the growing number of investors and digital literacy in Indonesia, particularly in Java, which has the highest concentration of investors. The large population of Generations Y and Z in West Java serves as the subject of this research, highlighting the gap between financial literacy (56.10%) and financial inclusion (88.31%). This reinforces the urgency of this study. Information disclosure is considered crucial in reducing information asymmetry and managing risk in investment decision-making. The main objective of this study is to examine the direct and indirect effects of digital literacy, financial literacy, gender, and FOMO on stock investment decisions, as well as to test the role of information disclosure. A quantitative approach is used, with a questionnaire distributed to 443 respondents from Generations Y and Z in West Java, all of whom have investment experience in stocks. The purposive sampling technique was used, and data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to test model validity, reliability, and relationships between variables. The results show that digital literacy, financial literacy, gender, and FOMO significantly affect stock investment decisions. Information disclosure mediates the relationship between financial literacy, gender, and FOMO on investment decisions but does not mediate the relationship between digital literacy and investment decisions. Furthermore, information disclosure positively influences stock investment decisions, emphasizing the importance of transparency. This study contributes to the development of a theoretical model that highlights the role of market discipline through information disclosure. Practically, the findings can guide OJK and companies in designing digital-financial literacy programs and improving information transparency to prevent investment fraud and increase investor confidence. The study suggests that investors should enhance their understanding of investment risks and critically assess available information. Limitations include the focus on Generations Y and Z in West Java using purposive sampling, and the exclusion of other factors like education. The self-report quantitative method may lead to bias, and cross-sectional data does not capture changes in investment behavior over time. Future research is recommended to expand the demographic sample, include additional variables, and use a mixed-method approach for more comprehensive results.

ENVIRONMENTAL ATTITUDE AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY PRODUCTS TOWARDS PURCHASE INTENTION OF TANIMBAR IKAT WOVEN GREEN PRODUCTS

Abstract: This study examines consumer behavior towards sustainable products, specifically investigating the influence of environmental attitudes and green product attributes on green purchase intention among Tanimbar Ikat Weaving… consumers in Tanimbar Islands Regency. Employing a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis through SmartPLS software, data were collected from 385 respondents selected via purposive sampling based on consumers who knew and had purchased Tanimbar woven products. The research tested direct relationships and moderating effects of premium price, education, and gender variables. Results revealed that environmental attitudes (β = 0.349; t = 5.306; p = 0.000) and green product attributes (β = 0.207; t = 3.014; p = 0.003) significantly and positively influence green purchase intention, with the model explaining 60.7% of the variance (R² = 0.607) and demonstrating strong predictive relevance (Q² = 0.539). However, the three moderating variables—premium price, education, and gender—did not significantly strengthen or weaken these relationships, indicating that environmental consciousness and product perception remain dominant factors regardless of demographic or economic considerations. These findings provide practical implications for traditional craft entrepreneurs in developing sustainability-based marketing strategies and empowering the local creative economy, while contributing to the sustainable development goals through cultural preservation and environmental conservation in Indonesia's eastern region.

POPULATION DYNAMICS AND THE CHALLENGES OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract: This study aims to analyze population dynamics and the challenges of sustainable development in Indonesia from a social, economic, and environmental perspective. Population dynamics, including population growth, urbanization,… tion, internal migration, and changes in demographic structure, have become determining factors in the success of development. The method used is a qualitative approach with a literature review sourced from official documents, scientific journals, and reports from international institutions. The results show that rapid population growth and uncontrolled urbanization have led to spatial inequality, reduced green open space, pressure on public infrastructure, and increased environmental degradation. Furthermore, unpreparedness in spatial planning and weak integration of population data into development policies exacerbate socio-economic imbalances between regions. The shift in demographic structure toward a predominance of the productive age group presents the opportunity for a demographic bonus, but also the risk of a demographic burden if not balanced by improvements in the quality of human resources. This study emphasizes that successful sustainable development requires data-driven, gender-equitable, environmentally friendly, and participatory population policies. The integration of technologies such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial analysis is a strategic step in realizing inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable development for future generations.

THE ROLE OF PSYCHOLOGICAL CAPITAL AS A PREDICTOR OF NURSES' ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR IN REGIONAL HOSPITALS

Abstract: Nurses, as the frontline of healthcare services, are expected to deliver optimal performance that frequently goes beyond their formal duties, thus requiring robust psychological capital to support voluntary work behaviors… s known as Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). This study aims to analyze the effect of Psychological Capital (PsyCap), which comprises hope, efficacy, resilience, and optimism, on nurses' OCB in regional hospitals and to identify the most dominant dimension influencing OCB. Employing a quantitative correlational approach, this research collected primary data through structured questionnaires distributed to nurses as respondents. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, multiple regression analysis, and moderated regression analysis to test variable relationships and the moderating effects of demographic factors. The results indicate that the levels of PsyCap and OCB among nurses are relatively high, with resilience emerging as the most significant predictor of OCB. These findings strengthen the position of PsyCap as an essential psychological resource that fosters prosocial behaviors among nurses, especially in regional hospitals often challenged by limited human resources. The implications suggest that hospital management should design PsyCap enhancement programs, focusing particularly on strengthening nurses' mental resilience to sustainably improve healthcare service quality. This study also contributes theoretically by enriching the literature on organizational behavior within the Indonesian healthcare sector.
