FORMULATION OF DANGE CAKE WITH MORINGA (MORINGA OLEIFERA) LEAF FLOUR SUBSTITUTION AS AN IRON-RICH SNACK FOR THE PREVENTION OF ANEMIA IN ADOLESCENT GIRLS

Mappincara, Aulia Febrianti, Syahruddin, Syahruddin, Putra, Guruh Amir
Abstract: Iron deficiency anemia remains a nutritional problem among adolescent girls, making the development of acceptable local food products rich in iron important. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of Moringa oleifera leaf… af flour substitution on the organoleptic characteristics, iron content, and proximate composition of dange cake and to determine the best formulation. An experimental study using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was conducted with four formulations: F1 (0 g), F2 (12 g), F3 (25 g), and F4 (37 g) Moringa leaf flour. Organoleptic testing used a 1–5 hedonic scale involving 30 untrained adolescent-girl panelists. Data were analyzed using the Kruskal–Wallis test because the organoleptic data were not normally distributed. The results showed no significant differences in color (p=0.543), aroma (p=0.067), or texture (p=0.085), whereas taste differed significantly (p<0.001). F2 had the highest mean rank for color (67.10), aroma (70.73), taste (82.27), and texture (68.70), and was therefore selected as the best formulation. Laboratory analysis of F2 showed protein 5.16%, fat 4.04%, carbohydrate 63.35%, moisture 23.75%, ash 1.70%, crude fiber 4.65%, and iron 17.10 mg/g as reported in the research results. The findings indicate that dange cake with 12 g Moringa leaf flour substitution has good sensory acceptance and potential to be developed as an iron-rich snack to support anemia prevention among adolescent girls.

NUTRITIONAL QUALITY, SENSORY ACCEPTABILITY, AND ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY OF FUNCTIONAL STEAMED SPONGE CAKE (BOLU KUKUS) FORTIFIED WITH PUMPKIN (CUCURBITA MOSCHATA) AND GREEN PEA FLOURS

Limin, Yoana Kusumaningsih, Marlina, Paramitha Wirdani Ningsih
Abstract: Steamed sponge cake (bolu kukus) is a widely consumed traditional snack in Indonesia; however, its reliance on refined wheat flour limits its micronutrient and dietary fiber density. Incorporating composite flours from indigenous… ndigenous crops, such as tropical pumpkin (Cucurbita moschata) and green pea (Vigna radiata L.), offers a promising strategy for nutritional fortification and dietary diversification. This study aimed to evaluate the proximate composition, sensory acceptability, statistical differences, and production cost feasibility of steamed sponge cakes formulated with varying proportions of pumpkin and green pea flours as partial replacements for refined wheat flour. An experimental design was applied using three formulations: AF09 (Control: 100% wheat flour), BW91 (10% pumpkin flour, 20% green pea flour), and CB88 (15% pumpkin flour, 15% green pea flour). Proximate testing measured moisture, ash, protein, fat, crude fiber, and total carbohydrates (by difference). Sensory acceptance (color, aroma, taste, and texture) was evaluated by 50 semi-trained panelists using a hedonic scale. Data were analyzed non-parametrically using Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Kruskal-Wallis, and post-hoc Mann-Whitney tests. All formulations complied with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI 01-3840-1995) for moisture (31.69%–33.74%), total ash (0.66%–1.05%), crude protein (5.80%–6.65%), and crude fat (1.64%–2.82%). Formula CB88 achieved the highest crude fiber content (0.69%) and lower total energy density (269.88 kcal/100 g). Kruskal-Wallis testing indicated statistically significant differences (p<0.05) among formulations for color, taste, and texture, while aroma exhibited no significant variation (p=0.672). Formula CB88 emerged as the optimal treatment, receiving superior sensory acceptance ratings for color (90% liked) and crumb softness (88% liked) driven by natural β-carotene and pectin-moisture gelation. Production cost analysis demonstrated high economic feasibility for CB88 at IDR 3,374 per 55 g serving. Partial substitution with 15% pumpkin flour and 15% green pea flour (Formula CB88) yields a nutrient-dense, fiber-enriched, and cost-effective functional snack suitable for targeted school nutrition and dietary diversification programs.

What Drives Continuous Viewing of Short Form Drama? The Role of Viewing Motivation and Flow Experience

Azmi, Mufidatul, Muhaidir Ikram, Nidrah
Abstract: The rapid expansion of short-form video platforms has reshaped the way audiences engage with digital entertainment. Among these formats, short-form drama has emerged as a distinctive narrative genre characterized by episodic… odic storytelling within brief viewing durations. Despite its increasing popularity, empirical research explaining the psychological mechanisms underlying Continuous Viewing Intention in short-form drama remains limited. This study investigates the influence of Viewing Motivation on Flow Experience and Continuous Viewing Intention. In this study, Viewing Motivation is conceptualized as a higher-order construct comprising Performance Expectancy, Social Influence, Hedonic Motivation, Habit, Substitute Expectancy, and Aesthetic Motivation. Data were collected through an online survey involving 140 respondents in Makassar who actively consume short-form drama content. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicate that Viewing Motivation significantly influences both Flow Experience and Continuous Viewing Intention. Furthermore, Flow Experience significantly affects Continuous Viewing Intention and mediates the relationship between Viewing Motivation and Continuous Viewing Intention. These findings underscore the importance of motivational drivers and immersive viewing experiences in fostering sustained engagement with short-form drama content

FROM CREDIBILITY TO CONSUMPTION: A CROSS CONTEXTUAL REVIEW OF PARASOCIAL INTERACTION AND PURCHASE INTENTION IN INFLUENCER MARKETING

Desinta, Nia Widya
Abstract: The rapid advancement of digital technology has fundamentally reshaped consumer behavior globally, with social media becoming the primary channel for product information seeking. Approximately 51% of Indonesians rely on… user reviews before purchasing, and 62% have bought products under the direct influence of Social Media Influencers (SMIs). Despite this, the psychological mechanisms linking influencer characteristics to purchase intention remain fragmented across sectors and platforms. This systematic literature review synthesizes nineteen empirical studies published between 2020 and 2025, spanning beauty, fashion, gadget, and sustainable product sectors across multiple countries, to examine how Source Credibility (attractiveness, trustworthiness, expertise) and Parasocial Interaction (PSI) jointly shape consumer purchase intentions. Three core findings emerge: (1) trustworthiness is the sole credibility dimension that is universally and consistently significant across all contexts, fundamentally challenging assumptions about the equal contribution of the three credibility dimensions; (2) PSI operates not as a single mediator but as a multi-pathway psychological bridge through hedonic value, brand attitude, vicarious experience, and social-personal value whose specific active pathway is contingent on platform, product type, and cultural context; and (3) generational and cultural moderators systematically shape which credibility dimension most powerfully drives PSI. A Proposed Integrative Conceptual Framework and a synthetic cross-study comparison matrix (Table 2) consolidate these findings. Results offer strategic implications for influencer marketing practice and identify priority directions for future research.

THE INFLUENCE OF FEAR OF MISSING OUT (FOMO) AND HEDONIC SHOPPING ON IMPULSE BUYING WITH SELF-CONTROL AS A MODERATING VARIABLE AMONG STUDENT SHOPEE USERS (A CASE STUDY OF STUDENTS FROM THE FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS, UNIVERSITAS NEGERI GORONTALO, CLASS OF 2022)

Abullah, Aditya Febriansyah, Asnawi, Melan Angriani, Isa, Ramlan Amir
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), hedonic shopping, and self-control on impulse buying among students who use Shopee, as well as to examine the role of self-control as a moderating variable.… able. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method involving students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, class of 2022, as respondents. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires distributed through forms and Google Forms. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS and SEM-PLS 4.1 to test the relationships among variables. The results show that Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) and hedonic shopping have a positive effect on impulse buying. This indicates that digital social pressure and pleasure-driven motivation are the main factors encouraging students to engage in impulsive purchases. In contrast, self-control does not affect impulse buying, suggesting that students’ ability to regulate themselves is not yet strong enough to reduce impulsive consumption behavior. This condition is influenced by the characteristics of students who do not yet have a stable income, so self-control has not developed optimally in financial management due to the absence of income.

Azhari, Fairuz Azka, Asep Nuryadin, Muhammad Dzikri Ar Ridlo
Abstract: Abstract: The rapid expansion of digital learning environments has increased students’ reliance on Learning Management Systems (LMS), including SPOT UPI. However, limited studies have examined the platform’s overall user… user experience across all User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) dimensions. This study aims to evaluate the user experience (UX) of SPOT UPI, identify its strengths and weaknesses, and provide recommendations for system improvement. A quantitative-dominant mixed-method design was applied, involving 81 student respondents for the UEQ survey and two participants for follow-up semi-structured interviews selected through purposive sampling. The UEQ data were analyzed to generate mean scores for six UX dimensions, while interview data were thematically analyzed to support the interpretation of quantitative findings. The results indicate that Perspicuity (1.05) and Efficiency (0.78) achieved the highest scores, reflecting adequate clarity and functionality. In Contrast, Stimulation (0.50) and Novelty (-0.15) were the lowest, indicating limited engagement and innovation. Overall, pragmatic quality (0.84) outperformed hedonic quality (0.17), suggesting that users value functionality more than enjoyment. In conclusion, SPOT UPI is generally usable but lacks aesthetic appeal, emotional engagement, and innovative features, highlighting the need for interface redesign and performance optimization to enhance the overall learning experience. Keywords: learning management system; user experience; user experience questionnaire Abstrak: Perkembangan pembelajaran digital membuat mahasiswa semakin bergantung pada Learning Management System (LMS), termasuk SPOT UPI.
