Abstract:Advances in information technology have driven digital transformation across many sectors, including education. One administrative service that is still largely handled conventionally is the announcement of student graduation…
ation results and the distribution of Graduation Certificates (Surat Keterangan Lulus/SKL), which makes the delivery of information relatively inefficient. This study aims to build a web-based Student Graduation Information System for vocational high schools (SMK) that simplifies graduation-data management for school administrators and gives students online access to their graduation information. The system was built using the Waterfall method, covering requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance, and was implemented with the Laravel framework, the PHP programming language, a MySQL database, and a Bootstrap interface. It serves two types of users: administrators, who manage graduation data, and students, who can check their graduation status without logging in by entering their National Student Identification Number (NISN). Students who pass can download their SKL directly in PDF format. The system was evaluated through Black Box Testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS). Testing showed that every system function operated as intended, while the usability evaluation returned an average SUS score of 84.5, placing it in the Excellent (Grade A) category. Overall, the system improves the efficiency of school administration, speeds up the delivery of graduation information, and supports the broader digitalization of educational services.

Abstract:Fractional premium schemes in life insurance generally follow two main approaches: True Fractional Premiums, which are easy to implement but less fair to policyholders who die mid-period, and Apportionable Fractional Premiums,…
miums, which are more actuarially fair but administratively more complex. This study designs a Hybrid Fractional Premiums model that combines both approaches through a weighted linear combination using parameter , based on the 2023 Indonesian Mortality Table (TMPI), a 5% interest rate, a 10-year coverage period, and monthly premium payments. This descriptive quantitative study applies actuarial mathematics, covering the present value of insurance benefits, true fractional, apportionable fractional, and hybrid annuity factors, up to premium determination using the equivalence principle. The results show that the hybrid premium consistently lies between the true fractional and apportionable premiums, increases sharply with the insured's age, and is higher for males than females due to differences in mortality rates. Changes in the value of have a linear effect on the premium, although the impact is relatively small (a difference of less than IDR 200 per month). The hybrid model with is recommended as the optimal balance between actuarial fairness and ease of implementation, offering a more flexible alternative for premium determination in Indonesia's life insurance industry.
Abstract:Student grade data is personal data that must be protected under Indonesian Law Number 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection, yet the rising number of data breaches in the education sector shows that such protection has…
not been optimally implemented. This study implements the 128-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm combined with Huffman compression to protect the confidentiality and integrity of student grade files in Excel (.xlsx) format, and evaluates its effectiveness through functional, performance, and security testing. The system was developed as a Python desktop application with a CustomTkinter interface, in which the encryption process runs Huffman compression before AES-128, while integrity verification uses SHA-256 hashing. Testing was conducted on seven student grade files from MA Ma'ahid Kudus. The results show that all files were successfully encrypted and decrypted without failure or data alteration, with encryption times of 0.0142-0.0828 seconds and decryption times of 0.0046-0.1417 seconds. The SHA-256 hash values of the original and decrypted files were identical for all samples, yielding 100% recovery accuracy, while the file size increase from padding and header insertion ranged only from 1,092 to 1,101 bytes. The study concludes that the combination of AES-128 and Huffman compression is an effective and efficient solution for protecting student grade data in educational institutions.

Abstract:Digital financial transparency is crucial for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly for building accountable and trustworthy public institutions. Limited studies examine whether digitalization…
actually delivers accessible financial information and whether such transparency strengthens sustainable public governance. This study addresses that gap by constructing an original, multi-dimensional, portal-level Digital Financial Transparency Index (DFTI) and linking it to sustainable public governance, an association not previously tested at the Indonesian subnational level. Using a quantitative, explanatory design, financial management and public information portals are assessed through content analysis. Twenty-one indicators covering organizational information, financial transparency, and website accessibility are aggregated into the DFTI. Sustainable public governance is proxied by the 2024 electronic-based government system (SPBE) index, the only nationally standardized, externally assessed, and annually published measure of digital public administration maturity in Indonesia. Ordinary least squares regression tests the hypothesis, complemented by Spearman correlation as a non-parametric robustness check suited to the small city and regency subsamples. The findings show DFTI has a positive and significant effect on SPBE (β = 0.026; p = 0.032). The effect operates through content rather than appearance: among regencies, organizational information and financial transparency correlate significantly (p < 0.05) with SPBE, website accessibility does not. The results provide recommendations that local governments should adopt a standardized minimum financial-disclosure content and prioritize the weakest indicators, which are raw data, citizen-friendly budget summaries, and personal data protection. Also the provincial government should channel budget-capacity support to low-DFTI regencies, where transparency and maturity are most strongly associated with budget resources to advance SDG 17.
Abstract:The leadership of student organizations is an important foundation for the sustainability and effectiveness of student activities in higher education institutions. However, many student organization leaders do not yet have…
ve a sufficient understanding of how to identify, develop, and maintain the potential of members (talent management), resulting in the leadership regeneration process often being less than optimal. This community service activity was conducted in the form of material preparation for the Student Leadership Basic Training (LDKM) organized by the Student Association (HIMA) of Economic Education on August 9, 2026, at Villa Cantik, with the theme "The Urgency of Leadership." A total of 55 students participated as event participants. The material presented focuses on talent management within organizations, covering the identification of member potential, competency development strategies, and mapping the regeneration of management. The implementation methods include interactive lectures, group discussions, and organizational case studies. The results of the activity show an increase in participants' understanding of the concept of talent management, marked by high enthusiasm in discussions and the participants' ability to formulate strategies for managing members' potential in organizational case simulations. This activity made a tangible contribution to strengthening students' leadership capacities and opened up opportunities for sustainable collaboration between academics and student organizations within the Economics Education Study Program
Abstract:Divorce is a societal problem that affects children, extended families, married couples, and the general social resilience of communities. Local wisdom values, such as siri' na pacce, sipakatau, sipakalebbi, sipakainge,…
and tudang sipulung, stand for respect, empathy, accountability, and thoughtful dispute resolution in Bugis-Makassar society. The goal of this study is to determine how applicable Bugis-Makassar traditional knowledge is to family mediation as a divorce prevention tactic and how it may be updated and revived. This study employed a descriptive design and a qualitative methodology. In-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving couples who had experienced marital discord, as well as traditional leaders, religious leaders, mediators, and family members involved in mediation procedures, were used to collect data. Techniques for data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing were used to analyze the data. The findings indicate that while sipakatau and sipakalebbi improve respect between married couples, siri' na pacce strengthens accountability and empathy. While tudang sipulung provides a deliberative setting for discovering common answers, sipakainge encourages constructive reminders. The findings suggest that the parties' desire to voluntarily embrace the mediation process can be increased by involving traditional authorities, religious leaders, and dependable family members. Reviving these ideals in an adaptive, equitable, and impartial manner might support family mediation. The results of this study show that incorporating local knowledge into family mediation could be beneficial in reducing divorce.
Abstract:Caring behavior is a fundamental value and the core of professional nursing practice that directly contributes to the quality of patient care and recovery. One of the internal factors associated with caring behavior is spiritual…
piritual intelligence, which enables nurses to find meaning and purpose in the care they provide. However, evidence suggests that both nurses' caring behavior and spiritual intelligence still need improvement. This study aimed to examine the relationship between spiritual intelligence and nurses' caring behavior in inpatient wards. This study employed a quantitative analytical correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 53 nurses were recruited using a total sampling technique. Data were collected using the Spiritual Intelligence Self-Report Inventory (SISRI-24) and the Caring Behavior Inventory (CBI). Data were analyzed using the Chi-square test with a significance level of p < 0.05. The findings revealed that less than half of the respondents (47.2%) had low spiritual intelligence, while more than half (54.7%) demonstrated poor caring behavior. Statistical analysis showed a significant relationship between spiritual intelligence and nurses' caring behavior (p = 0.001). Nurses with higher levels of spiritual intelligence tended to demonstrate better caring behavior than those with lower levels of spiritual intelligence. Hospital management is encouraged to consider nurses' spiritual intelligence as an important aspect in efforts to enhance caring behavior and improve the overall quality of nursing services.
