Abstract:External evidence can make retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) more informative, yet retrieved passages also provide a path for adversarial instructions to enter the model context. We examine that path in an English-Indonesian…
onesian RAG system and track cross-lingual indirect prompt injection separately at retrieval, reranking, and generation. The experiment starts from 75 semantic items and evaluates every item in eight query/body/payload language combinations, for 600 paired trials. Qwen3-Embedding-0.6B and BGE-M3 produce top-20 candidate sets, BGE-reranker-v2-m3 reduces each set to five documents, and Qwen3-0.6B answers from the resulting context with either a standard prompt or an explicit trust-boundary prompt. Statistical uncertainty is estimated by resampling semantic items, and paired binary outcomes are modeled with generalized estimating equations. Poison documents reached the top 20 in 80.50% of Qwen trials and 37.67% of BGE-M3 trials (odds ratio 6.94, 95% CI 4.53-10.63). Top-five exposure was 18.50% and 16.17%, respectively. Standard end-to-end attack success was 6.33% for Qwen and 6.00% for BGE-M3; boundary-aware prompting lowered both rates to 1.33%, with no canary false positives. The results indicate that multilingual RAG security depends on several linked stages rather than generation alone.
Abstract:The reliability of data packet transmission within the deployed Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) security protocol is highly crucial to ensure user data confidentiality. This study aims to analyze the security implementation…
tation of the WPA2-Personal protocol-based WLAN through direct observation of data packet traffic. A qualitative-descriptive research method was applied by conducting packet capturing using the Wireshark application on a small-scale test network utilizing a smartphone as an access point and a laptop as a client. The results demonstrate that all local and internet data communication activities operated stably and were recorded consistently. Packet analysis successfully identified various major protocols, including ARP, DNS, TCP, UDP, TLS, and HTTPS. The implementation of TLS encryption on HTTPS traffic proved capable of protecting the confidentiality of application data content, preventing it from being read in plaintext even though the packets were successfully captured. This study concludes that the combination of WPA2-Personal authentication and the HTTPS communication protocol still provides adequate security protection and remains highly viable for small-scale wireless network environments.
Abstract:The advancement of digital communication has generated a range of ethical challenges, including cyberbullying, insults, negative labeling, the dissemination of unverified information, privacy violations, digital ghibah (backbiting),…
backbiting), polarization, and discrimination. These challenges call for an ethical framework that is not merely technical in nature but is also firmly grounded in Islamic values. This study aims to reconstruct a Qur’an-based digital communication ethics framework through a thematic analysis of Qur’anic interpretation of QS. Al-Hujurat verses 11–13 and to examine its relevance to strengthening character education. This qualitative study employs a library research approach using thematic Qur’anic interpretation, content analysis, and contextual analysis of the Qur’an, classical and contemporary exegetical works, as well as scholarly literature on digital communication and character education. The findings reveal that QS. Al-Hujurat verses 11–13 embody eight ethical principles that can be reconstructed within the context of digital communication: Dignity Protection, Respectful Communication, No Negative Labeling, Critical Verification, Privacy Protection, Responsible Speech, Inclusive Interaction, and Digital Equality. These eight principles are synthesized into the Qur’anic Digital Communication Ethics Framework (QDCEF), which comprises three overarching dimensions: Dignity, Responsibility, and Inclusion. The framework is further mapped onto the character values of respect, empathy, civility, tolerance, critical thinking, objectivity, trustworthiness, responsibility, integrity, justice, and self-control. These findings affirm that QS. Al-Hujurat verses 11–13 are relevant not only as a source of moral and character education but also as a conceptual foundation for reconstructing a digital communication ethics framework that bridges Qur’anic values with the demands of character education in the digital era. The proposed QDCEF thus offers a value-based conceptual framework for fostering ethical, responsible, inclusive, and character-oriented digital communication.

Abstract is a brief summary of the paper to help readers quickly determine the main research problem, solutions to solving This study aims to analyze consumer behavior in purchasing decisions of souvenirs at the Ke'te Kesu' Tourism Area in North Toraja Regency. The cultural tourism industry has transformed into an experience-based industry that prioritizes emotional, symbolic, and cultural values. In this context, souvenir purchases serve not only as consumer goods but also as symbols of memories, cultural identity, and representations of tourist experiences. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving five tourists as key informants and five MSME actors as supporting informants. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that souvenir purchasing decisions at the Ke'te Kesu' Tourism Area are influenced by four main factors: cultural, social, personal, and psychological factors. Cultural and psychological factors are the most dominant because tourists perceive souvenirs as authentic representations of Toraja culture with symbolic meaning. The purchase decision process occurs through five stages: need recognition, information search, alternative evaluation, purchase decision, and post-purchase behavior. Tourists consider price, quality, uniqueness, and cultural value before deciding to purchase a product. Positive tourism experiences influence tourist satisfaction and encourage repeat purchase intentions and recommendations to others. This study concludes that souvenir purchasing decisions at the Ke'te Kesu' Tourism Area are not only influenced by functional needs but also by cultural values, emotional experiences, and tourists' perceptions of the authenticity of Toraja cultural products.
Abstract:This study examines how leadership and work-life balance influence employee performance directly and indirectly through employee engagement at the Fisheries Service of Central Maluku Regency. A descriptive quantitative,…
causal-correlational design was applied to the entire population of 49 employees using total sampling. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, path analysis, and Sobel tests to estimate direct, indirect, and mediating effects. The findings show that leadership significantly affects employee engagement (beta = 0.582; p < 0.001), while work-life balance also has a significant, although smaller, effect on engagement (beta = 0.129; p = 0.005). Employee engagement strongly affects performance (beta = 0.942; p < 0.001). In contrast, the direct effects of leadership (beta = 0.034; p = 0.613) and work-life balance (beta = -0.008; p = 0.756) on performance are not significant. Sobel testing confirms that employee engagement mediates the effect of leadership on performance (p = 0.00015) and the effect of work-life balance on performance (p = 0.03). The model explains 92.4% of the variance in performance. The study's novelty lies in demonstrating, within a local public-sector context, that leadership and work-life balance improve performance primarily by strengthening employee engagement rather than through direct effects. These findings imply that public organizations should prioritize engagement-oriented leadership and work-life policies to achieve sustainable employee performance.

amid an intense schedule, a diversity of methods, and the gap between the readiness of learners and educators in the boarding environment. This study aims to analyze and describe the implementation of character-education values from the book of Akhlāq Lil Banīn in Arabic language learning activities at the MBS Al Mujahidin Islamic Boarding School, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. The method used is qualitative, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation; informants were selected by purposive sampling, and data analysis comprised data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the implementation of character values takes place integratively, intensively, and contextually through a combination of formal school activities and non-formal dormitory activities such as mufrodat, hiwar, muhadhoroh, qirā’ah, muḥādatsah, and integrated Arabic learning. These activities not only develop linguistic competence but also serve as a medium for internalizing religious, disciplinary, responsibility, and social-care values through habituation and role modeling. Challenges were also found in the form of differing prior abilities among learners, a dense activity schedule, and the dynamic assignment of educators, all of which affect the absorption and internalization of values. It is concluded that the success of Akhlāq Lil Banīn-based character education depends heavily on pedagogical adaptation, differentiated learning, and management of the activity rhythm.
Abstract:The Qur'an, as the primary source of Islamic teachings, contains legal verses that require in-depth interpretation for proper application, one notable example being Tafsir al-Maraghi by Ahmad Musthafa al-Maraghi, a contemporary…
mporary Egyptian scholar known for his moderate stance and independence from madhhab fanaticism. This study aims to reveal al-Maraghi's typology of ijtihad in interpreting legal verses, identify the legal products he produced, and examine his responses to contemporary legal issues. The research employs a library research method with a descriptive-analytical approach and fiqhi tafsir framework, using Tafsir al-Maraghi as the primary source alongside various ahkam tafsir and fiqh works as secondary sources, analyzed through content analysis and comparative reasoning. The findings show that al-Maraghi developed an integrative ijtihad model combining five typologies, namely bayani, tarjihi, maqashidi, istislahi, and tajdidi, with maqashid al-shari'ah orientation as the most dominant character, spanning worship, marriage, inheritance-testament, transactions, politics, and criminal law. The study concludes that this ijtihad pattern produces moderate, contextual legal interpretations relevant to the development of contemporary Islamic law in Indonesia. Further research is recommended to apply a systematic contemporary maqashid approach.
Abstract:Traditional markets face increasing competition from modern retail and digital commerce, requiring effective strategies to sustain consumers' visit intention despite physical accessibility constraints. This study investigates…
gates the effects of market image and TikTok promotion on consumers' visit intention, with perceived shopping accessibility serving as a mediating variable in the context of Pasar Cidu Makassar. A quantitative approach was employed using survey data collected from 130 consumers who had visited Pasar Cidu Makassar. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that market image and TikTok promotion have positive and significant effects on both perceived shopping accessibility and visit intention. Perceived shopping accessibility also has a positive and significant effect on visit intention. However, it does not mediate the relationships between market image and visit intention or between TikTok promotion and visit intention. These findings suggest that consumers' intention to visit a traditional market is influenced more by favorable market image and effective digital promotion than by perceived shopping accessibility. Traditional market managers can utilize TikTok to promote market products, atmosphere, and activities through engaging and informative content to strengthen consumers' intention to visit. Consistent TikTok promotion can also serve as a practical digital marketing strategy to increase the market's visibility among potential visitors. This study contributes to the literature on traditional market marketing by demonstrating the importance of integrating market image and social media promotion to strengthen consumers' visit intention despite physical accessibility limitations.
Abstract:Companies listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index 70 (JII70) provide a unique research context because they operate within an Islamic capital market framework that applies sharia screening criteria and financial requirements.…
. Despite being guided by the same sharia principles and regulatory environment, JII70 companies still show variations in financial performance. Although previous research has examined the factors that affect financial performance, empirical evidence regarding the influence of efficiency, market ratios, liquidity, and leverage still shows inconsistent results, particularly in companies that comply with sharia principles. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of efficiency, market ratio, liquidity, and leverage on the financial performance of companies listed on JII70 by using Return on Assets (ROA) as a performance indicator. This study uses a quantitative approach by utilizing secondary data obtained from the annual reports of 57 non-financial companies during the period 2021–2025, resulting in 285 company-year observations. Panel data regression analysis was performed using the Fixed Effects model with Driscoll–Kraay error standard to overcome the problems of heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation. The results show that efficiency measured by Total Asset Turnover (TATO) and market ratio measured by Price-to-Book Value (PBV) have a positive and significant effect on financial performance. Meanwhile, liquidity measured by Current Ratio (CR) and leverage measured by Debt-to-Asset Ratio (DAR) have a positive but not statistically significant effect on financial performance. The findings of this study support the Signaling Theory by showing that efficiency and market ratio provide stronger signals regarding company quality and financial performance in the context of the Islamic capital market in Indonesia. These findings provide practical implications for managers in improving company performance as well as for investors in making more informed investment decisions
