PERSEPSI DAN RESPONS PERILAKU PEMUDA TERHADAP HIV/AIDS: STUDI KUANTITATIF PADA MAHASISWA DI INDONESIA

Cindy Israeni Ansar, Afni Amirudin
Abstract: Despite decades of global HIV/AIDS education efforts, the gap between awareness and preventive behavior among youth remains a persistent challenge. University students—typically well-educated and socially engaged—are expected… expected to be proactive in health matters, yet many remain passive in HIV prevention efforts. This study examines the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of university students in Indonesia regarding HIV/AIDS, and analyzes the cognitive and structural barriers that hinder behavioral change. The research applies two theoretical frameworks: the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and the Health Belief Model (HBM). A quantitative survey was conducted among 268 students at Hasanuddin University. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to assess levels of HIV/AIDS knowledge, attitudes, and preventive actions. Skewness and kurtosis were also calculated to explore distributional patterns. While students demonstrated high levels of knowledge (M = 16.34) and positive attitudes (M = 31.36), their preventive behavior was notably low (M = 10.74), with skewed distributions indicating widespread inaction. Misconceptions about HIV transmission and curability were common. Both TPB and HBM helped explain the role of perceived barriers, weak normative support, and low self-efficacy in limiting behavioral intention. Findings highlight a critical knowledge–action gap driven by social stigma, misinformation, and lack of institutional cues to action. Effective HIV prevention requires not only awareness but also structured interventions that enhance agency, normalize testing, and dismantle behavioral barriers within youth populations

FROM CREDIBILITY TO CONSUMPTION: A CROSS CONTEXTUAL REVIEW OF PARASOCIAL INTERACTION AND PURCHASE INTENTION IN INFLUENCER MARKETING

Desinta, Nia Widya
Abstract: The rapid advancement of digital technology has fundamentally reshaped consumer behavior globally, with social media becoming the primary channel for product information seeking. Approximately 51% of Indonesians rely on… user reviews before purchasing, and 62% have bought products under the direct influence of Social Media Influencers (SMIs). Despite this, the psychological mechanisms linking influencer characteristics to purchase intention remain fragmented across sectors and platforms. This systematic literature review synthesizes nineteen empirical studies published between 2020 and 2025, spanning beauty, fashion, gadget, and sustainable product sectors across multiple countries, to examine how Source Credibility (attractiveness, trustworthiness, expertise) and Parasocial Interaction (PSI) jointly shape consumer purchase intentions. Three core findings emerge: (1) trustworthiness is the sole credibility dimension that is universally and consistently significant across all contexts, fundamentally challenging assumptions about the equal contribution of the three credibility dimensions; (2) PSI operates not as a single mediator but as a multi-pathway psychological bridge through hedonic value, brand attitude, vicarious experience, and social-personal value whose specific active pathway is contingent on platform, product type, and cultural context; and (3) generational and cultural moderators systematically shape which credibility dimension most powerfully drives PSI. A Proposed Integrative Conceptual Framework and a synthetic cross-study comparison matrix (Table 2) consolidate these findings. Results offer strategic implications for influencer marketing practice and identify priority directions for future research.

Adi, Setiyo
Abstract: The existence of banking institutions has an important role in the country's economy. Banking institutions have three main functions, namely financial intermediary, agent of development and agent of trust. The existence… and sustainability of banking institutions must be pursued as much as possible by bank managers, because their existence can improve the economy. One of the efforts made by banking institutions is to channel credit to parties in need to meet customer needs and obtain benefits for banking institutions. The research method includes explanatory-descriptive-quantitative research. The population is 24,675 consumer credit customers of BRIGuna Bank BRI in the horseshoe area, East Java. The sample is 250 customers who have received BRIGuna consumptive credit at least twice in a row, using non-probability sampling-purposive sampling on a quota basis. Analysis tools and techniques using SPSS, SEM, and AMOS version 24. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire / google form and interviews. Service quality and innovation of a bank will improve the company's image, sustainable competitive advantage based on loyalty and the intention to re-elect in one bank. Innovation also affects customer satisfaction, while loyalty-based sustainable competitive advantage is also influenced by the image of banking companies. Loyalty-based sustainable competitive advantage affects the intention to re-elect in a bank. Further research to be more specific on the quality of consumer credit services, requires a collaborative approach to customers which is social capital and focuses on innovation that provides convenience for customers while maintaining the company's image in the eyes of customers because this is the key to a loyalty-based sustainable competitive advantage.

DEFINING AN OPTIMAL EV CHARGING SERVICE RADIUS: A USER-BASED APPROACH FOR URBAN PLANNING IN PEKANBARU CITY

Putra, Ardiansyah, Yunus, Wan Muhammad, Umar, Zulkarnain
Abstract: The growing emphasis on sustainable urban mobility has positioned electric vehicles (EVs) as a strategic component of transport transformation, particularly in developing cities with constrained infrastructure systems. One… ne of the key challenges in supporting EV adoption is the provision of accessible charging infrastructure, which is closely related to user perception of acceptable service distance. This study aims to determine the optimal service distance of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS) based on user preferences in Pekanbaru City, Indonesia, and to explore its implications for spatial planning. A quantitative approach was employed using a questionnaire survey of 51 respondents distributed across 15 administrative districts. All respondents were non-EV users, representing potential adopters in the early stage of transition. The survey captured preferred EVCS distance using interval-based categories, along with respondents’ awareness and intention toward EV adoption. The results indicate that the dominant preferred distance falls within the 2–4 km range, with an estimated mean of 3.08 km and a standard deviation of 1.98 km, resulting in an effective range of approximately 1–5 km. Considering urban road network constraints and detour factors, this range is further adjusted to 3–6 km to reflect more realistic travel conditions. These findings suggest that a relatively dense and accessible charging network is required to reduce range anxiety and support EV adoption. From a spatial planning perspective, a 4 km service threshold is proposed as a practical reference for EVCS deployment, representing the central tendency of user preferences within the adjusted range. This study highlights the importance of integrating user-based spatial parameters into infrastructure planning and contributes to the literature by emphasizing the role of perceived accessibility in shaping EV infrastructure demand in developing urban contexts.

Lucky Roy Saputra, Putu Nina Madiawati, Mahir Pradana
Abstract: The rapid growth of the global affordable luxury fashion segment presents a critical paradox, as luxury brands increasingly target culturally diverse consumers who interpret the meaning of luxury in fundamentally different… nt ways. This phenomenon becomes particularly evident when comparing collectivist markets such as Indonesia with individualistic markets such as Australia, where uniform value propositions often fail to resonate equally. This study aims to examine the influence of cultural context on Luxury Value Perception (LVP) and Purchase Intention, as well as the moderating role of Individualism–Collectivism orientation among affordable luxury fashion consumers in Indonesia and Australia. A quantitative survey-based approach was employed and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), complemented by Measurement Invariance of Composite Models (MICOM) and Multi-Group Analysis (MGA). The findings are expected to provide empirical insights into how cultural differences shape luxury value perceptions and purchase intentions, offering strategic implications for affordable luxury fashion brands in developing culturally adaptive value propositions.
