This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach and utilizes the evaluation instrument developed by Mike Horsley and Kevin Laws to evaluate the "My Best Reading" textbook. The evaluation results provide valuable insights into the strengths and weaknesses of the textbook and its contribution to improving the quality of educational materials. However, the study has limitations that need to be considered in designing more comprehensive recommendations for enhancing instructional materials.

The study discussed some perceptions of the merits of ChatGPT on English student with each representative answering or filling a questionnaire containing their views or responses to ChatGPT conversations using a quantitative descriptive method. It is hoped that the study can learn how English education students feel using small talk, whether it is having a good effect on their performance or whether it is adversely affecting their performance in college. The results of correlation analysis show patterns of relationships between different variables. imental untuk menguji apakah aplikasi tersebut dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa secara lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan metode pengajaran konvensional. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas tujuh tahun ajaran 2024/2025, dengan dua kelas yang dipilih sebagai sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling, yaitu kelas 7E dan 7F yang masing-masing berjumlah 35 siswa. Satu kelas dijadikan kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan aplikasi Hello English, sedangkan kelas lainnya menjadi kelompok kontrol dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes berbicara dan dianalisis secara statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang diajar menggunakan aplikasi Hello English memperoleh kemampuan berbicara yang lebih baik, dengan rata-rata nilai post-test sebesar 84,00 dibandingkan dengan 74,86 pada kelas kontrol. Selain itu, hasil Independent Samples Test menunjukkan nilai t-hitung sebesar 5,616 dengan derajat kebebasan 68 dan nilai signifikansi di bawah 0,05 (<0,001), yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik antara kedua kelompok. Oleh karena itu, hipotesis nol ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi Hello English secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa.
This study investigates the effect of using the Hello English application on the speaking skills of seventh-grade students at SMPN 13 Kota Tangerang. The research employed a quantitative, quasi-experimental design to examine whether the application could improve students’ oral proficiency more effectively than conventional teaching methods. The population consisted of seventh-grade students in the 2024/2025 academic year, with two classes selected as samples using cluster random sampling: class 7E and class 7F, each with 35 students. One class served as the experimental group using the Hello English application, while the other functioned as the control group using conventional instruction. Data were collected through speaking tests and analyzed statistically. The findings revealed that students taught through the Hello English application achieved better speaking performance, with an average post-test score of 84.00 compared to 74.86 in the control class. Furthermore, the Independent Samples Test showed a t-score of 5.616 with 68 degrees of freedom and a significance value below 0.05 (<0.001), indicating a statistically significant difference between the two groups. Therefore, the null hypothesis was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis was accepted. In conclusion, the Hello English application significantly improved students’ speaking skills.

Metode yang dipakai dalam kajian ini ialah prototype melalui tahapan identifikasi kebutuhan, pembuatan prototype, evaluasi, penyempurnaan, serta implementasi sistem. Pengembangan sistem dilakukan memakai Visual Studio Code sebagai text editor, XAMPP menjadi web server lokal, serta localhost guna pengujian aplikasi berbasis web. Sistem dibangun menggunakan PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, serta basis data MySQL. Hasil kajian memperlihatkan bahwasannya sistem informasi akademik berbasis web mampu melakukan peningkatan efisiensi pengolahan data, menekan human error, mempercepat penyusunan laporan nilai, serta memperkuat keamanan dan transparansi data akademik siswa di SMPI Hidayatul Athfal.
The development of information technology has had a significant impact on the field of education, particularly in the management of academic data and student assessment systems. SMPI Hidayatul Athfal still uses a manual and semi-computerized grading system, where scores are recorded in books and processed using Microsoft Excel. This system creates several challenges, such as delays in grade processing, calculation errors, data duplication, and difficulties in searching and storing academic data. Therefore, a web-based academic information system is needed to support the management of student grades in a more effective, efficient, and integrated manner. The research method used in this study is the prototype method, which includes the stages of requirements gathering, prototype development, evaluation, refinement, and system implementation. The system was developed using Visual Studio Code as the text editor, XAMPP as the local web server, and localhost as the web-based testing environment. The programming languages used include PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL as the database management system. The results of the study show that the web-based academic information system improves data processing efficiency, reduces human error, accelerates the generation of grade reports, and enhances the security and transparency of students’ academic data at SMPI Hidayatul Athfal.

This study aims to design a web-based employee attendance information system using fingerprint recognition and Internet of Things (IoT) at PT Cahaya Panam Sejahtera Lestari Bungo to overcome manual attendance processes. The system was developed using the prototyping method with Native PHP, MySQL, and modeled using UML. The system is capable of managing attendance data in real time and in an integrated manner. The results indicate that the system improves attendance management effectiveness, minimizes recording errors, and simplifies monitoring and attendance data recapitulation with a testing score of 89.66% categorized as very good.

Hasil kajian memperlihatkan bahwasannya sistem yang dibangun bisa membantu kader Posyandu mengelola data balita, lansia, kader, serta pemeriksaan kesehatan secara lebih cepat dan akurat, sekaligus memudahkan pembuatan laporan otomatis. Hasil pengujian juga mengindikasikan tiap fitur utama, meliputi login, tambah data, ubah data, hapus data, serta cetak laporan, berfungsi selaras keperluan pengguna.
Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) is a public health service that plays a crucial role in monitoring the health of pregnant women, toddlers, and the elderly. However, data management at Posyandu Puspa Indah 2 in South Tangerang City is still done manually using register books and Health Cards (KMS). This slows down the recording and retrieval process and risks errors and data loss. This reserach was conducted to design and develop a web-based Posyandu Pintar system that facilitates integrated and digitalized data management. The research utilized observation, interviews, and literature review as the primary data collection methods. The system was developed using the Laravel framework, PHP as the programming language, MySQL as the database management system, and Bootstrap for interface design. The results demonstrate that the system effectively supports Posyandu cadres in managing toddler data, the elderly, cadres, and health checks more quickly and accurately, while simplifying the automated reporting process. Testing results show that all key features, such as logging in, adding data, editing data, deleting data, and printing reports, function well according to user needs.
