tive, transparent, and measurable Decision Support System (DSS) to determine the priority order of infrastructure development proposals in Asam Jawa Village, Torgamba District. The applied solution integrates the Rank Order Centroid (ROC) method to calculate criteria weighting based on relative importance, and the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to process the alternative ranking calculation. The evaluation was conducted on 23 physical infrastructure proposals using four main criteria: urgency level (C1), physical condition (C2), benefits (C3), and population size (C4). The results indicate that alternative A4 (Construction of Borehole Well and Public Toilet at Field) and alternative A18 (Sejahtera Street Concrete Cast) achieved the highest preference score of 1.000000, followed by other infrastructure proposals in a structured manner. The combined use of ROC and SAW methods is proven to be effective and consistent in generating accurate rural development priority rankings. The integration of these two methods facilitates village government officials in making accountable decisions while minimizing cognitive bias risks in optimizing development budget allocation.

Abstract is a brief summary of the paper to help readers quickly determine the main research problem, solutions to solving This study aims to analyze consumer behavior in purchasing decisions of souvenirs at the Ke'te Kesu' Tourism Area in North Toraja Regency. The cultural tourism industry has transformed into an experience-based industry that prioritizes emotional, symbolic, and cultural values. In this context, souvenir purchases serve not only as consumer goods but also as symbols of memories, cultural identity, and representations of tourist experiences. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving five tourists as key informants and five MSME actors as supporting informants. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that souvenir purchasing decisions at the Ke'te Kesu' Tourism Area are influenced by four main factors: cultural, social, personal, and psychological factors. Cultural and psychological factors are the most dominant because tourists perceive souvenirs as authentic representations of Toraja culture with symbolic meaning. The purchase decision process occurs through five stages: need recognition, information search, alternative evaluation, purchase decision, and post-purchase behavior. Tourists consider price, quality, uniqueness, and cultural value before deciding to purchase a product. Positive tourism experiences influence tourist satisfaction and encourage repeat purchase intentions and recommendations to others. This study concludes that souvenir purchasing decisions at the Ke'te Kesu' Tourism Area are not only influenced by functional needs but also by cultural values, emotional experiences, and tourists' perceptions of the authenticity of Toraja cultural products.
Abstract:Amidst the growing number of tourism villages and intensifying competition among destinations, tourism village managers face the challenge of devising digital marketing strategies that are not merely informative but also…
capable of sustainably building meaning, experiences, and destination competitiveness. This study aims to examine the social media-based digital marketing strategies implemented by a specific attraction within Pujon Kidul Tourism Village identifying supporting and inhibiting factors and to analyze the role of digital narratives in shaping the destination's image and competitiveness. A qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews with tourism village managers (BUMDes), the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis), tourism-related MSMEs, village officials, and tourists. Data analysis was conducted thematically, utilizing source triangulation to ensure the validity of the findings. The study reveals that social media management remains reactive and unplanned, characterized by the absence of content calendars, creative direction, and performance evaluation mechanisms. Furthermore, there is a misalignment between the digital narratives used and the core identity of Cafe Sawah Pujon Kidul as a culinary destination rooted in the rural experience. Nevertheless, there are opportunities to be leveraged, such as hosting TikTok live streams which have proven effective for content collaboration with local SMEs and communities as well as the management's openness to learning and guidance.
Abstract:The rapid growth of local cafes in medium-sized cities has shifted competition from product-based offerings to experience-based value creation. This study examines how service quality and store atmosphere influence customer…
mer loyalty through customer satisfaction at See You Cafe in Pinrang City. The study employed a quantitative associative-causal design involving 160 customers selected through purposive sampling, with criteria including customers aged at least 17 years and having visited See You Cafe at least twice. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire measured on a four-point Likert scale and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results show that service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Store atmosphere also has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, indicating that physical and sensory elements of the cafe contribute to customers’ positive evaluations. However, store atmosphere does not significantly affect customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction also does not significantly affect loyalty and does not mediate the relationship between service quality and loyalty or between store atmosphere and loyalty. These findings suggest that customer loyalty at See You Cafe is shaped more directly by service quality than by satisfaction or store atmosphere. The study implies that cafe management should prioritize improving service reliability, particularly order-serving timeliness, while maintaining a comfortable atmosphere. In addition, loyalty-building strategies should go beyond customer satisfaction by strengthening service consistency, personalization, and long-term customer engagement
Abstract:Transformasi industri digital telah mengubah kebutuhan kompetensi lulusan perguruan tinggi sehingga mahasiswa tidak hanya dituntut memiliki kompetensi akademik, tetapi juga kesiapan karier (career readiness) yang sesuai…
Metode yang digunakan berupa pendampingan partisipatif melalui lima tahapan PCRF, yaitu Industry Insight, Self and Skill Mapping, Career Planning, Project and Portfolio Development, serta Career Readiness Evaluation.
Abstract:The flood disaster that occurred in Ketambe District, Southeast Aceh Regency, at the end of 2025 caused significant impacts on local communities, including damage to housing, disruption of economic activities, and increased…
sed demand for basic necessities. These conditions required a rapid, targeted, and well-coordinated humanitarian response. This community service program aimed to provide clothing and food assistance to flood victims while developing a cross-border university collaboration model for disaster response. The program was implemented through a partnership involving Universitas Gunung Leuser (UGL), Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM), and Insan Cakna. The implementation stages included needs assessment, institutional coordination, aid procurement, aid distribution, and program evaluation. UGL was responsible for needs assessment, local coordination, and aid distribution, while UPTM served as the primary donor providing financial assistance, clothing, and food supplies. Insan Cakna acted as the liaison and coordination facilitator between both institutions. The results demonstrated that the collaboration model improved the effectiveness and accuracy of aid distribution while strengthening institutional synergy in disaster response efforts. Beyond providing direct benefits to affected communities, the program generated a cross-border university collaboration model that can be replicated in future humanitarian and disaster management initiatives. The findings highlight that the success of humanitarian programs depends not only on the availability of aid but also on effective coordination, clear division of responsibilities, and sustainable institutional partnerships.

academic English literacy among Indonesian undergraduates. Using a quantitative quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test control group, 60 students were divided into experimental and control groups. Instruments included comprehension tests, learner autonomy questionnaires, and rubric-based writing assessments. Results showed significant improvements in the experimental group. Academic text comprehension increased, particularly in vocabulary mastery (+12%), rhetorical structures (+15%), and recognition of formal registers (+10%). Copilot usage positively predicted learner autonomy, with gains in goal-setting (+14%), strategy selection (+11%), and self-evaluation (+13%). Writing performance also improved, especially in coherence (+13%), argumentation (+16%), and adherence to conventions (+12%). The findings confirm Copilot’s role as both corrective aid and developmental partner, fostering academic literacy and learner autonomy. Implications suggest integrating AI tools into EFL curricula to strengthen academic discourse and independent learning.
Abstract:This study aims to evaluate the stability of three rock slopes in an artisanal kaolin mine in Semin, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, using deterministic and probabilistic approaches, and to identify the geotechnical…
parameters most influencing slope stability. The evaluation is conducted in compliance with Indonesian Mining Regulation (Kepmen ESDM No. 1827 K/30/MEM/2018) to provide quantitative geotechnical evidence for a mine that has been operated without prior formal geotechnical assessment. Field data were collected using the scanline method to characterize rock mass discontinuities. Laboratory tests comprising direct shear and physical properties tests were conducted to determine cohesion (c), friction angle (ϕ), and unit weight (γ) for each slope. Seismic coefficient (ks = 0,0913) was incorporated as a dynamic loading parameter. Slope stability was analyzed using the General Limit Equilibrium (GLE) method to obtain the deterministic Factor of Safety (FoS). Monte Carlo simulation (N = 10.000 iterations) was applied to determine the Probability of Failure (PoF), coefficient of variation of FoS (CoV), and reliability index (β). Sensitivity analysis was performed to quantify the contribution of each geotechnical parameter to FoS reduction. Results show that FoS values ranged from 2,019 (Slope III) to 10,55 (Slope II), all exceeding the regulatory minimum of 1,1. The PoF was 0,00% for all three slopes, well below the maximum allowable limit of 25%, with reliability indices ranging from 5,70 to 31,38. The CoV of FoS ranged from 3% to 9%, indicating low dispersion in stability outcomes despite parameter variability. Sensitivity analysis identified cohesion as the most dominant parameter in Slopes I and II, contributing 28% and 31% to FoS reduction respectively, while Slope III exhibited near-equal contributions from cohesion (20%) and friction angle (21%), reflecting its lower shear strength conditions. All three slopes satisfy the acceptance criteria of Kepmen ESDM No. 1827 K/30/MEM/2018 under current geotechnical and geometric conditions. The combined deterministic-probabilistic approach provides a more comprehensive slope safety assessment than deterministic analysis alone and is recommended for application in artisanal kaolin mining operations. Cohesion is identified as the critical parameter to be monitored and preserved to maintain slope stability.
Abstract:Spent coffee grounds are one of the organic wastes that remain underutilized despite their significant potential to be transformed into value-added products. This community service program aimed to enhance the knowledge…
and practical skills of the residents of Jingkang Village in converting spent coffee grounds into aromatherapy candles and air fresheners based on the principles of the circular economy. The program employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach consisting of problem identification, program planning, training implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and reflection. The activity involved 15 participants, including community members, micro-enterprise actors, and women's community groups. Program effectiveness was evaluated using pre-test and post-test assessments and analysed through a Paired Sample t-test. The results demonstrated that the average participant score increased from 46.70 to 86.00, representing an 84.15% improvement. Statistical analysis confirmed a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores (p < 0.001). Furthermore, all program success indicators were achieved, including a 100% attendance rate, 100% participant competency in producing the products, a participant satisfaction level of 93.30%, and all products meeting usability standards. The novelty of this program lies in integrating the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, circular economy principles, and quantitative statistical evaluation into a community empowerment model utilizing spent coffee grounds as value-added products. This model has strong potential to be replicated in other coffee-producing communities to promote sustainable waste management and local economic development.
