KENDURI NASI TRADITION IN THE MONTH OF SHA'BAN: STUDY OF THE VALUE OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION IN MALAY CULTURE

Abstract: The Kenduri Nasi tradition, held during the month of Sha'ban, is a tangible manifestation of the acculturation between Malay culture and Islamic teachings. This tradition not only strengthens social bonds but also functions… ons as a medium for internalizing Islamic educational values such as shukr (gratitude), ukhuwwah (brotherhood), and social awareness. Using a qualitative approach through a literature review, this study explores the embedded Islamic values within Kenduri Nasi and its role in preserving local cultural identity. The findings reveal that Kenduri Nasi serves as a contextual medium for transmitting religious values across generations through culturally rooted practices. This tradition exemplifies a positive syncretism between Islamic teachings and Malay customs, making it relevant for character education based on local wisdom. It also provides a meaningful model for integrating religious teachings into everyday life in a way that is both accessible and culturally sensitive.

Abstract: Traditional games play a crucial role in enriching character values and culture among children. In this paper, the involvement of traditional games in fostering social interaction, strengthening cultural identity, and shaping… aping children's characters is explored extensively. Despite the rapid advancement of technology shifting the popularity of modern games, traditional games still hold irreplaceable values. Through the analysis of various traditional games such as hide and seek, tag, hopscotch, stilts, and fortresses, values like honesty, teamwork, responsibility, and patriotism are identified as integral parts of children's play experiences. This research emphasizes the importance of introducing traditional games in the context of character education, considering their role in shaping personalities and reinforcing cultural identities. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, this study delves into the depth of values embedded in traditional games and highlights the urgency of preserving this cultural heritage amidst globalization. The research findings indicate that traditional games not only provide entertainment but also serve as effective learning tools in shaping children's characters. Therefore, efforts to promote and introduce traditional games to children are crucial in maintaining the continuity of cultural heritage and fostering positive values in society.

Tradisi Mamat: Budaya Makan Sirih Pinang sebagai Pemersatu di Komunitas Timor Lelogama

This condition raises critical questions regarding how Mamat functions as an effective cultural instrument to maintain unity, nurture solidarity, and preserve noble intergenerational values. This study aims to analyze the role of the Mamat tradition as a living and dynamic cultural system amid ongoing social transformation. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed through observation, in-depth interviews, and literature review to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the symbolic meanings and social functions embedded in the tradition. The findings reveal that Mamat is not merely a habitual practice of betel nut consumption, but a cultural mechanism that strengthens social integration, serves as a medium for conflict reconciliation, and reinforces kinship relations and social respect. The tradition also functions as a vehicle for transmitting cultural values that shape the collective character of the Timor Lelogama community. The novelty of this research lies in its analysis of Mamat as an integrated cultural system encompassing the dimensions of ideas, activities, and cultural artifacts, thereby enriching perspectives on local cultural studies grounded in social practice. The study concludes that preserving the Mamat tradition constitutes a relevant cultural strategy for strengthening social cohesion and sustaining community identity amid the dynamics of globalization.

Ritus Naketi: Kajian Antropologis Budaya tentang Ritual Ritus Naketi di Masyarakat Oemofa

Abstract: The Naketi Rite constitutes a traditional confession practice that has been preserved and transmitted across generations within the Oemofa community and functions to sustain social harmony. Social transformation and shifting… ting patterns of communal interaction have posed challenges to the continuity and interpretation of this ritual, thereby necessitating scholarly inquiry capable of comprehensively elucidating its significance. This study addresses the question of how the symbolic meanings, social functions, and moral values embedded in the Naketi Rite shape mechanisms of reconciliation and social integration in Oemofa society. A cultural anthropology approach was employed to interpret the ritual practice through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and a review of relevant literature. The findings indicate that Naketi serves as an institutionalized medium for acknowledging wrongdoing, restoring fractured relationships, and reinforcing collective solidarity through mutually recognized symbolic mechanisms. The ritual cultivates values of honesty, responsibility, self-awareness, and commitment to social cohesion, which contribute to the prevention of prolonged conflict. The study concludes that Naketi is not merely a ceremonial expression but an effective cultural institution that mediates social tensions and reproduces the community’s moral order. The novelty of this research lies in its integrative analysis of the symbolic dimension and social function of the Naketi Rite as a locally grounded reconciliation model, offering relevance for contemporary cultural anthropology and discourse on tradition-based conflict resolution.

Abstract: Contemporary congregational spirituality faces significant challenges due to the rise of individualism, competition, and self-centered orientations that hinder the practice of humility, service, and unity among believers.… . This condition highlights the importance of a strong theological foundation for cultivating Christ-centered spirituality. This study aims to examine the concept of the ethics of the cross in Philippians 2:5–11 from the perspective of Pauline Christology, identify the ethical values embedded within the passage, and explain their implications for congregational spiritual formation. The study employs a qualitative method with a theological-expository approach through library research and exegetical analysis of Philippians 2:5–11. The findings reveal that the ethics of the cross is rooted in Christ’s self-emptying, His taking the form of a servant, His obedience unto death on the cross, and His subsequent exaltation by God. This ethical framework is expressed through three principal values: relinquishing personal rights and privileges, serving with humility, and demonstrating complete obedience to the will of God. The findings further indicate that congregational spiritual formation should be centered on the transformation of the mind, a life characterized by service, and communal relationships that reflect the character of Christ. The novelty of this study lies in its formulation of the ethics of the cross as a systematic and Christ-centered model of spiritual formation that bridges Pauline Christology and the spiritual development of contemporary congregations.

Perancangan Robot Penyiram Tanaman Scala 1 : 30 Dengan Sistem Kendali Android Berbasis Embedded System

Abstract: Abstract: This research discusses the design and development of a plant-watering robot at a 1:30 scale controlled via an Android application and an embedded system based on an Arduino microcontroller. The purpose of this… study is to produce an automatic plant-watering robot that is efficient, energy-saving, and easy to operate to support agricultural automation. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), which includes stages of requirement identification, design, construction, testing, and system evaluation. The main components used include an Arduino Uno, HC-05 Bluetooth module, L298N motor driver, HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, 12V DC water pump, and a 25W solar panel as an alternative power source. The test results show that the robot can operate automatically with a success rate of 90%, battery endurance of approximately 1 hour and 13 minutes, charging time of about 5 hours and 38 minutes, and the water pump operates effectively for up to 5 hours. The integration of Android control, embedded systems, and solar power makes this robot an innovative solution for environmentally friendly and efficient agricultural automation.      Keywords: plant-watering robot; Android; embedded system; Arduino; solar panel Abstrak: Penelitian ini membahas perancangan dan pengembangan robot penyiram tanaman skala 1:30 yang dikendalikan melalui aplikasi Android dan sistem embedded berbasis mikrokontroler Arduino. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan robot penyiram tanaman otomatis yang efisien, hemat energi, dan mudah dioperasikan untuk mendukung otomasi pertanian. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan tahapan identifikasi kebutuhan, perancangan, pembuatan, pengujian, dan evaluasi sistem. Komponen utama yang digunakan meliputi Arduino Uno, modul Bluetooth HC-05, driver motor L298N, sensor ultrasonik HC-SR04, pompa air DC, dan panel surya 25 W sebagai sumber energi alternatif. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa robot mampu beroperasi secara otomatis dengan tingkat keberhasilan 90%, ketahanan baterai selama ±1 jam 13 menit, lama pengisian daya sekitar 5 jam 38 menit, serta pompa air bekerja efektif hingga 5 jam. Integrasi antara kendali Android, sistem embedded, dan tenaga surya menjadikan robot ini solusi inovatif untuk otomatisasi penyiraman tanaman yang ramah lingkungan dan berpotensi diterapkan pada lahan pertanian sesungguhnya. Perancangan Pengisian Pada Dispenser Dengan Memanfaatkan Sensor Dan Embedded System

Abstract: Abstract: Nowadays, almost all of them use a dispenser, because of its practicality. But behind that there are several things that make the dispenser less efficient when taking drinking water from the glass, because the… user has to press or turn the water tap in the dispenser. The working system of this tool is where the machine will run according to the commands obtained from the laser diode and the LDR sensor, the laser diode will reflect light that leads to the LDR. when the light reflected by the laser diode to the LDR is cut, it can be interpreted that the LDR and the laser diode detect or read the presence of an object in the form of a glass, automatically the two sensors instruct the controller to activate the water pump and the water pump will work to remove the water which will be filled in the glass that is placed in the dispenser with the volume of the glass used, the filling process and the end of filling will be displayed by the LCD and when filling the water the glass is full there will be a warning from the buzzer in the form of a sound. Users no longer need to press or turn the water tap when taking water from the dispenser using a glass.   Keywords: Dispensers;LDR Sensor;Diode Laser and Tools     Abstrak: Pada saat ini masyarakat sekarang sudah hampir semuanya menggunakan dispenser, karena kepraktisan. Namun dibalik itu semua ada beberapa hal yang membuat dispenser kurang efisien saat mengambil air minum pada gelas, karena pengguna harus menekan atau memutar keran air yang ada pada dispenser. Sistem kerja dari alat ini ialah dimana mesin akan berjalan sesuai dengan perintah yang didapat dari Dioda laser dan sensor LDR, Dioda laser akan memantulkan cahaya yang mengarah pada LDR, pada saat cahaya yang dipantulkan Dioda laser ke LDR terpotong maka dapat diartikan LDR dan Dioda laser mendeteksi atau membaca adanya benda berupa gelas, secara otomatis kedua sensor tersebut memerintahkan controller mengaktifkan pompa air dan pompa air akan bekerja mengeluarkan air yang akan diisikan pada gelas yang diletakkan pada dispenser dengan volume gelas yang digunakan, proses pengisian dan akhir pengisian akan ditampilkan oleh LCD dan saat pengisian air pada gelas penuh akan ada peringatan dari buzzer berupa bunyi. ANALYSIS OF DC MOTOR ROTATION SPEED ON THE BURNER STOVE FLAME USING OIL AS FUEL: A CASE STUDY IN TOMUANHOLLBUNG VILLAGE

Abstract: Abstract: Due to the successful conversion from LPG stoves to electric stoves, which are unsupported by the village’s electricity supply—averaging 450 watts—while government-provided stoves have a power rating of 900… wer rating of 900 watts, making them unsuitable for use in Tomuanhollbung Village. To address this issue, the research team designed a stove that uses waste oil (35,000 kJ/kg) and incorporated embedded system technology, utilizing the French design research method. The research results indicated that by using a DC motor with specifications of 12VDC/3A, 3800 rpm, and a valve diameter of 9.7 x 9.5 x 3.3 cm, a power output of 36W was achieved, with a pressure of 288.7 Pa or 0.00289 bar and an angular velocity of 398.1 rad/s. When the burner stove was first ignited, the flame appeared yellow. With a voltage of 3.7VDC/3A, it produced a rotation of 3795 rpm, a yellow flame, a flame height of 8 cm from the stove, and a flame width diameter of approximately 18 cm. At a voltage of 3.7VDC, the pressure measured 0.000964 bar, with a flame temperature of 275°C (as measured by an infrared sensor). A voltage of 7.4VDC resulted in a pressure of 0.0192 bar and a flame temperature of 350°C, while a voltage of 11.8VDC produced a pressure of 0.0289 bar with a maximum flame temperature of 420°C. For fuel consumption over 10 minutes at 3.7VDC/3A, the flame height reached 7-10 cm, with a wind pressure of 0.000964 bar and a fuel consumption of 0.237 grams.                                                           Keywords : embedded system burner stove; microcontroller; snail dc  motor.   Abstrak: Dilatar belakangi masalah kelangkaan elpiji didesa tomuanhollbung, serta tidak berhasilnya konversi kompor elpiji  menuju kompor listrik karena daya listrik rumah masyarakat berdaya 450wat,  daya kompor pemerintah 900watt, sehingga tidak bisa digunakan. Dari masalah tersebut, tujuan utama penelitian ini merancang kompor berbahan bakar oli bekas, yang mampu mengatasi masalah kelangkaan gas elpiji dan tidak terpakainya kompor dari pemerintah psat.  Metode penelitian ini menggnakan metode prototype sehingga menghasilkan satu produk kompor burner dengan mengatur kecepatan motor DC. Hasil penelitian mendapati data pengujian mendapati bahwa dengan menggunakan motor DC Keong spesifikasi tegangan 12VDC/3A, 3800 rpm, dengan diameter katup 9,7 x 9.5 x 3.3cm menghasilkan daya 36W, dengan tekanan 288.7Pa atau 0.00289bar kecepatan sudut 398.1 rad/s. Ketika kompor burner pertama kali dinyalakan, warna api berwarna kunig. Jika tegangan 3.7VDC/3A akan menghasilkan putaran 3795rpm  nyala api kuning, tinggi api 8cm dari tunggku kompor, dan diameter lebar keluarnya api dari tungku berkisar 18cm. Tegangan 3,7VDC maka menghasilkan tekanan 0.000964bar, nyala api 275 0C (pembacaan sensor infrared).  Tegangan 7.4VDC menghasilkan tekanan 0.0192 bar, nyala api 350 0C, dan Tegangan 11.8 VDC tekanan 0.0289 bar, nyala api maksimal 420 0C.  Untuk konsumsi bahan bakar selama 10 menit, dengan tegangan 3.7VDC/3A mendapati nyala api setinggi 7-10 cm, tekanan angin senilai 000964 bar dan konsumsi bahan bakar 0.237 gram. Kesimpulan penelitian ini mendapati bahwa nyala api kompor burner bisa di atur seperti nyala api kompor elpiji pada umum nya.                                                      Kata kunci: kompor burner embedded system, microcontroller, motor dc keong.

APPLICATION OF THE BINARY NUMBER SYSTEM IN BLOOD GROUP TYPE CHECKING BASED EMBEDDED SYSTEM

Abstract: Abstract: The Indonesian Red Cross or abbreviated as PMI, is one of the organizations in Indonesia engaged in the humanitarian field. PMI has branches in all cities in Indonesia such as the red cross in Asahan district.&#8230; Currently, the Asahan district red cross has a blood donation stock of ± 100/360 cc per bag. The purpose of designing a blood group type reader is to increase the certainty of blood types that are tested by experts or medical workers from PMI Asahan, according to the testing of the tool design. This study used a qualitative type of method, namely data taken in the form of data on the condition of the blood when rhesus fluid was given, so that the data will be calibrated with the test results so that the right test results can be decided. The results of testing the device design with blood and fluids, found that blood group A+ got an LDR value of 19.5 and 4 with a bina-ry condition of 101, while for blood group B+ got an LDR value of 19, 4 and 4 with a bi-nary condition of 011, blood group AB+ got a value LDR 19, 3 and 4 with binary condi-tion 111, blood type O+ found LDR values 19, 2 and 4 with binary condition 001. Mean-while for basic conditions, or not detecting blood type, LDR conditions 20, <=4, <=4 and binary value is 000. After testing, all results of testing the design of the tool are in full ac-cordance with the results of the conclusions of the PMI Asahan medical personnel about the type of blood group   Keywords: binary; blood donation; blood type detector   Abstrak: Palang Merah Indonesia atau disingkat PMI, merupakan salah satu organisasi di Indonesia yang bergerak dalam bidang kemanusiaan. PMI memiliki cabang di seluruh kota di Indonesia seperti palang merah di kabupaten asahan. Saat ini palang merah kabupaten asahan memiliki stok sumbangan darah ± 100/360 cc setiap kantong. Tujuan dirancang nya alat pembaca jenis golongan darah untuk menambah kepastian jenis darah yang diuji tenaga ahli atau medis PMI Asahan, sesuai dengan pengujian dari rancangan alat. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis metode kualitatif, yaitu data yang diambil berupa data kondisi darah ketika dikasi cairan resus, sehingga data tersebut akan dikalibrasi dengan hasil pengujian sehingga memutuskan hasil pengujian tepat. Hasil pengujian rancangan alat dengan darah dan cairan,  mendapati bahwa untuk golongan darah A+ mendapati nilai LDR 19, 5 dan 4 dengan kondisi biner 101, sementara untuk golongan darah B+ mendapati nilai LDR 19, 4 dan 4 dengan kondisi biner 011, golongan darah AB+ mendapati nilai LDR 19, 3 dan 4 dengan kondisi biner 111, golongan darah O+ mendapati nilai LDR 19, 2 dan 4 dengan kondisi biner 001. Sementara untuk kondisi dasar, atau tidak mendeteksi golongan darah, kondisi LDR 20, <=4, <= 4 dan nilai biner 000. Setelah dilakukannya pengujian, maka disimpulkan seluruh hasil pengujian rancangan alat sepenuhnya sesuai dengan hasil kesimpulan tenaga medis PMI Asahan tentang jenis golongan darah.   Kata kunci: biner; donor darah; pendeteksi golongan darah
