The Influence of Accountability Factors, Professionalism, and Auditor Experience on Audit Quality with Reward as a Moderation Empirical Study of Public Accounting Firm in Sulawesi, Maluku and Papua Regions

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of auditor competence, independence, and experience on audit quality. This study is important because of the increasing demand from users of financial statements for quality… uality audit reports. The population of this study were auditors working at a Public Accounting Firm domiciled in Bogor with a sample of 69 respondents. The sample was selected using the convenience sampling method. The data processing and analysis methods used were descriptive statistics, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression testing and hypothesis testing. The data were tested using SPSS software version 25. The findings of this study indicate that the independent variables in this study, namely accountability, professionalism, and experience, simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on Audit Quality.

Behavioral Aspects Approaches in Encouraging Green Accounting Practices for MSMEs In West Sulawesi: Spirituality and Kalindaqdaq Perspective

Abstract: The issue of environmental sustainability for the UMKM sector is new considering that the emphasis on green accounting practices has focused on large companies that are listed as publicly listed companies. In the context… of sustainable business practices, policies that specifically promote the implementation of green accounting among UMKM are still limited. The purpose of this study is to identify and examine the determinants of behavioural aspects in encouraging awareness of UMKM green accounting practices in West Sulawesi from the perspective of spirituality and Kalindaqdaq Mandar culture. The research method used in this research is a mix method with a concurrent model to analyse quantitatively and qualitatively simultaneously. The quantitative method with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach was conducted to test the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) in green accounting practices. The results of this study indicate that UMKM players in West Sulawesi have not yet carried out green accounting practices but in general they already have the intention to practice green accounting. Another finding is that government policies can encourage green accounting practices so that the government needs to pay attention to the importance of regulations governing the obligation of UMKM players to carry out green accounting practices, awareness of green accounting practices that are early owned by UMKM can encourage the practice of awareness of green accounting practices in the future

Organizational behavior factors play an important role in determining the success or failure… re of system implementation. This abstract discusses the background of the problem regarding organizational behavior factors in the implementation of financial accounting systems. Problems that often arise related to organizational behavior factors in the implementation of financial accounting systems include resistance to change, lack of management support, lack of skills and knowledge, lack of communication and involvement, and an organizational culture that does not support change. Resistance to change can arise from discomfort with changes in usual work routines or uncertainty about the success of the new system. Inadequate management support can hinder employee participation and motivation in adopting the new system. Lack of skills and knowledge needed to operate the new system can hinder effective acceptance and use. Ineffective communication and lack of employee involvement in the implementation process can lead to ambiguity and resistance. An organizational culture that does not support change and innovation can be a serious obstacle to the implementation of financial accounting systems. In addressing organizational behavior factors, it is important to pay attention to employee attitudes and perceptions, management support, effective communication, training and learning, and an organizational culture that supports change. Involving employees in the planning and decision-making stages, providing adequate training, and creating a culture that is open to change can increase the success of implementing a financial accounting system.

Differences in Accounting Laboratory Learning Outcomes Based on Educational Background

Abstract: This research aims to find out how student learning outcomes differ in the Accounting Laboratory course based on previous educational background. The population in this sample is all 91 students who filled out the Googleform… form provided. The sample size was obtained using the Yamane formula for the two independent variables, namely SMK with 40 students and SMA with 20 students. The type of research in this research is quantitative comparative using the independent sample t-test analysis technique, with the test carried out being a difference test of one group of samples (pairs). The results of this research are that there is no statistically significant difference between the learning outcomes of students with vocational/MAK backgrounds and the learning outcomes of students with high school/MA backgrounds. Literature Study of Sukuk as a Sharia Securities Instrument

Abstract: Sukuk is one of the subjects in the field of Sharia accounting that is growing rapidly in Islamic finance as an alternative investment instrument that has attracted investors' interest in the last few decades. This article… le aims to provide a deeper understanding of the topics raised, and the theories and methodologies used in research conducted in all countries in the world in the last 10 years (2010-2020). A review of articles from Publish or Perish that is indexed by Scopus and guided by the NVivo R1 application is used to analyze the data. From the results of the study, it was found, firstly about the trend of research on sukuk over the last 10 years by categorizing it from the publishing journal, year of publication, country, and research theme. Second, it was found that there were 29 theories used in previous articles related to the review of the Sukuk literature as an investment in Islamic securities. Furthermore, this theory influences the methods used for research, there are 29 methodologies found in previous articles. Third, the findings regarding research gaps are based on themes for further research

PENYUSUNAN LAPORAN KEUANGAN UMKM BERDASARKAN SAK EMKM: STUDI KASUS TOKO AL HUDA KEBUMEN

Abstract:   Most micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia have not prepared financial statements that comply with applicable standards, posing risks to inaccurate business decisions and limiting opportunities to access… o access funding. This study aims to assist Al Huda Plastic and Baking Supplies Store in Kebumen in preparing financial statements in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM). This topic was chosen due to the importance of accounting literacy in managing small businesses, as the understanding of MSME actors regarding accounting standards is still relatively low. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach, utilizing observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results show that Al Huda Store has been recording its finances manually. However, these records do not yet cover the components of financial statements required by SAK EMKM, such as the income statement, statement of financial position, and notes to the financial statements. The preparation of financial statements based on these standards has been carried out and demonstrates more accurate and structured financial information. In conclusion, the implementation of financial statements based on SAK EMKM in MSMEs plays a very important role in increasing accountability and quality in business decision-making. The results of this study also provide practical examples that can be used as references and re-applied by other MSMEs with similar characteristics

Abstract: Financial management training for small and medium enterprises is very relevant in overcoming the challenges faced by new business owners, especially in the Rumah Hasanah community as the target community. With a focus on… n financial management, this training aims to provide an in-depth understanding of how to build a new business in terms of financial management so that the business can run effectively. This activity considers the limited resources often faced by new businesses, such as limited budgets and lack of experience in financial administration issues. To overcome this gap, this accounting training uses an Android platform-based application, namely the SME Accounting Application from developer Wiinfeel. Thus, SMEs can get updated financial accounting knowledge as well as improve the skills of recording financial transactions so that their digital financial literacy level increases. The results of this training received a very positive response from the participants because they could gain new understanding and experience related to basic financial concepts and effective financial management techniques. And as much as possible they want similar activities to be carried out on an ongoing basis in the future.

THE INFLUENCE OF MACHIAVELLIAN LOVE OF MONEY ON THE ETHICAL PERCEPTION OF ACCOUNTING STUDENTS (A STUDY ON ACCOUNTING STUDENTS OF GORONTALO STATE UNIVERSITY)

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of Love of Money and Machiavellian traits on the ethical perceptions of accounting students. The independent variables in this study are Love of Money (X1) and Machiavellian traits… s (X2), while the dependent variable is the ethical perception of accounting students (Y). This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population of this study consists of accounting students at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, with a total sample of 32 respondents selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires via Google Forms and analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software.The results of the study indicate that partially, Love of Money has a positive and significant effect on the ethical perceptions of accounting students. This suggests that students perceive money as a motivation to achieve success in an ethical manner. Meanwhile, Machiavellian traits have a negative and significant effect on the ethical perceptions of accounting students, indicating that the higher the tendency toward manipulation and self-interest orientation, the lower the level of ethical perception. Simultaneously, Love of Money and Machiavellian traits have a significant effect on the ethical perceptions of accounting students.

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING PRACTICES AT IMANUEL CHURCH IN GORONTALO CITY

Abstract: This study aims to analyze and describe the management accounting practices applied at Imanuel Church in Gorontalo City as a nonprofit organization. The dimensions examined include budget planning, internal control, financial… ncial reporting, and the evaluation of financial performance and ministry programs. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Research informants consisted of the Head of BPHMJ (Daily Working Body of the Congregation Council), the Treasurer, the Secretary, and Church Officials directly involved in financial management. The findings indicate that management accounting practices at Imanuel Church have not yet functioned optimally: (1) budget planning lacks a structured and documented annual budget system; (2) internal control does not yet apply the principle of segregation of duties and has no formal internal audit mechanism; (3) financial reporting is limited to recording cash inflows and outflows and does not comply with ISAK 35; and (4) performance evaluation does not use measurable indicators and no comparison between budget and realization has been conducted. Strengthening of a structured financial management system in accordance with applicable accounting standards is needed.
