Abstract:Solving problems requires the ability to recall the information needed and represented both visually and verbally. This information is obtained, managed and recalled through a system called learning style. This research…
was conducted at Asy-Syifa Al-Inayah Middle School, Jambi City, with the aim of obtaining a description of student representation in solving mathematical problems. Subjects in this study were selected using purposive sampling based on visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles. It is hoped that this research will provide benefits in improving mathematics learning. The results of the research show that the representation of auditory students and visual students in solving mathematical problems each fulfills three indicators, while kinesthetic students only fulfill two indicators of mathematical representation. In presenting information, visual and auditory subjects each tend to present it in the form of images (geometry or number patterns) and create situations based on the problem given. Meanwhile, kinesthetic subjects tend to only create images to clarify problems and facilitate their resolution. In solving problems, both visual and auditory subjects are able to solve problems by making patterns based on the problem given and making conclusions from a pattern. It's just that auditory subjects can shorten problem solving steps by using mathematical expressions. Meanwhile, kinesthetic subjects experience problems in solving combinatorics problems, where they are unable to present images or patterns that can help solve the problem.

Integrated Service (PATENT) problems at the Winongan District Office, Pasuruan Regency with a MANUAL queuing system. From some information gathered from people queuing, services using a manual queuing system are less effective and efficient. So, to meet the needs of good community service, District Office Agencies need to innovate a DIGITAL queuing system. Innovation is a shift from traditional management principles, processes and practices or a shift from old organizational forms to modern management. Government services to the community, known as public services, are a very strategic issue because of the interaction between the government and the community. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach to determine public service innovation. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that public service innovation with a digital queuing system is a conceptual innovation which gives rise to new paradigms, ideas, thinking and breakthroughs. Meanwhile, delivery innovation includes new ways or ways of solving problems, providing services or interacting with clients for the purpose of providing special services to customers.

Abstract:BPJS services certainly cannot be separated from efforts to maintain service quality standards which at least include service procedures, completion time, service costs, service products, facilities and infrastructure, as…
s well as the competence of service personnel. Therefore, BPJS as an institution that provides health insurance to the public should measure the quality of services provided, especially through the HIS program. The aim of this research is to describe how the Health Insurance Administering Agency (BPJS) provides services at the Merauke Regency Regional General Hospital (RSUD Merauke Regency). The research method used is a qualitative descriptive technique. Based on the research results, the availability of adequate health facilities and equipment at BPJS counters can help officers in carrying out their duties in providing services to BPJS participants and is a factor that influences services at BPJS counters in Merauke-General Region. the affected hospitals are physical evidence. In accessing health services, officers must be sensitive in handling patient complaints and nursing staff must be responsive in resolving complaints from BPJS participants. Apart from that, nurses or civil servants must be punctual and each have an educational background related to BPJS. This applies to both training in the health and non-health sectors and the last is certainty, namely that to get services from BPJS, patients must follow the procedures set out in regional regulations, do not follow
Abstract:Twenty-first-century science education requires students not only to master scientific concepts but also to possess critical thinking skills to analyze, evaluate, and solve problems logically. The reality in schools indicates…
cates that science learning is still frequently teacher-centered, resulting in students’ conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills not being optimally developed. This study aimed to determine the relationship between conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills among eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri Karoaipi on the topic of the human respiratory system. The study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The research sample consisted of 25 students selected through a convenience sampling technique. Data were collected using descriptive tests of conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills, while data analysis was conducted through descriptive statistics, normality testing, and simple linear regression analysis using SPSS. The findings revealed that students’ conceptual understanding was categorized as good, with a mean score of 77.36, while critical thinking skills were also categorized as good, with a mean score of 78.76. Regression analysis demonstrated a correlation coefficient of 0.045 and an R Square value of 0.002, indicating that the relationship between conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills was classified as very low. These findings suggest that critical thinking skills are influenced not only by conceptual mastery but also by learning strategies, problem-solving experiences, analytical activities, and student engagement during science learning. The novelty of this study lies in the empirical finding that strong conceptual mastery does not necessarily correspond to high critical thinking skills among junior high school students in rural schools, particularly on the topic of the human respiratory system.

tencies remain low and have not been optimally developed. This study aims to examine the relationship between critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities among eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Serui and to determine the degree of their empirical association. The study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design, utilizing essay-based test instruments analyzed through simple linear regression. The findings reveal that students’ critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are in the low to moderate categories, with mean scores of 14.56 and 28.72, respectively. The linearity test indicates a significant relationship, while regression analysis produces the equation Y = 21.682 + 0.484X with a significance value of 0.009. The correlation coefficient of 0.487 indicates a moderate positive relationship, and the coefficient of determination of 23.7% shows that critical thinking contributes to problem-solving ability. The results confirm that improvements in critical thinking skills directly influence the enhancement of students’ problem-solving abilities, although other factors also contribute. The novelty of this study lies in the presentation of a quantitative relationship model that remains significant despite non-normally distributed data, as well as in establishing critical thinking as a significant yet partial predictor of problem-solving, thereby providing a foundation for developing more structured, contextual, and higher-order thinking-based instructional strategies.
