public speaking, during the job interview process. It was done online through a Zoom meeting, which was opened for vocational college students in Madiun City, East Java. The activity was done in May 2024, starting from the preparation, implementation, and evaluation process. It ran well and benefited vocational college students by equipping them with and broadening their knowledge regarding the job interview process. The participants’ feedback was positive, in which the survey results showed that the community service activity improved their public speaking skills and confidence. The participants also provided a rough description of the job interview process through mock interviews. It is hoped that a similar activity will be carried out continuously in the future.

Banyak lulusan kampus vokasi yang kesulitan saat menjalani proses interviu kerja. Untuk itu, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi bahasa Inggris mahasiswa vokasi terutama pada public speaking di proses wawancara kerja. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara daring melalui Zoom meeting yang dibuka bagi mahasiswa vokasi di kota Madiun, Jawa Timur. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2024 yang dimulai dari proses persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar dan bermanfaat bagi para mahasiswa vokasi dalam memperlengkapi dan memperluas wawasan mereka mengenai proses wawancara kerja. Umpan balik dari para peserta menunjukkan nilai positive dimana hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini meningkatkan kemampuan public speaking para peserta dan rasa percaya diri mereka. Para peserta juga mendapatkan gambaran kasar mengenai proses wawancara kerja melalui kegiatan mock-interview. Diharapkan bahwa kegiatan sejenis dapat diadakan berkelanjutan di masa mendatang.

The first semester is used to design and develop a prototype of the school's website, while the second semester is focused on analyzing and testing its effectiveness. The limitation of this study lies in creating a prototype school website that can support the teaching and learning process in schools through digital-based teaching media. The results of this development research are a prototype of a school website that is ready to be tested. The prototype of the school website developed is expected to be a valuable medium for schools, students, and parents to support a more effective and efficient learning process. Thus, this research is expected to open the door to a more inclusive and quality education for all children in Parepare.

Pembelajaran berbasis digital menjadi kendala terbesar yang dihadapi oleh sekolah mitra. Hal ini berdampak pada aksesibilitas materi pembelajaran dan informasi yang terbatas. Oleh karena itu, PKM ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah prototipe website untuk sekolah dasar sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan aksesibilitas pendidikan di sekolah mitra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan design based research, yang terdiri dari dua semester. Semester pertama digunakan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan prototipe website sekolah, sementara semester kedua difokuskan pada analisis dan pengujian efektivitasnya. Batasan kajian ini terletak pada pengembangkan prototipe website sekolah yang dapat memberikan dukungan terhadap proses belajar mengajar di sekolah melalui media ajar berbasis digital. Hasil dari penelitian pengembangan ini berupa prototipe website sekolah yang siap untuk diujicobakan. Prototipe website sekolah yang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat menjadi media yang bermanfaat bagi sekolah, siswa, dan orang tua dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini diharapkan mampu membuka pintu menuju pendidikan yang lebih inklusif dan berkualitas bagi semua anak di Kota Parepare.

The program we proposed, namely Reading Corner, took place at Imanuel Orphanage in Palangka. The program was carried out by assessing the needs, designing the Reading Corner, and implementing it. Reading Corner serves as a facility for extensive reading at home. Reading Corner allows the children to read various types of books based on their preferences. The result of this program indicated that the children looked enthusiastic about the books as they chose and borrowed the book to read. The closer children are to the books, the more often they will use their time to access and read the books. In line with that, it is expected that the literacy level of Indonesian will increase.

Mengembangkan budaya membaca merupakan bentuk dari penyelenggaraan pendidikan, maka dari itu budaya membaca harus ditanamkan sejak dini pada anak. Namun, tidak semua anak dapat merasakan fasilitas seperti membaca aneka jenis buku bacaan yang sesuai minatnya, seperti halnya anak-anak di panti asuhan. Maka dari itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat baca pada anak di Panti Asuhan Imanuel Palangka Raya. Program yang dilaksanakan adalah dengan menyediakan fasilitas Reading Corner atau pojok baca. Adapun tahapan kegiatan mencakup pendataan kebutuhan, perancangan, dan pelaksanaan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk menghadirkan Reading Corner di panti asuhan guna memberikan akses kepada anak-anak untuk membaca aneka jenis buku yang menarik dan sesuai dengan minat mereka. Respon anak-anak terhadap Reading Corner sangat positif. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari antusiasme mereka dalam memilih dan meminjam buku bacaan. Diharapakan, semakin dekat anak dengan buku-buku bacaan, maka mereka akan lebih sering menggunakan waktunya untuk mengakses dan membaca buku-buku tersebut. Sejalan dengan itu, kami mengharapkan agar tingkat literasi anak-anak Indonesia semakin meningkat.

ers in Tasikmalaya Regency in receiving and implementing document sterilization cabinet technology to suppress the transmission of the COVID-19 virus through document exchange. The use of ozone and UVC as sterilization media is beneficial but can negatively impact humans in the long term. Therefore education is needed for partners to avoid these negative impacts. This service activity method is partner situation analysis, pre-test, partner education, post-test, and conclusion. The result of this service is that partners have received document sterilization cabinets and UVC as room sterilizers. The results of measuring partner knowledge before and after participating in webinar activities using pre-test and post-test instruments, showed an increase in knowledge, skills and awareness by partners regarding the use of UVC and Ozone on average 83% from the initial condition of not understanding to understanding and skill.

Abstrak: Kesiapan petugas dalam mencegah penyebaran COVID-19 melalui pertukaran dokumen menjadi masalah di masyarakat. Artikel ini membahas tentang bagaimana rekayasa sosial pada petugas Gugus COVID-19 dan petugas Puskesmas Salawu di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya dalam penerima dan implementasi teknologi lemari sterilisasi dokumen guna menekan penularan virus COVID-19 melalui pertukaran dokumen. Penggunaan ozon dan UVC sebagai media sterilisasi sangat efektif, tetapi dapat menghasilkan dampak negatif dalam jangka Panjang, oleh karena itu diperlukan edukasi kepada mitra agar terhindar dari dampak negatif tersebut. Metode pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah analisis situasi mitra, Pre-test, edukasi mitra, post-test dan kesimpulan. Hasil dari pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah mitra telah menerima lemari sterilisasi dokumen dan UVC sebagai sterilisasi ruangan. Hasil pengukuran terhadap pengetahuan mitra sebelum dan setelah mengikuti kegiatan webinar menggunakan instrumen pre-test dan post-test, menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan kewaspadaan oleh mitra terkait penggunaan UVC dan Ozon rata-rata 83% dari kondisi awal tidak memahami menjadi paham dan terampil.

This proposal will then be submitted to the LPPM (Institute for Research and Community Service) as the coordinator of P2M activities. The quality of the P2M proposal significantly influences the implementation of these activities. Therefore, the quality and quantity of P2M proposal creation can be improved through training. This article will discuss the training conducted with the main objective of enhancing the ability of lecturers to prepare research and community service proposals within the Aceh Polytechnic environment. The training aims to ensure that lecturers can create proposals that meet administrative standards, thereby obtaining approval and support from the LPPM of Aceh Polytechnic. By improving the lecturers' ability to prepare proper and correct proposals, the quality and quantity of research and community service at Aceh Polytechnic will significantly increase.

Abstrak: Penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (P2M) adalah elemen krusial yang dapat dilakukan perguruan tinggi untuk mengatasi tantangan dan masalah yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat. Berdasarkan sistem administrasi di perguruan tinggi, sebelum dapat memulai program P2M ini maka diperlukan serangkaian proses termasuk pembuatan proposal yang baik dan benar yang nantinya akan diserahkan kepada pihak LPPM selaku koordinator kegiatan P2M. Pembuatan proposal P2M yang berkualitas akan sangat berpengaruh terhadap terlaksananya kegiatan P2M ini, terkait hal tersebut kualitas dan kuantitas pembuatan proposal P2M dapat ditingkatkan dengan dilakukannya pelatihan. Artikel ini akan membahas pelatihan yang dilakukan dengan tujuan utama meningkatkan kemampuan dosen dalam menyusun proposal penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di lingkungan Politeknik Aceh. Pelatihan ini bertujuan memastikan dosen mampu membuat proposal yang memenuhi standar administrasi, sehingga bisa mendapatkan persetujuan dan dukungan dari LPPM Politeknik Aceh. Dengan meningkatnya kemampuan dosen dalam menyusun proposal yang baik dan benar maka juga akan meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas penelitian serta pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Politeknik Aceh akan mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan.

nd to mimic their parents' attitudes and behaviours. Positive attitudes, empathy and tolerance from parents can encourage children to adopt these values. Parents who are actively involved and open to effective communication help children develop empathy and feel supported, making them more likely to report or seek help in bullying situations. Parents need to understand the psychological and legal aspects of bullying and school violence prevention to protect their children's well-being. Psychological knowledge helps recognise early signs of trauma and provide emotional support, as well as establishing the values of empathy, tolerance and respect in children. Legal knowledge enables parents to take appropriate action if their child is victimised, liaise with schools and authorities, and ensure anti-bullying policies are implemented. This regulation creates a safe and supportive environment for children to grow. Strengthening parents' understanding and knowledge of bullying prevention and its psychological and legal impacts was done through counselling activities. This counselling presented material on the psychological impact of bullying on children and the legal consequences for perpetrators and omission of bullying activities for both children and schools and parents. The counselling sessions were attended by parents, teachers, and school committees. The counselling participants said that after attending the training, their knowledge about bullying, its impact, and preventive measures improved. The results of the questionnaire before and after attending the counselling showed increased participants' understanding.

Abstrak: Perundungan dan kekerasan di sekolah berdampak parah pada perkembangan mental dan emosional anak serta mengganggu proses belajar mengajar. Data FSGI, pada periode Januari-Juli 2023 terdapat 16 kasus perundungan dengan 43 korban. Jumlah ini meningkat menjadi 23 kasus pada periode Januari-September 2023, dengan tingkat perundungan tertinggi terjadi di sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) yang mencapai 50%, bahkan 2 orang meninggal dunia selama periode tersebut SMP Muhammadiyah Kembaran juga menghadapi masalah ini. Untuk mencegah bullying dan kekerasan, diadakan penyuluhan dengan metode ceramah dan diskusi guna memberikan pemahaman komprehensif dan praktis. Kegiatan ini melibatkan guru dan orang tua untuk menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman. Hasil penyuluhan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan kesadaran peserta tentang dampak negatif bullying dan kekerasan serta pentingnya peran setiap orang dalam pencegahannya, yang terbukti dari hasil kuesioner sebelum dan sesudah sesi penyuluhan.

The method used is the test work before and after the intervention. The delivery of material using the media continued with questions and answers from the presenters. The data results showed that the level of knowledge before the intervention was 15.2% and after the intervention showed an increase of 54.5%. Abstrak: Perilaku sehat adalah perilaku yang berkaitan dengan upaya mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kesehatan. Salah satu perilaku sehat adalah makan dengan menu seimbang. Pola konsumsi yang sehat harus diterapkan untuk dapat memenuhi nutrisi sehari-hari. Pemberian edukasi khusus kepada remaja diharapkan mampu memberikan pengetahuan khususnya tentang makanan yang bergizi. Kegiatan pemberian edukasi mengenai makanan bergizi dan kategori makanan bergizi, Pendidikan Kesehatan tentang manfaat makanan bergizi, memberikan Pendidikan Kesehatan tentang anjuran mengonsumsi mie instan, memberikan edukasi Kesehatan tentang bahaya mengonsumsi mie instan dalam jumlah yang berlebih kepada 33 responden. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pengerjaan test sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Penyampaian materi dengan menggunakan media dan dilanjutkan dengan tanya jawab dari pemateri. Hasil data menunjukkan bahwa Tingkat pengetahuan sebelum diberikan intervensi 15,2% dan setelah dilakukan intervensi menunjukan peningkatan sebesar 54,5%. Tujuan dari pemberian edukasi ini diharapkan responden tidak hanya mengerti, tetapi juga dapat menerapkannya dalam kebiasaan pribadi maupun keluarga.

S1 Nutrition Study Program STIK Sint Carolus together with Nutritionists from the Galur Supporting Community Health Center provided counseling to mothers of toddlers on the topic "Let's Check the Coins (Composition and Nutritional Value Information) on Food Packaging" to 20 mothers of toddlers who visited the Posyandu. Counseling participants are given an identity and pretest form to fill out. The first session included material on definitions and food labels, and the second session provided material on how to read composition and nutritional value information. The third session involved practicing reading packaged food and conducting questions and answers and filling in the posttest form. After 3 days of providing material, monitoring and evaluation was carried out via Whatsapp. Based on the results of statistical analysis, 55% of mothers were classified as lacking knowledge during the pretest. However, it increased after nutrition education was carried out to 95% of mothers who were classified as well informed. The results of the Wilcoxon analysis show that there is a difference in knowledge between before and after counseling with p-value = 0.007. The results of monitoring and evaluation from 5 mothers, 100% of mothers had paid attention to food labels on packaging, especially composition and nutritional information. There has been a change in practice in reading food labels.

ring of hypertension can be done through community health centers or the posyandu program. participants providing community service are characterized by staff who supervise people with hypertension, the most common disease. this service is carried out through active lectures and discussions with participants. the activities show that cadres already know about hypertension and know how to prevent complications and how cadres regularly measure blood pressure independently. therefore, there is a need for creative health promotion initiatives and targeting the right people/groups so that better changes can be made in the future.

ducation report card and also from observations regarding the implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS). It is hoped that the literacy movement that has been implemented in schools can help students improve their literacy skills. However, on the contrary, this movement has not been carried out optimally so that literacy skills are still low. Students' literacy skills are low because students' interest in reading is also low. Therefore, teachers in this case should have creativity in accompanying the implementation of school literacy movement activities. One way to increase students' reading comprehension is by implementing a reading challenge method. In this method, students will be invited to go to the reading corner or library to read books they like. The teacher here supervises or monitors students who are reading. Then, 15 minutes before the lesson starts, students report to the teacher the books they have read. For students who read the most, for example in one month, that student is given a reward. Through this activity, it is hoped that students at the school will be able to increase their interest in reading.
