Flipped Classroom in Islamic Education: A Systematic Review of Pedagogical Impact at Junior and Senior High School Levels

Syamsudin, Ahmad, Rofiani Rofiani, Andriyana Andriyana, Zul Andrivat, Azizah Nur Islami
Abstract: The flipped classroom model has increasingly been implemented as an alternative instructional approach in the digital era, including in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) at junior and senior high school levels. This article… cle aims to systematically examine eight empirical publications from 2021 to 2025 that explore the application of this model within IRE contexts. The review focuses on instructional design, pedagogical outcomes, and implementation challenges. Findings from the analyzed studies suggest that applying the flipped classroom model in IRE can enhance students’ cognitive understanding, foster learning motivation, and develop critical and collaborative thinking skills. However, the effectiveness of this model depends heavily on the quality of digital learning design, the teacher’s readiness to facilitate active learning, and the ability to meaningfully integrate Islamic values into the learning process. In addition, this model faces several challenges, including limitations in technological infrastructure, lack of professional teacher training, and the need for curriculum adaptation. This study highlights the importance of systemic support and digital competency development among educators to ensure that flipped classroom implementation is not merely a technical strategy, but a means of strengthening the spiritual dimension and core values of Islamic education in the digital age.

Abstract: Psychological measurement tools are fundamental in sports psychology for assessing mental toughness, performance anxiety, motivation, and resilience in athletes. Despite increasing research in this field, a comprehensive… bibliometric analysis of global trends, collaboration networks, and thematic developments remains limited. This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of 489 Scopus-indexed articles published between 1977 and 2025 to examine publication trends, key contributors, and thematic structures. Results indicate that the United States (32.5%), United Kingdom (15.8%), Germany (9.6%), and Canada (7.3%) are the leading contributors, with emerging research from Slovenia (2.1%) and Uruguay (1.7%). Institutional collaborations highlight strong interdisciplinary ties, particularly between the Center for Addictive Disorders and the Faculty of Medicine and Health. Co-authorship analysis identifies Nikos Ntoumanis (98 publications) and Jennifer Cumming (76 publications) as pivotal researchers, while citation network analysis highlights influential clusters led by Joan L. Duda (4,532 citations) and Andreas Ivarsson (3,215 citations). Bradford’s Law identifies Psychology of Sport and Exercise and Journal of Applied Sport Psychology as core journals. Thematic mapping reveals that mental toughness (18.4%) and resilience (14.7%) are dominant topics, while psychometrics (6.3%) and competitive anxiety (5.1%) remain underexplored. These findings provide strategic insights for enhancing global research collaboration, bridging psychological theory and practice, and guiding future research directions in sports psychology.

The  Importance Of Learning English At School

Darma, Rizki Novia Darma, Widiastuty, Hesty
Abstract: Through a review of the literature, this article seeks to assess the significance of learning English in school. The study investigates the importance of English language instruction in educational settings by reviewing… pertinent research articles and scholarly publications. The results show the importance of English language instruction in schools and the widespread use of the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach because of its efficiency in the teaching and learning process. The CLT method helps students improve their communication abilities by inspiring them to see English as a useful instrument for efficient conversation. The communicative approach, or communative language teaching (CLT), involves teaching language through communication. This type of language instruction positions communication as both a purpose and a means of learning English. The improvement of students' communication and interpersonal skills is a priority in communicative language instruction. Through contact between students and between students and teachers, it is made sure that students are capable of speaking clearly and confidently in real-life circumstances. CLT fundamentally seeks to have pupils learn a new language by having them to interact with others in that language.

Susan Grace V Nainggolan, Yolanda Naomi Octavia Br. Simangunsong, Ester Simamora, Putri Herlina Munte, Marly Patricia Sihombing, Maria Cristina Rumapea
Abstract: This study aims to examine the application of the High-Low method, Scatterplot, and Least Squares in cost analysis, particularly in separating fixed and variable cost behavior. The research uses a library research approach… ch by collecting and reviewing literature from textbooks, journals, and official publications related to cost estimation and cost behavior modeling. The findings indicate that the High-Low method is simple because it uses only the highest and lowest activity levels, but its accuracy is limited due to reliance on extreme data points. The Scatterplot method provides a visual representation of the relationship between cost and activity, helping identify patterns and potential outliers; however, its results may vary due to subjective judgment in determining the cost line. Meanwhile, the Least Squares method is considered the most accurate because it utilizes all available data to produce the best-fit regression line, although it requires more complex calculations and statistical understanding. Overall, the selection of the most suitable method depends on the objective of the analysis, data availability, and the level of accuracy required
