THE EFFECT OF GIVING GREEN BETEL LEAF EXTRACT ON THE GROWTH OF Bacteroides IN VAGINAL SECRET CULTURE

Abstract: Green betel leaves contain compounds that can treat vaginal discharge, especially those caused by bacteria. To determine the effect of green betel leaf extract on the growth of Bacteroides in vaginal secretion cultures,&#8230; this study used a quantitative experimental method, where vaginal secretion samples were taken from the subjects and then tested quantitatively. There were two data collection techniques used in this study: using a questionnaire and testing vaginal secretion samples with green betel leaf extract. The test for using was diffusion (paper disc) for the antibacterial test. The media used was MHA. The positive control used was a blank disc, the extract concentration series used were 20%, 25% and 30%. The diameter of the inhibition zone was observed and then analyzed. The results of the t-test analysis showed that the significance value was 0.00 <0.05, so H0 was rejected Ha was accepted or it could be concluded that there was a difference in the effect of giving green betel leaf extract on the growth of Bacteroides in vaginal secretion culture. Antibacterial activity test of green betel leaves (Piper betle L) against Bacteroides bacteria that cause Bacterial Vaginosis, namely resistant at a concentration of 20%, intermediate at a concentration of 25% and sensitive at a concentration of 30%. Green betel leaf extract (Piper betle L) has inhibitory power against Bacteroides bacteria that cause Bacterial Vaginosis. Can increase the concentration series of methanol extract of green betel leaves, find the minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) and the maximum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of green betel leaf extract against Bacteroides bacteria that cause Bacterial Vaginosis

TURMERIC EXTRACT EFFECTIVENESS WHITE (CURCUMA DOMESTICA .VALL ) FOR TREATMENT OF BACTERIAL INFECTIONS IN VIBRIO ALGINOLYTICUS MOUSE GROUPER (CROMILEPTES ALTIVELIS)

Abstract: This study were aimed to (1) To study the effectiveness of white turmeric extract Curcuma domestica .Vall in treating a mouse Cromileptes altivelis from the attack of Vibrio alginolyticus., (2) To study the dose of the best&#8230; est white turmeric extract in treating a Cromileptes altivelis from attacks by bacteria Vibrio alginolyticus. (3) To study the effect of white turmeric extract against the survival rate Mouse grouper (Cromileptes altivelis), which in the infection of Vibrio alginolyticus. The experiment was arranged with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Preliminary research conducted LD50 test to determine the pathogenic bacterium V. alginolyticus which caused the death of test fish as much as 50%. In vitro test was done to see anti-bacterial activity of white turmeric extract against V. alginolyticus. From this test, the optimum concentration of white turmeric extract the effective tackling of V. Alginolyticus was obtained was obtained Test in vivo was carried out to determine the effect of the bacteria V. alginolyticus against Cromileptes altivelis healing response in Cromileptes altivelis after giving white turmeric extract. Results showed that (1) MIC and MBC values obtained by concentration of 0.25% and 0.75%, where the concentration of 0.75% was the effective dose of white turmeric extract in tackling the V. alginolyticus (2) The best treatment dose of the best survival rate of Cromileptes altivelis was 1% of white turmeric extract (3) the Survival Rate of mouse grouper wasn’t effected by white turmeric extract treatment significantly    

Prioritisasi Turunan Aaptamine sebagai Kandidat Antibakteri melalui Analisis Swiss-ADME dan Protox-II

Abstract: Antimicrobial resistance has driven the urgent need to develop new antibacterial candidates with favorable efficacy, pharmacokinetic properties, and safety profiles. Aaptamine derivatives, secondary metabolites isolated&#8230; from marine sponges of the genus Aaptos, have demonstrated potential as drug candidates; however, studies evaluating their drug-likeness, Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, and Excretion (ADME) properties, and toxicity profiles remain limited. This study aimed to prioritize aaptamine, demethyl(oxy)aaptamine, and isoaaptamine as potential antibacterial candidates through SwissADME and ProTox-II analyses using an in silico approach. The results demonstrated that all three compounds satisfied the Lipinski's Rule of Five criteria for drug-likeness, exhibited high gastrointestinal absorption, and achieved a bioavailability score of 0.55. All compounds were predicted to belong to toxicity class 4, with predicted LD₅₀ values of 1300 mg/kg for aaptamine, 500 mg/kg for demethyl(oxy)aaptamine, and 1350 mg/kg for isoaaptamine, while none showed hepatotoxic or cytotoxic properties. The integrated analysis indicated that isoaaptamine exhibited the most balanced drug-likeness, ADME profile, and safety characteristics, making it the highest-priority antibacterial candidate. This study concludes that the integration of SwissADME and ProTox-II provides an effective preliminary approach for screening marine natural product-derived drug candidates. The novelty of this study lies in the integrated application of drug-likeness, ADME, and toxicity analyses to systematically prioritize three aaptamine derivatives, thereby providing a more comprehensive lead compound selection strategy for antibacterial drug discovery.

Penerapan Metode Algoritma C4.5 untuk Menentukan Kualitas Telur Ayam Australia Terbaik

Abstract: Abstract: Australia chicken eggs are one of the animal foods that are consumed in addition to meat, fish and milk. Australian chicken eggs contain high nutrition, sustainable availability, and relatively higher prices compared&#8230; mpared to other eggs, making Australian chicken eggs in great demand by consumers. However, Australian chicken eggs are easily damaged and decreased in quality due to the entry of bacteria into the eggs. CV. Bintang Ternak selection of quality eggs is still done manually by employees, so there is a need for a new method in determining quality eggs. cv. Bintang Ternak has a sample of 90 Australian chicken eggs. The sample used is Australian chicken egg shell, in determining the quality of Australian chicken eggs can be seen from the condition of the egg shells. Planning in solving these problems will use the C4.5 algorithm method. With the application of the C4.5 algorithm method contained in the rapidminer5 application, there are several advantages to be gained, namely in making a simpler decision, shortening employee work, more flexibility in selecting class attributes, accuracy in predicting more effectively and efficiently and easy to understand with there are conclusions generated by the rapidminer5 application that can be seen from the decision tree or rules obtained using 90 samples of test data resulting in an accuracy of 90%.   Keywords: Rapid Miner5;Algorithm C4.5;Determining the Best Quality of Australian Chicken Eggs.   Abstract: Telur Ayam Autralia merupakan salah satu bahan makanan hewani yang dikonsumsi selain daging, ikan dan susu. Telur ayam australia mengandung gizi yang tinggi, ketersediaan yang berkelanjutan, dan harga yang relatif lebih dibandingkan dengan telur lainnya sehingga menjadikan telur ayam australia sangat diminati oleh para konsumen. Namun, telur ayam australia mudah mengalami kerusakan dan penurunan kualitas akibat masuknya bakteri kedalam telur. CV. Bintang Ternak pemilihan telur yang berkualitas masih dilakukan secara manual oleh karyawan, sehigga perlu adanya metode terbaru dalam penentuan telur yang berkualitas. Cv. Bintang Ternak memiliki sampel telur ayam australia 90 butir. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu kulit telur ayam australia, dalam menentukan kualitas telur ayam australia dapat dilihat dari kondisi kulit telurnya. Perencanaan dalam penyelesaian permasalahan tersebut akan menggunakan metode algoritma C4.5. Dengan adanya penerapan metode algoritma C4.5 yang terdapat pada aplikasi rapidminer5 maka ada beberapa keuntungan yang didapat diperoleh yaitu dalam mengambil suatu keputusan lebih sederhana, mempersingkat pekerja karyawan, lebih fleksibel dalam pemilihan atribut kelas, keakuratan dalam memprediksi lebih efektif dan efisien dan mudah dipahami dengan adanya kesimpulan yang dihasilkan oleh aplikasi rapidminer5 yang dapat dilihat dari pohon keputusan atau rule yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan 90 sampel data uji memghasilkan akurasi sebesar 90%.   Kata kunci:RapidMiner5;Algoritma C4.5;Menentukan Kualitas Telur Ayam Australia Terbaik.  

Penyuluhan Dan Pelatihan Pembuatan Sabun Cuci Piring Dari Kulit Terong Ungu Di Desa Dawuhan

Abstract: Abstract: Eggplant is one of the most widely cultivated food commodities in Indonesia. One of them was carried out by "Dawuhan Jaya", the eggplant farmer group in Dawuhan Village, Tenggarang District, Bondowoso Regency,&#8230; in which the majority of its members cultivated purple eggplant varieties. All the time, eggplant peel is usually thrown away when the vegetable is consumed. It only becomes unutilized waste. However, it is known that purple eggplant peel has many health benefits, including antibacterial and antioxidant. Therefore, in this service activity, product diversification of eggplant peel was carried out to process it into dish soap, a product that is widely used in households. The method used in the implementation of the activity was the participatory rural appraisal. The service activity aimed to empower the community, especially eggplant farmer group partners. The stages of activities carried out included counseling and training to increase the partner’s knowledge and skills regarding processing purple eggplant peel into high-value products. The next stage was mentoring carried out to determine and ensure the partner’s ability in production and marketing activities independently. This program was expected to be able to utilize purple eggplant by-products and increase people's income.             Keywords: dish soap; product diversification; purple eggplant peel    Abstrak: Terong merupakan salah satu komoditas pangan yang banyak dibudidayakan di Indonesia. Salah satunya dilakukan oleh kelompok petani terong “Dawuhan Jaya” di desa Dawuhan, kecamatan Tenggarang, kabupaten Bondowoso yang mayoritas anggotanya membudidayakan varietas terong ungu. Selama ini biasanya kulit terong selalu dibuang bila akan dikonsumsi, sehingga hanya menjadi sampah yang tak termanfaatkan. Namun, diketahui bahwa kulit terong ungu memiliki banyak manfaat bagi kesehatan, diantaranya sebagai antibakteri dan antioksidan. Oleh karena itu, dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan upaya diversifikasi produk kulit terong menjadi produk yang banyak digunakan dalam rumah tangga, seperti sabun cuci piring. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah participatory rural appraisal. Tahapan kegiatan yang dilakukan mencakup penyuluhan dan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra mengenai pengolahan kulit terong ungu menjadi produk yang bernilai jual tinggi. Tahapan selanjutnya adalah pendampingan yang dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui dan memastikan kemampuan mitra dalam kegiatan produksi dan pemasaran secara mandiri. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat, khususnya mitra kelompok petani terong. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memanfaatkan produk sampingan terong ungu sekaligus meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat. DIAGNOSING ANDROID-BASED VIRUS INFECTIONS IN CHILDREN USING NAIVE BAYES

Abstract: Abstract: Infectious diseases are one of the most common health problems in children because they have immature immune systems. Children are more susceptible to infections caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa.&#8230; . Some common infectious diseases in children include fever, acute respiratory infections (ARI), pneumonia, acute gastroenteritis (GAE), measles, chickenpox, and diphtheria. The limited number of pediatricians and the difficulty of accessing health facilities in remote areas hinder children's health services. To overcome this, an Android-based expert system is needed using the Naïve Bayes method to help diagnose infectious diseases in children earlier. The research method used is the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), where Black Box is used for internal testing, and PSSUQ is used to measure user satisfaction. The data set used was 1320 taken from a local hospital. The test results show that all the main features work as expected without any errors. The implementation of the system in diagnosing diseases went well and based on end-user feedback from 74 respondents, the system obtained a user satisfaction score of 6.40, where users felt that the system was easy to use, efficient, and provided clear and useful information.   Keywords: expert system; infectious disease; naïve bayes; PSSUQ; SDLC     Abstrak: Penyakit menular merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan yang paling umum terjadi pada anak-anak karena mereka memiliki sistem kekebalan tubuh yang belum matang. Anak-anak lebih rentan terhadap infeksi yang disebabkan oleh bakteri, virus, jamur, dan protozoa. Beberapa penyakit infeksi yang umum terjadi pada anak-anak antara lain demam, infeksi saluran pernapasan akut (ISPA), pneumonia, gastroenteritis akut (GEA), campak, cacar air, dan difteri. Keterbatasan jumlah dokter spesialis anak dan sulitnya akses ke fasilitas kesehatan di daerah terpencil, menjadi kendala pada pelayanan kesehatan anak. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, diperlukan sistem pakar berbasis Android menggunakan metode Naïve Bayes untuk membantu mendiagnosis penyakit infeksi pada anak-anak lebih dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), di mana Black Box untuk pengujian internal, dan PSSUQ untuk mengukur kepuasan pengguna. Data set yang digunakan adalah 1320 yang diambil dari rumah sakit setempat. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fitur utama berjalan sesuai harapan tanpa kesalahan. Implementasi sistem dalam mendiagnosa penyakit berjalan dengan baik dan berdasarkan umpan balik pengguna akhir dari 74 responden, sistem memperoleh skor kepuasan pengguna sebesar 6,40, di mana pengguna merasa sistem ini mudah digunakan, efisien, serta menyediakan informasi yang jelas dan bermanfaat.   Kata kunci: naïve bayes; penyakit menular; PSSUQ; SDLC; sistem pakar

COMPARISON CANNY AND SOBEL METHODS DETECTING EDGES OF DENTAL CARIES

Abstract: Abstract: In the human body there are parts that act as tools for tearing and tearing food which are commonly called teeth, teeth are sharp and hard parts of the body. Dental caries is the medical term for cavities, dental&#8230; al caries is an infectious disease that damages the hard lining of the teeth. The presence of bacteria or germs found in the oral cavity causes cavities in the teeth. Medical images are useful for seeing the extent of the damage to cavities. Not all images have good quality detection results or have noise. Therefore, Image Processing is used by applying the Canny and Sobel method of edge detection to an image in order to process the results of segmentation and object identification in dental caries images. There are many operators in edge detection, including the Roberts Operator, Prewitt Operator, Laplacian Operator and Laplacian of Gaussian (LOG). The purpose and benefits of establishing an image processing application using Matlab software with the Canny and Sobel method to produce the appearance of an object's boundary line in an image. The results of this study can be concluded from the two operators regarding the advantages and disadvantages of the two operators.       Keywords: dental caries; edge detection;  image; matlab; canny method; sobel method   Abstrak: Pada tubuh manusia ada bagian yang berperan sebagai alat untuk merobek dan mengoyak makanan yang biasa disebut dengan gigi, gigi merupakan bagian tubuh yang tajam dan keras. Karies gigi adalah istilah medis dari gigi berlubang, karies gigi merupakan penyakit infeksi yang merusak jaringan lapisan keras gigi. Adanya bakteri atau kuman yang terdapat pada rongga mulut menjadi penyebab gigi menjadi berlubang. Citra medis berguna untuk melihat sejauh apa kerusakan pada gigi yang berlubang. Tidak semua citra memiliki hasil pendeteksian yang bagus kualitasnya atau memiliki derau (noise). Oleh sebab itu digunakanlah Pengolahan Citra dengan menerapkan deteksi tepi metode Canny dan Sobel pada suatu citra guna untuk memproses hasil segmentasi dan identifikasi objek pada citra karies gigi. Ada banyak operator dalam deteki tepi, diantaranya yaitu, Operator Roberts, Operator Prewitt, Operator Laplacian dan Laplacian of Gaussian (LOG). Tujuan dan manfaat dari dibentuknya sebuah aplikasi pengolahan citra menggunakan software Matlab dengan metode Canny dan Sobel untuk menghasilkan penampakan garis batas suatu objek pada citra.  Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan dari kedua operator mengenai kelebihan dan kekurangan dari kedua operator tersebut.   Kata kunci: citra; deteksi tepi; karies gigi, matlab, metode canny, metode sobel

SKIN DISEASE DETECTION EXPERT SYSTEM USING NAIVE BAYES CLASSIFIER METHOD

Abstract: • Abstract: The skin is an elastic wrapping that protects the body from environmental influences, the skin is the organ that is located on the outside and limits it from the human environment. Skin diseases can be caused&#8230; ed by fungi, viruses, germs, animal parasites, bacterial infections and others. To identify skin diseases, we usually have to see a doctor, but we still experience problems in dealing with disease identification. This is sometimes influenced by the community, sometimes they feel embarrassed to consult their skin disease to a doctor because the signs of skin disease have started to appear, consultation fees and drugs are relatively expensive. Current technological developments are able to process knowledge with artificial intelligence techniques. Due to the many symptoms of disease nowadays, it is necessary to make a system application with artificial intelligence that can diagnose skin diseases and provide solutions for skin diseases using one of the methods, namely the Naïve Bayes Classifier. Naïve Bayes is a simple classification algorithm where each attribute is independent and may contribute to the final decision. The goal is to produce an expert system website that helps the general public in diagnosing skin diseases and providing solutions for detected skin diseases. The results of this study concluded that based on the application of skin cancer diagnosis can display the results of skin cancer diagnosis decisions.    Keywords: expert system; naïve bayes; skin disease  Abstrak: Kulit merupakan pembungkus yang elastis yang melindungi tubuh dari pengaruh lingkungan, kulit merupakan organ tubuh yang terletak paling luar dan membatasinya dari lingkungan hidup manusia. Penyakit kulit dapat disebabkan oleh jamur, virus, kuman, parasit hewani, infeksi bakteri dan lain-lain. Mengidentifikasi penyakit kulit biasanya kita harus ke dokter, namun masih mengalami kendala dalam menangani pengidentifikasi penyakit hal itu terkadang dipengarui oleh masyarakat terkadang merasa malu untuk mengkonsultasikan penyakit kulitnya ke dokter karena tanda-tanda penyakit kulit sudah mulai tampak, biaya konsultasi dan obat yang tergolong mahal. Perkembangan teknologi saat ini mampu mengolah pengetahuan dengan teknik kecerdasan buatan. Karena banyaknya gejala penyakit pada masa sekarang ini perlu dibuat aplikasi sistem dengan kecerdasan buatan yang dapat mendiagnosa penyakit kulit dan memberikan solusi dari penyakit kulit dengan salah satu metode yaitu Naïve Bayes Classifier. Naïve bayes merupakan algoritma klasifikasi yang sederhana dimana setiap atribut bersifat berdiri sendiri dan memungkinkan berkontribusi terhadap keputusan akhir. Tujuannya adalah menghasilkan website sistem pakar yang dan membantu masyarakat luas dalam mendiagnosa penyakit kulit dan memberikan solusi dari penyakit kulit yang terdeteksi. IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM PAKAR UNTUK MENDIAGNOSIS DEMAM TIFOID DAN SARAN PENANGGULANGANNYA

Abstract: Abstarct: Typhoid fever is an acute infectious disease that occurs in the human digestive tract (especially the small intestine) caused by salmonella tyhpi, in different phases the bacteria can spread to the bloodstream&#8230; and even to the human bones. So with this disease detection needs to be done since. This research builds an expert system to diagnose typhoid fever with a backward chaining method with an inference process so that it can be used to produce disease diagnoses based on perceived symptoms and provide appropriate solutions.  Keywords : Expert System, Backward Chaining, Thypoid Fever     Abstrak: Demam Tifoid adalah penyakit infeksi akut yang terjadi pada saluran perncernaan manusia (terutama usus halus) yang disebabkan oleh bakteri salmonella tyhpi, pada fase berbeda bakteri dapat menyebar ke aliran darah bahkan ke tulang manusia. Maka dengan ini perlu pendeteksian penyakit sejak ini. Penelitian ini membangun sistem pakar untuk mendiagnosis penyakit demam tifoid dengan metode backward chaining dengan proses inferensi agar dapat digunakan untuk menghasilkan diagnosa penyakit berdasarkan gejala yang dirasakan serta memberikan solusi yang tepat.   Kata kunci: Sistem Pakar, Backward Chaining, Demam Tifoid..  

Analisa Escherihia coli Penghasil Extended Spectrum Beta-Lactamases (ESBLs) Pada Sampel Makanan Warga Kota Bengkulu

Abstract: Makanan dijaga kualitasnya dari bakteri patogen yang dapat menyebabkan diare. Risiko infeksi melalui makanan tergantung pada kuantitas patogen dalam makanan. Escherichia coli merupakan flora normal saluran intestinal manusia&#8230; usia dan sering menyebabkan penyakit pada manusia. Escherichia coli mudah menyebar antar manusia melalui tangan, makanan dan minuman yang terkontaminasi, merupakan bakteri indikator pencemaran makanan. Escherichia coli merupakan kelompok Enterobacteriaceae penghasil ESBLs sehingga bertanggung jawab terhadap peningkatan biaya perawatan, angka kesakitan, dan angka kematian. E. coli penghasil ESBLs sering ditemukan di Rumah Sakit terkait infeksi nosokomial, namun jarang sekali dilakukan penelitian keberadaan dalam memproduksi ESBLs pada infeksi komunitas. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui prevalensi Escherichia coli dan menganalisa Escherichia coli Penghasil Extended Spectrum Beta- Lactamases (ESBLs) Pada Sampel Makanan Warga Kota Bengkulu. Disain penelitian eksploratif, yaitu penelitian awal untuk memperoleh gambaran awal keberadaan E. coli penghasil ESBL dalam makanan. Data primer kuman E. coli dalam makanan didapatkan dari hasil isolasi dan identifikasi sampel makanan. Data primer E. coli penghasil ESBLs didapatkan dari hasil Uji Screening Metode Kirby Bauer ( Difusi Test ) dan Uji Konfirmasi Bakteri ESBLs Metode DDST (Double Disk Sinergy Test). Simpulan penelitian hasil uji isolasi dan identifikasi dengan menggunakan pewarnaan Gram dan uji IMViC terhadap 30 (100%) sampel dinyatakan negative terhadap kandungan E. coli. Hasil ini memenuhi syarat berdasarkan Permenkes RI No 1096/MENKES/PER/VI/2011 yakni angka bakteri E. coli pada sampel makanan, minuman, dan alat makan adalah 0 atau negatif. Hasil negatif E. coli pada 30 sampel makanan, tidak dapat dilakukan untuk identifikasi bakteri E.coli penghasil ESBLs
