Pengaruh Gross Profit Margin dan Return on Equity terhadap Pertumbuhan Laba Perusahaan pada Perusahaan Industri Makanan Olahan yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2021-2024

Luthfiananda Cahyani, Henny Armaniah

The Effect of Efficiency, Market Ratio, Liquidity and Leverage on Financial Performance: Evidence from Jakarta Islamic Index 70 (JII70)

Zana, Happiness, Santoso, Suryo Budi, Winarni, Dwi, Pratama, Bima Cinintya, Hapsari, Ira
Abstract: Companies listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index 70 (JII70) provide a unique research context because they operate within an Islamic capital market framework that applies sharia screening criteria and financial requirements.… . Despite being guided by the same sharia principles and regulatory environment, JII70 companies still show variations in financial performance. Although previous research has examined the factors that affect financial performance, empirical evidence regarding the influence of efficiency, market ratios, liquidity, and leverage still shows inconsistent results, particularly in companies that comply with sharia principles. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of efficiency, market ratio, liquidity, and leverage on the financial performance of companies listed on JII70 by using Return on Assets (ROA) as a performance indicator. This study uses a quantitative approach by utilizing secondary data obtained from the annual reports of 57 non-financial companies during the period 2021–2025, resulting in 285 company-year observations. Panel data regression analysis was performed using the Fixed Effects model with Driscoll–Kraay error standard to overcome the problems of heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation. The results show that efficiency measured by Total Asset Turnover (TATO) and market ratio measured by Price-to-Book Value (PBV) have a positive and significant effect on financial performance. Meanwhile, liquidity measured by Current Ratio (CR) and leverage measured by Debt-to-Asset Ratio (DAR) have a positive but not statistically significant effect on financial performance. The findings of this study support the Signaling Theory by showing that efficiency and market ratio provide stronger signals regarding company quality and financial performance in the context of the Islamic capital market in Indonesia. These findings provide practical implications for managers in improving company performance as well as for investors in making more informed investment decisions

Hudzaifa, Sarah Ardian, Syah, Silvana
Abstract: This study was motivated by fluctuations in the stock prices of mining sector companies listed in the IDX30 index during 2021–2024, Indonesia’s mineral downstreaming policy, and inconsistencies in previous research findings.… indings. This study aimed to analyze the effects of interest rates and financial performance, as measured by the debt-to-equity ratio (DER) and earnings per share (EPS), on the stock prices of IDX30 mining companies and to examine the moderating role of inflation. The population comprised all mining sector companies listed in the IDX30 index during the year 2021–2024, while the sample was selected using purposive sampling. This study employed a quantitative explanatory approach and panel data regression with Moderated Regression Analysis. The results showed that interest rates had a negative and significant effect on stock prices, whereas EPS had a positive and significant effect. DER did not significantly affect stock prices. Furthermore, inflation did not moderate the effects of interest rates, DER, or EPS on stock prices. These findings imply that mining companies should maintain sustainable profitability and consider interest rate dynamics in financial decision-making. Investors should also consider macroeconomic conditions and company fundamentals when formulating investment strategies.

Yuliasari, Yuliasari
Abstract: This study aims to analyze stock market reactions to Cum-Ex Dividend announcements for companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2024. Market reactions were measured through abnormal returns and stock trading… ding volume before and after Cum-Ex Dividend announcements. This study was motivated by differences in investor behavior in responding to dividend distribution information, which is regarded as a positive signal for the market. The research employed a comparative quantitative method with an event study approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Secondary data were obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange, comprising a sample of 88 issuers that distributed cash dividends. Research variables consisted of stock prices and stock trading volume. Data analysis was performed using dummy regression and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with EViews 12 software. The results showed that the majority of issuers (81.82%) experienced significant market reactions to the Cum-Ex Dividend announcement. A total of 56.82% of issuers showed significant negative reactions consistent with the dividend drop theory, while 25% showed significant positive reactions, indicating that investors viewed dividends as a positive signal for company prospects. Meanwhile, 18.18% of issuers showed no significant reaction to dividend announcements. This study demonstrates that Cum-Ex Dividend announcements affect abnormal returns and stock trading volume, thus providing a basis for investor consideration in making investment decisions in the capital market.

MEMBONGKAR MATA RANTAI KEJAHATAN KERAH PUTIH DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA: INTEGRASI EARNINGS MANAGEMENT, INSIDER TRADING DAN AKSI GORENGAN SAHAM DALAM TINJAUAN ETIKA BISNIS

Hasan, Dewi, Malioy, Winni Tantri, Tanamal, Florenzia M, Arwanti, Wa, Latupono, Kupacaya, Titahalawa, Juan
Tahap hulu (the setup) diawali dengan rekayasa akuntansi melalui penyalahgunaan kapabilitas manajemen.

IPO Effects on Return on Assets: Evidence from Indonesian Listed Companies’ Financial Characteristics

Sumin, Riyansyah, Antony, Lestari, Nurni Arrina
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of Initial Public Offering (IPO) on Return on Assets (ROA) by considering Firm Size, Liquidity, Leverage, and Tangibility in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The… he study adopts a quantitative explanatory research design using secondary data obtained from audited annual financial statements of companies that conducted IPOs during the observation period. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, while panel data were analyzed using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) to examine the relationships among the variables. The findings indicate that IPO has a positive but insignificant effect on ROA, suggesting that additional capital raised through public offerings does not immediately improve corporate profitability. Firm Size and Leverage exhibit significant negative effects on ROA, indicating that larger firms may experience operational inefficiencies, while excessive debt increases financial burdens and reduces profitability. Conversely, Liquidity and Tangibility show positive but insignificant effects on ROA. Simultaneously, IPO, Firm Size, Liquidity, Leverage, and Tangibility significantly influence ROA, with the model explaining 59.11% of the variation in profitability. These findings imply that post-IPO financial performance depends not only on capital acquisition but also on effective asset utilization, prudent debt management, and efficient operational strategies. The study contributes to the literature on post-IPO corporate performance and provides practical insights for managers and investors in evaluating financial performance after public offerings

Market Reaction to the Latest Appointment of The Finance Minister: Empirical Evidence Through Abnormal Return, Trading Activity and Stock Volatility on The LQ45 Index

Anansa, I Ketut Tri, Hidayati, Siti Aisyah, Rahayu, Nila
Abstract: This study examines the Indonesian capital market reaction to the announcement of the appointment of Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa as Minister of Finance on September 8, 2025. Using an event study approach, the analysis focuses on… n companies included in the LQ45 index and observes market reaction within an eleven-day event window from five trading days before to five trading days after the announcement. Market reaction is measured using abnormal return, trading volume activity, and stock volatility. The data consist of daily stock prices, trading volume, outstanding shares, and market index data obtained from capital market data sources. Because the normality test indicates that the data are not normally distributed, the hypotheses are tested using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The findings show significant differences in abnormal return, trading volume activity, and stock volatility before and after the announcement. These results indicate that the appointment of the Minister of Finance contains information value for investors and is associated with changes in price reaction, trading intensity, and perceived market risk among LQ45 stocks. The study contributes to event study literature by documenting market responses to a strategic fiscal leadership event in an emerging capital market

Determinants of The Indonesian Composite Stock Index: An Error Correction Model Approach

Febriani, Nindy, Wendy, Wendy
Abstract: This study examines the effects of the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), world gold prices, world oil prices, and the rupiah exchange rate on the Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) in Indonesia. The study uses monthly… secondary data from January 2015 to December 2025, comprising 132 observations. CSPI data were obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange, DJIA, gold price, and oil price data were obtained from Investing.com, while exchange rate data were sourced from Bank Indonesia. The analysis employed the two-step Engle-Granger Error Correction Model (EG-ECM) to identify long-run relationships and short-run adjustment dynamics. The long-run results show that gold prices, world oil prices, and the DJIA have positive and significant effects on the CSPI, whereas the rupiah exchange rate has a negative but insignificant effect. In the short run, the exchange rate has a negative and significant effect on the CSPI, while gold prices, oil prices, and the DJIA have positive and significant effects. The Error Correction Term coefficient of -0.1325 is negative and significant, indicating that approximately 13.25% of short-run disequilibrium is corrected each month toward long-run equilibrium. These findings imply that investors and policymakers should closely monitor global market conditions, commodity price movements, and exchange rate volatility to support investment decisions and maintain Indonesian capital market stability

The Effect of Inflation, Interest Rates, and Exchange Rates on Stock Returns With The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) as an Intervening Variable in Indonesia 2016–2025

Ramli, Anwar, Anwar, Indah Lestari
Abstract: This study examines the effect of inflation, interest rates (BI7DRR), and exchange rates (USD/IDR) on stock returns of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk., with the Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) as an intervening variable.… e. Using a quantitative explanatory research design, monthly secondary data spanning January 2016 to December 2025 (120 observations) were analysed using Pearson correlation and two-stage path analysis (OLS regression). Results indicate that inflation and exchange rates significantly influence IHSG, while the BI Rate does not. However, neither macroeconomic variables nor IHSG significantly affect Telkom's stock returns either directly or indirectly. The model explains only 2.7% of the variation in stock returns, suggesting that company-specific and sectoral factors dominate return determination. These findings imply that IHSG does not serve as an effective mediating channel between macroeconomic conditions and individual stock returns for Telkom. Investors in the telecommunications sector should prioritise fundamental and sectoral analysis over macroeconomic indicators when making portfolio decisions
