The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies involving newsroom managers, editors, and journalists from both media organizations. The findings indicate that Tribun Pekanbaru and Riau Pos have adopted different newsroom convergence strategies. Tribun Pekanbaru has implemented an integrated newsroom model that combines Cross Media Newsroom and Integrated Media Newsroom approaches, emphasizing digital-first production and multi-platform content distribution. Meanwhile, Riau Pos continues to maintain a separated newsroom model between print and digital divisions, reflecting a gradual adaptation process toward digital transformation. The study further reveals that these differences are influenced not only by technological factors and organizational culture but also by economic considerations. Tribun Pekanbaru develops an integrated newsroom to improve production efficiency and expand digital content monetization, while Riau Pos maintains separated newsrooms because print media remains a significant source of company revenue. This study concludes that newsroom convergence has evolved beyond a technological transformation into an economic adaptation strategy for local media organizations. The findings suggest that newsroom convergence enables media companies to improve operational efficiency, broaden audience reach, optimize resource utilization, and strengthen business sustainability in an increasingly competitive digital environment.

he low motivation and ability of students to understand news texts, especially in Indonesian learning which requires students to be able to analyze information critically and systematically. Infographic media was chosen as an alternative because it has attractive visual characteristics, is concise, and is able to present complex information in a more understandable way. The research method used was a pseudo-experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class that obtained learning using infographic media and the control class that obtained conventional learning. Data collection techniques include learning motivation questionnaires, news text comprehension tests, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity), t-test, and MANOVA test to see the effect simultaneously. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class on the aspect of learning motivation, where the experimental class had a higher average motivation score after the use of infographic media. In addition, students' understanding of news texts in the experimental class also increased significantly compared to the control class. MANOVA's analysis strengthens the finding that infographic media has a simultaneous effect on students' motivation to learn and comprehension of news texts. Thus, this study concludes that infographic media is effectively used as a learning medium in news text materials. Infographics not only increase students' motivation to learn, but also help students understand the content of the news more comprehensively. These findings recommend the use of innovative visual media in Indonesian learning to improve the quality of students' learning processes and outcomes.

udy adopts a descriptive qualitative method using Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis (AWK) as the main framework. Data is collected through documentation and recording of news texts from relevant online media. Data analysis was carried out sequentially covering Fairclough's three dimensions: microstructural analysis (word choice, sentence structure, rhetorical strategy), mesostructural analysis (the practice of production and distribution of news texts), and macrostructural analysis (social and ideological relationships that underlie discourse). The results of this study reveal the complex representation of inequality in access to education through critical discourse analysis (AWK) on the news "Former Chicken Cage Becomes School" with the Norman Fairclough approach. Microstructurally, word choice and sentence structure build a narrative of struggle and implicit criticism of the system. At the mesostructural level, local MATAMAROS.COM strategic media frame this issue as an urgent social issue, including publication during National Education Day 2025 to maximize impact. Macrostructurally, the news reflects structural inequality due to geographical/economic marginalization, reinforces the ideology of "unsung heroes," and highlights the power imbalance. hen the intensity of the student movement increased in response to various public policy issues. The main purpose of this research is to uncover the practice of digital mainstream media representation of student actions and dissect the ideological power relations between state actors and civil society groups in the realm of media discourse. The approach used is Norman Fairclough's three-dimensional model of Critical Discourse Analysis (AWK), which includes analysis at three levels: textual structure (lexical and syntactic), discourse practice (the process of production and consumption of texts), and social practice (ideological and institutional context). Five news articles from Kompas.com were analyzed in depth as the main sample. The results of the study show that online media tends to frame student actions through dictionaries that reduce the meaning of their struggle, such as "chaos," "secured," and "not conducive," while prioritizing quotes from state officials or security forces. This disarticulation plays a role in strengthening the state's authority in shaping public opinion and shows the tendency of the media as a hegemonic agent. These findings emphasize the urgency of ideological awareness-based media literacy so that people are able to criticize and not passively accept media discourse.

The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method using a literature study. The results of the study indicate variations in the framing of the OP M conflict in Papua by social media. Some media provide different views; some provide support to the TNI-Polri in the OPM eradication operation, while others provide views on the many cases of crime committed by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB), most of whose victims died. This finding indicates a difference in approach in reporting conflicts that can influence public perception in the conflict. The results of this study are the importance of awareness of the discussion and views used by the mass media in reporting on conflicts and acts of violence and the need for analysis of news received by the public in order to understand the broader context of the Eradication of the Papua Merdeka Organization by the TNI-Polri Apparatus.

Primary data consists of news articles from BatamPos.co.id and BatamNews.co.id published during the period of May-June 2024. Secondary data is derived from literature related to framing theory and previous studies. Data collection was conducted through purposive sampling, and analysis was performed by identifying main themes, categorizing the news coverage, and evaluating the impact of framing on public perception. The analysis reveals that the framing of news about Amsakar Achmad on BatamPos.co.id tends to emphasize strong political support, popularity, and Amsakar’s concrete visions and programs. In contrast, BatamNews.co.id focuses more on Amsakar’s direct interactions with the public, local community support, and political communication. Both media construct a positive image of Amsakar, albeit with different approaches. BatamPos.co.id creates the perception that Amsakar is a strong candidate with solid political backing and a clear plan for Batam’s progress, while BatamNews.co.id portrays Amsakar as a leader who is close to the people, adaptive, and collaborative. This research provides insights into how media framing can influence public perception of political candidates.
