Development Of A Web-Based Course Scheduling Information System For The Information Technology Study Program At Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat

Abstract: Course timetable preparation in the Information Technology Study Program at Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat is still performed in spreadsheets, typically requires three to five days, and can produce instructor, class, or… room conflicts. This study develops a web-based scheduling information system that centralizes timetable data, detects collisions automatically, and offers alternatives with support from the Google Gemini API. Development followed the Waterfall System Development Life Cycle, comprising requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The application was built with PHP, Laravel, and MySQL. A deterministic rule identifies overlapping allocations involving the same instructor, class, or room on the same day. Gemini is used only to rank and explain feasible candidates; the application revalidates each recommendation, and the Study Program Secretary retains final approval. Black-box testing of ten functions achieved a 100% success rate. Beta testing produced an average score of 89.22% from three experts and 89.79% from two users, with both results classified as Very Good. The findings indicate that the system is highly feasible for integrated course timetable preparation and administration.

Design And Development Of A Web-Based Examination Application Using Django Framework At SMA Negeri 7 Sarolangun

Abstract: The implementation of examinations at SMA Negeri 7 Sarolangun previously encountered operational challenges due to an unintegrated workflow, where exam authoring was conducted via Google Forms and exam delivery relied on… an Android-based third-party application paired with a custom keyboard. This workflow caused severe device incompatibility, system crashes, and manual score recapitulation delays lasting up to one week. This research aims to design and develop an integrated web-based examination application utilizing the Django framework under the Rapid Application Development (RAD) model to support Midterm (PTS) and Final (PAS) semester exams. The application features master data management, manual question authoring and bulk imports via Excel, token-protected scheduling, asynchronous AJAX auto-saving on computer-based test (CBT) sheets, live proctoring controls, auto-grading, score visibility authorization (Hide Score), and dynamic class-filtered report exports in Excel and PDF formats. System evaluation was conducted through Alpha testing (White Box and Black Box testing) and Beta testing (ISO/IEC 25010:2011 quality evaluation by system experts and End-User Computing Satisfaction/EUCS by end-users). Alpha testing verified that all 29 independent logic paths in White Box testing executed without branching errors and Black Box testing achieved 100% validity across 13 functional modules. Beta testing with 2 system experts yielded an average score of 98.25% (Very Good), and end-user testing involving 27 respondents achieved an average satisfaction score of 84.75% (Very Good). Thus, the developed system is highly feasible, reliable, and effective for school examination operations.

Abstract: The fast food industry continues to grow as the public's need for practical products, including Kamumu Kimpul chips, increases. However, small business actors such as UD. Sona in Gunungsitoli Idanoi faces obstacles in production… oduction due to the use of traditional methods, limited equipment, and lack of optimal management. This condition has an impact on delays in meeting demand, increasing production costs, and declining competitiveness. Therefore, a production optimization strategy is needed to improve product capacity, efficiency, and quality. This study aims to analyze the production optimization strategy implemented by UD. Sona, formulate a capacity building strategy, as well as identify obstacles and solutions that can be done. The results of the research are expected to be practically useful for business actors in production management, as well as make a theoretical contribution to the development of production management science in MSMEs. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data was obtained through interviews with owners, employees, and customers, supplemented by observation and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through reduction, presentation, and inductive conclusions, so as to be able to describe the real conditions of the business and develop the right optimization strategy. The results of the study show that UD. Sona has made efforts such as setting up production flows and scheduling planning. However, limited machinery, unstable supply of raw materials, and marketing that has not been maximized are still obstacles. Consumers rate the product as good quality, but its availability has not been consistent. Suggested strategies include the implementation of lean production, improvement of inventory management, and the use of production technology

Employees Perception of Work-Life Balance Implementation in a Hybrid Work Environment

Abstract: This study examines employees' perceptions of work-life balance implementation in a hybrid work environment, a model that has gained popularity in the post-COVID-19 era. Hybrid work arrangements offer flexibility by allowing… wing employees to alternate between remote and office-based work, providing opportunities to balance professional and personal responsibilities. However, the blurred boundaries between work and personal life in a hybrid setting can create challenges, such as overworking, interruptions during personal time, and social isolation. Using a qualitative approach, this study explores the experiences, challenges, and factors influencing work-life balance in hybrid work environments. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions with employees from various sectors. The findings reveal that while hybrid work promotes flexibility and autonomy, it also increases the risk of stress and burnout due to a lack of clear boundaries and insufficient organizational support. Factors such as flexible scheduling, supportive leadership, and access to user-friendly digital tools were identified as enablers of work-life balance. This research highlights the dual impact of hybrid work on work-life balance and emphasizes the need for clear organizational policies, leadership training, and technological support to ensure employee well-being. The findings provide actionable recommendations for organizations to optimize hybrid work practices.

FORMATIVE EVALUATION CIPP MODEL FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE INTEGRATED SERVICE MOBILE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND FISHERIES OF BLITAR REGENCY

Abstract: This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Integrated Service Vehicle Program organized by the Department of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries of Blitar Regency using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation… valuation model as a framework for developing improvement strategies. A descriptive qualitative approach was applied with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The main informants consisted of program officers, while additional informants were farmers selected using the snowball sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman with the assistance of NVivo software to facilitate thematic coding and data triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the Integrated Service Vehicle Program has generally achieved its objectives by providing animal health services, extension activities, and technical assistance to farmers in remote areas. However, several challenges remain, including limited resources, inconsistent scheduling, and insufficient public outreach. Based on the SWOT analysis, the recommended improvement strategies focus on enhancing coordination, strengthening staff capacity, utilizing information technology, and expanding service coverage. These findings are expected to contribute to improving the quality and effectiveness of the Integrated Service Vehicle Program under the Department of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries of Blitar Regency.

THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT SCHEDULING USING CRITICAL PATH METHOD (CPM) AND PROJECT EVALUATION AND REVIEW TECHNIQUE (PERT) IN THE HOUSE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT IN THE MALIMIMPLEMENTATION OF PROBUKAN PERMAI III HOUSING AREAS IN NORTH MINAHASA REGENCY

Abstract: Previous studies have shown that the Critical Path Method (CPM) and the Project Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) are effective in optimizing project completion time. Based on observations, the construction of a single… ingle housing unit typically requires 64 working days. This study aims to obtain an optimal scheduling result by applying CPM and PERT to the construction project of a subsidized house type-36 in Perumahan Malimbukan Permai III, North Minahasa Regency. The analysis results indicate that the project’s critical path consists of A – B – C – D – E – F – H – K – L – M – N – P – Q. Using the CPM method, the required completion time is 55 days, while the PERT method yields an estimated 55.68 days. With a deadline of 60 days, the probability of completing the project is 99.94%. This study highlights the importance of monitoring the critical path and utilizing time estimation in project planning to prevent delays and unforeseen obstacles.

Pelatihan Guru Untuk Menciptakan Lingkungan Belajar Yang Suportif Dan Menyenangkan Di Lingkungan YPKI Magelang

Abstract: Abstract: This community service (PkM) aims to provide training for teachers on how to create a supportive and fun learning environment for students in their classrooms. This PkM was carried out offline on Wednesday, 15… November 2023, at 9.00-12.00 WIB. The main participants of the training were 33 teachers, consisting of two teachers of Learning Group for toddlers (KB), six teachers of Kindergarten (TK), ten teachers of Elementary School (SD), seven teachers of Junior High School (SMP), and eight teachers of Senior High School (SMA) in Yayasan Perguruan Kristen Indonesia (YPKI) Magelang. In the presentation session, the author discussed five main principles to help the PkM participants in creating a supportive and fun learning environment, namely: 1) using technology to make learning interesting and fun; 2) taking sufficient time to guide students to practice new learning materials; 3) making rules regarding how students should communicate and act; 4) creating supportive friendship groups; and 5) scheduling teacher professional development meetings in the school to learn from each other and share knowledge. The session concluded with a discussion with the PkM participants, implying that teachers must take an active role to create a supportive environment for their students.         Keywords: learning environment; learning; teaching; technology   Abstrak: Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan untuk para guru tentang bagaimana menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang suportif dan menyenangkan untuk para siswa mereka di dalam kelas. Kegiatan PkM ini dilaksanakan secara luring pada hari Rabu, 15 November 2023, jam 09.00-12.00 WIB. Peserta utama pelatihan ini adalah 33 orang guru, yang terdiri dari dua orang guru KB, enam orang guru TK, sepuluh orang guru SD, tujuh orang guru SMP, dan delapan orang guru SMA di bawah naungan Yayasan Perguruan Kristen Indonesia (YPKI) Magelang. Di dalam sesi pemaparan materi, penulis membahas lima prinsip utama untuk membantu para peserta PkM dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang supotif dan menyenangkan tersebut. Kelima prinsip tersebut adalah: 1) menggunakan teknologi untuk membuat pembelajaran menjadi menarik dan menyenangkan; 2) meluangkan waktu yang cukup untuk membimbing siswa berlatih materi pembelajaran yang baru; 3) membuat peraturan terkait bagaimana siswa harus berkomunikasi dan bertindak; 4) membuat kelompok pertemanan yang saling mendukung; dan 5) menjadwalkan pertemuan pengembangan profesionalitas guru di sekolah untuk dapat saling belajar dan berbagi ilmu pengetahuan satu sama lainnya. Sesi diakhiri dengan diskusi dengan para peserta PkM yang menyiratkan bahwa guru harus berperan aktif dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung bagi siswa mereka.     Kata kunci: lingkungan belajar; pembelajaran; pengajaran; teknologi

Optimasi Proyek Konstruksi Melalui Pelatihan Penggunaan Microsoft Project Untuk Penyusunan Jadwal Proyek

Abstract: This program aims to enhance employees' abilities in creating more efficient and organized project schedules. This need arose due to some employees' limited knowledge and experience in utilizing Microsoft Project to produce… uce accurate and structured work schedules. The training involved four employees, comprising three participants with a background in civil engineering and one from management. The training methods included an introduction to basic project scheduling, the use of Microsoft Project, and the application of real case studies from ongoing projects. Pre-test results showed an average score of 54.25, with the management participant receiving a grade of E, while civil engineering participants received grades of C and D. After the training, the post-test indicated significant improvement, with one participant achieving a grade of A and two others obtaining a grade of B. The management participant improved to a grade of C. The final assignment, creating a project schedule using Microsoft Project, was successfully completed by all participants, demonstrating improved skills in project management and resource optimization. In conclusion, this training successfully enhanced employees' understanding and skills in using Microsoft Project for project schedule optimization at CV. KEINARRA, which has the potential to increase the company's overall efficiency. Keywords: Microsoft Project; project scheduling; training; optimization.    Abstrak: Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan karyawan dalam menyusun jadwal proyek yang lebih efisien dan terorganisir. Permintaan ini timbul karena beberapa karyawan kurang memiliki pengetahuan dan pengalaman dalam memanfaatkan Microsoft Project untuk menghasilkan jadwal kerja yang akurat dan terstruktur. Pelatihan ini melibatkan empat karyawan, terdiri dari tiga peserta dengan latar belakang teknik sipil dan satu dari manajemen. Metode pelatihan meliputi pengenalan dasar penjadwalan proyek, penggunaan Microsoft Project, serta aplikasi studi kasus nyata dari proyek yang sedang berlangsung. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan skor rata-rata sebesar 54,25, di mana peserta dari manajemen mendapatkan nilai E, sedangkan peserta dari teknik sipil mendapatkan nilai C dan D. Setelah pelatihan, post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dengan satu peserta meraih nilai A dan dua peserta lainnya mendapatkan nilai B. Peserta dari manajemen meningkat ke nilai C. Tugas akhir berupa penyusunan jadwal proyek dengan Microsoft Project berhasil diselesaikan oleh semua peserta, menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan dalam manajemen proyek dan optimalisasi sumber daya. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan karyawan dalam penggunaan Microsoft Project untuk optimasi jadwal proyek di CV. Peningkatan Kapasitas Kewirausahaan Mahasiswa Melalui Bootcamp Trilogi Got Business Founder

Abstract: The development of entrepreneurship among students has become a priority in higher education in Indonesia to address unemployment, leading Universitas Trilogi to organise the Trilogi Got Business Founder Bootcamp with the… e theme “Scaling the Future of Business: Sustainable and Responsible Innovation.” The aim of this activity is to provide in-depth understanding and practical skills in key aspects of entrepreneurship, including product development, digital marketing, and financial reporting. The bootcamp employed three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparation stage involved scheduling, selecting speakers, and arranging facilities. The implementation stage comprised lectures, discussions, exercises, and case studies delivered by competent experts in their respective fields. The evaluation stage was conducted through questionnaires to assess the success of the event and its impact on participants. The evaluation results showed that the majority of participants were satisfied with the content delivered and the relevance of the activities to their needs. The methods used were effective in enhancing participants' understanding and practical skills in entrepreneurship. Overall, this bootcamp successfully achieved its objectives and made a positive contribution to the development of entrepreneurial capacity among students at Universitas Trilogi.   Keywords: bootcamp; digital marketing; entrepreneurship; sustainable innovation; university students   Abstrak: Pengembangan kewirausahaan mahasiswa menjadi prioritas pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia untuk mengatasi pengangguran, mendorong Universitas Trilogi mengadakan Bootcamp Trilogi Got Business Founder dengan tema “Scaling the Future of Business: Sustainable and Responsible Innovation”. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman mendalam dan keterampilan praktis dalam aspek-aspek penting kewirausahaan, termasuk pengembangan produk, pemasaran digital, dan pembuatan laporan keuangan. Metode yang digunakan dalam bootcamp ini mencakup tiga tahap utama: persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Tahap persiapan melibatkan perencanaan jadwal, pemilihan narasumber, dan penyediaan fasilitas. Tahap pelaksanaan terdiri dari ceramah, diskusi, latihan, dan studi kasus yang dilakukan oleh narasumber berkompeten di bidangnya. Tahap evaluasi dilakukan melalui kuesioner untuk menilai keberhasilan kegiatan dan dampaknya terhadap peserta. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta merasa puas dengan materi yang disampaikan dan relevansi kegiatan dengan kebutuhan mereka. Metode yang digunakan efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan praktis peserta dalam kewirausahaan. IMPLEMENTATION OF A PYTHON-BASED SCHEDULED AUDIO ALARM SYSTEM FOR LIBRARY LITERACY SUPPORT

Abstract: Abstract: Libraries function not only as information centers but also as literacy spaces that require an orderly and communicative service environment. One supporting service in fostering such an environment is the delivery… ery of literacy greetings to visitors. In practice, greetings are commonly delivered manually or through conventional bells, leading to inconsistency and dependence on staff availability. This study was conducted at the Amir Machmud Library, Ministry of Home Affairs, Jakarta, Indonesia, aiming to design and evaluate a Python-based scheduled audio alarm system for automated literacy greetings. An applied experimental method was employed, including system design, Python script development, scheduling configuration using Windows Task Scheduler, and direct system testing on a library computer connected to ceiling speakers. The system requires initial execution via Command Prompt (CMD) when the computer is powered on, after which it operates automatically according to predefined schedules. Testing results demonstrate that the system performs scheduled audio playback accurately and operates stably without further manual intervention. The findings indicate that the proposed system provides a practical and efficient solution to enhance service consistency and support a structured and conducive literacy environment in the library.             Keywords: scheduled audio alarm; library automation; python; literacy greeting.     Abstrak: Perpustakaan tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pusat informasi, tetapi juga sebagai ruang literasi yang memerlukan suasana layanan yang tertib dan komunikatif. Salah satu bentuk dukungan layanan tersebut adalah penyampaian sapaan literasi kepada pengunjung. Dalam praktiknya, penyampaian sapaan masih dilakukan secara manual atau menggunakan bel konvensional sehingga kurang konsisten dan bergantung pada petugas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Perpustakaan Amir Machmud, Kementerian Dalam Negeri, Jakarta, Indonesia, dengan tujuan merancang dan menguji sistem alarm audio terjadwal berbasis Python sebagai media penyampaian sapaan literasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental terapan melalui tahapan perancangan sistem, pengembangan skrip Python, konfigurasi penjadwalan menggunakan Windows Task Scheduler, serta pengujian langsung pada komputer perpustakaan yang terhubung dengan speaker plafon. Sistem bekerja dengan mekanisme inisialisasi awal melalui Command Prompt (CMD) saat komputer dinyalakan, kemudian selanjutnya berjalan otomatis sesuai jadwal yang telah ditentukan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu memutar audio secara konsisten dan stabil pada waktu yang telah diatur tanpa intervensi lanjutan dari petugas. Dengan demikian, sistem ini dapat menjadi solusi sederhana dan efisien untuk mendukung terciptanya suasana literasi yang lebih terstruktur dan kondusif di lingkungan perpustakaan.   Kata kunci: alarm audio terjadwal; otomasi perpustakaan; python; sapaan literasi.
