Avif Mulia Rahman, Muchamad Rifqi Hamdani, Zuhri, Khoirul Mualimin, M. Misbahul Munir, M. Munir
Abstract: This study explores the model of leadership and decision-making within Eco-Pesantrens (Islamic boarding schools with an ecological focus) in Indonesia. It investigates how Islamic values (e.g., khalifah [stewardship], mizan… zan [balance], amanah [trust]) are integrated with modern environmental health principles (sustainability, conservation, waste management, ecosystem health) in the strategic and daily decisions of pesantren leaders. Using a qualitative case study approach with in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis at several pioneering Eco-Pesantrens, this research identifies key leadership paradigms, decision-making processes, and implementation strategies. Findings reveal that successful integration creates a holistic leadership model that aligns spiritual, educational, and environmental objectives. Leaders act as transformative agents, internalizing eco-Islamic theology into institutional policies, curricula, and community practices. The study concludes that the Eco-Pesantren leadership model offers a significant framework for sustainable community development rooted in local religious wisdom. It recommends further development of this paradigm for broader application in Islamic educational institutions and communities facing environmental challenges.

Perlindungan Hukum Para Pihak dalam Perjanjian Elektronik Menurut Hukum Perdata Indonesia

Nawaskoro, Hardito, Luthfiyyah Amalina Husna
Abstract: Advances in information and communication technology have spurred substantial changes in legal transaction procedures in Indonesia, primarily through the utilization of electronic agreements. Agreements that were previously… sly made in traditional paper formats are now frequently conducted digitally, raising legal concerns regarding their legality, validity, evidence, and legal protection for the involved parties, particularly consumers. Although electronic agreements are normatively recognized in the Civil Code (KUHP) and the Law on Electronic Information and Transactions, practical implementation issues persist, leading to legal uncertainty. This research employs a normative legal methodology utilizing statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches. Data was obtained through a literature review of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal sources related to electronic agreements and civil legal protection. Qualitative descriptive analysis was conducted to investigate the legal status of electronic agreements and the legal protection available for the parties within the Indonesian legal framework. The discussion results indicate that electronic agreements possess legal validity and binding force equivalent to traditional agreements, provided they meet the criteria for a valid agreement as outlined in Article 1320 of the Civil Code and the provisions of the Information Technology Law. Legal protection in electronic agreements encompasses legal certainty, the recognition of electronic document and signature evidence, and consumer protection against detrimental standard clauses. Nevertheless, challenges remain in establishing party identification, ensuring the integrity of digital contracts, and addressing power imbalances between commercial entities and consumers. This study concludes that while electronic agreements are legally recognized under Indonesian civil law, enhancing legal protection requires strengthened regulations, consistent law enforcement, and improved legal and digital literacy among the public to ensure secure, fair, and equitable electronic transactions.

Educational institutions should take proactive steps to manage student workloads and provide mental health support services, such as counseling, time management training, and flexible deadlines. Promoting a balanced approach to academic assessment that prioritizes both academic excellence and student well-being is crucial for fostering the success and well-being of English language students. This research limited due to the small sample size and focus on a specific student population. Implementing practical strategies to manage workloads and provide mental health support can promote a more holistic and student-centered educational environment.

Women Victims of Domestic Violence as a Gender-Based Crime

Abdullah, Muhammad, Hanafi, Hanafi, Khalid, Afif, Wardiansyah, Gusti
Abstract: This study aims to find out why women are the dominant victims of domestic violence. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, with a literature study. The result of this study is that the relationship between… men and women is still unequal, which still considers men to be more than women in all respects so that the wife/woman is only in charge of household matters. The wife's economic dependence on her husband is also one of the triggers for the violence. So that the husband commits violence with the intention that the wife no longer refuses the husband's will, as well as to show masculinity. This oppression is also caused by a subordinate view that is supported by socio-political dynamics rooted in a hierarchical, submissive level and legitimizes violence as a control mechanism. The conclusion of this study is that domestic violence is part of gender-based violence because violence was born as a result of an imbalance in the pattern of power relations between men and women which was then justified by both state law and religious beliefs as a result of interpretation gender-biased religious texts. Building a pattern of relations that is egalitarian and fair and away from the practice of violence in the context of family life is part of both humanitarian and religious duties.

Riza Amalia
Abstract: This research discusses the relationship between Human Rights (HAM) and the implementation of public policies related to narcotics. In a global context, narcotics policies are often a source of controversy due to their impact… mpact on individual rights. This research evaluates how narcotics policies can affect basic rights such as the rights to life, liberty, health and justice. In some cases, harsh legal crackdowns on narcotics have led to human rights violations, such as arbitrary arrest and detention, as well as the use of force by security forces. On the other hand, some countries have tried alternative approaches, including decriminalization or legalization of narcotics, with the aim of reducing the negative impact on individuals. This research uses a normative approach. The conclusion from this research is that it is important to maintain a balance between efforts to prevent and handle narcotics with protecting individual human rights. Effective implementation of narcotics policies must take into account the basic rights of individuals and seek to reduce negative social impacts. This research underlines the need for a holistic and sustainable approach in dealing with narcotics issues without compromising human rights
