Abstract:Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a progressive chronic respiratory disease that has become a global health concern due to its high morbidity and mortality rates and its impact on patients’ quality of life.…
e. In acute exacerbation conditions, impaired oxygenation becomes a major problem that may be influenced by various factors, including hemoglobin levels as the primary component of oxygen transport in the blood. However, the relationship between hemoglobin levels and oxygen saturation in patients with acute exacerbation COPD remains inconsistent, particularly in populations exposed to high environmental risk factors. This study aimed to determine the relationship between hemoglobin levels and oxygen saturation in patients with acute exacerbation COPD hospitalized at RSUD dr. Suhatman MARS Dumai, Kota Dumai. This research employed an analytic observational design with a cross-sectional approach involving 73 patients selected through total sampling based on medical record data. Bivariate analysis using the Spearman correlation test showed no significant relationship between hemoglobin levels and oxygen saturation (r = 0.098; p = 0.412), indicating a very weak and statistically insignificant correlation. The study concluded that hemoglobin levels do not directly influence the oxygenation status of patients with acute exacerbation COPD, where impaired oxygenation is more strongly affected by respiratory factors such as ventilation-perfusion imbalance and structural lung damage. The novelty of this study lies in its empirical evidence demonstrating the limited role of hemoglobin as a predictor of oxygenation in patients with acute exacerbation COPD within a population with specific environmental characteristics, thereby providing a basis for developing more comprehensive clinical approaches in monitoring and managing COPD patients.

parents. This condition poses risks to physical health, emotional well-being, and overall infant development. This study aims to analyze the effect of baby massage on sleep quality among infants aged 3-6 months at Babycare Bondowoso and to identify differences in sleep quality before and after the intervention. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design involving 40 infants selected through total sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and observation sheets, then analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that prior to the intervention, 87.5% of infants experienced poor sleep quality, whereas after the intervention, all infants (100%) demonstrated improvement to good sleep quality. Statistical analysis indicated a p-value of 0.00, which is lower than 0.05, confirming a significant effect of baby massage on infant sleep quality. These findings demonstrate that baby massage effectively improves sleep duration, comfort, and stability through physiological relaxation mechanisms. The novelty of this study lies in providing empirical evidence of the effectiveness of baby massage as a non-pharmacological intervention that is simple, safe, and can be independently applied by parents while offering holistic benefits for infants. The findings are expected to serve as a basis for developing health education and improving infant care practices.

Statistical analysis indicated a significant relationship between husband’s support and the decision to use three-month injectable contraception with a significance value of p < 0.05, meaning the research hypothesis was accepted. These findings confirm that husband’s support is an important factor influencing women’s decisions in selecting contraceptive methods. The novelty of this study lies in emphasizing the role of husband’s support as a social determinant contributing to the successful use of three-month injectable contraception at the level of independent midwifery practice services. The results are expected to provide a foundation for strengthening family-based family planning education strategies.
Abstract:Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that remains a serious challenge to child health because it is associated with impaired physical growth, cognitive development, and the quality of human resources in the future.…
This condition is influenced by inadequate nutritional intake, particularly during the first 1,000 days of life, which plays a critical role in determining the quality of child growth. Exclusive breastfeeding is considered an important factor that contributes to meeting nutritional needs and strengthening the immune system of children. The research problem focuses on the relationship between breastfeeding practices and the degree of stunting among children aged 1-5 years in the working area of Sempol Community Health Center, Bondowoso Regency, in 2025. The study employed a quantitative approach using an analytic survey design with a population consisting of all stunted toddlers in the area. A sample of 75 respondents was selected using a proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and observation sheets that assessed breastfeeding practices and the level of stunting based on the height-for-age (HFA) indicator. The results show that 72% of children received exclusive breastfeeding, while the remainder received partial breastfeeding or were not exclusively breastfed. The distribution of stunting severity indicates that 57.3% of children experienced mild stunting, 34.7% moderate stunting, and 8% severe stunting. The Chi-Square statistical test produced a p-value of 0.003 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant relationship between breastfeeding practices and the degree of stunting. These findings demonstrate that the nutritional quality and antibodies contained in breast milk play an important role in supporting optimal child height growth. The novelty of this study lies in its analysis of the relationship between breastfeeding practices and the severity of stunting within the specific context of a local community health center area that has rarely been examined in detail. The findings emphasize the importance of health education for mothers and strong family support to strengthen exclusive breastfeeding practices as a strategic effort to prevent stunting.

Abstract:Indonesian Migrant Workers constitute a labor group that makes a significant contribution to the national economy through remittances, particularly from regions with high migration intensity such as East Nusa Tenggara Province;…
ovince; however, the strong public interest in working abroad is often not accompanied by adequate understanding of safe migration procedures, protection mechanisms, and the rights and obligations of migrant workers. This condition has led to serious problems, including the increasing number of non-procedural migrant workers, deportation cases, and vulnerability to human trafficking crimes, indicating an information and communication gap between migrant worker protection institutions and prospective migrant workers. This study aims to analyze the communication strategies implemented by the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Service Center of East Nusa Tenggara Province in enhancing public awareness of migrant workers’ rights. A qualitative approach with a descriptive method was employed to provide an in-depth portrayal of the communication practices carried out by the institution, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation of socialization activities, and documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, while the conceptual analytical framework was based on the Shannon–Weaver Two-Way Communication Model to assess message delivery effectiveness, communication channels, message recipients, and feedback mechanisms. The findings indicate that the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Service Center of East Nusa Tenggara Province has implemented various communication strategies, including direct community outreach, pre-departure orientation, the use of visual and audio media, and cross-sector collaboration with local governments and community leaders. Although these strategies contribute to increasing public knowledge regarding migration procedures and migrant workers’ rights, their effectiveness remains constrained by low literacy levels, challenging geographical conditions, and weak feedback mechanisms from target communities. The study concludes that strengthening dialogic and participatory communication, simplifying messages to improve comprehensibility, and adapting communication media to local cultural contexts are essential for improving migrant worker protection. The novelty of this study lies in integrating a two-way communication model with the socio-cultural context of East Nusa Tenggara as a basis for formulating more contextual, adaptive, and community-empowering communication strategies for migrant worker protection.

g logistics costs and increasing demands for delivery timeliness. The research problem focuses on the extent to which shipping cost efficiency and the quality of freight forwarder services can improve export delivery performance in a measurable and sustainable manner. A quantitative approach was applied by collecting survey data from the company’s logistics managers and export managers to capture perceptions and experiences related to the research variables. Data analysis was conducted using structural equation modeling to examine the causal relationships among shipping cost efficiency, freight forwarder quality, and export delivery performance. The results indicate that shipping cost efficiency has a positive and significant effect on export delivery performance through reduced operational costs, improved logistics coordination, and smoother export processes. Freight forwarder quality is also proven to have a positive and significant effect through enhanced service reliability, documentation accuracy, and delivery timeliness. The conclusion confirms that the combination of cost efficiency and logistics service quality constitutes a strategic factor determining the success of corporate export delivery. The novelty of this study lies in integrating the measurement of cost efficiency and freight forwarder quality using a SEM approach applied to the Indonesian palm oil export industry, a context that has received limited empirical attention. This contribution provides empirical evidence for the development of export logistics management and strategic decision-making, enriches the academic logistics literature, and offers practical implications for improving national export competitiveness, formulating corporate policies, and managing long-term logistics partnerships based on measurable performance and efficiency orientation. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for future research and professional practice in agribusiness sectors oriented toward global markets with high logistics risks and intense competition that demand continuous, data-driven managerial innovation grounded in reliable and context-specific empirical evidence for the future of national industries.
Abstract:This study aims to empirically analyze the effect of exchange rates and interest rates on the stock prices of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020-2024 period. The research employs a quantitative…
uantitative approach with a causal-associative design and utilizes secondary data obtained from official publications of Bank Indonesia (BI) and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The research population consists of 45 banking companies, from which 20 companies meeting the sampling criteria were selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted comprehensively through descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing with the assistance of SPSS software. The findings reveal that, partially, exchange rates have a significant negative effect on stock prices, and interest rates also exert a significant negative effect. Furthermore, simultaneous testing confirms that both independent variables significantly and negatively influence banking stock prices. These results highlight that macroeconomic volatility, particularly exchange rate fluctuations and interest rate movements, are crucial determinants to be considered in capital market analysis. Academically, this study contributes to the literature on the relationship between macroeconomic indicators and stock price dynamics, while practically, the results may serve as a reference for investors in making investment decisions, for policymakers in formulating economic stabilization strategies, and for banking institutions in anticipating market risks arising from both global and domestic economic uncertainty.
