SISTEM INFORMASI MENINGKATKAN EFISIENSI PENANGANAN KELUHAN DI PERUMDA AIR MINUM TIRTA SILAUPIASA

Abstract: Abstract: This research aims to design and develop a web-based information system to improve efficiency and transparency in handling complaints at PERUMDA Air Minum Tirta Silaupiasa. Poor management of customer complaints… s will hamper the handling process, provide workload, and reduce the company's image due to the lack of transparency of the information provided. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach through observation and interviews. The results showed that the designed system was able to reduce complaint resolution time, provide clear responses to customers, and provide structured reports to the company. This research confirms that the implementation of a web-based information system not only improves the quality of service to customers, but also improves the company's operational efficiency.             Keywords: customer; efficiency; information system; PDAM; web-based reporting   Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem informasi berbasis website guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan transparansi dalam penanganan keluhan di PERUMDA Air Minum Tirta Silaupiasa. Pengelolaan pengaduan pelanggan yang kurang baik akan menghambat proses penanganan, memberikan beban kerja, hingga menurunnya citra perusahaan akibat tidak transparanya informasi yang diberikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dirancang mampu mengurangi waktu penyelesaian keluhan, memberikan respon yang jelas kepada pelanggan, serta memberikan laporan yang terstruktur kepada pihak perusahaan. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan sistem informasi berbasis website tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas layanan kepada pelanggan, namun memperbaiki efisiensi operasional perusahaan. Optimalisasi E-Learning Melalui Implementasi Microservice Untuk Peningkatan Skalabilitas Dan Efisiensi Pembelajaran Online

Abstract: The increased use of technology in education has encouraged the development of e-learning platforms that can provide effective and affordable learning experiences. However, the scalability and viability of e-learning platforms… tforms is often a challenge in the face of an increasing number of users and workloads. In this dedication, we propose the use of mi-croservice architecture in e-learning platforms to optimize scalability and maintain platform viability. We design and implement a microservice-based e-learning platform consisting of independent microservices, such as user management, course management, content management, and grading systems. We implement standardized API mechanisms for interactions between these microservices. We also vertically increase CPU capacity on each microservice instance to address increased workloads. We also observed that the use of microservices architecture makes it easy to maintain, develop, and integrate new features into the platform. In this overall dedication, we show that the implementation of microservices on e-learning platforms is able to provide optimal scalability and maintain the continuity of the platform in the face of increasing user needs Keywords: e-learning; microservice; skalabilitas; kinerja; monolitik    Abstract: Peningkatan penggunaan teknologi dalam pendidikan telah mendorong perkembangan platform e-learning yang dapat memberikan pengalaman pembelajaran yang efektif dan terjangkau. Namun, skalabilitas dan kelangsungan platform e-learning sering menjadi tantangan dalam menghadapi peningkatan jumlah pengguna dan beban kerja. SMK Swasta As-Syifa Kisaran menggunakan platform E-learning berbasis monolitik yang menyebabkan semakin banyak aktivitas platform digunakan semakin berat. Beberapa tahapan dilakukan dimulai dengan identifikasi masalah, perencanaan dan desain program, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan analisis, serta penyusunan dan publikasi laporan. Arsitektur monolitik sebelumnya yang diterapkan perlu diperbaharui dengan arsitektur microservice bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan skalabilitas dan menjaga kelangsungan platform E-Learning. Permasalahan pada penggunaan traffic yang tinggi dan berfokus pada satu server semakin lama semakin membebani server. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut maka layanan dipecah menjadi beberapa layanan webservice menggunakan arsitektur microservice yang terdiri dari layanan-microservice independen, seperti manajemen pengguna, kursus, konten, dan sistem penilaian. Peningkatan kapasitas CPU secara vertikal diperlukan sehingga microservice dapat mengatasi peningkatan beban kerja server. Hasil implementasi microservice yang diterapkan pada platform e-learning SMK As-Syifa mampu memberikan skalabilitas yang optimal untuk kelangsungan platform dalam menghadapi peningkatan kebutuhan pengguna            Kata kunci: e-learning; microservice; scalability; performance; monolitik

THE USE OF IOT IN WATER UTILIZATION STRATEGIES FOR SMART IRRIGATION SYSTEMS BASED ON MACHINE LEARNING

Abstract: Abstract: Water irrigation is a crucial aspect of agriculture that often becomes the primary concern for farmers, especially because suboptimal management can lead to decreased crop yields and reduced income. So far, farmers… mers have been practicing irrigation manually, where plants are watered twice a day, in the morning and evening, based on weather conditions without considering soil temperature or moisture levels. Based on the observations conducted, it was found that excessive water application increases water accumulation, resulting in nutrient loss from the soil and even root diseases. The objective of this study is to develop a system utilizing an ESP32 microcontroller and sensors to detect soil moisture, with a machine learning-based K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) model, enabling farmers to remotely monitor and control their crops using an Android device. The testing results showed that with input data of 32°C temperature, 40% soil moisture, and 60% air humidity, the system produced a nearest distance of 0.000 and 0.541 from the closest k-nearest neighbors, with a status label of "needs water." As a result, the relay activates the water pump to irrigate the field. Meanwhile, for data with a nearest distance of 0.897, the system identified the status as "does not need water," indicating that the soil remains wet or moist. This study is expected to help reduce farmers' workloads by optimizing water usage according to plant needs and improving crop quality and yield.         Keywords: k-nearest neighbor (KNN); mikrokontroller ESP32; machine learning; water irrigation   Abstrak: Irigasi air merupakan aspek penting dalam pertanian yang menjadi perhatian utama petani, terutama karena pengelolaan yang kurang optimal berdampak pada penurunan hasil panen dan pendapatan. Selama ini, praktik irigasi oleh petani dilakukan secara manual, di mana penyiraman tanaman dilakukan dua kali sehari pada pagi dan sore berdasarkan kondisi cuaca tanpa memperhatikan suhu atau kelembaban tanah. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan, ditemukan masalah yaitu pemberian air secara berlebih menyebabkan akumulasi air meningkat mengakibatkan kehilangan nutrisi tanah dan bahkan penyakit akar. Tujuan penelitian ini menciptakan sistem yang dirancang menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32 dan sensor untuk mendeteksi kelembaban tanah, dengan model K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) berbasis machine learning sehingga memudahkan petani untuk mengontrol tanaman mereka dari jarak jauh menggunakan android. Hasil pengujian yang dilakukan dengan data inputan berupa suhu 32°C, kelembaban tanah 40% dan kelembaban udara 60%, sistem menghasilkan jarak terdekat sebesar 0.000 dan 0.541 dari k-nearest terdekat dengan label status "butuh air". Maka relay akan mengaktifkan pompa air untuk mengairi lahan. Kemudian, pada data dengan jarak terdekat 0.897, sistem mengidentifikasi status "tidak butuh air", menunjukkan bahwa kondisi tanah masih basah atau lembab. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu meringankan beban kerja petani mengoptimalkan penggunaan air sesuai dengan kebutuhan tanaman dan meningkatkan kualitas hasil panen. Elevating Guest Experience: Enhancing Order Taker Services At The Sunan Hotel

Abstract: The study aims to gain a better understanding of the role of Order Taker in improving the quality of Housekeeping services at the The Sunan Hotel. In addition, the study also tries to identify problems faced by staff and… ways to address them. The research was designed using a descriptive qualitative approach. The theory used is the quality of service. The data obtained was collected through interviews, observations, and literary studies. The result of this research is that Order Taker helps improve the quality of Housekeeping services by receiving and processing guest requests in a timely and efficient manner. Handle guest complaints in a friendly and professional manner. Give me a polite and friendly service. Create a positive relationship with the guests. Using technology to be more efficient. Maintain the comfort and hygiene of the guest room. The obstacles faced are the Order Taker facing many challenges, including high work pressure, lack of technological support, incompatibility with Housekeeping staff, and lack of training and motivation. As for the strategy used to tackle this problem is to keep up with trends using technology, manage workloads, and improve communication. Team coordination, training, and incentives.

Recognition of Mental Illness As A Consequence of Medical Workers In The Procedure For Claiming Work Accident Insurance In Indonesia

Abstract: Medical personnel are a group of workers who are at high risk of experiencing work accidents and occupational diseases. One type of occupational disease that is often experienced by medical personnel is mental illness. Mental… ental illnesses experienced by medical workers can have a negative impact on their quality of life, performance and productivity. Therefore, medical personnel who suffer from mental illness have the right to receive protection and guarantees from the government and employers. However, in practice, medical personnel who suffer from mental illness often experience difficulties in submitting claims. The research entitled "Recognition of Mental Illness as a Consequence of Medical Personnel in Work Accident Insurance Claim Procedures in Indonesia" is normative-qualitative research. Medical workers face a lot of stress and workload, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, and mental illness is one of the consequences. Mental illness can impair their performance, health, and well-being, and place them at risk to patients and their work environment. With the recognition of mental illness as a consequence of medical personnel in the JKK claim procedure in Indonesia, JKK is a social security program organized by BPJS Employment. This program provides guarantees to workers or laborers to receive health services and cash compensation due to work accidents or work-related illnesses. So it is hoped that it can provide benefits for medical personnel in the form of getting proper protection, increasing the productivity of medical personnel and improving the quality of health services.

Regression analysis techniques are used to evaluate the impact of various factors on work stress. In addition, demographic characteristics such as age, education, and employment status also play an important role in determining stress levels. This study recommends the need for management policies that focus on reducing workload, improving work environment conditions, and providing employee welfare programs to reduce stress and improve employee welfare. These findings provide valuable insights for manufacturing companies in their efforts to create a healthier and more productive work environment.

The Correlation Of Excessive Assignment Between Student’s Mental Health

Abstract: This research investigated the correlation of excessive assignments on the mental health of fifth-year English language students at State Islamic Religious Institution in Central Kalimantan. The research hypothesized a strong&#8230; trong positive correlation between perceived assignment load and mental health problems. The method of this research used quantitative approach using a questionnaire. The Data was collected from 20 participants. The researchers, analyzed the data using pearson's correlation coefficient JASP to examine the relationship between excessive assignment and mental health condition. Based on the findings, the result showed a significant positive correlation (r = 0.900, p <.001) between excessive assignment and mental health condition, indicating that 81.0% of the variance in students' mental health could be attributed to their perceived workload. Educational institutions should take proactive steps to manage student workloads and provide mental health support services, such as counseling, time management training, and flexible deadlines. Promoting a balanced approach to academic assessment that prioritizes both academic excellence and student well-being is crucial for fostering the success and well-being of English language students. This research limited due to the small sample size and focus on a specific student population. Future research with larger and more diverse samples is needed to further explore the complex relationship between academic demands and student mental health. The findings highlight the urgent need for universities and educators to prioritize student mental health alongside academic achievement. Implementing practical strategies to manage workloads and provide mental health support can promote a more holistic and student-centered educational environment.

The Influence of Job Satisfaction and Workload on Employee Performance at PT Citra Riau Sarana

Abstract: This research was conducted to determine the effect of job satisfaction and workload on the performance of employees of PT. Citra Riau Sarana. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a quantitative&#8230; approach. The object of this research is all employees of PT. Citra Riau Sarana. The research location was conducted at PT. Citra Riau Sarana. The population in this study are employees of PT. Citra Riau Sarana. The samples taken in this study were 47 respondents. The sampling technique in this study was the census method technique with data analysis using the SPSS version 20 program using validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression, partial test (t test), simultaneous test (F test), coefficient of determination (R2). Multiple regression analysis was used to test the research hypothesis. The results of the study state that the variable workload and job satisfaction have a significant effect partially and simultaneously on employee performance. And it can be concluded that the most dominant workload variable affects employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.771. This means that the variables of job satisfaction and workload simultaneously affect the employee performance variable by 77.1%.

Sumber Bumi Sawit Jadi Jaya is a factory that processes fresh oil palm fruit bunches into CPO and palm kernel. The processing capacity at PT. Sumber Bumi Sawit Jadi Jaya is 30 Tons of FFB / Hour The organizational structure at PT. Sumber Bumi Sawit Jadi Jaya is a functional organizational structure. The results of processing the percentage of cardiovascular load obtained that all boiler workers needed repairs, and the workload category of the four workers was influenced by age factors
