Then used to provide speaking practice but can also develop listening. we can use conversation to introduce and practice a function, structure, or vocabulary, and to illustrate degrees of politeness, levels of formality, and values and attitudes of the target culture. We can also work with students to analyze written dialogues for any of these materials. conversations are useful for listening to and practicing pronunciation, intonation, and other phonological. result this training is also expected to provide motivation to learners in terms of active learning, innovative and creative.

Abstrak: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh (1) penggunaan role playing atau bermain peran untuk meningkatan percakapan siswa XI-5 SMP Negeri 7 Tanjung Balai; (2) bentuk dari kegiatan pembelajaran untuk berkomunikasi dalam percakapan sehari – hari dengan menggunakan media interaktif; (3) sistem pembelajaran percakapan dalam dialog dengan menggunakan bermain peran; dan (4) peningkatan keterampilan siswa untuk berlatih bahasa inggris dengan menggunakan media interaktif seperti video, gambar dari CD untuk berkomunikasi dalam percakapan dan kemudian siswa mencoba untuk berlatih bahasa inggris dan menggunakan ekspresi di kelas dengan topik sederhana. Kemudian digunakan untuk memberikan latihan berbicara tetapi juga dapat mengembangkan dalam sesi mendengarkan. Kita dapat menggunakan percakapan untuk memperkenalkan dan fungsi mempraktikkan, struktur, atau kosa kata, dan untuk menggambarkan tingkat kesopanan , tingkat formalitas, dan nilai – nilai pencapaian sikap dan budaya. Kita juga dapat bekerja dengan siswa untuk menganalisis dialog tertulis untuk semua materi ini. percakapan berguna untuk mendengarkan dan mempraktikkan pengucapan, intonasi, dan phonologi. Hasil pelatihan ini juga diharapkan dapat memberikan motivasi kepada peserta didik dalam hal pembelajaran aktif, inovatif dan kratif.

integrating technology into modern learning systems but also raises fundamental questions about how these applications are designed and how far they impact learners’ experiences and learning outcomes. This article presents a systematic review of scholarly studies discussing the use of mobile applications in Islamic studies education. The review focuses on two key aspects: the design principles employed in application development and the learning outcomes achieved following their use. The review involved selecting literature from the past six years using specific inclusion criteria, including content relevance, source credibility, and its connection to mobile learning practices in Islamic education. Analysis reveals that designs considering cultural appropriateness, user interface interactivity, and integration of Islamic values positively influence students' emotional engagement, motivation, and content comprehension. Learning outcomes also extend into affective and spiritual domains, not merely cognitive. These findings serve as an initial foundation for developers and educators to build an adaptive, meaningful, and value-based Islamic mobile learning ecosystem.

Through content analysis qualitative study, the study attains the targeted exploration. 5 experienced English teachers are selected to conduct semi-structured interviews. The data were analyzed and reviewed by the researchers and experts for affording the valid results. The results provide valuable insights towards the issues that are raised. This study sheds a light on the essence of digital environment in ELT which assists the feasible various sources of learning to be attained. Findings revealed that Connectivism can definitely foster learners’ language skills, such as speaking, listening, and pronunciation through the various digital platforms that are provided. Interestingly, connectivism is advantageous for strengthening learners' 21st century skills, namely critical thinking, collaboration, communication skills, and creativity in learning English. On the other hand, the challenges encountered by teachers in integrating connectivism are 1) inadequate facilities and infrastructure, 2) lack of training and development in educator resources, and 3) low internet network access or the bandwidth.

e authentic assessment offers various advantages that should not be taken for granted. This study aimed at investigating, 1) the assessment practice in the classroom, 2) the effectiveness of authentic assessment practice for assessing writing skill, and 3) the challenges of the practice. This study was a descriptive case study. The population of the study encompassed 31 learners in grade-5 elementary school. The instruments used for collecting the data were field notes yielded from classroom observation, transcript interview, and related documents. The result of the study performed that (1) the teacher employs several types of assessment, yet authentic assessment is the most preferrable in the practice, (2) the authentic assessment practice in the classroom is effectively depicting learners’ actual competence, comprising real-world relevance, and encouraging evaluation, and (3) the teacher encounters the challenging experience in designing acceptable assessment for learners with diverse level of English competence and the sufficient time, as well. In summary, this study has torched a light on the practice of authentic assessment in originally realizing the function of assessment. The different school setting, teaching experiences, learners’ language proficiency skills, and classroom environment might bring about a distinct result.

Learn." A hermeneutic-phenomenological study was conducted with five students in grades 4-5. Data were generated through in-depth conversations and participant observations during a four-week classroom mindfulness program and analyzed through phenomenological reduction and thematic synthesis. The research findings indicate that the unchanging essence, namely "a shift from an anxious mind to a calm mind that opens up space for learning," is expressed through four interrelated themes: perceived emotional calm, sustained attention, easier recall, and positive appreciation of quiet moments. The study concludes that mindfulness is not simply a technique, but a pedagogical way of life that begins with learning; integrating brief, mindful pauses can foster reflective, calm, and independent learners aligned with the Pancasila Student Profile.

ifficulties in using songs and how songs should be implemented in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classroom. A number of previous studies from 2008 to 2015 investigating the use of songs in teaching English have been analysed. Most of the studies used in this research are empirical studies. It is found that the benefits of songs to teach English can be classified into four categories: (1) affective; (2) cognitive; (3) linguistic; and (4) culture. This review presents a better understanding on the benefits and difficulties of using songs to teach English to young learners. It can be argued that teaching English songs to young learners is prominent. At the end, the author outlines several recommendations regarding on how to overcome the difficulties in teaching songs so the use of songs in teaching can be maximised.

The results of this study show that some curriculum approaches commonly used in English teaching in Indonesia include content-based approaches, communicative approaches, task-based approaches, and grammar-based approaches. The selection of this curriculum approach is based on the goals and objectives of the program, as well as the needs and interests of learners. In conclusion, in Indonesia, English teaching is influenced by various curriculum approaches, which shape the methods and strategies applied in language classes. The choice of curriculum approach in English language teaching depends on the goals and objectives of the program, as well as the needs and interests of learners. Different approaches can be used in combination to create a comprehensive and effective language learning experience so that language learners can easily master the language in a formal setting.
