DATA EXPLORATION OF MARINE CULTIVATION TYPES USING CLUSTER ANALYSIS WITH COMPLETE-LINKAGE METHOD

Abstract: Abstract: that the number of catches obtained by fishermen is more optimal. With secondary data based on the type of cultivation developed by fishing communities, the authors intend to explore this data so that they can… examine more deeply the most effective types of cultivation using analysis of variance to find out the differences between each type of cultivation and cluster analysis using the complete linkage method. to find out the grouping of marine culture production based on the types developed by fishing communities in Indonesia. The correlation between the observed variables is 0.008, so it can be said that there is no relationship between the observed variables. In addition, the sig. and t-test. sig value is obtained. > α (5% = 0.05). This means that there is a significant average difference in fish production results based on the type of cultivation developed by fishing communities. With the grouping of types of marine cultivation developed by the Wesleyan community using the complete-linkage method, they are divided into 3 groups based on the degree of similarity in the production results obtained. Cluster 1 consists of Floating Nets, and Pools; Cluster 2 consists of other seas, seaweed, cages, and fishing nets; and Cluster 3 consists of Fresh Floating Nets, Minapadi, and Ponds.             Keywords: Complete-Linkage; Fish Production; Mariculture; Multivariate Analysis; T-test;     Abstrak: Berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya pada analisis variansi untuk menguji perbedaan rata-rata pada masing-masing perlauan peletakan sudut jarring agar jumlah tangkapan yang diperoleh nelayan lebih optimal. Dengan adanya data sekunder berdasarkan jenis budidaya yang dikembangkan masyarakat nelayan, penulis bermasksud untuk melakukan eksplorasi pada data tersebut agar dapat mengkaji lebih dalam terhadap jenis budidaya yang paling efektif dengan analisis variansi untuk mengetahu perbedaan dari masing-masing jenis budidaya serta analisis cluster dengan metode complate linkage untuk mengetahui adanya pengelompokan hasil produksi bududaya laut berdasarkan jenis yang dikembangkan oleh masyarakat nelayan di Indonesia. Korelasi antar variabel yang diamati sebesar 0.008, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara variabel yang diamati. Selain itu, hasil uji sig. dan uji t. diperoleh nilai sig. > α (5% = 0.05). Artinya, terdapat perbedaan rata-rata secara signifikan hasil produksi ikan berdasarkan jenis budidaya yang dikembangkan oleh masyarakat nelayan. Dengan adanya pengelompokan jenis budidaya laut yang dikembangkan oleh masyarakat neleyan dengan metode complete-linkage terbagi atas 3 kelompok berdasarkan tingkat kemiripan hasil produksi yang diperoleh. Differences in Growth and Yield Responses of Several Cayenne Pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) Varieties in Cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) Interrows

Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the response of several cayenne pepper varieties (Capsicum frutescens L.) on the growth and yield of cayenne pepper cultivated in the cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) alley cropping system. The research… arch was conducted from April to July 2025 at Mon Jambe Village, Jeumpa District, and the Kopbun Suka Tani Sejahtera Business Research Center, Kota Juang District, Bireuen Regency. The experiment employed a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with four varieties as treatments and three replications, resulting in 12 experimental units. The tested varieties were Rajo, Genie, Bara, and Tetra Hijau. Data were collected through observations of plant height, number of leaves, number of fruits, fruit weight, and fresh biomass weight, and were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) to determine differences among treatments. The results showed that the varietal factor had a highly significant effect on leaf number and a significant effect on fruit number and fruit weight. The Bara variety exhibited the most adaptive and productive performance under the cocoa alley cropping system, as indicated by superior vegetative growth and yield compared to other varieties. The novelty of this study lies in emphasizing that varietal selection is a key factor in optimizing the utilization of cocoa alley spaces for cayenne pepper cultivation. These findings are expected to provide a scientific basis for developing cayenne pepper cultivation technologies in cocoa alley systems and to serve as a reference for further research on adaptive variety development under such environmental conditions.

The Effect of Gadget Use on Social Interaction Among Preschool Children in XYZ Sub-District, Surabaya

Abstract: This research examines the impact of gadget use on early childhood social interaction within the urban setting of XYZ Village, Surabaya, amid the growing prevalence of digital exposure among young children. Anchored in Vygotsky’s&#8230; ygotsky’s Sociocultural Theory and the Socialisation Theory, the study evaluates how the duration and frequency of gadget use influence key social competencies, including verbal communication, cooperative behavior, and empathy in children aged 3 to 6 years. Employing a quantitative, cross-sectional design, the study collected data from 100 children using parent-administered questionnaires and direct observational methods, followed by analysis through multiple linear regression. The findings demonstrate that both the duration and frequency of gadget use exert a statistically significant influence on children’s social interaction (p < 0.05), accounting for 19% of the variance (R² = 0.190). The remaining variation is likely influenced by external variables such as parenting styles, digital content quality, and psychological factors. These outcomes underscore the importance of regulated gadget use, active parental involvement, and integrative educational practices that promote both digital literacy and interpersonal development.

Linking Employee Training And Development To Enhanced Customer Satisfaction In Hotels

Abstract: This study aims to examine the relationship between employee training and development programs and customer satisfaction levels within the hospitality sector, with a particular focus on MaxOne Hotels in Makassar. Employing&#8230; ng a mixed-methods approach, the research integrates employee surveys, customer feedback, and performance metric analysis to assess the influence of training programs on service quality and customer experiences. The findings reveal that employee training and development variables account for only 1.4% of the variance in customer satisfaction, with the remaining 98.6% influenced by other factors. Nevertheless, well-structured training program designs were shown to significantly enhance employees' critical thinking, communication, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, technology-based training demonstrates substantial potential for improving service efficiency and facilitating adaptation to operational innovations. In conclusion, while the direct impact of training on customer satisfaction is relatively minor, thoughtfully designed training programs remain essential for delivering high-quality customer experiences and sustaining competitiveness in the industry. This research offers valuable insights into strategies for optimizing training effectiveness in the hospitality sector.   

THE EFFECT OF COMPENSATION AND WORK MOTIVATION ON THE PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES IN THE LIBRARY AND ARCHIVES SERVICE OF KARO DISTRICT

Abstract: To get the best results from the existence of employees in the organization, it is necessary to define the right strategy, including thinking about how to manage employees so that they want to achieve the vision and mission&#8230; ion of the organization. set out, and to create work motivation to achieve high performance and loyalty to the work of employees. The aim of this study was to know whether compensation and motivation at work affect performance. This study is a quantitative study, with a sample of 35 employees, with the results concluding that pay and work motivation have a significant effect in part on performance, which is highlighted by table t counts > t, after the test results, it is concluded that salary and work motivation have a simultaneous effect, this is shown by the calculated value F > table F. Wage and motivation work also provides almost all the variance values ​​of the performance variable, i.e. 87.9%. Based on the research results, the author suggests that leaders should care or develop policies related to compensation or ways to motivate employees. can increase employee loyalty and work capacity so it has a positive impact on performance

Abstract: Study This aims to find out and deepen Improvement Growth Results Sweet Corn Plants ( Zea Mays) With Utilization Blotong and POC Seprint. This research was conducted on the land of the Department of Environmental Protection&#8230; ion Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Department of Medan City, Jl. Keramat Indah No. 4, Medan Southeast, Medan Denai District, North Sumatra. The experimental design that The design used in this study was a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 3x3 factorial pattern with 3 replications with total treatment combinations as many as 9 treatments. Treatment factor of Blotong dose with symbol B consisting of 3 level that is : (B1) 0.50 kg/plot (B2) 1.00 kg/plot (B3) 1.50 kg/plot. Factor POC Seprint concentration with the symbol S which consists of 3 levels, namely: (S1) 4 ml/1 L water (S2) 8 ml/1 L water and (S3) 12 ml/1 L water. Observation data was carried out analysis of variance with F test at 5% level, if the difference is significant then the test followed by Duncan's test at 5% level. 1). The effect of the Blotong dose has an effect very real on plant height, number of leaves, flag leaf length, leaf width flag, weight of cob, diameter of cob, length of cob, but it has an effect real on production per plot And amount line per cob, whereas had no significant effect on the stem diameter of sweet corn plants ( Zea Mays ). 2). Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that the treatment POC Seprint does not have a very significant impact on all parameters Which observed. Addition fertilizer Seprint with concentration 12 ml/1 L water show results Which best compared to treatment other. 3). Interaction between treatment influences Blotong and POC Seprint no real effect on all observation parameters observed on sweet corn plants ( Zea Mays ).

The Effect of Inflation, Exchange Rate, BI Rate, and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) on Third-Party Funds of Islamic Commercial Banks during the 2020–2024 Period

Abstract: This study aims to examine the short-term and long-term relationships between inflation, exchange rate, BI rate, and GDP on third-party funds (DPK) in Islamic commercial banks. This research uses a quantitative approach&#8230; and secondary data, which consist of 60 monthly observations from January 2020 to December 2024. The analysis tool employed is the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM), with several tests conducted, including the stationarity test, optimal lag test, VAR stability test, cointegration test, Granger causality test, VECM estimation, impulse response function (IRF) test, and forecast error variance decomposition (FEVD) test. The results indicate that inflation has a significant negative effect on DPK in both the short and long term. The exchange rate has no significant effect on DPK in either the short or long term. The BI rate does not affect DPK in the short term, while in the long term, it tends to show a negative effect, though not significant. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has a significant positive effect on DPK in both the short and long term.

The Correlation Of Excessive Assignment Between Student’s Mental Health

Abstract: This research investigated the correlation of excessive assignments on the mental health of fifth-year English language students at State Islamic Religious Institution in Central Kalimantan. The research hypothesized a strong&#8230; trong positive correlation between perceived assignment load and mental health problems. The method of this research used quantitative approach using a questionnaire. The Data was collected from 20 participants. The researchers, analyzed the data using pearson's correlation coefficient JASP to examine the relationship between excessive assignment and mental health condition. Based on the findings, the result showed a significant positive correlation (r = 0.900, p <.001) between excessive assignment and mental health condition, indicating that 81.0% of the variance in students' mental health could be attributed to their perceived workload. Educational institutions should take proactive steps to manage student workloads and provide mental health support services, such as counseling, time management training, and flexible deadlines. Promoting a balanced approach to academic assessment that prioritizes both academic excellence and student well-being is crucial for fostering the success and well-being of English language students. This research limited due to the small sample size and focus on a specific student population. Future research with larger and more diverse samples is needed to further explore the complex relationship between academic demands and student mental health. The findings highlight the urgent need for universities and educators to prioritize student mental health alongside academic achievement. Implementing practical strategies to manage workloads and provide mental health support can promote a more holistic and student-centered educational environment.

Yes! We Can Teach and We Feel More Confident in Teaching: The Influence of Senior High School Teachers’ Demographic Variables on Their Self-Efficacy in Teaching

Abstract: It is generally accepted that a teacher's perception of efficacy correlates with the quality of instruction they offer. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics that senior high school (SHS) mathematics&#8230; tics teachers in Ghana's Ashanti Region regard as the most influential in influencing their confidence in their abilities to teach their subject. It was requested that 154 senior high school teachers from 20 different senior high schools reply to a questionnaire containing 12 items. According to the results of an independent sample t-test, male teachers have significantly stronger self-efficacy views than their female colleagues. Again, the results of a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) test reveal that there was no statistically significant difference between the means of the five groups of teacher teaching experience in terms of teacher efficacy. Teachers should take part in ongoing professional development activities to make sure they are still good at their jobs.
