Penguatan Ekonomi KWT Srikandi Melalui Optimalisasi Digital Marketing Dan Diversifikasi Produk Olahan Cabai di Pringsewu

Abstract: Abstract: This community service activity aims to strengthen the economy of the Srikandi Women Farmers Group (KWT) in Pekon Srikaton, Adiluwih District, Pringsewu Regency, through the implementation of digital marketing… and diversification of processed chili products. The main problems of KWT include limited skills in chili processing and low utilization of digital technology for marketing. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), with stages of socialization, chili processing training, digital marketing training, mentoring, and evaluation. The training activities increased the skills of KWT members in processing chili peppers into various products such as chili flakes, chili powder, and chili oil, as well as improving their ability to utilize social media for promotion. The results of the evaluation showed a significant increase in technical skills, entrepreneurial interest, and motivation of members to develop a business based on chili derivative products. This activity has proven to be effective in encouraging the economic independence of women through the use of technology and product innovation. Keywords: chili; digital marketing; product diversification   Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat ekonomi Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Srikandi di Pekon Srikaton, Kecamatan Adiluwih, Kabupaten Pringsewu, melalui penerapan digital marketing dan diversifikasi produk olahan cabai. Permasalahan utama mitra meliputi keterbatasan keterampilan dalam pengolahan cabai serta rendahnya pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk pemasaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR), dengan tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan pengolahan turunan cabai, pelatihan digital marketing, pendampingan, serta evaluasi. Kegiatan pelatihan menghasilkan peningkatan keterampilan anggota KWT dalam mengolah cabai menjadi berbagai produk seperti bon cabai, cabai bubuk, dan chili oil, serta meningkatkan kemampuan dalam memanfaatkan media sosial untuk promosi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan teknis sebesar 60%, minat berwirausaha, dan motivasi anggota untuk mengembangkan usaha berbasis produk turunan cabai sebesar 20%. Kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dalam mendorong kemandirian ekonomi perempuan melalui pemanfaatan teknologi dan inovasi produk. Kata kunci: cabai; digital marketing; diversifikasi produk

PLANTATION COMMODITY SELECTION IN CENTRAL JAVA USING MABAC METHOD AND PSI WEIGHTING

Abstract: Abstract: Central Java has significant potential in the plantation sector with various commodities such as pepper, cloves, tobacco, tea, sugarcane, coffee, nutmeg, and patchouli. However, the abundance of commodities does… s not guarantee that all of them provide maximum benefits. This study aims to recommend the most potential plantation commodities for development. The research utilizes plantation data from Central Java over the past few years, obtained from Satu Data Indonesia, covering land area, production, productivity, and the number of farmers. The evaluation criteria include land area, production, productivity, and the number of farmers. In the decision-making process, a Decision Support System (DSS) approach is applied using the Multi-Attributive Border Approximation Area Comparison (MABAC) method and the Preference Selection Index (PSI). The MABAC method is used to determine rankings, while PSI is used for criteria weighting. The results indicate that sugarcane, tobacco, and robusta coffee are the best commodities, with final scores of 0.419, 0.237, and 0.020, respectively. Therefore, it can be concluded that the most potential commodities for development in Central Java are sugarcane, tobacco, and robusta coffee.   Keywords: central java; MABAC;  plantation; PSI     Abstrak: Jawa Tengah memiliki potensi besar di sektor perkebunan dengan berbagai komoditas seperti lada, cengkeh, tembakau, teh, tebu, kopi, pala, dan nilam. Tetapi dengan banyaknya komoditas, tidak memastikan bahwa semua komoditas memberikan manfaat yang maksimal. Penilitian ini bertujuan membuat rekomendasi komoditas perkebunan yang paling potensial untuk dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data perkebunan di Jawa Tengah dalam beberapa tahun terakhir yang diperoleh dari Satu Data Indonesia, mencakup luas lahan, produksi, produktivitas, jumlah petani. Kriteria evaluasi yang digunakan meliputi luas lahan, produksi, produktivitas, jumlah petani. Dalam proses pengambilan keputusan, digunakan metode SPK dengan pendekatan (MABAC) serta (PSI). Metode MABAC digunakan untuk menentukan peringkat, sementara PSI digunakan untuk pembobotan kriteria. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penilitian ini yaitu Tebu, Tembakau, Robusta merupakan tanaman terbaik dengan hasil akhir 0,419, 0,237, 0,020. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan tanaman yang dapat dikembangkan dengan potensial di wilayah Jawa Tengah dengan berbagai macam komoditas yaitu komoditas Tebu, Tembakau, dan Robusta.   Kata kunci: jawa tengah; MABAC; perkebunan ; PSI

The Effect Of Giving Manure Type Growth Regulators On The Vegetative Phase Of Chili Plants (Capsicum Frutescens)

Abstract: Cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) is a horticultural commodity with high economic value and continuously increasing market demand. The success of cayenne pepper production is largely determined by vegetative growth… in the early stages, which is influenced by the availability of nutrients and plant growth regulators. The use of manure as a source of organic matter and natural Plant Growth Regulators (PGRs) is expected to enhance vegetative growth. This study aimed to determine the effect of manure application and natural PGRs on the vegetative growth of cayenne pepper and to identify the treatment that produces the best growth.The research was conducted from December to January 2026 at the land of the Kopbun Suka Tani Sejahtera Business Research Center, Kota Juang District, Bireuen Regency. The study used a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with a 4 × 3 pattern and three replications. The first factor was the dosage of manure consisting of 0 kg (control), 1 kg, 1.5 kg, and 2 kg per plant. The second factor was the type of natural PGR, consisting of shallot extract, rice water, and coconut water. The observed parameters included plant height, number of leaves, leaf width, and number of branches at 15, 30, and 45 days after planting (DAP). Data were analyzed using the F-test and continued with the Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) test at a 5% significance level if the results were significant.The results showed that manure application had no significant effect on all vegetative growth parameters up to 45 DAP. The application of natural PGRs also showed no significant effect at 15, 30, and 45 DAP, as well as on other parameters. There was no significant interaction between manure and natural PGRs on all observed parameters.

Differences in Growth and Yield Responses of Several Cayenne Pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) Varieties in Cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) Interrows

Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the response of several cayenne pepper varieties (Capsicum frutescens L.) on the growth and yield of cayenne pepper cultivated in the cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) alley cropping system. The research… arch was conducted from April to July 2025 at Mon Jambe Village, Jeumpa District, and the Kopbun Suka Tani Sejahtera Business Research Center, Kota Juang District, Bireuen Regency. The experiment employed a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with four varieties as treatments and three replications, resulting in 12 experimental units. The tested varieties were Rajo, Genie, Bara, and Tetra Hijau. Data were collected through observations of plant height, number of leaves, number of fruits, fruit weight, and fresh biomass weight, and were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) to determine differences among treatments. The results showed that the varietal factor had a highly significant effect on leaf number and a significant effect on fruit number and fruit weight. The Bara variety exhibited the most adaptive and productive performance under the cocoa alley cropping system, as indicated by superior vegetative growth and yield compared to other varieties. The novelty of this study lies in emphasizing that varietal selection is a key factor in optimizing the utilization of cocoa alley spaces for cayenne pepper cultivation. These findings are expected to provide a scientific basis for developing cayenne pepper cultivation technologies in cocoa alley systems and to serve as a reference for further research on adaptive variety development under such environmental conditions.
