Abstract:The development of digital technology over the past two decades has revolutionized human communication, social interaction, and the formation of both individual and collective identities in a global context. Digital media…
a no longer merely function as communication tools but have become socio-cultural spaces that actively shape values, norms, symbols, and everyday practices. This phenomenon raises research questions regarding how cultural transformation and identity construction are influenced by the dominance of digital technology, as well as how social media and platform algorithms shape cultural visibility and digital identities. This study employs a qualitative approach through a critical narrative literature review, synthesizing theories of network society, mediatization, cultural globalization, digital capitalism, and digital identity. The analysis focuses on four key issues: cultural digitalization, the role of social media in identity formation, the emergence of hybrid identities, and platform power in determining cultural representation. Findings indicate that digital technology has ambivalent effects: it expands spaces for cultural expression, enhances public participation, and provides opportunities for marginalized groups to represent their identities; however, global platform dominance drives cultural homogenization, identity commodification, and inequitable symbolic representation. The novelty of this study lies in integrating a critical perspective on the influence of algorithms and digital capitalism in identity formation, which has rarely been addressed comprehensively in digital cultural studies. These findings offer theoretical contributions to media and cultural research as well as practical implications for understanding identity representation in the global digital era.
Abstract:The dynamics of modern education, marked by rapid social, cultural, and moral changes, require Christian Religious Education (CRE) not only to preserve its faith-based foundations but also to respond critically and constructively…
ructively to contemporary challenges. The main issue addressed in this study is how CRE can integrate the steadfastness of theological values with social sensitivity without losing its Christian identity. This study aims to analyze the relevance and contribution of the philosophical streams of Essentialism and Reconstructionism in the development of contemporary Christian Religious Education. The research employs a qualitative approach through a literature review, using descriptive–interpretative analysis of relevant scientific, philosophical, and theological sources. The findings indicate that Essentialism makes a significant contribution to strengthening the foundations of faith, shaping Christian character, and internalizing core Christian values that are normative and sustainable. Conversely, Reconstructionism positions CRE as a means of social renewal that encourages learners to actively engage in justice, social responsibility, and societal transformation. The integration of these two philosophical approaches enables CRE to develop holistically by balancing spiritual, moral, and social dimensions within the educational process. The conclusion of this study affirms that Essentialism and Reconstructionism possess strategic relevance as a philosophical foundation for contextual and transformative Christian Religious Education. The novelty of this research lies in its integrative philosophical model that harmonizes the firmness of faith with an orientation toward social change, thereby offering a new conceptual framework for the development of Christian Religious Education that is adaptive to the challenges of modern education without losing its theological essence.
Abstract:The rapid advancement of digital technology and the increasingly widespread penetration of the internet have significantly driven the growth of e-commerce in Indonesia, leading to notable changes in consumer behavior in…
making purchasing decisions. This condition requires business actors to comprehensively understand marketing factors that play a crucial role in influencing consumer decisions on e-commerce platforms, particularly those related to price, promotion, and product quality. The research problem of this study focuses on how these three variables shape consumer purchasing decisions amid increasingly intense e-commerce competition. This study aims to analyze the influence of price, promotion, and product quality on purchasing decisions in e-commerce by employing a qualitative approach through a literature review of various relevant scholarly sources, including both national and international journals. The findings indicate that competitive pricing aligned with consumers’ perceived value has a strong influence on attracting purchase intentions, while appropriate, sustainable, and communicative promotional strategies are able to enhance consumer awareness and purchase motivation. On the other hand, product quality is proven to be a key determinant in building trust, satisfaction, and consumer loyalty in online transactions. The conclusion of this study confirms that price, promotion, and product quality simultaneously contribute positively and significantly to e-commerce purchasing decisions. The novelty of this scholarly work lies in its conceptual synthesis that integrates these three variables within the context of Indonesian e-commerce consumer behavior, providing a holistic understanding that can serve as a strategic basis for decision-making among digital business practitioners in the technology-based economic era.
Abstract:Islamic Religious Education in higher education frequently experiences a reduction of meaning due to the separation between the mastery of empirical sciences and the cultivation of spirituality, resulting in its position…
being perceived as a complementary course with limited integration into other academic disciplines. This condition raises both conceptual and practical issues regarding how to design a model of Islamic Religious Education that systematically, applicatively, and contextually integrates scientific knowledge and spirituality within contemporary higher education. This study aims to formulate such an integrative framework through a qualitative approach based on an in-depth literature review of books, journal articles, and research findings, which are analyzed thematically and conceptually. The results identify three main strategies: the development of an interdisciplinary curriculum that internalizes ethical–tawhidic values within professional sciences, the implementation of value-based pedagogy that connects spiritual concepts such as as-sidq and al-amanah with real-life case studies, and the strengthening of campus culture that supports value internalization through co-curricular activities and community service. The synthesis of findings indicates that this integrative model has the potential to enhance students’ moral awareness, spiritual resilience, and ethical decision-making capacity in responding to the dynamics and complexities of modern life. The conclusion emphasizes that the integration of scientific knowledge and spirituality in Islamic Religious Education is not merely a curricular supplement, but a strategic necessity in higher education. The novelty of this study lies in the formulation of a conceptual framework that positions spirituality as an overarching paradigm that provides meaning, direction, and ethical responsibility for the entire structure of knowledge, while offering an applicative model to overcome the dichotomy between secular science and religion in order to produce graduates with strong character, reflective capacity, and a commitment to social responsibility. The theoretical and practical implications of this model are expected to serve as a reference for academic policy development and innovation in Islamic Religious Education learning that is adaptive to global challenges and responsive to the needs of students across contemporary interdisciplinary fields in a sustainable, transformative, and contextually Islamic humanistic value-based manner.
Abstract:The rapid growth of the online transportation sector in Indonesia has driven a significant transformation in urban mobility systems, including in Denpasar City. One of the impacts of this development is the increasing competition…
mpetition among driver-partners, which directly affects fluctuations in their income. This study aims to empirically analyze the influence of competition level, working hours duration, and fare policies on the income of GoRide partners in Denpasar City. A quantitative approach was used in this research, with the population consisting of all active GoRide driver-partners in the area. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula with a 10% significance level, resulting in 67 randomly selected respondents. Data were collected through the distribution of structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression methods to examine the effect of each independent variable on income as the dependent variable. The results show that the competition variable has a significant negative effect on partner income, indicating that the higher the level of competition, the lower the income earned. Conversely, working hours have a positive and significant effect, indicating that increased working duration directly contributes to higher income. Meanwhile, fare policy shows a positive but insignificant effect, meaning that although there is a statistically positive relationship, the effect is not strong enough to significantly impact income. These findings highlight the importance of efficient management of working hours and strategic adaptation to competition levels as efforts to maintain the economic sustainability of driver-partners. In addition, platform providers are advised to periodically review fare policies to ensure they remain aligned with market dynamics and partner needs, in order to maintain a sustainable income balance.
Abstract:Stunting remains a crucial public health issue in Indonesia as it has multidimensional impacts on physical growth, cognitive development, productivity, and the long-term quality of human resources. This study aims to analyze…
lyze the potential application of predictive Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Wearable Health Technology in preventing child stunting, with an emphasis on the integration of technology into the health system, socio-cultural interrelations, and ethical dimensions that need to be anticipated. The research employed a qualitative approach through a systematic literature review, analysis of national health policies, and examination of reports on the implementation of digital health technologies related to child health. The results indicate that wearable devices are effective in recording health indicators in real-time, while predictive AI algorithms enable early detection of stunting risks, allowing interventions to be carried out quickly, accurately, and in a personalized manner. However, the success of implementation is highly dependent on the support of the digital health ecosystem, including adaptive regulations, infrastructure readiness, digital literacy among communities, as well as multi-stakeholder collaboration involving the government, medical professionals, the technology industry, and families. This study affirms that the integration of Wearable Health Technology and predictive AI is not merely an additional tool in medical services, but rather a representation of a health system transformation towards a more preventive, predictive, precise, and participatory paradigm. Thus, the utilization of evidence-based digital innovations has the potential to strengthen the effectiveness of stunting prevention programs in Indonesia while accelerating the achievement of national health development targets within the context of technological disruption and global dynamics.
Abstract:Indonesia, as an archipelagic country, holds a geographically strategic position while also being vulnerable to various forms of transnational crimes, including the entry of illegal immigrants via maritime routes. Law enforcement…
forcement in maritime areas presents its own challenges due to the need to monitor vast territories, limited facilities and infrastructure, as well as the complex modus operandi employed by illegal immigration offenders. In this context, the Water Police (Pol-Air) serves as the main actor in maintaining maritime security and order, particularly in efforts to prevent the entry of illegal immigrants. This study aims to analyze the strategies and actions undertaken by Pol-Air in performing this function, as well as to evaluate the obstacles faced. The research method used is normative legal research with a qualitative approach, through analysis of existing laws and regulations as well as empirical practices in the field. The results of the study indicate that Pol-Air conducts various preventive measures, such as routine sea patrols in vulnerable areas, the use of maritime surveillance technology, improvement of personnel competencies, and public dissemination of immigration law among coastal communities as a form of participatory prevention. In addition, Pol-Air also engages in cross-sectoral coordination with relevant agencies to strengthen institutional synergy. Nevertheless, the implementation of Pol-Air's duties still faces structural and operational challenges, such as budget limitations, lack of integrated information systems, and weak law enforcement against human smuggling networks. Therefore, a reformulation of policies is needed to support institutional strengthening and sustainable inter-agency collaboration.
Abstract:Stock prices represent the market’s consensus regarding the fair value of a business entity, formed through a rational assessment of both financial and non-financial information. Within the frameworks of signaling theory…
ry and market efficiency, financial ratios serve as fundamental indicators reflecting a company's ability to generate profit, manage assets, and maintain short-term liquidity stability. When the market faces systemic disruptions, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, and transitions toward post-pandemic normalization, investor sensitivity to internal indicators tends to increase due to heightened external uncertainty. Consequently, a deep understanding of the internal determinants of stock prices becomes increasingly critical for data-driven investment decision-making. This study aims to empirically examine the effect of the Current Ratio (CR), Return on Assets (ROA), and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) on stock prices, both partially and simultaneously, in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020-2024 period. A quantitative approach was employed, using a descriptive-verificative design and secondary data drawn from audited financial statements and annual closing stock prices. The sample consisted of 91 companies selected through purposive sampling, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 27. The analysis results indicate that all three independent variables have a positive and significant impact on stock prices, both individually and collectively. This study contributes to the capital market literature by highlighting the relevance of financial ratios in explaining stock price fluctuations in the post-pandemic period, a topic that remains underexplored in the context of developing countries.
Abstract:This study investigates the critical determinants of export success in the traditional ceramics industry of Plered, using the Dodol Badebah home enterprise as a case study. The research specifically analyzes the effects…
of product quality, marketing strategy, and external institutional support on export performance. A quantitative research design was adopted, utilizing structured questionnaires distributed to 60 consumers of Plered ceramics. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to assess the influence and significance of each independent variable on export outcomes. Findings indicate that product quality exerts a significant and positive effect on export success, particularly through attributes such as design innovation, material strength, aesthetic value, and compliance with international standards. Conversely, marketing strategy and external support did not demonstrate statistically significant effects, suggesting the need for strategic realignment and more targeted institutional engagement. These results highlight the dominant role of internal capabilities, especially quality control and product development, over external promotional or governmental interventions in driving export readiness and sustainability. The study contributes to the growing body of literature on micro and small enterprises in developing economies by offering empirical evidence on export determinants in cultural and creative industries. Practically, the findings recommend prioritizing product excellence as a core strategy for global market penetration, while simultaneously improving the effectiveness of marketing channels and policy support mechanisms. Future research should explore digital transformation, international consumer preferences, and long-term impacts of policy shifts on export growth in artisanal sectors.
