The research question of this paper is whether 5 Seconds of Summer’s song lyrics entitled Good Girl can be analyzed through Hegelian Dialectics. Through qualitative method, this paper shows how the situation of the girl is covered by old and new knowledge in the scheme of thesis-antithesis-synthesis as theorized by G. W. F. Hegel. This approach emphasizes how traditional and modern understandings interact, highlighting how dynamic identity building is. Using explorative approach, the components of the song lyrics are discussed through subtextual understandings that Hegelian Dialectics may erode such stereotype and later shape another stigma as well. It is analyzed that the girl lives the stigma that a good girl is a nerd and should not have fun outside the house. The song lyrics then accentuate that a smart girl could also be a bad girl and it indeed breaks the stigma of a clever girl is always a good girl. In conclusion, the song lyrics show how ideas of a good and a bad girl are not that simple since those reflect complex situation between common, social, and even academic norms. By stating so, the novelty of this article is evident; such new literary works may still always contain certain philosophical presuppositions.

Nadia Putri Ayu, Desy Safitri, Sujarwo
Abstract: The rapid advancement of digital technology has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including how individuals interact and access information. Young people, particularly university students, are among… the most affected by these changes. One phenomenon that has emerged alongside the increasing use of social media is Fear of Missing Out (FoMO)—a feeling of anxiety or worry about being left out of trends, information, or social activities experienced by others. This phenomenon not only affects individuals psychologically but also has implications for students’ consumer behavior. This study aims to analyze the influence of FoMO on students’ consumptive behavior and to identify the mediating or reinforcing factors that shape this relationship. The research employs a qualitative approach, using data collection techniques through literature review from various recent and relevant sources. The findings indicate that FoMO has a significant correlation with the rise of consumptive behavior among students, especially in the context of purchasing symbolic goods that enhance one’s self-image on social media. Key factors influencing the relationship between FoMO and consumptive behavior include the level of digitalization, social dynamics such as peer pressure, and low self-control. Furthermore, the study finds that financial literacy plays an important protective role. Students with higher levels of financial literacy tend to be more capable of managing the consumptive urges triggered by FoMO. This research contributes new insights into the psychological impact of social media on students’ economic behavior. The novelty of the study lies in its in-depth analysis of the link between FoMO and student consumer behavior in the digital era, as well as the identification of relevant mediating factors. Therefore, the results of this study are expected to serve as a foundation for developing more adaptive digital and financial literacy education programs to meet the challenges of the technological era.

Dyah Andini Puspasari, Qomaruddin, H. Masing, Dyah Andini Puspasari
Abstract: Electricity has become an essential need in daily life and is a primary resource that supports various economic activities. Along with the growth of the population, technological advancements, and increased investments,… the demand for electricity supply is projected to continue rising. In Indonesia, PLN (Perusahaan Listrik Negara) is the main electricity provider, but it often faces challenges in meeting this demand, especially with frequent power outages that disrupt industrial and societal activities. To address this issue, many companies have turned to using generator sets (gensets) as an alternative solution to ensure a stable energy supply. Although the use of gensets provides energy independence, it requires a significant investment. Therefore, an in-depth analysis of the efficiency and economic feasibility of using gensets is necessary. This study aims to analyze the use of gensets at PT. Teladan Prima Agro Bukit Permata Mill, located in Kaubun, East Kutai, focusing on technical-economic aspects such as Present Value (PV), Future Value (FV), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Break Even Point (BEP). Data collected directly from the field includes genset specifications, electricity load, energy consumption, fuel usage, and genset operations. The analysis results indicate that the 455 KVA genset is capable of meeting the factory's electricity needs with an initial cost of IDR 649,649,996. The NPV calculation shows a value of IDR 880,380,813, with an IRR of 6.63%. The BEP is achieved in the 12th month with a profit of IDR 109,645,114. Nofita Rudiani Asbanu, Claudina Margarida Freitas Belo, Yakobus Adi Saingo
Abstract: The Constitution of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) stipulates that the interests of the people must be voiced and accommodated through legislative channels, represented by the People's Representative… ve Council (DPR) from the regional to the central government levels. However, it is often found that the hopes of the people are not fully articulated, resulting in certain issues never reaching a final resolution. This study aims to analyze the role of the DPR in voicing the people's interests based on the fourth principle of Pancasila. The method used in this research is qualitative with a literature study approach, where data is collected from various scientific sources. The results of the analysis show that the main functions of the DPR, namely in legislation, oversight, and budgeting, have not been fully optimized due to weak accountability and transparency. This crisis of representation impacts the decline in public trust, low political participation, and increased polarization in society. To address these issues, systemic reforms are needed, including enhancing transparency, strengthening accountability mechanisms, and involving the public actively in the decision-making process. Thus, the goal of the DPR’s existence, which can be achieved, is to voice the will of the people, realize deliberation for consensus, and ensure justice and welfare in line with the substance of Pancasila’s ideology, particularly its fourth principle. This study recommends the need to restore the essence of deliberation for consensus in accordance with the fourth principle of Pancasila, accompanied by better political education and electoral system reforms to ensure that elected representatives are truly competent and focused on the interests of the people.
