The Influence of Agricultural, Manufacturing, and Mining Sector Output on Aceh's GRDP Growth

Mulki, Akhyarul, Azra, Uliya, Hajar, Ibnu
Abstract: The economic structure of Aceh Province is still dominated by the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sectors, while the contribution of the manufacturing industry sector is relatively lagging. This condition indicates… that the structural transformation process in Aceh has not yet taken place optimally, so that the economic growth that occurs tends to be quantitative, marked by an increase in aggregate output, but does not fully reflect an increase in the quality of the economic structure. This study aims to analyze the influence of the agriculture, manufacturing industry, and mining sectors on the growth of the Regional Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of Aceh Province. The approach used is quantitative with secondary data sources from the BPS of Aceh Province. This study uses panel data which is a combination of cross-regional data and time series data from 2019 to 2023. The results of the study indicate, first; the agricultural sector has a positive effect on GRDP. This is based on the probability value of the agricultural sector variable, which is 0.002. This value is smaller than 0.05. Second; the industrial sector has no effect on GRDP. This is based on the probability value of the industrial sector variable, which is 0.610. This value is greater than 0.05. Third; the mining sector has a positive effect on GRDP. This is based on the probability value of the mining sector variable, which is 0.001. Fourth; The agricultural, industrial and mining sectors have a joint influence on the dependent variable, namely GRDP in Aceh Province

Economic Behavior of The Kediri People in The Shadow of Doho Kediri Airport

Susilowati , Eni, Rofik, Eka Nur, M. Maghfiroh, Ana, Murdinar, Hardining Estu
Abstract: This study aims to examine the economic behavior of the community around Dhoho Airport, Kediri, which has undergone socio-economic transformation due to strategic infrastructure development. This phenomenon is evident in… Kediri Regency, East Java, especially after the start of the construction of Dhoho Airport, a national strategic project designed to be a lever for regional economic growth. The presence of the airport has changed the face of the surrounding area, which was previously agricultural land and modest settlements, into a bustling and fast-growing economic area. This change has led to a surge in new economic activities, such as the emergence of street vendors, restaurants, parking lots, local transportation businesses, and lodging. Using a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods, this study explores the meanings raised by local economic actors in responding to these changes. The findings show that communities show adaptive responses through trade, lodging, and other services, with economic meanings influenced by local values such as blessing, hard work, and kinship. This study concludes that people's economic behavior is not only rational instrumental, but also full of subjective values and meanings, so that regional economic policies need to be designed in an inclusive and contextual manner

Cost Structure, Land Productivity, and Price Efficiency IN Shallot Farmers’ Income in Brebes

Hazizah, Eva, Krisdiana, Agustina
Abstract: This study explored how cost structure, land productivity, and price efficiency shape the income of micro scale shallot farmers in Brebes Regency based on farmers' reported financial experiences and informants' financial… narratives. Using an exploratory qualitative approach, data were collected from five shallot farmers, one agricultural extension officer, and one farmer group leader through semi-structured interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed through thematic analysis supported by source and technique triangulation. The findings show that reported income is highly vulnerable to variable production costs, particularly labor, seed, and pesticides. Land productivity is closely related to land ownership status and farming scale, while price efficiency is constrained by farmers' weak bargaining position and dependence on intermediaries. Farmers apply adaptive strategies such as delaying sales, drying harvested shallots, and converting part of the harvest into seed stock. However, these strategies are limited by liquidity needs, storage capacity, product quality, and market uncertainty. The study concludes that improving farmers' income stability requires integrated cost control, asset productivity, price information access, post-harvest support, and stronger farmer institutions.

Beyond The Hype: a Real World Evaluation of Blockchain's Role in Democratizing Agri Food Systems

Dzreke, Simon Suwanzy
Abstract: Blockchain technology is touted for democratizing supply chains, but 30–40% of smallholder farmers are excluded from fair market participation due to information gaps and power imbalances. The first complete empirical examination… examination of blockchain's capacity to empower disadvantaged farmers in Global South agri-food systems. The paper examines 15 large-scale implementations, including Kenyan coffee cooperatives and Indian dairy collectives, using a rigorous mixed-methods methodology. Technical scalability in resource-limited situations, governance structures that promote meaningful multi-stakeholder engagement, and quantifiable inclusion results for small-scale farmers are thoroughly examined. Comparative case study, agent-based adoption modeling, and quasi-experimental effect evaluation by Propensity Score matching reveal that blockchain's potential is not automatic nor inherent in eight nations. Techno-institutional synergy, not technological complexity, improves democracy, the research shows. Hybrid governance systems with farmer-controlled validator nodes and tokenized decision-making rights enhanced smallholder involvement by 58% and premium retention by 78% over corporate-controlled systems. However, technologically sophisticated deployments without institutional expertise frequently increase power concentration and exclusion. The blockchain viability index helps identify optimal deployment conditions for different commodities, empirical evidence challenges the idea that decentralization automatically promotes inclusion, and the inclusion-by-design framework helps policymakers embed equitable principles into decentralized agri-tech from the start. This study shows food system digitization practitioners and scholars that genuine democratization occurs when technology drives institutional transformation.

YUK TANI: Optimizing the Distribution of Agricultural Products through Android-Based Applications

Oktavia, Chaulina Alfianti, Meisaroh, Firda, Abdillah, Rizky
Abstract: The Pajarakan District area is an agricultural area where 61% of the area is rice fields. Even though the Pajarakan Subdistrict area has large agricultural land, it does not make farmers feel benefited when the harvest season… eason arrives, because many of the farmers feel at a loss because their crops are bought by collectors at low prices. The purpose of this research is to create a system for selling agricultural products to help farmers sell agricultural products directly to agents in order to get a higher price than the price of collectors. In this study, a system was successfully created with the name YUK TANI based on Android using Android Studio, and the CodeIgniter 4 framework for creating REST APIs, and MySQL as database storage. With this system of selling agricultural products, it is hoped that it can help farmers in the Pajarakan District area to improve their economy when post-harvest arrives.

Culinary Innovation Made from Oyster Mushroom: The Process of Mentoring and Nugget Creation as a Business Opportunity for Local MSMEs

Febriyani, Rika, Hamka, Sahiruddin
Abstract: Oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus) are agricultural commodities with high economic value with good nutritional content. Its cultivation in Jumantoro Village, Jumapolo District, Karanganyar Regency, has great potential… l because it is supported by suitable natural conditions. However, farmers and MSMEs still face obstacles in the use of manual equipment and less than optimal marketing, so product innovation is needed to increase the added value and competitiveness of oyster mushrooms in the market. As a solution, a mentoring program was introduced with the culinary innovation of oyster mushroom nuggets. This activity includes surveys and interviews with MSMEs, transfer of cultivation knowledge, and production practices. Nuggets were chosen because their texture resembles chicken meat, making them an economical and healthy food alternative. Production is carried out at the MSME's Mushroom House with a systematic method to ensure quality. The results of the mentoring showed a positive response from MSMEs and the community, both in terms of economy and product acceptance. In addition to increasing local income, this program also provides direct experience for students in understanding mushroom cultivation and processing. By optimizing local potential, innovation in processed oyster mushroom products can be a sustainable strategy in supporting village economic growth.

TRANSFORMATION OF ACEH TENGGARA COCOA FARMERS THROUGH GAP AND APPLICATION-BASED PRICE INFORMATION SYSTEM

Assauwab, Muhammad Husaini, Deden Sumoharjo, Anuar Ramut, Umaidi
Abstract: Cocoa is a strategic commodity in Southeast Aceh Regency, but farmer productivity and income remain low due to limited implementation of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and poor access to price information. This community… ity service activity aims to improve farmers' capacity through an integrated approach that combines improving cocoa cultivation knowledge, strengthening the implementation of GAP, and utilizing real-time cocoa price information applications. The activity was carried out in December 2025 through stages of socialization, technical training, field demonstrations, introduction to price applications, as well as mentoring and evaluation. The results of the activity showed an increase in farmers' knowledge levels from low to medium to high, especially in terms of price information. Initial improvements in GAP adoption were reflected in pruning, fertilization, garden sanitation, pest control, and harvesting and post-harvesting practices that were more in line with standards. Access to price information shifted from dependence on middlemen to the use of applications and market comparisons, which increased farmers' independence in determining the time of sale. The price range difference between farmers and market references confirms that limited information weakens farmers' bargaining position. Overall, the integrated approach has proven relevant in improving farming efficiency and strengthening the basis for increasing cocoa farmers' income, although the sustainability of the impact requires continued assistance and strengthening of farmer institutions.
