Abstract:This study examines the effects of health, education, economic, and infrastructure expenditures, economic growth, investment, and the Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) on the Human Development Index (HDI) in Indonesia.…
a. It also compares the determinants of HDI between Western and Eastern Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach, the study applies panel data regression with the Common Effect Model and Ordinary Least Squares method. Secondary data from 2012–2021 were obtained from Statistics Indonesia, the Ministry of Finance, and other official institutions. The results show that all independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on HDI. Partially, education expenditure, infrastructure expenditure, and investment have positive and significant effects, while health expenditure, economic expenditure, economic growth, and LFPR are statistically insignificant. Regional analysis reveals different determinants of HDI. In Western Indonesia, education expenditure, infrastructure expenditure, economic growth, and LFPR significantly affect HDI. In Eastern Indonesia, infrastructure expenditure, investment, and LFPR are significant determinants. These findings demonstrate that regional disparities in human development are associated with differences in economic capacity, infrastructure quality, investment distribution, connectivity, and development governance. Therefore, place-based development policies are required to improve the effectiveness and equity of human development, particularly in Eastern Indonesia.
Abstract:This study investigates factors driving purchase intention toward reject fashion products at factory outlets in Makassar, Indonesia. Reject products garments that fail manufacturer quality control standards but are sold…
legally at discounted prices represent an underexplored segment of circular fashion consumption. Drawing on the Theory of Planned Behavior and the Value-Based Adoption Model, this study tests a structural model in which four antecedents defect transparency, price perception, environmental consciousness, and store reputation influence purchase intention through the mediating role of perceived value. A quantitative survey was conducted with 250 consumers who visited factory outlets in Makassar. Data were analyzed using PLS-SEM via SmartPLS 4.0. Common Method Bias was confirmed absent using Harman's Single Factor Test and Full Collinearity VIF. Results indicate that all four antecedents positively influence perceived value, which strongly predicts purchase intention. Price perception is the dominant driver, followed by store reputation, environmental consciousness, and defect transparency. Perceived value fully mediates the effect of defect transparency and partially mediates the remaining three antecedents. These findings contribute to circular fashion consumer behavior literature and offer practical guidance for factory outlet operators in Eastern Indonesia.

Abstract:This study examines consumer behavior towards sustainable products, specifically investigating the influence of environmental attitudes and green product attributes on green purchase intention among Tanimbar Ikat Weaving…
consumers in Tanimbar Islands Regency. Employing a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis through SmartPLS software, data were collected from 385 respondents selected via purposive sampling based on consumers who knew and had purchased Tanimbar woven products. The research tested direct relationships and moderating effects of premium price, education, and gender variables. Results revealed that environmental attitudes (β = 0.349; t = 5.306; p = 0.000) and green product attributes (β = 0.207; t = 3.014; p = 0.003) significantly and positively influence green purchase intention, with the model explaining 60.7% of the variance (R² = 0.607) and demonstrating strong predictive relevance (Q² = 0.539). However, the three moderating variables—premium price, education, and gender—did not significantly strengthen or weaken these relationships, indicating that environmental consciousness and product perception remain dominant factors regardless of demographic or economic considerations. These findings provide practical implications for traditional craft entrepreneurs in developing sustainability-based marketing strategies and empowering the local creative economy, while contributing to the sustainable development goals through cultural preservation and environmental conservation in Indonesia's eastern region.
Abstract:This study aims to analyze the correlation between Leadership Responsibility, Reward Giving, and Promotion on Employee Dedication within the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Riau Islands Province. This research employs…
ys a quantitative approach with a correlational method to determine the extent to which these three variables influence employee dedication both individually and simultaneously. The research sample was selected using cluster sampling, representing the central region (Karimun Regency), eastern region (Tanjungpinang City), and western region (Natuna Regency), totaling 72 respondents, of which 52 were used as the main sample and 20 as a trial sample. The findings indicate that leadership responsibility positively affects employee dedication, emphasizing the importance of leaders who provide clear guidance, foster effective communication, and create a work environment that supports motivation and performance. Reward giving is shown to enhance Employee Dedication by motivating them to achieve work targets and strengthening organizational loyalty. Meanwhile, promotion serves as a career incentive that encourages commitment and responsibility in task execution. Simultaneous analysis shows that these three variables collectively contribute significantly to improving employee dedication. These findings underscore that a combination of responsible leadership, an effective reward system, and transparent promotion policies can strengthen loyalty, commitment, and work ethic among employees in the Ministry of Religious Affairs. This study provides important implications for human resource management development in the public sector, particularly in strategies aimed at enhancing employee performance and dedication through appropriate managerial policies.
Abstract:Marriage involving pregnant women outside wedlock remains a critical socio-cultural and legal phenomenon in Indonesia, particularly in North Halmahera where family honor, religious authority, and customary law strongly influence…
nfluence communal life. This study aimed to explore how such marriages are understood, legitimized, and practiced by families, community leaders, and legal institutions. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with religious leaders, adat leaders, government officials, parents, and young women, complemented by participant observation and document analysis, and analyzed with an interactive model of reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that marriage is primarily arranged to safeguard family honor, with communities regarding it as the only socially acceptable corrective measure, while religious leaders across traditions adopt pragmatic interpretations, invoking public interest or redemption to justify the practice, and customary rituals together with state dispensations further reinforce its legitimacy. Although marriage resolves immediate stigma and reintegrates families socially, it simultaneously generates long-term vulnerabilities, including interrupted education, economic dependence, marital instability, psychological stress, and increased maternal and neonatal health risks. This study contributes to the sociology of law and religion by demonstrating how socio-cultural confinement, Islamic legal pluralism, and adat practices converge in eastern Indonesia, while underscoring the urgent need for holistic interventions that integrate sexuality education, family communication, religious engagement, and legal reform to protect women and children more effectively.

The role of health workers provides many sources of information to develop and learn solutions and support for people with various types of NCDs.
Abstract:Abstract: The types of small and medium business sectors that are spread in the Kota Kisaran Timur District vary widely, including fashion, handicrafts, furniture, cafes, restaurants. One of the obstacles that are often…
faced by SMEs is the limited promotional media and the absence of mapping the location of these SMEs. The Department of Cooperatives and Trade of Asahan Regency has provided information on SMEs but it is still static in archive form and has not been computerized. The community, business actors, and parties who need information about these SMEs must visit the Cooperatives and Trade Office of Asahan Regency directly, which takes a long time and is less effective. The geographic information system used is web-based and uses the Google Maps API for mapping locations by determining coordinates. The use of WebGIS can make it easier for people to find information and the location of SMEs that are displayed in the form of regional mapping accurately and quickly. In addition, it also makes it easier for the Asahan Regency Cooperative and Trade Office to view information on the spread and growth of SMEs.
