While previous studies have primarily emphasized economic factors, limited attention has been given to the combined roles of financial literacy and self-control in strengthening household food security. This study aims to examine the effects of financial literacy and self-control on household food security among millennial families in Mattoangin Village, Makassar City. A quantitative research design was employed using a survey of 180 millennial households selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results reveal that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on household food security by improving financial planning and resource allocation. Self-control also exerts a significant positive influence by promoting disciplined spending behavior and reducing impulsive consumption. Furthermore, financial literacy and self-control jointly explain a substantial proportion of household food security. These findings highlight that both financial knowledge and behavioral discipline are essential for enhancing household resilience. The study recommends strengthening community-based financial education and behavioral intervention programs to promote sustainable household food security among urban millennial families.

Namun, di balik kemudahan ini terdapat tantangan etika sosial yang kompleks akibat penggunaan media sosial, yang perlu ditangani dengan serius. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki berbagai tantangan etika sosial yang muncul terkait dengan pemakaian media sosial dan merumuskan solusi yang dapat dilaksanakan oleh individu, masyarakat, institusi pendidikan, pemerintah, serta penyedia platform media sosial. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode tinjauan pustaka, mengacu pada cara yang diterapkan untuk menggali informasi dan pengetahuan yang bersumber dari referensi buku, jurnal dan artikel yang relevan dengan etika komunikasi serta pemanfaatan media sosial pada era digital. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya tantangan dalam etika sosial yang paling penting dalam media sosial meliputi penyebaran informasi yang tidak benar serta hoaks, anonimitas yang mengurangi rasa tanggung jawab, meningkatnya ujaran kebencian dan perundungan siber, serta hilangnya rasa empati dalam komunikasi digital. Banyak pengguna media sosial yang tidak menyadari bahwa tindakan mereka, serta unggahan dan komentar yang dibuat, dapat berdampak pada orang lain dan masyarakat secara umum. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, penelitian ini memberikan beberapa rekomendasi, termasuk meningkatkan literasi digital melalui pendidikan media sejak usia dini, menerapkan kebijakan ketat terhadap perilaku tidak etis di media sosial, dan meneguhkan nilai empati serta tanggung jawab dalam dunia digital.

ovince; however, the strong public interest in working abroad is often not accompanied by adequate understanding of safe migration procedures, protection mechanisms, and the rights and obligations of migrant workers. This condition has led to serious problems, including the increasing number of non-procedural migrant workers, deportation cases, and vulnerability to human trafficking crimes, indicating an information and communication gap between migrant worker protection institutions and prospective migrant workers. This study aims to analyze the communication strategies implemented by the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Service Center of East Nusa Tenggara Province in enhancing public awareness of migrant workers’ rights. A qualitative approach with a descriptive method was employed to provide an in-depth portrayal of the communication practices carried out by the institution, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation of socialization activities, and documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, while the conceptual analytical framework was based on the Shannon–Weaver Two-Way Communication Model to assess message delivery effectiveness, communication channels, message recipients, and feedback mechanisms. The findings indicate that the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Service Center of East Nusa Tenggara Province has implemented various communication strategies, including direct community outreach, pre-departure orientation, the use of visual and audio media, and cross-sector collaboration with local governments and community leaders. Although these strategies contribute to increasing public knowledge regarding migration procedures and migrant workers’ rights, their effectiveness remains constrained by low literacy levels, challenging geographical conditions, and weak feedback mechanisms from target communities. The study concludes that strengthening dialogic and participatory communication, simplifying messages to improve comprehensibility, and adapting communication media to local cultural contexts are essential for improving migrant worker protection. The novelty of this study lies in integrating a two-way communication model with the socio-cultural context of East Nusa Tenggara as a basis for formulating more contextual, adaptive, and community-empowering communication strategies for migrant worker protection.

After using Backpropogation finally found the best architectural pattern is 8-3-3-1 of 5 aritektur architecture that has been tested. Abstrak: Kebutuhan logistik yang sangat besar pada Rumah Sakit Umum Ibu Kartini Kisaran untuk memperlancar pengobatan membutuhkan suatu sistem yang bisa memprediksi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut dengan tepat agar tidak mengakibatkan kelebihan dan kekurangan terhadap jumlah pemakaian yang selalu berubah setiap tahunnya. Pada saat ini proses perhitungan telah banyak dilakukan dengan bantuan software-software yang ada pada komputer yang berkecepatan tinggi seperti Jaringan Saraf Tiruan. Jaringan Saraf Tiruan Backpropogation digunakan untuk memprediksi proyeksi logistik pasien berdasarkan jenis obat Analgetik, Antiemetik, Vitamin, Antiepilepsi, Anestesi, Anti Parkinson, Psikofarmaka, Kortikosteroid. Pengolahan data proyeksi logistik ini menggunakan software Matlab 6.1. Setelah menggunakan Backpropogation akhirnya ditemukan pola arsitektur yang terbaik yaitu arsitektur 8-3-3-1 dari 5 arsitektur yang telah diujikan. Dari pola tersebut kemudian diprediksi proyeksi logistik di Rumah Sakit Umum Ibu Kartini Kisaran pada tahun 2014 akan meningkat menjadi 91290 dari tahun 2013 sebesar 65422 atau meningkat sebesar 25868 (28,33%).

pendekatan sosio-linguistik, penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis bagaimana bahasa digunakan untuk mencerminkan ketimpangan gender sekaligus menjadi alat perjuangan bagi perempuan. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan data utama berasal dari dialog dan narasi dalam film serta data sekunder berupa literatur tentang gender, budaya Jawa, dan teori sosio-linguistik. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan analisis dialog yang mencerminkan perbedaan bahasa gender. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa bahasa dalam film ini mencerminkan struktur sosial patriarkal yang memengaruhi pola komunikasi berdasarkan gender. Karakter laki-laki, seperti ayah Kartini, menggunakan bahasa formal dengan nada otoritatif untuk menegaskan otoritas mereka, sementara perempuan menggunakan bahasa yang lebih lembut dan tunduk, mencerminkan subordinasi. Kartini, sebagai tokoh utama, menunjukkan penggunaan bahasa yang progresif, memadukan penghormatan terhadap tradisi dengan keberanian menyuarakan ide-idenya terkait emansipasi perempuan. Film ini juga memperlihatkan bagaimana Kartini menggunakan bahasa sebagai alat untuk memberdayakan perempuan di sekitarnya melalui pendidikan dan surat-suratnya. Kesimpulannya, bahasa dalam film ini bukan hanya mencerminkan norma sosial yang ada, tetapi juga menjadi medium bagi Kartini untuk menantang patriarki dan mendorong perubahan sosial.
