Abstract:This study seeks to examine the impact of kinship-based recruiting practices (nepotism) on the reduction in educational staff performance at Bosowa University, with an emphasis on mass recruitment in 2025, which is expected…
ted to include features of nepotism. An explanatory survey design is combined with a quantitative approach in the study methodology. The 107 educational staff members of Bosowa University in 2026 make up the study population, and a complete sampling technique is used. Questionnaires, interviews, observations, and personnel data recording were used to gather data. Descriptive statistics, basic linear regression, and various tests were employed in data analysis. Kinship-based recruitment procedures fall into the top category, according to the study's results (score 4.17). An estimated 52% of the 42 educational employees hired between 2023 and 2025 did so through non-competitive means that included nepotism. The performance of education staff hired prior to 2023 (score 3.70) and those hired between 2023 and 2025 (score 2.31) differs significantly, by 37.6%. 48.3% of the reduction in performance is positively and significantly impacted by family-based recruitment techniques. For education staff hired through non-merit methods, this report suggests implementing a meritocracy system, thorough HR audits, and competency improvement initiatives.
Abstract:Implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) technology and microcontrollers as an automatic temperature control system on tools for proofing bread dough at the Oei Oei Pizza and Patisserie Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise…
ise (MSMEs). The primary issue faced by partners was temperature instability during the dough fermentation process, leading to inconsistent product quality. The implementation method included problem identification, tool design and construction, implementation at partner locations, and mentoring and evaluation. The results of the activity showed that the tool can help IoT-based systems maintain stable fermentation temperatures, improve dough quality consistency, and increase production efficiency. This initiative also has a positive impact on increasing partners' capacity to utilize appropriate technology.
Abstract:This study examines the relationship between sustainability practices and corporate performance in the global context. In an era of rapid technological advancements and heightened environmental awareness, companies are increasingly…
ncreasingly integrating sustainability strategies, such as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), environmental management, and sustainable financial policies, into their operations. The research identifies the main issues faced by businesses in implementing these practices and explores the impact of sustainability on both financial and non-financial performance. The findings indicate that companies adopting sustainability practices show improvements in profitability, efficiency, customer loyalty, and employee satisfaction. For instance, companies in sectors such as energy and manufacturing experienced a notable increase in Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE) after integrating sustainability efforts. Furthermore, the study highlights the significant role of external factors such as government policies and corporate culture in the success of sustainability initiatives. The results contribute to the understanding of how businesses can leverage sustainability to achieve competitive advantage while addressing environmental and social challenges.
Abstract:Primkoppol, a cooperative designed to serve the needs of its police members, plays a crucial role in enhancing member welfare through various programs and services. This study aims to analyze the management system implemented…
ented by Primkoppol and how this system contributes to the improvement of its members' welfare. Employing a descriptive analytical approach, this research delves into the organizational structure, operational mechanisms, and strategies adopted by Primkoppol in executing its functions and objectives. Focusing on the evaluation of management practices, including resource management, profit allocation, and member development programs, this study seeks to identify the keys to success and the challenges faced by Primkoppol in its efforts to enhance member welfare. This analysis is supplemented with secondary data and direct survey results from members to capture their perceptions and experiences regarding the effectiveness of the services provided by Primkoppol. The findings indicate that Primkoppol has implemented various positive initiatives oriented towards improving member welfare, including innovations in financial services, enhancement of product and service quality, and member capacity development through education and training. However, there is also room for improvement, especially in terms of enhancing management transparency, operational efficiency, and adaptation to digital technology. This study concludes that to continue improving its members' welfare, Primkoppol needs to further optimize an adaptive and responsive management system to environmental changes and member needs. Recommendations include improvements in two-way communication between management and members, integration of information technology, and strengthening of institutional capacity.
Abstract:The Covid-19 epidemic have a significant risk to the public's health. The Covid-19 infection spreads swiftly and affects people of all ages. The implementation of health guidelines among students and how students feel they…
ey can complete the Covid-19 procedure cannot be separated. The goals of this study is to ascertain how students view Covid-19 prevention from the viewpoint of the Health Belief Model. This research used a descriptive survey with a sample size of 170 respondents and the sampling method is purposive sampling. Descriptive analysis of the components of HBM perceived severity category is quite good (90.0%), perceived barriers is a quite good category (68.2%), perceived benefits is found to be in a quite good category (77.6%), health motivation is in quite a good category (81.2%) and it can be seen that the perception of vulnerability (55.9%) and perception of cues to act (56.5%) was quite good. Positive perceptions include student perceptions of the Health Belief Model's effectiveness in preventing COVID-19, which are rated as being quite good. Therefore, it is envisaged that linked parties would be able to enhance health promotion initiatives for the Covid-19 prevention procedure, both directly and through media like posters put up around campuses
Performance evaluation of honorary employees in public institutions often relies on subjective linguistic assessments, leading to evaluator bias and limited accountability. To address this, this paper proposes a Hybrid Fuzzy-Weighted Product (Fuzzy-Weighted Product) model. Fuzzy Logic is adopted to transform linguistic terms into Triangular Fuzzy Numbers (TFN) and crisp scores, while the Weighted Product method aggregates these scores based on multi-criteria weights. The model was evaluated using a case study of ten honorary employees across five criteria: discipline, responsibility, work quality, cooperation, and initiative. The experimental results demonstrate that the hybrid model successfully minimizes evaluator subjectivity and delivers mathematically reproducible rankings. A sensitivity analysis confirms the stability of the final rankings, making the proposed Hybrid Fuzzy–Weighted Product model highly suitable as a core framework for decision-support systems in public sector performance appraisal.
